As parents, we were drawn to Spring Academy because of the credentials of its leadership and faculty, the school’s accreditations, and that it is a local school tied to the community. After enrolling our child, we can now say first-hand, that Spring Academy is a wonderful school that provided the “just-right” supportive environment and academic structure our child needed to thrive again after a medical setback and because the traditional school setting did not work. I encourage you to meet with their amazing principal and teachers. This is a really special school.

We found Spring Academy during a stressful and chaotic time for our family-especially my 9th grade son. From the first time we met with Frank and Rob, they were kind, calm and non-judgmental and we knew our son would be in good hands. He was productive and successful in finishing out his 9th grade year. He worked hard and learned a lot- he was able to move quickly at times but also ask questions and remediate as needed all due to the one-on-one learning environment. His teachers were patient and flexible as there were times he had to work remotely. The Spring Academy is a great concept and all cities/school districts would be lucky to have something similar. We plan to use them again for tutoring or summer school. Thank you Spring Academy for working with our son & family!

Brightmont Academy is the most welcoming, caring, and effective school my son has experienced. Because of their one to one model, each teacher gets to know each student they work with and can adapt and challenge as appropriate for that child. The environment is calm and professional and the director is knowledgeable and flexible to the needs of the students.

Fusion has been a super positive experience for my child, who was suffering from anxiety and depression after a big move. Fusion's personal attention, philosophy on grades, and supportive, inclusive environment enabled my child to really blossom and it has been truly wonderful to see. As a parent, the teachers and head of school are personal and attentive to my questions. Bottom line- they met my child where he was at and it has been so wonderful to watch him fluorish!!

My son went to Spring Academy after struggling in his freshman year of high school. Spring Academy not only brought him up to speed, but he excelled and now loves learning! He graduated in 2021 and was accepted to the college of his choice. I couldn't be happier with my son's education and the fact that Spring Academy gave him confidence in his academic ability. I would recommend this school to anyone!

Fusion Academy was a very positive experience for our son. It challenged and promoted growth and confidence while teaching executive functioning skills that we found to be missing in modern education. The teachers are amazing at connecting with and motivating the students. We are very appreciative of their individual effort and that of the school as a whole. On to college!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Spring Academy. Their assistance in getting our family set up for additional academic instruction for our daughter was incredible. I was met by several people along the way who made this process seamless and efficient while also making us feel so welcome to the program.

All of the people my child and I worked with created a very safe and happy environment which resulted in a great place for learning. My daughter loved her time working with the instructors, the process of enrollment was made easy for the parent(s), and we were all so elated to see how much she had improved in areas with which she was struggling!

Our family has had an amazing experience at Fusion. The staff has met our child where he's at and have offered the utmost support and encouragement in a very nurturing environment. They are holding him accountable without being punitive. For the first time since preschool, he's liking the school environment. He still has struggles but we're going in a much better direction. We're very hopeful and grateful that he's going to finish high school a year early. The staff is outstanding and truly receptive. This shows in his continually improving attitude and great social skills. Thank you Fusion, you have been a game changer!

My 16 year old son has been to a lot of schools since he first attended pre-school. Each one worked until it didn't. With Fusion Academy, it seems we have finally found a school that will see him successfully through his high school years. Not only is he getting a really good education, but the curriculum is personalized to his needs and interests. Moreover, I love the daily reports that are sent to parents which give me a quick view into what my son is working on each day and the overall responsiveness of the staff when questions or issues arise. I cannot say that he loves school any more than in the past (he is 16 after all). But I also cannot say enough good things about our experience at Fusion Academy. Thanks!

My daughter has been thriving at Spring Academy since she started Spring quarter in 8th grade. With the extra attention she receives from her teachers, her grades have improved significantly. She gets along well with her teachers and I appreciate that the staff is responsive with communication. It was especially fortunate during the closure of schools due to COVID-19, because Spring Academy was able to transition immediately and seamlessly to online instruction. Instruction time is very efficient, so even with a fully loaded schedule, she spends only four hours per day, two days per week. That allows us to have more family time together and for her to pursue other interests outside of school. I recommend Spring Academy for students who have a hard time focusing in large class sizes and who could benefit from on-on-one instruction.

Our daughter has attended Spring Academy this past school year. She was behind academically at the end of 8th Grade and needed more attention than she had received in her previous school. What attracted us to Spring Academy was its one-on-one tutoring which is what our daughter really needed. It has been a great experience and she has made great strides in catching up, even in math, her most difficult subject that she has struggled with. The staff have been incredibly supportive, and responsive if there were any concerns. We have no hesitation in recommending Spring Academy to others.

My teenager has been struggling in public school for quite some time. His self-esteem was shot. Based on a recommendation from his neuropsychologist we decided to try a learning environment where he would receive individual teaching. We found Spring academy close to where we live, so decided to give it a go. It has been wonderful for our son. He's learning and doing well on his tests and his self-esteem is back! He gets along great with his instructor and the staff and are very friendly and genuinely interested in his well-being. Highly recommended!

We are a biracial family that came to SAAS after public elementary and middle school. We have been blown away by the expertise and care given to our 2 very different children from the administration and faculty. Great resources, facilities, academic and administrative support. Whole school focus is on inspiring growth and supporting totally well rounded individuals that are ready to succeed, be passionate, and live healthy, balanced lives to the fullest. We are so grateful for this community.

Strong college prep and college advising school. It is a great blend of STEM (they call it STREAM for science, technology, robotics, engineering, arts and math) and liberal arts.

The Spring Academy offered a natural transition from the great progress our son made at the Lehman Academy with some executive function challenges.

The pacing of the work is one of the greatest attributes of the program. His forward progress is based on him demonstrating proficiency with the subject matter. If it takes a little longer, his teacher is there to patiently support him. He is also given the opportunity to test out of specific sections for which he is proficient.

The Spring Academy’s curriculum is accredited in Washington State and there are several objective forms of measurement by which our sons progress is monitored. For our family the subjective forms of measurement are meaningful as well. He is always ready to go his twice a week, hour long session at the Spring Academy. Most often he is smiling when we pick him up as he tells us about how he “gets it” or that he just did well on an exam.

We are also appreciative of the Principal Ryan Malone. He was very generous with his time in helping us decide if the Spring Academy would be a good fit. The accredited curriculum along with Ryan’s help made it easy to substitute his math class at Seattle Public Schools with another subject. Our son will receive full credit for his Math class conducted at the Spring Academy.

The Spring Academy offers a very flexible schedule which gave us lots of options for our son’s busy extracurricular schedule. We really appreciate that they are open till 7pm.

We are very happy to have found the Spring Academy and would recommend it to anyone seeking help for a student experiencing a learning challenge.

i have taken my three children to this school from middle school to high school and the support and structure this school gives has been priceless
