My daughters started here at 2.5 years old and are now 4.5 years old. They absolutely love it, look forward to going here, and are learning so much.

We have been meaning to write a positive review for some time, but the Covid pandemic has truly highlighted how incredible The Montessori House is. At the start of the pandemic when schools closed, everything was unknown. The way the Montessori House handled things could not have been better. From announcing they would be giving a tuition refund for each week the school was closed, to hosting Zoom classes 3x/week and holding a summer session to make up for lost time, we have truly appreciated their quick and appropriate actions.

Ms. Maria's Zoom classes have been the highlight of our daughter's week over the past couple of months. During the school closure, Montessori House offered 9 classes a week (3 classes per day, 3x per week for about 45 minutes) in various areas including story-time, movement, science, art and cooking. These Zoom classes were both educational and fun. It is amazing how well Ms. Maria is able to keep the attention of a virtual class full of 3-5 year-olds. The enthusiasm and energy she shows when leading the kids through their "movement" class (dancing to kids songs) is incredible (especially considering she does the same song 2x per class, several times per week). These classes have given me a glimpse into my daughter's day, which has further cemented that we made the right decision in sending her to Montessori House. She normally doesn't tell us much about her day - we only hear what was for snack and which games she played on the playground, but It is evident that she is learning a tremendous amount and having a ton of fun doing it.

My daughter is beyond excited to go back to school next week (with very strict safety precautions) and she is as excited to see her teachers as she is her friends. I have spoken with many people who's kids are in similar situations, and this seems FAR from normal.

This morning, as card came in the mail from one of her teachers which was sent just to say hi to my daughter and tell her that she was missed.

Montessori is not inexpensive, but we love it and it is worth every penny.

I used to come here when I was about 1,2 or 3 and currently attend the Spring School. This provided excellent Montessori education for me and helped me become the person I am today. If you have a younger child I strongly recommend a Montessori education and this is the best place I can recommend!

Both of my children love going to school , they couldn't be happier . As a parent the Montessori house, has been a wonderful experience, they make you feel like one big family, and give great care and take time to teach each child.

Great first school for any child. Great team of teachers. Mrs. Maria is a very caring, dedicated and organized teacher as well as a manager. Our three children all had a positive experience and learned a lot. Highly recommend if you live around Tenafly.

We are very happy with the feedback that we receive from school. All teachers are very responsive when we try to communicate with them. Overall, my daughter is having a very pleasant experience in school. She's only in 2nd grade and she's already learning about The Periodic Table, so the amount of knowledge she gets for her age is beyond limit!

It is my child's first year here, and he absolutely loves it. My goal is for my son to love learning for life, and this school definitely accomplishes that. The director and teachers have a passion for teaching, and it's very apparent via the teaching methods and overall environment. My son is 7 years old, and he has already learned half of the periodic table, the solar system and the big bang theory. It’s all about hands-on learning, allowing the kids to enjoy the topics they learn and absorb it that much more. The teachers are always creating innovative methods to teach, and learning is not a chore but just plain fun. My son absolutely loves going to school and is always so excited about everything he is learning. The homework reinforces basic principles and topics they have learned, while the works in the classrooms push them forward. We plan to have our son there until 8th grade.

Our first grader is thriving academically and socially. The curriculum is challenging and vigorous, on par or stronger than some of the best private schools in the area. The teachers are wonderful, supportive and encouraging.

My daughter just started Preschool this year at the Spring School and so far I am very, very happy with the environment and with the teachers. She is learning a lot, and enjoys school very much. The teachers in my daughter's classroom are very nice and my daughter has learned many new things. Ms Debbie is very approachable and very nice to work with, very accommodating and focused on the well being of the kids, and making sure the parents are comfortable with everything.
I'm so glad that I chose the Spring School for preschool for my daughter!
