The receptionist might have a language barrier, so I try my best to not let the way she says things phase me. However, given the many complaints & low reviews, I don't get why she doesn't try to change or improve. I walked in early in the morning, hoping for same day appointment. She immediately asked, in a nonchalant tone, "whats your problem?" (this can be seen as rude obviously) I said I have a cough. She said walk ins are all filled up. I think she filters patients, pick & chooses them depending on the doctor's time.

I have never been treated as poorly in medical care as this clinic. On one occasion, the doctor refused to help me because I spoke too quickly on the phone appointment, I'm neurodivergent and get very nervous, I told him this and he hung up on me. I have been hung up on, and had my calls ignored when trying to follow up on my referral paper work. Best to go some place else.

My family of 3 has been with Dr. Heer for the past year and our experience has been great. Today I had an emergency situation and needed to speak with a doctor, I was booked with Dr. Azer, and he was also amazing! Very professional and thorough. He had to consult BCW onsite OB for a specific medication and he was able to turn it around within 2 hours and got me the prescription. I don’t think all walk in clinic doctors can give you this level of care. Kudos!

Today we had an appointment and got a call just few hours before our appointment that it needs to be rescheduled because of the family doctor’s personal reason. We scheduled this appointment almost 3 weeks ago and i tried to reschedule with the front desk lady but whenever i ask for certain day to reschedule she just kept saying it is fully booked so i need to wait another 2 weeks to see the doctor. They also offered us 11am appointment on Saturday but i had something else so I asked if i can be there for 11:30am but they refused because it is “walkin” only😂come on it’s only 30mins gap. It was the doctor who weren't able to come to appointment and if u guys are trying to reschedule at least be more flexible with booking time. Obviously they wont even care about this review but I'm just leaving it here so that people dont fall for it

I had a great walk in experience here with Dr. Azer, very professional and he booked a follow up call for the week later for the results of my labs. If you’re looking to walk in then just plan on going 15 minutes before it opens (at 9am not 8am) and you will be fine.

I would love to give higher stars because I LOVE doctor Ubie. Most of the receptionists are cold and no one EVER answers the phones. If your Doctor gets something wrong on your prescription and the pharmacy faxes them……you will NEVER hear back. I blame the manager for not hiring more staff and training reception staff better. Here is a tip…..if you are not warm and friendly DO NOT do reception. They have more then enough money to rectify the situation and I see MANY complaints about the situation, so they are well aware.

My partner and I were accepted in this place with a doctor called Ubhi. It was a waste of time, the doctor treat us like stupid people and with a awful customer service. My partner and I will not let that doctor see us again and we do not recommend anyone to get into that clinic. Very bad service and very bad doctors there.

Additionally, I want to leave another complaint here because I want everyone to know how terrible it was to have a family doctor appointment with Dr. Ubhi. She treated my girlfriend like an idiot, told her that she had smarter patients and also told her that she was harming her body by using birth control pills. Terrible doctor and terrible treatment with the patient. MY PARTNER AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Dr. Ubhi is the worst doctor I have witnessed. I was looking for a new family doctor as my previous one only does phone appts. Dr. Ubhi rushed our initial appointment and didn’t let me finish my answers before going to the next question. When I told her about my digestion issues, she completely dismissed them and told me she’s seen many cases like this so she can’t think of anything to do to help me. Are you serious? She couldn’t even refer me to a specialist or provide me with any recommendations to what I can do. She simply said I’ll be dealing with it for the rest of my life…what an unempathetic doctor. I don’t know why she even chose to be a doctor if she can’t display any compassion for her patients. Selfish and rude. Also it’s impossible to get a hold of the receptionists on call. You’re better off not having a doctor at all or using google.

They always busy yet we can’t schedule an appointment despite going in two days in a row!!!! Told us to come back the next day for a walk-in but then they said there are no slots the next day! What gives? Maybe an online scheduling system would work better. Please do better, this is a terrible clinic experience.

Absolutely wonderful Doctor and team in his office. Well worth the wait to get in. Very informative, reassuring and kind in his explanations. Appreciative of his time, and highly recommend getting in to see him.

Dr. To was empathic, kind and on time. I will definitely recommend him to others seeking an excellent dermatologist!

Wasting your time booking with this clinic
Very difficult to get an appointment. Arrived at the clinic with an appointment and was told they will phone me. Later the receptionist said they will call me between a three hours range. But No one phoned. It is a walk in clinic only in the morning. Try going somewhere else.

Dr. Derek and the reception staff Vickie were both friendly and efficient. I was greeted by Vickie in a comforting and welcoming manner, followed by Dr. Derek’s professional and empathetic consult regarding my chronic eczema. He covered the details explaining the condition, the limitations and the possibilities. I really appreciated the fact that he took the time to listen to my symptoms and to see the skin reaction pictures I have been taking over the many years. I am a health care provider myself and there was not a single thing I could see my time here could have been better. Much recommended!

Cannot get a hold of this place. They don’t have an email and they don’t answer their phones. When you do call you have to go through 2 minutes of listening to an automated message and then you will be put on hold for a very long time. It is also hard to understand the receptionists over the phone.

On top of that, the first appointment will be at least a month out and it’s only a meet and greet. It’s not the Prime Minister, no one needs or wants that. It’s a huge waste of time (and Parking money) especially when there are real medical issues to discuss.

This is probably one of the worst doctors office I have ever been to. On multiple occasions Dr.Kelly has been COMPLETELY USELESS, she’s also probably the most condescending person I’ve ever met in my life. My first poor experience was in 2019 when I came in for a checkup and expressed how I felt utterly exhausted, and just something was off. She didn’t even send me for blood work and proceeded to say “you’re just a stressed out university student”. Fast forward 2 weeks later I end up in the hospital with such a bad case of mono that I developed a Bell’s palsy and had to be admitted. Pretty sure that could have been caught 2 weeks earlier… My second experience was in 2022 when I needed to get a prescription renewed and I phoned as I was in BC attending university. However Dr. Kelly wouldn’t renew my prescription as I was “out of province”. However I had already gone through my emergency refill and had two pills left. So I asked Dr.Kelly “well what do you suggest I do, I cannot just stop taking these meds” and all she kept repeating was “I cannot prescribe something if you are in BC”. Which okay fair but she didn’t even tell me next steps or something to do. Basically she didn’t care that I was going to be without my meds. Also I completely agree about all the comments about the receptionist, she’s absolutely awful and inhumane!!

The old receptionist is the most reason that I had to move my family of four after almost 10 years.
I wish whoever the owner is had a look at these reviews! Almost everyone is complaining about receptionist.

Yesterday on July 17 2023 had conversation with Doctor, I forget his name but was male Doctor ,, ,,after explaining him what is my health issue Doctor filled out MRI form for private clinic at Surrey MRI.
Told me how he will send it very next day aka tomorrow to MRI Clinic.
18 of July 2023 I called MRI Clinic that they received forms from Foothill med, clinic they told me no they did not received nothing , called back foothill clinic they assured me they did it and they will send it again.
Later on phoned again MRI Clinic and again they didi not received nothing , phoned back foothill med, clinic, that time front desk female employee was so frustrating asking me what is my problem , why I am calling them all the time , what is reason for me to call them, where I am from, cause she could not understand me.
finally she said if I need to do MRI than I should see another Doctor at another clinic

A mediocre doctor with bad attitude. He didn't even bother to check my skin issue and literally said less words than my family doctor told me. The reason we see a specialist is because we need a expertise of diagnosis and explanation of why. This doctor is utterly useless.

Like many of the other reviews, I think the doctor is really good (Dr. Khatra). He's thorough and considerate, which is what I would want in any doctor. The receptionists could be a bit more kind, as there is zero warmth to any of the interactions. However, having a good doctor trumps that, so I'll rate this 4/5.

The people at the front desk are so rude, I couldn't get to 1 appointment with my family Dr. and the staff told me the Dr. refused to treat me as a patient anymore. Is that even legal? They didn't warn me something like that could happen and they just did it.

Our doctor is amazing, very human and knowledge.
The receptionist are the worst, they will do everything to keep you sick, deny appointments, sometimes you get an earlier app on the website.
My son was sick and they said that were no spots or other doctor available because they don't do that for toddlers. that is DISCRIMINATION!

If you explain what is your emergency and ask for be in the waitlist they just tell you to go to a walk-clinic. Zero human side.

The staff at the pharmacy is the same, they provide an excellent service to their friends and people from their same community, I felt discriminated (yes, again) and they take too long to get your prescription ready.

They know that there are few doctors and the receptionist use that to humiliate and control people. Sadly the manager/owner doesn't do anything to fix this.

He is an amazing Doctor, for sure the best dermatologist in the Lower Mainland. Patient and very knowledgeable, I’m very happy with his services. Thanks Doctor To!

Absolutely incredible physician. He is patient, kind and really takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Incredibly patient and has an ability to put your mind at ease. The office is great and the receptionist is very polite and nice. Would absolutely recommend!

Dr. To is always punctual (RIGHT on time), always friendly, and was willing to look at another skin issue I had. The last dermatologist I saw refused to deal with more than one issue at a time, insisting I go back to my doctor to get another referral so she could look at another issue (no wonder our health system is so ineffective!). Bonus: his admin, Vicky, is friendly, warm and helpful. She always has a smile on her face and says she loves her job, and Dr. To openly shows his respect and appreciation for her… Best dermatologist and staff I’ve ever seen!

Dr. To is a wonderful doctor. He is kind and understanding and treats all your concerns. I had difficult keloids which are finally healing because of Dr. To's careful treatment. I purposely travel from the North Shore to his new clinic in Coquitlam just to see him! Also, the office location is very convenient and steps from the Skytrain.

I asked a simple question over the phone. ARE YOU TAKING WALK IN OR NOT. The chinese lady kept asking for the reason of the visit. I told her I rather talk with the doctor, but she kept asking for the details. It was a simple yes or no question.

As the reviews say the receptionist is not great. Never pick up calls and never calls back, short attitude. However the doctors are great so be patient. Been with dr deevska for 3yrs.

Receptionist is horrible here. She put me on hold for 15 mins(I could here they had casual chat with someone) and hung up. I called immediately and explained what just happened. She said 'okay so what...?!?!' Why you call today? I said it for my daughter and she said 'go to walk in clinic' . I asked her that she should explain what happened before or at least apologize. She said 'Nope Nope go to other clinic'

OMG. I like Dr here but dealing with front desk people is terrible. You guys should respect what you are doing. If this is not suitable for you, go find other job. I don't expect high professionalism but you MUST learn COMMON COURTESY

Dr.T is the best Dr. I have ever, ever encountered. He is compassionate, patient, knowledgeable & treats you like you matter.

He’ll explain things in detail & make sure you understand & if he doesn’t have an answer he’ll be honest about it & let you know that he’ll get back to you. This to me is so rare as most Doctors prefer to just give a guesstimate. I cannot emphasize how different he is & how amazing of a doctor he truly is. It’s a shame he doesn’t take patients but those who are able to see him for a drop in are truly lucky.

Thank you Dr.T for always going above and beyond.

My criticism for the clinic is their phone line & the busy signal, which you never hear anywhere else any more. I’ve been calling for 2 hours now & it’s been busy. Maybe get more phone lines since this is a place of business. Thanks.

Dr. T seems very knowledgeable, and good doctor. He spends lots of time to explain many things and tries to make patient comfortable.
However, front desk lady is not good attitude. She is always very overbearing attitude, and despite of her strong accent, she intimidated me like "if you don't understand me, I will cancel your appointment" or another time, when I tried to make an appointment, she rejected me as I don't have a family doctor. She doesn't understand that, I uses this clinic as I don't have a family doctor, and Dr. T seems good doctor. Also, she seems to think it's OK to be overbearing attitude towards patient, as patient is not customer.

Always running late and I have shown up for an appointment at 9 am but the doctor and receptionist don't show up until 9:15 am on multiple occasions. Although he is thorough he needs to either make his appointment slots longer or spend less time with each patient. Also showing up before your patients always helps.

Because this is not a walk in clinic and they do not except new patients, I consider this my family doctor. I give it 4 stars because the receptionist is very nice with no attitude, they are professional, I have never had to wait long in the waiting area for my appointment. I really like that they never tried charging me a fee for not making my appointment without notice. I only gave 4 stars after all that lovely stud that we all like about a doctors office, because I find the doctor, even though she's educated and I trust her practice, is not very sociable. I feel like I was just at a walk in clinic and that I will never see her again. Almost as if she doesn't want to take the time to know me and my son as her patients. I must say the doctor is polite and I will continue to go there. Thank you. :)
