The drive through Safari animals are lots of fun for both children adults. I fully recommend purchasing extra buckets of feed as the animals are very enthusiastic about the food and will take as much from you as they can. The safari is a long drive so we were out of feed half way through. The zoo part is nice as well. Overall it is a beautiful park and the landscape reminds me of Jurassic Park!

Great park. Incredible experience, very clean and all the animals look healthy and well cared for. Well worth the admission fee which was pretty significant. Get a bucket of feed, the llamas expect to be fed! Make sure to go through the walking portion for monkeys, cheetah, tigers, tortoises, budgie feeding area, goat and camel petting area, as well as giraffe, big birds, owls, and kangaroos.

I took my family there and we all loved and enjoyed it. It has great variety of animals including trip by feet to safari village and then drive through animal interaction. We loved having animals coming all the way to your car where you can feed them.

Seriously like the coolest thing I’ve done since I’ve moved to Virginia!! Million stars rating it was absolutely one of those once in a lifetime moments and at your own pace (own vehicle) and feed them without all the $$$ attached to any normal visit that you would find in that range. All animals seemed at peace and very friendly. Hope to go back one day!!

This place was worth the 5 hour drive. Got to spend time with these 2 beautiful white Rinos. It was beyond a once in a life time experience. It was worth every penny. Our guild was super helpful and very nice. Looking at the little Rino baby in the face, well, holding its face was worth as much a watching my child be born. I can't explain the pure love the little animal had in it. His mother gently rubbed her horn in my hand well touching her little baby. Honestly, this is a 6 star rating if it was possible. The trail is clean with lots of fun animals to run up to be fed. Very, very well taken care of animals. They all looked happy and natural it was very cool. We felt like 40 year old kids.

This place is super fun. The safari drive is a 3-mile loop road and took us about an hour, though you can certainly take longer if you’re enjoying viewing/feeding the wildlife. The walkthrough animal enclosures are also fun, especially the parakeets!

Our visit to the Safari Park was nothing short of amazing! I highly recommend getting your tickets online, and they offer a military discount, which is a nice perk. The best part is being able to drive through the 3-mile park as many times as you’d like, with countless animals to feed along the way!
The feed buckets are reasonably priced at $5 each and come with plenty of food to keep the animals happy during your drive. It’s an incredible experience to be up close and personal with so many different animals.
After the drive through, there’s even more to explore! We loved seeing the penguins, primates, and the additional goats you can pet. Feeding the birds was another delightful activity. However, the absolute highlight of our trip was feeding the giraffes. It’s an unforgettable experience and a must-do for the entire family!
Overall, the Safari Park offers a perfect blend of adventure, education, and fun. Highly recommend taking the family it was the highlight of our trip!

I’d been here years ago and I thought the visit was lack luster honestly. But today coming back to visit with my kids was awesome. I love the fact that once you pay for entrance you can drive through as many times as you want for the day. We went through twice! The safari village was great also but you have to walk through. Thank you park gods for putting so many sitting areas in the safari village to really admire the animals there. The monkeys and goats were my son’s favorite! Great cafe and gift shop! Can’t wait to comeback in the fall.

Seeing and riding the elephant Asha was awesome but the zoo is not as big as they claim you can see way more animals at the Richmond Va or Washington DC zoo but if your a elephant lover this is your stop Def a experience you can't get at other zoos when it comes to riding a elephant but that's the only reason I would go back is for Asha aka beautiful!

Haven’t visited this zoo since I was a child and to my delight it has much improved since then! Great variety of animals and lots to feed. Love how you can see everything so great. My 16m old also loved it.

After reading several online reviews, which I suspect were from odd-ball Peta wackos, my wife and I decided to see for ourselves what the Natural Bridge Zoo was really like. I can tell you the conditions were excellent, all cages and outdoor corrals were large, animal handlers were everywhere and I saw no evidence whatsoever of any animals mistreated or in distress.

The reviews had us extremely hesitant to take our nieces and nephew. However, we stopped by on our way through and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the fact that there were animals within minimal walking distance of each other. Yes, the animals are in cages, but all the animals appeared well taken care and the staff was friendly. A majority of the animals appeared to have adequate room to roam around. Our nieces and nephews appreciated being able to be so close to the animals. They were actually bored at the national zoo. So this was nice for them. We would recommend this as a stop if you’re passing by and want something to do with your little kids.

This stop was a spur of the moment decision. It's so worth it. We really enjoyed seeing all of the animals. It was fun to feed them. Feeding the giraffes was really fun. They have feed available at the front desk. They also have bird feed on sticks. These are for the bird aviary. When you go into the aviary, the birds will land on you and eat from the sticks, so cool.
On the weekends, they have elephant rides available, I would have done that.

An all around great experience. Lots of animals which were very close to view, and in lots of cases also to touch and feed. They all had water and food and clean living spaces. Nice gift shop and friendly staff. 3 hours of fun!

We had an amazing visit. All of the animals are beautiful! The zoo grounds are very beautiful and well kept. Lots of photo ops! The elephant rides were incredible!!! "Beautiful" was the elephants name, and my 5 yr old grandson got to feed her a pineapple after our ride! This is a must to visit!!!! This is a family owned zoo, which is not funded by the gov't. Support the local businesses!

I read reviews before coming and it made me a little weary. I was overall very happy with this little zoo. Not crowded, my kids got to see so many animals up close which was a totally different experience than big city zoos. It was $20/adults and $14/3+. Think of it less as a “zoo” experience and more like you’re going to see your friends crazy uncles sisters wild animal farm. People kept saying in other reviews how sad the animals were…. I saw no sad animals. There were many playful animals and if not playing, they were sleeping. And who isn’t happy sleeping?
