I would like to tell the story of my son and warn everyone to be careful if you want to send your child to this school.

Somewhere at the end of May or at the beginning of June, I visited Austrum Academy to find out if they would agree to take my son to first grade.  The fact is that my son is autistic.  I explained that he has behavior problems, but otherwise he is a completely normal child, at least not withdrawn.  In general, the main two problems are behavior and nutrition.  They told me that they would gladly accept him and that I should not worry, because they have extensive experience working with different children and that everything would be fine.
The child was waiting for September, when he would go to a new school.  And then September came, we went to school and were surprised to discover that they categorically did not want to tell us how he was doing at school.  After the end of the school day, he was taken out onto the porch and all attempts to talk with the teacher and find out how he was doing were refused.  This is quite strange considering that the child is unusual and it is advisable to maintain communication between teachers and parents to help the autistic child adapt to the new school.
And so on October 23, we (his Mom and I) were invited to a conversation with the teachers and owners of the school.  They approached us with a request for help in solving the problem of bad behavior (surprise) of our son.  Which they decided to talk about only after they themselves could no longer cope.  They said that he would like me to try to bring him to school in the morning instead of his mother, since the presence of his father could have a positive effect on his behavior.  Of course, I agreed, especially since I had the next two days off.  Both the first and second days went well.  I noticed that my son is spoken to too much like he is a baby.  I decided to call and ask them not to talk to him like that, because it seemed to me that this way of talking irritates him and this could be the reason for his bad behavior.  To which I received the answer that they are professionals with many years of teaching experience and will not listen to my advice.  As a result of the fact that I was endlessly interrupted and not allowed to finish the thought that I was trying to convey to them, the conversation ended in a raised voice.  After which I decided to delegate all communication with the school staff to my wife, since I cannot calmly talk with people who constantly interrupt the interlocutor and let you know that they are not going to listen to your opinion.
The next day, my wife took my son to school and at the end of the day she was called to pick up her son and not bring him back.  Simply put, they kicked the child out of school as revenge for the inappropriate tone (in their opinion) of the parent when talking to them.  Of course, I was outraged and thought that it would be possible to complain about this educational institution to some municipal education regulatory body.  But as it turned out, private schools are not regulated by the state and, in fact, they do what they want.
I would love to give this school -5 stars, but alas, this is impossible.
Fortunately, after three weeks of being at home, we managed to find a school that he enjoys going to.

I went to this school for high school and I had such an amazing experience. The teachers and staff are very hands on and they care for their students deeply. I struggled frequently with math and science at my old high school but when I moved to this school I was able to improve my grades significantly. The lessons are taught in a way that is easy to grasp which then results in students success. A very kind and warm environment :)

Worst school in Toronto. There is no supervisor or a how to do coordinator. Mismanagement is all over the organization and there is no one to respond to your questions and concerns. There are barely responses to the emails. Almost a hidden and none-existence school with multiple names.

As a student of 10 years that has recently graduated I can say that it is a good place for learning.

All the kids who graduated,got scholarships in universities!!!

This school is great. I've been here my whole life until grade 7, and I loved every single year of it. The teachers are nice and my favorite teacher is Ms. Angela because she's so kind and very helpful.

What a great school! Our daughter truly enjoyed all of the classes, especially math, chess and karate. The teachers created very safe atmosphere for the kids and the kids never wanted to miss a day of school. Our daughter fell in love with math here and is not afraid of higher levels of it, she even feels excited to advance in it. Thanking all of the teachers, as the staff and, of course Molly ❤

I'm in Grade 12 graduating from this school, and I have enjoyed it. The teachers offer great help with subjects, adapting to my or other students' needs. The course lessons are exploratory, the assignments are interesting, and various amounts of hands-on work and research have always kept me occupied. Overall I've had a social, educational, and helpful experience moving through and out of high school!

This school is like a second family to my son. Teachers are very knowledgeable and attentive. Classes are small, which allows teacher to give more individual attention to the kids. The level of education is very high. My son told me several times that going to Astrum has been life changing to him. Huge thanks to the school!

When Astrum first opened its doors, I assisted with the curriculum development, even teaching some of the English language and social studies classes for a short time. The directors of the school are 2 of the most generous and kind individuals I have met. They go out of their way to accommodate all the various learning styles, often spending more time and energy to provide excellent experiences for their students. I highly recommend Astrum if you are looking for your child to receive personalized and individual instruction in a cozy setting. I know the school will see great success in the coming years!

Quantum Academy was an unforgettable and rewarding experience for me! Teachers are super caring, the environment is conducive to helping me learn and the quality of education I received is very high and prepared me extremely well for university. I am greatly appreciative of all the guidance and education I got from my years at Quantum and recommend the school to everyone who wants to be successful in academia. With the help of Quantum I was able to get in and stay in my dream school, McGill University. Not only that, but the work ethic, guidance, skills and knowledge I learned from Quantum drove me to pursue a PhD in Physiology and teach lab courses at McGill. If I hadn’t come to Quantum for high school, I wouldn’t have become excited about science and discovered and pursued my passion for academia and teaching. Thank you a million times Quantum Academy!

My kid has been in RHMS since JK. Here is just a like a big family, all teachers and staffs are very dedicated. We are really appreciated that RHMS provide a positive and progressive environment for the students. Offering our kid very strong academic and character achievement. Especially in academic, RHMS has really strong reputation in the system. That’s why he could have the opportunity to get offer from UCC. This honour is not only belongs to us but also belongs to RHMS. Again, very appreciated everything RHMS did for my kid and our family.

RHMS has a rigorous academic curriculum that ensured that both my children were well prepared when it came to to put through applications for continued studies elsewhere. I have had the pleasure and privilege to have been a part of this wonderful school in many different capacities-including Registrar, Vice-Principal, and Gym Teacher, beginning in 1994 and only completing my tenure in the new year 2021. This long time frame and the varied roles, have given me a wide and thorough perspective of the dynamics of all areas of the school.

As such, I could share an unreasonably long post of positives, instead I want to focus on what has impacted me the strongest.

This is a school where individuals are treated with respect, care, appreciation, guidance and kindness-students, staff, parents- every member of the community. This is what will always stick with me.

All of the great qualities of the school-high level academics, the STEM program, the integration of technology, the overall balance of the program (strong in the arts and physical education) would be meaningless without the respect and care people are shown each day. It is a truly wonderful group of administration/educators who ensure that this special quality always remains constant.

When you walk in the doors you can feel the positive energy right away and when the wonderful children are immediately heard and seen politely and warmly giving such friendly greetings and of course the staff as well, you know that you’ve walked into somewhere special. I will miss this part the most.

I think back to talking with parents on the phone and answering the many questions and at the end of each conversation encouraging those families to simply come see for themselves. I knew that nothing positive I said would not also be seen when they came to visit or actually joined the community and this was exactly the same for staff, when I was involved in the hiring process-I knew when they became a member of the school they would see that all the positive descriptions were completely accurate.

I am happy that there is a venue like this one (reviews) to share in writing what has, for so many years, been in my heart and mind and always will be.

Excellent school with advanced school curriculum ( my kids are grade 1 and JK), exceptional teachers that genuinely care and teach kids and want to see the great results. Great foundational education for kids! Great and professional staff!!!

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Be very careful. Do not trust this school and its officials at all. We accepted our child from this school a year ago and the school principal received the full tuition from us. But a few days later, three of my friends told me that this school was not good. And we gave up on our decision to send our child to this school. And we told the school principal to return our money, but he refused to return our money and even threatened me a lot. I had to sue the school principal with the help of a lawyer, and after a year he deducted 17% of our money and we paid a lot of money for the lawyer.
Mr. Mehrdad Sabouhi is the director of this school who works only for his own personal benefit and has no educational goal at all.

نكنيد . ما يك سال قبل براى فرزندمان از اين مدرسه پذيرش گرفتيم و مدير مدرسه تمام شهريه را ازما دريافت كرد . ولى چندروز بعد؛سه نفر از دوستان من به من گفتند كه اين مدرسه خوب نيست. و ما از تصميم خودمان براى تحصيل فرزندمان در اين مدرسه منصرف شديم. و به مدير مدرسه گفتيم كه پول ما را برگرداند ، ولى او حاضر نشد كه پول مارا برگرداند وحتى خيلى من را تهديد كرد. من مجبور شدم با كمك يك وكيل حقوقى از مدير مدرسه به دادگاه شكايت كردم و بعداز يك سال ١٧٪؜ از پول ما را كسر كرد و ما مبلغ زيادى بابت هزينه وكيل پرداخت كرديم . آقاى مهرداد صبوحى مدير اين مدرسه است كه فقط براى منفعت شخصى خودش تلاش ميكند و اصلاً هدفِ آموزشى ندارد.اصلاً به او اعتماد نكنيد

I would highly recommend Quantum Academy! they provide an environment that allows me to learn and study in a stress free environment while promoting affective studying habits. The teachers are excellent at making sure you understand what they are teaching as well as providing help when needed. Going to quantum was one of my best decisions and i promise you wont regret going!

Great environment - my daughter has been a student since grade 1 - till now grade 5 . We went to get tested on math by an independent organization and her level showed a grade up based on the government recommended tests. There are options for the after school programs : drama, chess, gymnastics and more

I worked at RHMS for almost 20 years as a co-teacher. I recently retired, with mixed feelings I must say, because it was such a pleasant place to work for!

During my tenure at RHMS I observed that children were educated in a professional and caring manner, and most parents were satisfied.

The school campus is new and spacious, and the staff are approachable, friendly and receptive. And the school owners are great.

Based on my personal experience spanning two decades, I can confidently say that this is one of the best private schools in the GTA. I would highly recommend RHMS to anyone who is considering private education for their children.

I am very satisfied with this amazing school, my son has serious medical conditions and they went above and beyond to help and support him to put him back on the path of succeeding academically. I remember first time when I made an appointment with respected Mr sabouhi the owner of school , despite of his very busy schedule , they met us and went beyond my expectations, he even shared his life story and many more to ensure my son makes right decision in life. My son has been going there for while which helped him in so many ways and he is very grateful and appreciate of the caring and professional service that he is getting from owner , manager and all teachers and staff. I would definitely encourage all parents to choose this school for their loved ones for definite success.

I would definitely recommend this school to all students! Quantum academy has such a friendly, welcoming, family-like atmosphere with teachers that are caring, professional and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of working at RWS for two semesters. It is filled with both wonderful teachers and students. They offer a great learning environment. As a teacher of almost 15 years, working for the school board and in different private schools, I must say that I truly love this school! It has a positive working environment, were the principal is supportive and a wonderful group of teachers that work well together. The students are competitive, which I love, because it helps other students around them be the best people they can be. They are motivated to learn and in my opinion, they are probably the most respectful and well mannered students I have ever taught. They made sure that I understood the material in all my classes and are always ready to answer my questions and clarify anything that I may have misunderstood. I have been studied at RWS school since September 2016. RWS has a very reasonable tuition in Richmond Hill and can't be compared with other schools.

Respectfully all of the students have been graduated and accepted by Universities in Ontario this year.

The staff and principal are so kind and help all of the students untill they graduate from the school. Very strongly I recommend this school to other students.

I know from personal experience that the staff at Richmond World School are very friendly and professional. All the teachers are highly experienced and do a great job accommodating to every students individual needs. Environment is encouraging, clean, and tidy and the great prices are a bonus! Would recommend to everyone I know.

Two of my kids go to RHMS and they love it. Staff are professional, passionate and well-rounded. The school has great facilities that allows the kids to learn in a well-balanced school; academics are just as important as play time. Definitely one of the best schools I have went to. A pleasure to have been given the chance to learn from the best teachers in Ontario; and would recommend anyone to visit the school.

Our 2 girls are at RHMS for last 4 years and we all are very happy. It is not only highly academic but also has helped them to develop their other skills , public speaking, music, mentoring, team sports. Art program is amazing. Both my girls love art room a lot. School environment is very friendly and so far we are happy with all the teachers. No bullying. School certainly is striving to do better and better. school food policies keep junk food under control and helps kids to make healthier choices. Technology is used to well in classrooms to supplement the education not overtaking it.

My son and daughter are in this school and they are getting excellent care.
My son is one full grade ahead of his peers and very strong in math and English.
When I meet with my friends who have kids, they are not even dreaming of ever getting close to what he knows.

I love this school. The teachers are knowledgeable and staffs are very friendly and helpful. You hardly experience this in a public school. They charge $850 per course ($50 discount per extra course) which is reasonable compared with most private schools. I was introduced to them by two of my friends who are now studying at UofT and Waterloo. They said universities accept FutureSkills’ marks without deductions because they don’t inflate marks like cheap private schools. I would recommend them.
