The staff were so very helpful during a difficult situation. Understanding and patient in assisting me after the death of my wife. Cannot thank them enough. Especially on lady and I wish I could remember her name. She went above and beyond

Every interaction I have had with the awesome employees at the Columbia City 1st Source Bank has been phenomenal. Great customer service and very helpful.

I went into this branch today, 5/1/24, to make a deposit and ask questions about my credit card. The staff at this branch were very friendly and knowledgable. I appreciated their help and assistance. One worker, Amanda, even assisted me by calling securities to help complete and authorize my card. All around, a clean and friendly environment.

Deb and Jennifer at the Columbia City branch were so nice and so helpful during our recent visits. Since my Dad died and I was hospitalized, they helped us get his accounts closed and transferred; getting the paperwork they needed while also accommodating our unique needs. I definitely believe and trust 1st Source. I only wish we could still get the South Bend Cubs checks.

1st Source Bank is lucky to have the crew they have in Columbia City the team there is amazing and go out of their way to help you I have never left their disappointed they are a great team. The bank manager is one of the nicest people I've ever met and very patient.

Everyone there is always so nice and makes me feel welcome. They are a great group.

Worked 44 years 5 months and 20 days to get financial safe, but when it comes to getting my money sent to a family member in an emergency situation, you have to jump through many hoops to get it there in a timely manner. Not what I expected from a banking institution that I've done business with for over a half century.

Have banked with them since 1996 & have always had the BEST service.

I bought something and returned it because i found an online coupon and wanted the money off my purchase. When I tried to rebuy it, my card had a fraud alert on it and was locked out from use. I was told the only way to get my funds unlocked was to go to a physical branch. It was a Sunday and banks aren’t open. I tried calling the next day and they said I still had to go to a branch. I’m as of now locked out of my card for the second day, because I work during bank hours and can’t come in. I’m unsure if I want to keep banking here.

I have been a Chase Bank customer for years. No matter which brach I go to, I have had great customer service. ATMs are pretty good and the availability is at most banks for after hours banking. A litte snafu is going on at the Columbia City ATM. It is not there. I hope they bring it back.. I see a lot of other customers leaving and telling me. I hope they get this fixed soon. I tried this last Saturday night. Not ATM.. just for grins and giggles, that Saturday while I was skiing in the parking just seeing how many customers tried the place with the hour of waiting..6 disappointed customers. I talked to a few of them who tried to see the ATM was moved inside. Nope. It is just gone.. I know of at least 7 disappointed customers. I am one of them. Please bring the ATM back for the Columbia City branch. Thank you.

Wasn't happy with no Saturday hours!

It is a bank, what can I say, banks are banks

Always friendly staff, they have had some turnover, but they have a couple girls and office personnel that have been there for years, so they are always ready to answer any questions. I have had both business and personal accounts and always been satisfied with the service.

This is BY FAR the best bank I've ever dealt with. They are so nice, patient, and caring. Everyone I've worked with in there has a positive attitude. The bank itself is nice and clean! If you aren't banking at 1st Source, you aren't banking.

This was the first bank I open an account with back in high school since then I did stop for a while and tried another bank but there customer service and Technical advances weren't up to Chase's quality. I work for a business close by and come in multiple times a week and they all know me by name, feels as if it's a family away from the family.

Love the people here they are so helpful and nice! Also free lollipops for kids and coffee for adults!

Very helpful and friendly staff.

Wonderful. Just wonderful.

Staff does not know how to change a pin on a business debit card. Had to return to the branch 3 times after being told by the staff to call 800 number. Then they found out they had to do it. Staff does not know how to wire transfer funds to China. Staff says they will not hold a small check but the next day there is a hold on said check. Hold time for this check was not just a few days but for 9 days. Very Very Poor training but nice people.

Came to Columbia city Chase branch bank to fax off about 20 pages to do a mortgage modification since my life has changed quite a bit in the last couple of months! Tried calling Chase direct on their 800# but I just don't have any luck with any of them ever helping me out & I've tried numerous times over the last 2 months, even different departments & get treated awful then they hang up on me! What a pain to have my mortgage through them anymore! Maybe things will get better! Update!! Not even a year later they sold my mortgage to a different mortgage company.

The tellers are nasty in this branch at least. My husband and I were having personal issues, and he closed the account earlier that day when I came in to withdraw and open my own account. The teller who attended to me made it seem like the account was still open, (maybe it still was at the time), and the lady who makes new account was still on phone at the time. While I was waiting, teller mary was gossiping with the other teller, Melanie? may be her name, and knew the account was already closed as she was the one to do just that for my husband earlier that day. I knew they were talking behind my back and I cannot be wrong as after being done gossiping as discreet as possible, they started talking a little bit louder for me to hear (to keep me from thinking they were talking about me, could probably tell I was looking at them) as if she wanted to take a peek at my baby (I brought him with me that day).'oh what a beautiful baby' Such a plastic!!! My point is, they made me feel like I was an idiot when before being attended by the lady who opens an account, they already knew it was closed out!!! Not a good etiquette for someone who does customer service!!! Especially the talking behind the customers back on work hours! Gimme a break, I swear in my life, you can't make me believe they didn't have malicious intent!! Grow up!!! I tried calling again after writing this review, and was explained this and that, that it was not their responsibility to let the customer know the account was already closed. I asked the supervisor, what if teller mary was counting cash in front me if I chose to withdraw, would teller Melanie have butt in to let mary know that that same account was already closed? She cant answer! Bottom line is, they made fun of me and allowed me to go on waiting like an idiot.. I also asked if I could post a review, the supervisor said yes. I just wanted to make sure that I let the public know that this happened to me - a customer. I don't wanna seem like I'm harrassing them by posting this review, but I just cant let this one slip and allow it to happen to other customers. You don't know what other people's going through, so please don't make fun of them!

Easy customer service. Laid back approach to banking. NOT pushy like some other banks (WF)

I don't have an account with this bank. I called this branch and spoke with a woman named Tiffany about cashing a retirement check I had received from Vanguard Fiduciary Trust who does have an account with JP Morgan Chase. I was asked the name on the check and the amount of the check and assured that with two forms of identification and and $8 dollar fee I would have no problem cashing the check with them. I drove the 45 minutes to get the the branch approximately 40 minutes before they closed on Friday. I presented the check to the teller, she asked me for my two forms of identification which I gave her. Then she asked me how I would like my cash back. Told her hundreds was fine and she explained to me that she would have to go in the back because she didn't have enough in her drawer. I waited for her, not bad only a minute or two before she returned. When she returned she had another woman with her. They ran the check through the machine and printed their stuff on the back of it. Then something rather odd happened. The lady that had came back with my teller told her to run it "all the way through" to make sure they could cash it. Then after a click on the computer she said "oh we have an agreement with them not to cash their checks". My response was are you serious, how can you have an agreement with a business not to cash checks written off of their account? Before I had even finished this sentence the lady that had followed my teller back from "the back" had briskly walked away presumably back to the back. My teller repeated the statement that they had an agreement with the business not to cash their checks and told me she was sorry and to have a nice day. She didn't give me a number to call, she didn't give any further explanation, just that Chase bank had agree'd not to cash checks written from Vanguard Fiduciary Trust. She did stamp the back of my check with a stamp that read "Endorsement Cancelled JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A." and told me I would have to deposit the check at my own bank.
The statement that comes with my check states very clearly in bold print not to cash before the date on the check, which the check was dated for two days prior to this debacle. I did drive the forty minutes to the closest branch of my own bank and had to deposit the check through the ATM because of course by this time all the banks were closed. After another 45 minutes back home I spoke to my wife who used to work for a Lake City Bank and she looked over everything I had, the statement and the pictures of the check I had taken. She explained to me that the only reason she could think of was that the teller and her lady from the back had tricked me. No where on my statement or the check does it state that you can only deposit it. And if the bank truly had some kind of agreement with Vanguard the teller should have given me contact information for the Vanguard account manager I would need to call if I had problems with that. My wife explained it something along the lines of the lady from the back probably explained to the teller that they only had 40 minutes left for the day and cashing that check would mean they would have to buy and sell from the back and the drawer and count and reconcile the back and the drawer. I guess its common practice to count and reconcile the back before closing time so they can get outta there early. So its not uncommon for a bank to say they cannot cash a check that is larger than the amount they have in the drawer because of the added hassle of the drawer having to buy the cash from the back and the back having to sell the cash to the drawer and both having to recount the amount of money they have.
Bottom line whether or not that is what happened or chase actually has some kind of ridiculous agreement with Vanguard, this branch of Chase Bank cost me approximately half a tank of fuel in my truck, lost time at my business, and lost time with my family. Tiffany, the woman who had taken my call could have alerted me to the agreement, or the teller could have simply done her job.

Met with Randy Hollar to discuss an opportunity and was well please with the depth of knowledge Randy had at the tip of his tongue.
