The cafe itself is very cute, love the game boards that are available, however we did not have such a great experience with the food and service.

The mocktail was really good, however we waited over an hour for our food, we asked a few times in between and they told us it’s coming. When we asked again at the 1.5 hour mark, they checked in the system only to realise that they hadn’t even placed our order.

Once the food did arrive, they got our order wrong. I asked for the croissant sandwich and they brought a burger. We were too hungry at that point to switch it. But the burger was very soggy and salty. Definitely did not enjoy it.

The pasta wasn’t too bad.
This game cafe had some nice drinks and the fried chicken was tasty snack! The atmosphere of this place is so trendy and yet comfortable, decent game selection too.
The service at the restaurant was lovely. The waiters were quick to respond and help us with all our needs. I also adore the wide assortment of board games that you can play while waiting for your food to be here.
I suggested this place to meet up a friend. It was the first time for both of us to visit cafe. If you choose to dine-in only and not play any board games then they won't charge you for the games. It's helpful that each table has a button underneath it to call for service. The staff was so polite and helpful!

I ordered the Taiwanese fried chicken (yes, it's boneless), and Osmanthus Latte. Both tasted amazing!

Taiwanese fried chicken (crowd fav): Great if you are just looking for a snack but also a good choice to share with the rest of the group. Loved the sauce paired with it.

Osmanthus Latte (brand new on the menu): It was the first time I tried a latte made with Osmanthus. I found it a good balance of sweet and a touch of bitter. Overall I loved the taste!
Awesome boardgame cafe.

Food was so good. We had the braised beef rice and noodles. And two lattes. It’s a bit pricey but you’re paying the premium for the vibes.

They have a lot of boardgames to choose from: the classics like scrabble, monopoly, cards against humanity, risk, catan, etc. They also have newer games. We played Wingspan for 2 hours.
I had the pleasure of visiting Twilight Cafe last year, and it exceeded all my expectations. The food, particularly the croissant sandwich, was absolutely delicious, leaving me craving more. The ambience of the cafe was inviting and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment. I especially appreciated the inclusion of games, which provided a fun way to spend time with loved ones and friends. Additionally, the selection of drinks was impressive, offering a variety of options to suit every taste. Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience at Twilight Cafe, and I eagerly look forward to returning again and again.
Had amazing first experience at the cafe was out for a walk decided to make a stop to check out this amazing cafe by my place and I was very surprised and amazed by the service and the space and the coffee of course . Kevin made me a coffee with Antoine and passion . For anything looking for a place to chill around Dundas square with their friend and enjoy fresh refreshing drinks food and other iteams plz check out this place they have a lot of board , card games and amazing sitting arrangements everything working there seemed super chill
And enjoying the work place which is always a nice thing . Place has a very cool and super chill vibe . Although this time I was only there for coffee I can see myself going back with my friends to enjoy more varieties for refreshments and food they seem to have amazing menu and the price is extremely fair for a cafe in downtown Toronto . All in all amazing place keep up the good work everything . Huge thumbs up for the whole team and see u guys soon .
I went for the first time today and the staff was super friendly and recommenmded I try the komi house pork. I also grabbed a couple sausage rolls and an iced coffee. The komi house pork was really delicious and savory, chef's kiss! The rolls were pretty great as well but the sandwich is where it's at. Iced coffee was amazing, honestly might be my favourite now. Highly recommend! Definitely try this place out :)
Tried it today for the first time.

Awesome experience.

The guy (probably the owner) was kind and made a couple recommendations. He recommended the pork over chicken and it was delicious. Spot on!

Both the pork vermicelli and bbq beef on rice were amazing. Made fresh and with care. Will be getting the beef on rice with egg next time for sure!

Will be back to try the sandwich (his signature), but was not in the mood for that today.

Oh, can't forget the tapioca milk. It was awesome and he took his time making it.

A must try!
I would have given this place 4 stars but due to a couple reasons, I dropped it to a 3. The place was very busy when my wife and I went on a Friday night; one of the staff took our orders but what looks like some notes app on his phone. They were nice and seemed a bit busy I suppose.

The atmosphere was nice with quite a lot of seating available; the place also offered board games (two separate shelves near the back) for $6/2 hours so that would be part of the reason for it being so busy.

We ordered the Taiwanese braised pork rice and classic omelet; the rice came quite quickly but after waiting over thirty minutes after (even after finishing our rice), our omelet did not come. We thought they forgot about it and proceeded to the front to pay. They told us the omelet just finished, so we took it home. The rice was pretty good and the omelet was alright but definitely shouldn't not have taken over half an hour to make, else they should have told us beforehand.

Overall, I would recommend coming here with friends once in a while as a get together, but would avoid getting the omelet but the rice was not too bad. Their logo looked pretty good too in my opinion. I just wished the service was a bit more organized or had better communication.

Be aware - you will likely get cold food if you order delivery. 4 times in a row the food has arrived entirely cold. They don't heat well due to fresh vegetables inside of the baguette. I tried to call and get help from them but they refused to cancel or offer to remake it, instead, I'm stuck paying for and waiting for cold food.

If you're gonna charge me $9.32 for the below, you should at least be accepting Amex.

Delightfully unassuming spot for momos, with a few available seats outdoors and indoors. Tried the steamed beef momos here and enjoyed them. Very friendly staff as well. Would recommend for smaller groups if dining there, at most 4 people.

Our first visit to this Cute Cafe and we were not disappointed. My 6 years old daughter and 3 years old son loved the momos here.
Food, Service and atmosphere was all excellent. We’ll definitely bring my kids back here after their swimming class every Sunday!

Thank you 😊
I came here for the first time today. Been looking for a place in Toronto to help recreate my love for Vietnam. I spent 3 weeks touring the country in 2014. The food was amazing there.

The pork banh mi was amazing. The bread was soft but crunchy. The filling was well spread out and didn't make the bread soggy. The bread held its shape as I walked and ate my banh mi on the way home. I'd come back and try a few more items on the menu.

I love their momos! Generous portion and size = big momos x 10 = $9.50 (as of Nov2022). They seem to be doing only takeout now with steamed momos (beef, pork, chicken, and veggies) only, but I like steamed ones. Very nice garlic flavour and they come with nice chilli sauce etc. They steam momos upon order so you'll need 15 min to wait - grab some butter tea and I love chatting with them while waiting. Yeah there are other good places in this neighbourhood but I like their momos here so I'll keep coming back.

Great place in little Tibet for Momos. This is a family run shop. By a mother and her two daughters. More than the food, expect some good conversation too

This place used to be great, but we just ordered take out and had a horrible experience. After reading some of the other reviews, I see that the management has changed and that makes a lot of sense. The quality of the momos has gone way down hill. They are filled very loosely and they were all squished. The filling itself was bland. We ordered the two vegan options. One of the momos had beef in it and my boyfriend didn't realize until he bit into it, as it was mixed in with the tofu momos. Unfortunately we won't order from here again.
We ordered two pork Banh Mi, with paté, and different hot sauces. My pal ordered his with the Habanero, but there wasn't a spice to be found. Only sweet - my guess is someone missed it, since it was on the receipt.

Excellent pork! Saucy, sweet - one of the best I've eaten. The bun was a little too soft though - more like a Portuguese bun than a crusty French one.

Definitely coming back for more.

I came to get some refreshments. I ordered the Mango green tea, and you can customize the level of the sweetness and ice. I asked for regular sweetness and less ice and the drink was too sweet. And I’m the kind of person that would drink condensed milk and that was too sweet for me. So if you’re not a fan of that kind of stuff make sure to ask for less sugar.
Place doesn’t have dine-in or standing counter for eating. Food is simple and prices are very affordable.

I walk past this store on the path every morning at ~7:00AM. The one guy
that works there is always already getting ready for the day while all the other stores are closed.

It always looks like he is doing some extra cleaning of the machines or preparing for the day. Definitely want to try it.
Update: tried the Golden Pork Sandwich today and it was excellent! The pork is marinated in honey and soya before grilling and has a lovely sweet/savory taste.

Tried the Komi House Style Pork Sandwich (with Pate) and the Calvin's Style Beef Sandwich, both at spice level Mild - Sweet Thai. Excellent flavour in both sandwiches. Adding the Pate really elevated the pork sandwich; I could taste it in every bite. The kimchi added a nice spice to the beef sandwich but it could have used a little more. Overall a great choice if you're craving some bánh mì!
THE BASICS

There is no shortage of shops in Toronto serving up Banh Mi sandwiches these days. Komi Banh Mi Bar is one of these new shops, but in our opinion they are one of the best entrants onto the scene. Komi’s bright, clean shop is well situated in Bloorcourt Village and offers a range of excellent sandwich and rice platter options at a very reasonable price.

THE SERVICE

These are very friendly folks who take special care to ensure that their made-to-order Banh Mi will keep you coming back for more. While meats are marinated in advance, they are not grilled until an order is placed, so there are no shortcuts. But the quality of the sandwiches make the wait well worth your time.

THE FOOD

We’ve only tried their Banh Mi, an appetizer (their scumptious and very fresh grilled pork sausage roll with peanut sauce for $5.49) and some of their fruit teas. We will be ordering a couple of rice platters the next time we visit.

One of the things that sets Komi apart from the competition is that their baguettes are baked fresh in-house; and the baguettes are perfect and delicious. Komi also offers up very generous servings of meat; these Banh Mi are a full meal for all but the biggest appetites. While all the Banh Mi are delicious, here are our two favourites:

Calvin’s Style Beef is Asian BBQ-style Grade ‘A’ beef with kimchi. The beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender and suffused with delicious BBQ flavour. It’s the most “expensive” item on the menu at $11.49 - worthy every penny!

The Golden Pork Banh Mi is stuffed to overflowing with honey soy grilled pork for a ridiculously low price of only $8.85

DRINKS

Komi has a selection of fruit teas, with the option to add tapioca “bubbles”. You can also adjust the amount of sugar and ice in each tea when you place your order. We had a mango tea on our last visit and it was delicious!

THE PRICE

Komi’s prices are very reasonable, particularly in light of the high quality, fresh and delicious Banh Mi’s that they regularly serve up. These folks deserve to have a line up outside their door; hopefully more people discover them so that they can thrive.

I also liked the laping (spicy cold noodles)

I lucked out and the owner was testing out being open on Saturdays. He offered samples to see what we preferred, explained the options and took the time to make the food beautiful. I'm not from the area, but if I come back in town, I will gladly be back again.
