Pretty average school

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School has a wonderful and solid community! We see how our children are loved and valued here. This school delivers impressive and sustainable results. The teachers and staff are involved and truly care about the children who attend this school. They are focused on the child's mind and spirit.

I graduated from the Charleston Catholic School in 8th grade, and I started attending this school in 1st grade. Every year I had a great experience. Every teacher I had was nice and helped me out when I struggled. One thing I loved about CCS was the variety of arts they offered, such as band, drama, movement (dance), writing, and other clubs and classes. This school also offers different sports like basketball, volleyball, golf, tennis, and more. I love how I was able to express my faith at this school, which not many schools allow. Every grade has a religion class, and it was nice to pray with my peers. The academic levels of this school are high, as they offer Algebra 1 and Spanish 1 to 8th graders, and they attend the Beta Club Convention in Myrtle Beach, SC. Different students excel at different levels, and this school helps with that. Overall, your child should certainly attend Charleston Catholic.

Love the family feel and religious environment. Great place to entrust your child's rounded education.

I have several friends who put their kids through this preschool and loved it. It can be hard to turn left out of the parking lot because Folly Riad is nuts. Try turning right and doubling back instead of turning left.

God is working through this school.

Most caring teachers- Incredible experience for our children! We came to Nativity School after just moving to this State, and we travel quite a way to attend this school. We chose Nativity over all other schools because of what we had read about the caring staff and Catholic values. We are so glad we did. Principal Dukes, Patty Edwards and the faculty are so wonderful. The parents have been welcoming and the students have been kind. The sense of community and focus on Catholic values (of service, compassion, solidarity, humility) are a daily reaffirmation that our children are at the right place. They are educating the whole person and we are grateful for this school and their commitment to our family. Their Thanksgiving celebration is incredible too!

Awesome school. It's a great environment. The school is small, but the school is great. The students are nice and well-behaved, the teachers are good and helpful, and the faculty is great. I have learned a lot at CCS. There are also great art classes and special electives such as creative writing, drama, an awesome band, and a yearbook club. We also get to use school iPads which help a lot.

A wonderful, wonderful school! Our children grew and developed so much in the time they were there. The teachers help the kids develop into confident, independent and joyful people. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. I cannot imagine a better environment. Many of my friends and colleagues have sent their children there as well, and this school is universally loved by everyone who has used it.

I can not believe that they accepted my son into the school, he met with the teacher and was so excited about attending, then 3 days before school starts, the headmaster sends me an email stating that he will not be able to attend after I paid, and signed all paperwork! I lost the deadline to sign him up for other school! I called the headmaster and never received a call back! I will be seeking legal action for damages and discrimination! Absolutely horrible! Now I have to find another school and he will probably miss his first week of school!

We could not have asked for a better atmosphere for our daughter. Faith based teaching by teachers who not only care about the subject matter but also about the children and their Faith. Just a stellar group of people from the top down (parents too).

Great school for our Daughters! Teachers really care about their students and the office staff is very friendly and professional. Christ centered education is excellent and my daughters love it there.

Have 2 kids attending BSCS. It's great and they love it. Small size is a plus; Feel like I get to really know the teachers and they are always available via phone / email. I've gotten to know the other parents and have made some great friends. I'm impressed with the academics as well and feel the religious and Catholic education and values they learn there is invaluable ; If the latter is not important to you than of course send your children elsewhere.

Our children are academically challenged and receiving an excellent education at BSCS. At the same time, the school encourages spiritual growth and teaches students to be caring and compassionate Christians. We are very proud to be apart of this school family. The faculty, staff, and families are the best!

I was here for 3 years and they were the worst years of my academic life. You have two options: conform completely or be an outcast. Students get punished for the most ridiculous things and many of the middle school teachers are really just mean-spirited (how Christian!). There's no transportation to and from the school and it's pretty much a waste of money to pay tuition for the nonsense students and parents will have to put up with. Just send your kid to St. Andrew's Math and Science or Mason Prep or Palmetto Scholars Academy or something and let them do outside Catholic education.

My daughter currently attends Blessed Sacrament School. She just loves it! While she is getting a solid academic foundation she also has the opportunity to participate in a variety of community service projects, music classes, sports, and religious activities. The after care program is hard to beat. It is very well run and a trusted asset for any working parent. We are very pleased with the school and will continue our daughter there.

Choosing Charleston Catholic School for our child was the best parenting decision we have ever made. The small class size and terrific teaching staff foster an atmosphere that both nurtures and motivates. The kids average one to two grades ahead of their class on national standardized testing. As an added bonus, the parent base is wonderful and active. Your kids will make instant friends - and so will you.
