Absolutely appalling service, failed my friend massively leaving them without support due to CPN lacking in basic communication skills, not turning up to appointments, failing to disclose when on annual leave, and putting the phone down when asking for support. Disgusting service from all individuals of the team.

this service has done nothing but ruin my mental health. The dishonesty from the team is sickening, i’ve had the phone put down on me when i was asking for more help, they ignored me for months on end, i got left with zero help and had to do everything on my own. I was with them for a whole year, promised this that and the other, but nothing was given. I have lost all trust for any service.

Shocking services when you rely on them to prevent you harming yourself, they don't care, I had one psychiatrist tell me I was using her as a punch bag. .. baring in mind I'm autistic and introverted I haven't got a voice. Diabolical services, I actually pay for my own private Councilling now

I saw Chelsi yesterday, and she was so thorough, supportive and really listened to all my concerns. I'm at the beginning of my recovery journey, but I already feel reassured and supported. Thank you Chelsi 😊

Sick.of ringing up and never being able to get an appointment! Try in a morning,then try at 11 and every time they are fully booked!!!! Going to look for another doctors as these are beyond useless.

Just want to say a big thankyou to Dr Muir . He took the care and time to listen to my 83 yr old mom ,after 3 attempts at hospitals to get her treat .most caring, compassionate Doctor 🌷🌷

Following a recent emergency health scare I cannot thank the team at the surgery enough for their care and support. Follow up appointments with nurses and GP’s were and continue to be in place and very helpful , leaving me reassured that everything is being done and followed up. Well to be honest I have no words how to describe how poor and shocking the services is at park house and what they provide with patients who really suffer from there mental health problems. Nearly 10 years I’ve been with park house discharged once then went back to see if I could get the help I need due to hearing voices and yet again I haven’t. I have had multiple times where I’ve attempted to end my life multiple times in A&E. park house have messed my medication up on so many occasions where it’s left me suicidal which has caused major issues. My psychiatrist who I have been seeing for about a year never wants to listen to your struggles your suffering from then I’ve been without a CPN for months so I have had really no one to talk to and today 21 september 2023 my appointment with my psychiatrist was supposed to be a hour in which he cut it short. Which lasted 20 minutes but the letter says 1 hour. I have completely lost faith in park house adult mental health services and as from now on the best option for my self and anyone seeking help is to go private and find someone suitable for your needs because that place will end up making you worse or believing that your completely fine when in reality your not and in need of serious help.

I was able to get a much needed same day appointment.
I was a little upset and so was very grateful for the receptionist to take me somewhere quieter and give me 5minutes of her time to listen and put me in the right direction. There are some lovely young ladies on the desk but special thanks go to Kath. I hope you are there should I need to come down again !
It was also nice not to feel rushed by the Doctor.
I am rarely in need of an appointment but was made to feel at ease which meant alot to me.

So according to the GP, when you are not sleeping, feeling depressive, drink, and have an emotional meltdown in the consultation room, you need to evolve, become stronger, do your research and improve yourself. The receptionists are quick and efficient though.

Really annoyed. Just been sitting since 16:40pm waiting for my 17:00pm appointment with first contact physio
so after waiting almost almost an hour I go to reception to find out how much longer I could expect to be waiting to be told she had left and gone home.....she never even called my name out and best part is she's now on annual leave for a week 🤬

I’ve been a patient here since I was a baby and never had any issues, ever. Always really helpful, never any problems with my prescriptions and the receptionists actually listen and help you rather than other doctors surgeries I’m aware of. Thank you again!

I've been a patient of Moss Steet for a few years now and have had to visit on many occasions due to ongoing issues. All doctors are very approachable, as a female I do like to see Dr Telford who is fabulous. The nurses & HCA are fab too.
I have spoken to a lot of the reception team over the years and they are also approachable & friendly.
Definitely recommend this practice, thank you

Absolutely shocking service, doctors take you off medication without even seeing you, nurses can administer wrong injection’s without any repercussions, this place seriously need looking into, they cannot get away with what they are doing

I would like to publicly thank all the Staff and Dr's at Moss St Surgery for their Care and Cosideration. Been with them fir many years. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else. First Class.

My friend has called me hysterical after going to the surgery for mental health help and being laughed at and given the Samaritans number and told to stop wasting her time. So appallingly negligent. The female dr is abusive and should be investigated.

Most GP surgery’s have 1 star on google, because most are awful! This one is incredible & it deserves more than 3.3 stars in my opinion (even though this is actually high for a GP surgery).
I’ve seen all of the doctors here, and they are all brilliant, however Dr Telford in particular is my favourite.

When I joined the surgery, I had a phone call from her & it was just to go over my medical history and to ask if my mental health is okay due to my history of issues. I’ve never had this experience before when joining a new practice! It really felt as though she cared & it really did mean a lot.
They also contact me to inform me of my annual review, which I had done recently including some blood tests, usually GP’s forget about annual reviews because they’re so busy, so they never usually end up doing them!

I do have a lot of appointments with them and feel bad for constantly going back, but I seem to have so many health issues lately. The GP’s are all very understanding & approachable though, the nurses are also so lovely.

I especially like how patients are to call at 8am for morning appointments and 11am for afternoon appointments, it makes it so much easier, especially for myself who works nights & is never awake at 8am!

Overall, I can’t recommend this practice enough. The staff really care, even the receptionists are friendly & helpful. It should be the most basic standard but unfortunately, other practices & healthcare professionals are commonly not so great, so this one really stands out from the others.

I've been asking for help for my son ( for autism) the new doctor laughed at me and said everyone thinks there child is autistic..... Have paid private to get help now... And yes he is autistic.....

Only willing to listen to the school. Not to you ,your child and other consultant and specialists who have carried out tests and written reports. Pointless. If you take your child to the Dr's you get into trouble

The worst doctor surgery! Heath Hayes not chase medical.

Most doctor surgery are very supportive towards their patients and have a duty of care for patients.

This particular surgery Heath Hayes doesn’t, they just don’t care and have the attitude of ( it’s nothing to do with us )

A number of issues I experienced
-Extremely rude staff ( Reception staff )
-Booked me in a covid vaccine and then told me it was a 6 months baby check up
-Couldn’t offer an appointment or provide a prescription for a chest infection
-Wouldn’t see an ill child at 6 months due to no further appointments available for in the diary!

Finally called 111 and they still booked me a telephone consultation at this surgery!
Unfortunately I have contact CQC to have this place investigated as reading the rest of the review shows.

Don’t deserve a one star even!

I can’t fault this practice. They found my breast cancer in 2019, and have looked after me with any scares following that - including today when I got an appointment same day and was referred for an X-ray. That appointment is soon as well.

Absolute joke. Was trying to call from 5 to eight
because I’d heard how hard it was to get an appointment. User busy non stop until five past eight. Finally get through. Press 1 to use the automated system to book an appointment. Go through that process which takes me until about 8:03… ‘sorry, no appointments available’ I tried another four times and got the same response. Then tried called again for another five minutes to speak to reception instead of using the system. User busy non stop until 8:15. So I guess that’s it I’ll just not get an appointment even after calling exactly when they tell you to call. Ridiculous.

Can't get intouch with the service as number is not working

Receptionists think they are the doctors themselves handled my pregnancy appallingly, kept telling me it wasn’t their job to tell the hospital I was pregnant so wasn’t able to been seen by a midwife for months because they refused to do my booking form. Had to get the head of the midwifery department to do my booking form for me because even she couldn’t convince them that it was there job to do it. They even tried to refuse to stamp my MATB1 form only did it when I showed them in black and white it was their job to do it. Takes weeks to get any appointments with them to point I called for an appointment weeks later I got a telephone appointment and by the time they got round to me I was in labour and was just like oh well if you’re in the hospital get them to sort it out. Ive been with them a couple of years now and have just learned to live without my inhalers because I can never get an appointment with the nurse for a check up and my previous practice refused to let me have a repeat prescription so I can’t get hold of them at all. Complete joke.

Diabolical service for years....well before Covid. The mafioso way this surgery is run from the front desk to the docs is terrible. The appointment booking system is shocking. Trying to get anything from an appt to tests to a simple 5 yearly health check is horrendous. I went in for bloods to be done by nurse who was very pleasant but after taking bloods I said do u want to do other checks while im here thinking BP weight height blood sugars, BMI. She said like what? So I asked and got the weight BP BMI etc but she refused to do blood sugars saying it had tk be requested by a doctor. I have now moved to another surgery and the difference is night and day. So pleased to get this surgery off my back. Terrible.

This practice has been the best by far that my family have been too. The receptionists are so helpful and understanding and have always helped us when they can. Dr Hakim has gone above and beyond for my family if it wasn't for him we would of lost our little girl. The nurses and other doctors there always help to and nothing is ever to much. Again I cannot stress enough how much they have done for my family and fully recommend them.

Terrible service. Referered there for Phychology. Advised then of the terrible service I have had from previous providers and they treated me exactly the same. Spent 4 session with a phychologist to be told I needed to see her junior to get my anxiety down! Then someone else joined and wanted to sign me off after 4 sessions. And despite sending emails and telling them everything was being rushed and asking by email 4 times for the phychitrist to contact me to review my meds as they aren’t working had NO call! Told them I needed some time because of other health issues they just sent me a letter signing me off and put they will not respond to any emails or contact for me! All they want to do is get rid of you as quick as possible! How they expect 30 years of mental health problems do be solved in 4 weeks!

For 2 days running my husband has tried to get an appointment to speak to a doctor. Ringing constantly at 8am. By the time he gets through all appointments are gone. We have now paid £55 for an online doctor consultation and bought the anti-biotics he needs for a chest infection. When I went up to the surgery yesterday for a routine blood test there was not a doctor in sight, only one other person there to see the nurse. We are moving towards the American system of paying for your own medical care, just have not got the decency to tell us outright. Not fit for purpose.

The major downfall to this surgery are the incompetent receptionists, not all of them I might add but a few in particular. Patients are already worried about their health during their gp appointments, they do not need to be made to feel worse by the rudeness of the people who are meant to make you feel welcome. Clearly in the wrong Job if you think it's acceptable to treat people like this!

Honestly feel like I'm running around in circles one of the receptionists cut me off the line and told me they had no information about my prescription, a few phonecalls to a specialst team later and mysteriously my paperwork was found and I can grab my prescription in an hour funny how things work great if you love chasing phonecalls

receptionists are vile to you and really condescending and the doctors are even worse, they don't sort your problem, lie to you about whether they've done what you asked, lose important things like blood works, and treat you like an idiot. Extremely unhelpful in every way

Been registered here for years and it's been a disgrace every time. Go in to sort a home appointment for my mum since she has just had a knee replacement and cant walk and needs an appointment in a weeks time, to he greeted by the most arrogant woman I've ever met in my life. Not sure on her name but the elderly woman at the desk with blonde/white hair, needs to go!!!! Trying to argue with me that my mum can walk when she really cant. She can barely get in and out the car and yet you still want her to go to the doctors despite the hospital stating it needs to be a home appointment!! The attitude of the woman stunk and frankly I had to leave before I got worked up myself. The other woman at the desk however was lovely although didnt talk to her much

Receptionists are rude and can’t wait to get you off the phone without listening to what the issues are. Also found the majority of doctors incompetent except for Sara. Glad I’ve moved away so I can change practice
