Placed an order on line and within the hour I recieved an email to tell me it was ready for collection. Great service.

If you're after a suit, don't bother unless you're smaller than a 42" chest and 34" waist. Absolutely nothing in store above that size. Very dissapointing selection from a store so large.

As a wheelchair user I found it difficult to get around inside the store as the racks were very close together. There were lots of items that I couldn't reach because they were too high.
I also couldn't access the men's or home departments, or collect the item I had ordered online because these departments were all upstairs and the lift was broken.

Great store located on the Ladymead retail Park outside of Guildford town centre, easily accessible from the A3.

The store is 2 floors with women's wear on the ground floor and men's on the 1st floor.

It stocks a large selection of clothing and has a home furnishing section as well (also on the 1st floor)

The staff are excellent, friendly and happy to help you.

The products they sell are reasonably priced and good quality.

Can be busy at weekends but it's worth a visit if you need some new clothes.

Lovely clothes, store could do with more staff. Had to wait for a shop assistant to serve us. Worth the wait, I live my new top.

Last 3 times I've been in there's barely any staff with one person manning the mens and home section on thier own, on top of dealing with online order collections. You end up queuing in one section before realising that noone is coming and having to join the end of another queue on the other end of the store.

If you're not using a till, atleast put a sign up so we know not to just stand there. Or better still, adequately staff your store, because it was obviously a very stressful situation for all staff and customers.

Looking for a new handbag & was fortunate to be told about this one at Whistles, Guildford didn’t have the navy but India kindly called round & located one at Lakeside. Received today & absolutely delighted. Can’t thank India at Guildford enough, for taking the time to locate it & for her lovely customer service, over & beyond.

I visited your store in Gunwafe Quays Portsmouth as I had seen a garment in your Worcester when I was
on holiday, which wasn't available in my size. The member of staff checked and found the size to be available in Guildford the phone line was busy when they phoned. Later I phoned and spoke to Anna, after checking found the sizes I needed to try. I asked if these could be held and I would visit the store the next day, this was agreed. I visited the store today and found the garment fitted so made a purchase and was told I would receive a further 20% off. Of which I was very pleased. I must say I was very impressed at all 3 stores of the helpful friendly and efficient service from the staff I received. And personally thanked Anna for her help when I visited Guildford store .

Very stylish, evan the Christmas cards, they are gorgeous. Beautiful things to buy, I didn't bought a pot because was to expensive, which in some way it's understandable by this time of season. I'll wait for the sales

Nice shop, big choice of good quality clothes and shoes, especially for kids, pleasant staff. Lots of space and good stock. It’s our favorite place for shopping kids’ clothes. I prefere their clothes over Mothercare or M&S. Very nice designs of clothes. Just bought a coat there and it is top quality like from the best tailor. Really impressed.

Best service ever!

Had a very disappointing encounter with one of the staff at the store today. Probably the second time I have been to the store in Guildford. Returned a pair of trousers that didn't suit me . I had already tried the 10 and had change to the 12 but still was not happy. So did an exchange. I have brought so many items from this company and have never had a problem of returning anything. Today after examining the items that had original receipt had only been off the hanger once when i tried it on in my bedroom. She scrutinized the garment and said she thought it was marked and had I been wearing it. I was so shocked she asked me that question, not only was it in front of another member of staff, but another customer. What was I expected to say to such a comment, other than deny it. Her attitude was rude and her comment was uncalled for . I have worked in clothing retail and i understand that members of the public can try all kinds of tricks in bringing garments back. But when I pay over 50 pounds or more for items of clothing i don't expect to be asked such a question over a microscopic mark, that not only I couldn't see, but could have so easily have been there before purchase.
At the same shop I tried a sweater on which had a pull on the wool and a small hole that put me off purchasing it, which then makes me question quality control in the store itself . I feel unless there is something obvious a stain or significant tear your staff she not only be careful before they challenge the customer but have a diplomatic approach . I probable spend over a 100 pounds every couple of weeks at a White Stuff Store or internet, but I won't be going back tot he Guilford branch again.
