I'm a big fan of the Chicken Shop. Since starting work in this area two weeks ago, I've been eating there every other day. Their BBQ wings, hot wings, and burgers have been great—until today.I ordered a chicken burger and found raw chicken meat at the extremities. I returned it, and the owner, while expressing his concern about losing money, gave me 6 chicken wings as a replacement. Unfortunately, one of the hot wings had a long black human hair in it. When I pointed this out, the owner insisted it was a chicken feather🤦♂️. Frustrated, I decided to leave without asking for my money back.

The food wasn’t nice I ordered a pizza and some chicken strips on Deliveroo spend around £20 pound when the food came it was barely warm the pizza was stone hard it was stuck to the box not to mention the chicken strips. It was so horrible it looked like it has been stored for more than one day and being recook.

Our second visit. If you pass by Finsbury Park you must try. Good food, quick and very good prices. Meat burgers are great, and fries as well.
I've always had a good experience when getting pizzas from here. Chicken and chips is nice and well priced too considering the area. Nice people at the counter
Sell reheated old fried chicken from night before, places needs to be refurbished as its very rundown and hygiene not so great. Go at own risk
To me, it’s the only shop that I rate 5 out of five in the whole west London. And the reason is first very clean place second good customer service third, which supposed to be first very tasty food. For the last two years I’ve been coming here I still have not complained, still haven’t experience any issues to do with anything. So well done Chicken Valley for keeping it up the good work.
Since a change in owner, the standards and quality have really dropped in this place. Their wings are tasteless, and the pizza isn't what it used to be. I've had food from here twice in a row where both times it's been undercooked raw chicken. It was my fave local chicken shop but now I avoid it at all cost.

Whenever they make grilled chicken, the taste is very nice and fresher than the fried one because it is more healthier and cleaner to eat so you can’t go wrong with it so I am very pleased to eat my food in chicken cottage but they can add more brand new grilled menus to make some changes so you can increase the business service extremely higher.

Ordered of uber eats. All the chicken shops in UK pack their chicken and fries in a box. That isn't rocket science, but these guys sent me 2 piece chicken fries and 3 wings in a paper bag.

The food was really good value actually, fillet burger a good size and wings too, I came at 9pm on Sunday, had a clean atmosphere and the lady serving was friendly and very quick, I was surprised how quick the service was.
Amazing variety of burgers, served with a smile. The posh chips are amazing and the food was served piping hot.
Reasonably priced for London. The place is small and has some stools for one to eat on and the decor is done like American diner with wooden walls decorated with funny plaques.

The food was not nice, real low quality food overpriced, to be sure I went back 2 more times and all 3 times the food was consistent in being bad, because it stays open late and the university is their, doesn't mean anything goes, I try being fair with my judgement but when I feel bad about spending my money I take it personally, I just hope the owners read this and take pride in their food and improve it, also alot of items are unavailable
Really bad customer service. It has such a toxic atmosphere and the manager tried to charge me extra for ordering off menu then said that I couldn't order In the case of potential delivery orders. Recommend avoiding this place.
I was going to give 3 stars because wings where nice but the place don't look clean and chicken beast was dry and then I found in my chicken raw meat not recommend this place. Now I wonder if I didn't get poisoned.

Local fried chicken and pizza shop. I haven't tried their pizza. Their chicken burger meal is very tasty. They also add peri peri powder to the chips. Very generous with the sauces. My son liked their kids chicken nuggets meal.

Back in the days I am talking 2008 this place was delicious. Now theg cut corners reuse food unsold daily. It taste bland. Fries arent cook. And you will get food poisioning so avoid as stated below.
I hope I will not be sick but I believe the food was expired. Chips very dry, lamb dead a century a go and the bread started rotting. Applause for Pepsi who did the job properly, because I have diabetes already, so I don't care..Next time please cook the chicken when is still young, not after he died from covid first day after pension. Thank you for a future intoxication.
Had to wait 5 mins for the staff to come. Place just dirty. Wings were so greasy and chips were dead. Charges 50p for the good sauces and the free sauce was dead. Had to wait an extra 15 mins for him to make more chicken because there wasn’t enough.

I spoke to the owner after I ate my food. He is genuine, friendly and very ethical, based on the conversation we had regarding his pricing and how he sources food. The burger was huge, great value for money and very tasty, especially the sauce. The burger came with the right amount of sauce and cheese. It's a bit messy to eat, but thankfully this place sees that and has the sense to provide good quality wet wipes and tissue/napkins, all free of charge. Every burger on the menu (excluding any vegetarian or vegan options, not my thing lol) sounded great, I really struggled to choose. I spoke to the owner and he talked me through the menu and helped me make the right decision. Next time I am going to try one of the chicken burgers, one of which is grilled, the other fried. All of the beef patties are either Aberdeen Angus or Wagyu. There are places to sit, but there isn't much space inside. There are no toilets. You can pay by cash or card. Drinks wise, there are fizzy drinks/sodas and milkshakes. There are probably other options like water and juice etc, but I can't remember. Excellent food, excellent service! The food is delicious and you can tell it is of great quality which is difficult to find these days. There are so many chicken and chip shops in this area but I always go to Selekt.
Food was served fresh and warm, but delayed. The place is small, sometimes it becomes crowded.
I got the gourmet beef burger and 🤤. I’m not a burger person. I was just looking for something easy to carry on a long day. It blew my mind! The smoky taste was incredible!

Staff are very respectful especially the big guy behind the counter he always looks after me when I get food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you need food and you’re in a rush

I was there today I bought chicken fillet burger meal and 6 hot wing fillet was chicken strip and the chicken they where 3 in the bag instead of 6 I knew that hi put 3 not 6 and the burger wasn't fillet was strip chicken I went back and hi said his sorry but hi didn't look it so hi offer me 4 more wing to bi fair the food is awful discussting I want go there again
I just want to say that the fish burger costed me around £3.50 when I bought and it tasted very basic. Apart from the fish fillet itself which tasted fantastic the rest of the burger was a bit dry and not fresh. It didn’t have any flavour at all. Disappointed. Never coming back here again.
Hands down thee best Pizza ever, we absolutely love this shop. The burgers are very tasty, the chicken is seasoned and cooked very nicely and the chips are simply the best. And best of all the prices are amazing. 10/10 for everything, including the customer service.

Tasty chicken at a good price I'm a regular. I usually go for number 10 its the chicken fillet burger, chips and drink meal deal they have. Definitely worth it. Good tasting chicken at a good tasting price 😋
We didn't expect much from this tiny place right outside the Camden tube station, but my goodness, the food was delicious! It took a little long to get it, but it was so yummy and there's a big, bay window on the second floor, so we didn't mind at all. Hidden gem, if you ask me.

Hi everyone, I went there just 10 minutes ago I think was the manager who asked for the meal. The first thing he asked me do I have a Cash and I said no sorry can I pay by card and he look at me and say okay after 15 minutes I ask for my meal and he say he’s not coming because you don’t have a Cash can you guys believe that I was so angry but I come down and I told him I would report him to the council. He’s not allowed to ask for cash.

Dayum! Beef burger is amazing 🤩 very filling. Also they were very generous with the fries. Peri Peri is delicious as alwaysssss ✨💫
Had half piri chicken , spice was just hot no taste also tried bbq wings and hot wings , hot wings was good bbq not so nice , reason for 1 star rating the following day I was throwing up and had the runs all day , food hygiene rating was not displayed and floor needed a good clean avoid if you value your health.
The best chicken shop around, I have been coming here for maybe 10+ years. For me a good chicken place, is essentially freshness, and you get that with this place. Nothing is ever refried. Everything is made fresh! The staff are really nice, my husband has made very good friends with them.

I got the halloumi, marinated chicken, falafels, houmous, salad and pitta bread with some mint sause and nice salsa-like chilli sauce(which was really nice and spicy) meal, all of this for just under £10.00. Absolutely bargain in Camden.

Best chicken in town oil changed regular freshly cooked food and omg these boys periperi is on point
ordered food via deliveroo and was the worst delivery I've had. Ordered 2 chicken doner wraps and all the ingredients came separately, very little chicken, the salad was all wrong and there were no sauces included despite being selected. Their 'strip burgers' were advertised as 2 strip burgers and chips and we only got 1 burger with a teaspoon of mayo. Overall very disappointed that they didn't even bother to read what we asked for and didn't bother to assemble the wraps.
Please come here, enjoy the food and good service. We came here late night after a few and glad we came. Food was great we all had chicken kebab med, and we were not disappointed with food or service. We sat in the back and didn’t even let me pay until we finished our food. We’ll be back and I think you should too.

Surprisingly good for London - quality food (grilled lamb or chicken), lots of salad, great sauces, big portions and super-friendly customer service... And the prices are very reasonable.

I went here about 1 week before this and the dinner kebbad meat was terrible! But the staff was very kind and very nice I know this was not there normal supplier of Donner meat!I went back there to confirm! And on Thursday 15 April 2021 I had a large donor kebab it was very nice! The meat was plenty! Cost me £7 it is £6 but he gave me more meat lovely meat. It was about 11.30pm at night careful there was a lot of broken glass on the floor stay safe and may God bless you and us all always and remember God is real and thank you for fasting 🤴👨👩👧👦🌍❤👣🌹🙏

Chicken delight isn't a bad place, I guess its just a stop off, so one can fill that gap before a proper meal. One thing that is confusing with all chicken shops within the local area, is why do they only do one flavour wing (spice).. or pepper, that is the only thing I can taste... ??

I visited Dixie at 5am after a night out so bare that in mind. I wasn't intoxicated though as I had been drinking water only, all night. The tables in the shop were very dirty at 5am, covered in chicken boxes and bones but that is to be expected at that time with only one staff member. However my friend insisted that this was the finest chicken shop on her side of the river so I trusted her recommendation. The fellow behind the counter was a bit aggy (miserable & aggressive) but once again that's understandable after serving fried food to what was likely hundreds of drunk people all night. At that time in the morning the menu was limited so I ordered grilled wings and chips. The wings were well seasoned and flavourful the skin was a little flabby and I prefer crispy skin but it wasn't that bad. He fried us fresh chips and with a lil salt you can't really go wrong. My friends both ordered chicken burgers and they also really enjoyed their food. So if you're ever in the area and it's very early in the morning I do recommend you pop into Dixie.

This small place is home to one of the best burgers you will eat in Old Street. On the menu: about 20 different burgers, from super-meaty to vegan. Bonus points for the originality of the burgers, and the rosemary salt fries.

The onion relish adds a rich layer of sweet and savoury that just makes this burger so great. The servers were very friendly and the decor is pretty unique. The excellent 'Chicken Inn' is a family run business which has been in the heart of Cricklewood Broadway for nearly five years and it's a favourite with many locals. Eat in or takeaway, everything is really tasty. Chips are really crispy and the various types of cooked chicken are all excellent, my favourite is peri peri, medium spicy, which i treat myself to on a weekly basis! Freshly cooked on the spot, there's also a choice of steak burgers, lamb burgers or fish and chips, all delicious. You won't find a better local chicken/burger shop. Give it a try. Very small burger joint on the outskirts of the centre of London, but where it's small, it makes up for service and taste. Their burgers are tasty, their sweet potato fries and milkshakes are even better!
They deliver within an approximate 2 mile radius.
On the flipside, I did get ill the day after I ate from here.. So I will be making another trip and eating there again soon, to confirm, but I think that was a complete coincidence.

Burger was nice and juicy, cheesy fries was a bit of a let down because they werent cheesy enough and also came cold. There isnt much place to sit so its more of a takeaway place, we almost missed it! Food is reasonably priced and good for the quality. Glas we gave it a go!
It was so life-saving, i arrived at London around almost 1am and got nowhere to eat for dinner as everything was closed even night clubs or pubs, i spent almost an hour walking around the concrete forests to find food and then i bumped into them, the food may not that special or luxury like A-graded restaurants but it was really good and refreshing. Thanks to them finally i found a place for my dinner.
Disappointed with the food on this occasion, requested chillis on one pizza but given Green peppers.
Pizzas partially burnt, fried chicken tasted rancid..
Peri peri wings burnt and not as good as the previous time.
