Amazing caring church and religious community as well as the Father and office administration who have been helping the Ukrainian people with thousands of donations during this war by Russia; I highly recommend this church and religious community.
Very beautiful place we had our AA Conference today and the building was gorgeous very comfortable spacious, thank you lord for this church amen.

This is an excellent facility. Well run and maintained. Good for meetings or events. If your in Lyndhurst, NJ, and are thinking of running a Catholic oriented affair, this could be your destination!
The Parish of Mt. Carmel hosted an important Knights meeting. The Pastor was very welcoming and the parish center was a great, convenient meeting location. I shared some of the stained glass murals that depict Church History in the Americas.

Beautiful church. Large parking lot behind the church, but a bit of a walk to the church. Plenty of room for social distancing. TV monitors share the words of prayers and songs. Good Mass schedule.
Beautiful church. Previous pastor passed who. They no longer offer all the masses, exposition, reconciliation before all mass. Just not it used to be.
The choir is outstanding! Took some time to hear them Christmas time and was astonished! Sadly there were only a few to enjoy it such as I, they truly didn't know what they were missing!
My grandson goes to school here. It is a great school. He is learning a lot. They are teaching PreK 4 children to read. They are open full time for in person learning and gives the option for virtual learning. They are nurturing, but yet teaches independence. I highly recommend this school.

Don't try to pass by here when school is getting out... Rudest parents double park and block the street. Walk out from between cars with their kids... So dangerous.

This church has the most beautiful sanctuary at Christmas time! I always loved attending a mass there in December!
For many years my family were parishioners at this church, since it was only a few blocks up the hill from my grandparents' house on Kingsland Ave. My grandfather was an usher and a member of the Holy Name Society, and my Dad went here for grade school. I remember many family gatherings, anniversaries, birthday parties, etc in the basement of St. Michael's church back in the 1980's and 1990's, including Father Miller's retirement party in 1995 (who used to be the pastor of the Church) and the 50th anniversary of Father Silver, who used to be a priest at the Church. A wonderful place to visit!
My family has been part of Sacred heart since my greatgrandmother was on the committee to rebuild it. P.s., my grandfather was an altar boy here. The Dunn family was always involved here.
