The two ladies in the post office Stockport were extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I didn’t catch their names but it was a Friday afternoon and very busy, they went out of their way to help me with postage & travel money. Even though the shop was queuing out of the door & people were eager to get their jobs done this didn’t phase the staff working, they had excellent customer service & remained professional.
I was visiting Stockport & needed to get some travel money, despite all the building work going on around & the difficult access to the post office, I was given a really great service & they staff were were really lovely too & allowed me to bring my daughters dog inside as I was in my own with her & could not leave her outside.
Thank you so much
Lindsey was a massive help today with a passport application. She was very knowledgeable when it came to what may happen during the whole process and made the application so much easier. Thank you.

Just been in to Post Office Stockport to renew both my children's passports. Lindsay was great, she went through everything with us, was a very quick and easy process. She even managed to do the impossible and take photos that my teenagers approved of! Thank you for making it so straightforward! :)
Excellent service. The staff is very kind and helpful! Ms. Julie assisted me in returning my parcel even though I hadn’t printed the return label, which I thought could just be scanned on my phone. Mr. Dave also facilitated the process, ensuring a very swift parcel dispatch.
I've been using this PO for around 5yrs now and can't recommend it highly enough.
The staff are genuinely brilliant and always check if you're paying too much for the services you require.
They're absolutely still open 6 days a week but with the construction going on around them the access is a bit harder to locate.
No complaints whatsoever. A++++

Opens & close when they please.
Known Dave and the staff here for years, you may be suprised but despite extensive building work our main post office is open for all services, with a smiling face and Manager and staff who go the extra mile for customers. The office still has direct access to Great Underbank by steps and a lift for those who can't cope well on steps. Trusted and available for all government forms, travel and much more. 100% trusted.

Came in to get form to renew my passport and was told I didn't need to fill it in as they would do it for me. I had my passport with me and she said she could do it now. I was served by Veronica who made it so easy and stress free. She saved me a trip coming back and we had a good laugh whilst taking my picture. I would higlhly recommend this service.

The blond lady behind the counter has no idea what she is talking about, creating rules from no where, thinks she knows everything. Very funny…
One staff member in particular is incredibly rude and shouldn't be in a customer facing role at all.
This post office is a joke there is only Karen who gets it right 1st time its like they put extra effort in being rude to there customers
My first visit to Hempshaw Lane Post Office! I was satisfied with the service. Delighted that they open on Sundays to cater for those of us who get time on this day to sort out their parcels and mail to send off. Extremely convenient business/ opening times!
Staff were cheerful and very helpful.
Super Post office and parcle collect store and convenience store. Great range products , excellent opening hours and very helpful and friendly staff.
There are two women who totally don't help. Every time I go in to send a parcel out they are very slow and alot of the time there's a problem that shouldn't be a problem . Avoid this post office if you can
Thank you Thank you so so much, remember i was needing assistance to send my parcel to Australia. Nothing was too much i’m definitely 👍 coming again.

Actually my dad used to go in that shop when he was young too and so did i. Even Sylvia still works there wow 😮. Thankyou Kerry Wetton. Yes it’s me ha ha.

I always have a problem with this branch, there is an elderly lady who works there who is not respectful at all, she asked me to put cash in a postal envelope for something she has no money to give me, but I refused. Rude with a bad attitude and something that sounds racist.

The new lady is rude, she was on the mobile phone when she supposed to be serving, and got the delivery charge and address wrong. The person expecting the parcel, still didn't receive the parcel jet. Terrible service

I first visited as the Post Office that's not local to me as the opening hours are much longer than most which is really convenient. So pleased I did visit. The shop is lovely, great variety and good quality. All the staff in the Post Office and shop are so nice and helpful. It's a lovely place all-round. Unusual today as it's not a chain, makes a really nice change. Would recommend!

I have just visited Edgeley post office and was served by Karen. She was incredibly knowledgeable and very professional. It was a fast service, no queue and nothing was too much trouble. Great experience. This will now be my post office of choice.
Great shop and Post Office.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, long opening hours and a great range of products for sale.
Visited Hazel Grove Post Office today and found the service to be subpar. Despite there being an hour left before closing time, it looked like the staff were already cashing up. With only one out of three employees actively serving a line of 10 people, the wait time was significantly longer than expected. I'd advise seeking an alternative if you're pressed for time.
I took in a parcel and wanted a signed for service. (Parcel Value £90).
The lady at the counter replied ”signed for and delivered by 1pm tomorrow is £11.95” I said that was too expensive, plus I advertised a 48hr service on ebay, so a 2nd class service, it doesn’t have to be delivered by 1pm tomorrow.
The lady said 2nd class will only cover £20 in value not the £90 value of the parcel. I replied (when I said 2nd class, I meant it doesn’t have to arrive tomorrow, not that I want standard 2nd class due to the parcels value). So, I said what about parcel 48? The lady replied “ this is £9.95” I said I will go with that service, as its cheaper. She then handed me pen & paper (very unusual) and asked me to write my name & address, I replied " my name & address is already written on the back of the parcel".
CONCLUSION
If, I hadn’t had mentioned parcel 48 this lady was acting as if bog standard 2nd class, or special delivery by 1pm tomorrow were my only options. Post Office, you need to re-train your staff, so they can explain postal options to their customers, thus offer a better service. I think the staff member knew all the options available, but she was just being selective, lazy and doesn't have the interpersonal skills to talk to someone who doesn't look like her. Her attitude was a disgrace
Karen and Bev are fabulous staff but unfortunately I’m having to give 1 staff due to the awful rudeness of the new owners. Javid in particular serves you whist constantly speaking in another language whilst speaking speaking to his wife in the back office. I had to ask him 4 times was he speaking to me as he was looking at me and rudely stated no.
Karen goes out of her way to assist and help and is very knowledgeable.
Same poo different day. 2.30pm on a Friday guess what closed
They have no idea how Amazon returns work. They refused to take back multiple items in same box as they arrived in. They said that they all have to be packed separately,
Fantastic staff! Really know their stuff. I post abroad weekly and they consistently save me money , explaining to me the best service to use. They go above and beyond to help. Anyone saying otherwise about the people that work here clearly have a stick stuck somewhere on their person , and should give their head a wobble. Efficient & friendly even when serving nut jobs & rude people . Can't fault the place or staff. I would highly recommend this post office .

Great customer service always when I've been. Happy to help you out. Keep up the grt work
Staff at this post office are a complete shambles. Not interested, rude, unhelpful and obviously all would rather be somewhere else.
Can only imagine they only turn up to get discount on their Asda shopping.
Needed to put some money in my account and it was 6.30pm and the post office is open till 8.15pm ish. Was going to stop off elsewhere for a card and some groceries however when I saw their selection I picked up everything I needed here. Staff here helpful and polite. Keep up the good work!

Dirty doesn't open on time and poorly stocked. Whoever monitors post offices should be ashamed of this branch
Arrived at 1.50 and they were closed. Even though the shop it’s in was open. Laughable.
Although online stated open they will randomly close for breaks/ lunch with no notice or cover. Avoid at lunch times to avoid disappointment.
Visited this Post Office today and wish I'd of got the name of the lady who served me as she was really helpful and kind. Great customer service, put me at ease and chatted to me while I found my bar code etc. Will use this post office more in the future as first time using it today. Great work much appreciated
Advertised Saturday opening times are incorrect, arriving to a closed counter
Very rude staff been on a number of occasions sending parcels back but they complain about barcodes and say they don’t work. Need training in how to be polite to customers. Only 1 member of staff nice the lady who has worked in Asda a long time who I try to go to when she is there.
As the traffic was so bad, I made a detour to this store today to use the post office, but only after checking the opening hours on Google and the next 2 websites. All stated that it was open til 5.30pm. You've guessed it, it wasn't. I asked if if it had closed early just for today or if that was the normal. I was told that the PO always closed at 1pm on Saturday. I said that the website said 5.30pm. The owner told me I was wrong as he had personally changed them. I again stated that the website definitely said 5.30pm. He just shrugged and said no-way and continued his conversation with his colleague, so I left. This shop is not as good as it was under the previous owner and I'll certainly think twice before going again. Upon reaching home I double checked the Internet and I eventually discovered a couple that said it closed at 12.30 (also a wrong time, but they were about number 6/7 on the page.).
Filthy filthy could do with a really good clean staff are ok polite enough but could do with picking up a sweeping brush

Woman was rude when asked why they had shut early. No customer service, all I got is it is nearly Christmas and they needed to do admin. Had a feeling it was because they wanted to 'do the admin' and punch out at 4pm on the dot - way to show Christmas spirit! Very poor.
Rude elderly lady on the counter.
I arrived at the post office at 13:20. There was a sign at the till stating "closed until 1:30" and the clerk was stood behind the till on the phone. I decided to wait the ten minutes, as all I needed was to post two letters. I waited patiently for 10 minutes in view of the clerk and as soon as it reached 1:30 she looked over to me and rudely exclaimed "I'm going to be at least 30 minutes longer" and gave me a look as if to say "why are you still standing there?". There were at least 5 other customers behind me that had been waiting a similar time, so I said to the clerk that there was no need to be rude and then I turned to the other customers to relay her message - all be it, in a much more pleasant tone. She then said that the till was broke and she can't help it.

She had seen me standing there for the 10 minutes, along with the other customers but decided not to say anything until 1:30 on the dot. She could have easily said there was an issue when she saw us waiting 10 minutes earlier. She did not apologise for the inconvenience and acted as though we were causing her an issue by waiting. Her tone was rude and displayed no level of customer service whatsoever.
I find the staff here are quite rude they carry on their personal conversations and leave customers waiting. They are never welcoming and i havn't seen any of them smile at all.
I have two that im happy to go to ....a younger girl and one other lady but thats it.
I think personally the staff should undertake some training on how to deal with public in a professional manner.
One great member of staff. The rest are rude and don’t want to assist you. Very unhelpful, won’t put stickers on your parcels, and ask you to do it. Also parcels are left for ages before they are taken into be put in the bags. I try to avoid using the branch now unless there’s no other option
Nice bright and airy shop, good selection of produce.

Queues are small and manageable. Newsagents and post office with super helpful staff. After coming from London and the hell that is a crowded, unfriendly post office -pretty much always, this one is a breath of fresh air.
I don't have to psyche myself up to visit & book out a couple of hours. Id even go so far as to say, it's almost a pleasure to do my posting and sort my life admin here!
This is a great little post office. Recently it's been taken over so hopefully that is a good sign it will be around for a while. To park you need to use a side a side street which is behind and parallel to the shop. There is a sweet counter and lottery on the left then the post office counters at the back.
Without doubt, one of the worst Post Office's in Greater Manchester; for wheelchair access and in breach of the Equality Act, 2010.
