I felt compelled to pen a review because I was truly impressed with the professionalism of the GP Dr Christie Chang I saw as well as the amazing front desk staff. It’s so rare to find a clinic in Singapore with both of these traits. Dr Chang was really patient and detailed in her examination and ran through a few scenarios and symptoms with me. The clinic assistants were very polite and caring and even offered me water to go with my meds which had to be taken before my meal. Needless to say this will be my go-to clinic from now.

Second time here, both times for my toddler. The wait is always reasonable and the docs and staff are nice. Glad to have this near home.

Dr James was very patient to explain my muscle tear and highlight to me what to take note. Show me graphic as illustration too. Shawn the admin was very good to help me open door

Went to Intemedical Potong Pasir on 2 occasions and both were pleasant experiences.

Did my first health checkup there and Dr Bennett conducted the screening- he was patient to explain about the different tests and the clinic staff efficiently helped to make follow up appointment for xray/ ultrasound. Subsequently upon reviewing of results, Dr Bennett also followed up and highlighted on results that needed attention.

After my first positive experience, I brought my mum to see Dr Bennett for consult and he was once again patient in explaining the issues to me. Thank you!

Intemedical has been my go-to clinic because I appreciate how attentive to detail the doctors are compared to other clinics.

However, my experience with the locum doctor today was an unpleasant one. I told him I had a bad sore throat since Friday and he didn’t bother to check my throat. Through my brief interaction with him, he seemed to suggest that I was just trying to get MC to skip work, which was uncalled for.

I suggest calling the clinic ahead to check which doctor is in next time.

Ingredients
2 ounces rice vermicelli
8 rice wrappers (8.5 inch diameter)
8 large cooked shrimp - peeled, deveined and cut in half
2 leaves lettuce, chopped
3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 ⅓ tablespoons chopped fresh Thai basil
Sauces:
¼ cup water
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons white sugar
4 teaspoons fish sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
½ teaspoon garlic chili sauce
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped peanuts

Step 1 :
Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil; stir in vermicelli pasta and return to a boil. Cook pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender yet firm to the bite, 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 2:
Fill a large bowl with warm water. Dip one wrapper into the hot water for 1 second to soften. Lay wrapper flat; place 2 shrimp halves in a row across the center, add some vermicelli, lettuce, mint, cilantro, and basil, leaving about 2 inches uncovered on each side. Fold uncovered sides inward, then tightly roll the wrapper, beginning at the end with lettuce. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Step 3:
For the sauces: Mix water, lime juice, sugar, fish sauce, garlic, and chili sauce in a small bowl until well combined. Mix hoisin sauce and peanuts in a separate small bowl.
Step 4:
Serve rolled spring rolls with fish sauce and hoisin sauce mixtures.

Great experience with Potong Pasir Intemedical. I had a severe allergic reaction last night where it blocked out my airways. Rushed to Intemedical Kovan as it was nearest to me but the very unprofessional staff at the counter just told me “sorry a lot of other patients in front”. Made a call to go to potong pasir instead as i was having a bit of breathlessness and trouble swallowing. Reached intemedical and was informed of 3-4 people in front of us but told them it’s fine because i felt slightly better. The front counter lady was very nice (drastic difference from kovan) and kept checking on me to ensure i was ok. Halfway through the swelling started and i felt a little light headed again so she spoke to the doctor and patients in front of me to let me get the shot administered first. Thank you for sincerely looking after your patients and for making this a pleasant experience.

Been a while since I last came here. Dr James Wu was great as usual. But the female receptionist was super rude and her attitude was uncalled for. If you are so unhappy providing customer service, then simply don't choose this role. Ruin people's day.

It is the only doctor and medical clinic in Singapore that lists a telephone number without answering. In a medical emergency, it is just frustrating to be calling them 100 times to no answer or engaged despite during their open hours. Can Dr Neo stand up to serve the community responsibly?

Very long waits, avoid if you can. Not sure why other patients take so long to see the doctor. Counter staff also take a long time to give medication after seeing doctor. Suggest to visit other clinics in the area

My husband just saw Dr James Wu at this clinic and we had such a pleasant experience. From the moment we entered, the receptionists were so friendly and welcoming. Greeted with a smile and with so much of patience.

During consult, Dr Wu was so gentle, kind and detailed in his explanations, didn’t feel rushed at all. This will surely be our go-to clinic.

the clinic opens at 6pm, but the male dr is not here at the stipulated operation hr.. instead all the patients are waiting here. whether its bad traffic or weather issue or whatever the excuse, shouldn't there be prior planning to ensure patients needs are looked after? this reflects alot on the drs attitude towards service and healthcare... thrs no need to apologize, we are not coming back. you shouldn't even be allowed to operate!

Clinic to be avoided when you are really sick, long queue, staff members at the counter are not polite , price is reasonable but overall not satisfy with the delay and services!

The staff is very courteous and supportive. Really quick in handling queries.

Dr. Tan is highly professional and helpful.

Visited the clinic for high fever and sore throat. Reception staff were friendly and the wait wasn’t long. However, my consultation with Dr Caleb lasted less than 2mins; everything happened so quickly and it didn’t occur to him to test me for influenza or covid (I did my own ART) since those two are on the rise. It’s been more than 3 days now and my fever’s still persistently high. I will have to seek a second opinion elsewhere.

Update: I was diagnosed with Tonsillitis after closer inspection by another doctor, which explains for the continuous high fever. As I recall, the doctor here did not check my throat despite telling him that I had throat pain. I was in so much pain the past few days due to his complacency.

Dr. Shanty is the nicest GP I’ve encountered. I’ve only seen her twice but for each time, she took the time and effort to explain everything to me in detail and in a comforting and calming tone. It’s obvious that she cares.

She’s not around in the night. She has little kids so let’s be human about that and understand that she can’t be in the clinic all the time. If you wanna see her, do make a call first or the night before to ask if she’ll be there. Cos I know people won’t usually want to see a locum.

Does not accept patients with cough, flu or fever. You should be ashamed of being in the medical field.

Went there for cough treatment and was told that doc doesn’t treat anyone with cough, cold and throat related issues. Omg!!! Is there such a thing after covid where doc can choose? Can’t believe it. Never again will go there

Dr Neo is super friendly and very very patient.

Dr Goh is patient and straight forward.

Not saying previously when there are only a handful of patients at the clinic, they have a total of 5 staff at the medicine dispensary/registration and it still took an hour plus of waiting time to collect your medicine as compared with other clinic which is like 5-10mins post consultation. Today I went there wanting to see for sore throat but was being told they don’t do consultations for fever, cough, flu, sore throat, etc. I then asked so what do your do for consultation? She mentioned rheumatism lol. Is this a joke or what? Hey come’on your are operating a clinic or a TCM? Common symptoms don’t consult what’s the point of occupying that shop space?

Nice and friendly Dr Shanti. Quite popular when she is working as the place packs out when she is there. Waited about 2-3 hours after 6pm for my first visit as I didn't know this. But glad to see a helpful, kind and consultative doctor when I did finally get to see a doctor.

She was unfortunately the only one working this evening so the queues of 20 patients took a while to go through.

Dr Shanty is highly recommended and my go-to GP ever since I moved into this area. She’s very knowledge, patient and kind. Although there was a long wait during my weekend visit, she even apologized for it. Highly recommend as a family GP.

This clinic is great only if you visit during the day. The medications are more effective than the ones around and stop cough and flu symptoms really quickly.

However please keep to your operating hours as stated if not then update them to an earlier time slot. The doctor wasn’t around the last 2 times I visited (at 7+pm) while the advertised timing is up till 9pm. I was told to leave.

For someone who is ill, walking over only to find it closed again and again, is really not feeling any better.

The clinic assistants are extremely impatient and unnecessarily loud and curt when talking to everyone who came in. Clear abuse of power.

Very experienced doctor, used to have a very long que to see him. Has become a little costly past few years, which also means less que and fast.

One of the worst attitude of doing business. Clinic opens 830am however I saw doc strolling in 855am and this is not the first time. Taking her customers time for granted literally.

Dr. Tan Kok Ying was friendly, nice and patient to understand my condition to give me the most appropriate treatment. However, I won't say the same for the 2 receptionists at the counter. Blatantly rude attitude and totally bad work ethics by commenting loudly about patients in their presence. Request for patients who have covid like symptoms to sit outside the clinic could have been done with more manners and politely instead of being loud and rude. I have feedback to Dr. Tan about them and she apologized for their attitudes and behaviours which to be honest is not really her fault... if these 'market auntie' attitude doesn't change, I feel worried for the clinic's reputation as I have read many bad reviews on the attitudes of the personnel in there over here.

My brother had his vaccination and felt ill and needs to get an urgent MC but since most of potong pasir clinc was closed he came here and they told him off saying we cant help you since u have a fever . So yall open clinic for what ? Should change your clinic name to just a surgery clinic instead of a medical clinic. This is terrible

0 stars actually. Worst clinic ever in singapore. The receptionist doesn't even know what she's doing. I tried other clinic they know how to handle my enquiry immediately. This receptionist is absolutely incompetent. And after she told me the price she give that sarcastic expression. Highly highly would not recommend this garbage clinic to anyone.

I did not see them for the whole last year. I was in good health.
I saw him last Tuesday, I appreciate their gestures. I was at my lowest self, they made me feel special and attend to my needs with compassion.

Waste time give u medication that can be brought at pharmacy, if I wanted meds I could get from pharmacy why would I bother visiting a doc.

Convenient doctor to visit if you are near by or need to see a doctor urgently. I found the charges to be excessively high, even with the maximum CHAS subsidy.

Went to the clinic 2 days back because i was running a fever 38-39C and having COVID19 symptoms. Was advised to go to PHPC clinics as advised by gov website. The clinic assistants were friendly. The doctor on duty was Dr Lim. Overall it felt that the doctor just want to get the patient out of the clinic and doesn't want to deal with anything too troublesome. Not a good experience and no confidence with Dr Lim. The good reviews in the posts here were probably referring to Dr Tan...

Long waiting time. Experienced doctor. This time round, I feel that I was not given enough attention but was just given general medications. So had to follow up elsewhere

More expensive than other GPs but medicine very effective. Short recovery time. Been seeing him for more than 10 years

Doctor is very calm when attending patient

I have been many times to this clinic and was treated with respect by the doctor. You might have to wait for your turn but otherwise everybody is doing their best.

Doctor is friendly and helpful with great advice

Waiting time is horrible!! 2-3hrs of waiting time for a neighborhood clinic is unreasonable. Patients register after you gets to see doctor first though it's not of any emergency. No queue number issued to monitor the sequence of next call. If were to check with the registration counter, they would bluntly cut off by saying "I can't count for you how many people before you. You just see for yourself." Wow! So much of attitude -.- Receipts are only issued upon request. I've blacklisted the clinic. No matter how feverish or sick AF I am, I will travel to a clinic that treats patient with respect.

Excellent experience. Office-friendly opening hours until 9:30pm, fast registration, no waiting time, very efficient consultation with appropriate medication, felt to be in good hands and well taken care of. Overall not too expensive as lots of other practitioners near office areas charge way too high rates in Singapore. Can highly recommend.
