Great place great Tours little market where the market could’ve been a little bit bigger but I know they have a different one on a different day!!
At least the parking garages don't smell like a public toilet. Santa Monica is a beautiful clean city. They prefer pedestrians over cars. It's so clean

Lots of stores boarded up homeless sleeping on chairs aricondick style for the homeless. Tourism crowd on Memorial Day..horrible but, people on loud speakers with Jesus Scripture 😔.
I had a 12 hours layover in LAX and decided to spend a few hours in Santa Monica. It will not disappoint you. Very cleaned, beautiful streets, lots of retail shops, bars, and restaurants. The views of the ocean are amazing, the beach is very nice, lots of music and things to do.

Great shopping center, very good variety of shops. I got the phone I’m writing this on here. 5 stars
Outside shopping Downtown Santa Monica looks Good 😊🎧🛍️😎🔥
Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA is an outdoor shopping district walking distance from the Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Ocean. There are a handful of new trending stores popping up frequently. All of the mainstream stores can be found here from Nordstrom to PacSun and local retailers!
It's a shopping closed street that's very easy and comfortable to walk around here. But even on a Friday evening, it felt like the crowds were much smaller than the last time I came six years ago.

Good plaza
Beautiful place to visit
The Promenade is cleaning up and feeling safer than ever. They now have cool community events and security of an upscale mall! The Promenade is back!

Gorgeous during the holidays & well designed to navigate with most restaurants on third floor. Near the Santa Monica Pier & Third Street Promenade.

My very first time going to this mall and it was great! Walked around and got to take pics with the Christmas tree. It was not that crowded when I went. I love how this place is uniquely designed :)

Located 2 blocks away from Santa Monica beach.

Parking was not easy. We found one for 2 hours, so we had to rush.

Clean and organized but limited in numbers of stores. I was expecting more stores. Some of them were completely new to us.

I found a Tesla store. Maybe convenient for some but not for us.

I found the mall little boring and nothing special about it. We left in less than 2 hours.
Downtown Santa Monica is a bustling urban area adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, featuring a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Known for the Third Street Promenade, a pedestrian-friendly shopping street, it offers a vibrant atmosphere with street performers, upscale retailers, and a variety of culinary options. The iconic Santa Monica Pier is also nearby, adding to the area's charm.

The Grinch Experience was cute. However, there was only one character that appeared, during the entire 90 minutes we were there. It was Sam I Am. My granddaughter was really hoping to see the Grinch or Cindy Lou. Or at least more than just one character.

Open air concourse three levels with escalators. High end stores and restaurants. Busy but doesn’t seem crowded.
3rd Street is cleaner than ever and the shops are coming back. Covid was rough on the retailers, but many of the restaurants prospered and are doing their best. It's a beautiful and friendly place, I'm excited for the future.

On a Tuesday lunchtime in mid October, Santa Monica Place was very quiet. It was very clean and welcoming nevertheless. The restroom in the top level food court was exceptionally clean and fresh feeling. But because it was so lacking in clientele, there was no atmosphere and window shopping was more uncomfortable. Otherwise a very nice shopping zone.

It was a great experience to visit Santa Monica place. I'd enjoyed trying the Ferris wheel and the ice cream funnel cake. I'd taken some hilarious photo booth photos that will be going into my scrapbook. All I have to say is that I'd tried out 2 photo booths and one of them has better quality Photoshop than the other. Definitely a fun experience overall.

This is a good option to go before or after the beach, here you will find many good places to eat also you can find public restrooms here. The famous pier is near (about 10 minutes walking).
Had an amazing visit in Santa Monica downtown, I walked arround while waiting my train come back to LA! What a nice memories.
Ah, the poor 3rd Street Promenade!
What used to be alive with interesting brands (madewell, old navy, j crew, banana republic, Barnes and Noble, RH even Nike and many other brands, gone! It is a wasteland! Shops all gone, empty storefronts. The rents are sky high and no one can afford to pay. Shopped at Zara, where it was also very quiet.
Sadly, not the same as in it's heydey before Covid. Too many empty stores and no real liveliness.

Fantastic place to visit, a lot of action, restaurants, bars, stores.
Today there is a special event due to the superbowl in Los Angeles.
Promenade in Santa Monica is a lot of fun with great choices of shops, and quality restaurants.
Very nice, busy! Cool place to hang out and people watch
Great shops, good parking (pricy at $14 for 4 hours), great restaurants. Gave 4 stars because it smells like urine in the walkways.
Nowadays not crowded at all because lots of stores & restaurants are shut down for good and is bad. So I won't recommend unless things improve dramatically which I don't expect in the near future. May be will take more than a year for that.

Had a blast. Walked down it after dark and the lights were amazing, my kids had fun looking at everything.
A nice outdoor shopping mall. They have all the stores found at an indoor mall They have several restaurants if you get hungry, and a couple of the large coffee chains. There's plenty of seating to chill and people watch. Only bad part was the restrooms. Several urinals and sinks were covered with bags and wasn't very clean.

Wonderful place to hang out and meet new people. mini shops, restaurants. There's also Palisades Park, the library, the beach, the train station, and Tongva Park within walking distance! Public restrooms at the end of the alley on Arizona and 2nd Street Ct right beside and underneath the public parking. There will be a green sign that says lobby entrance and that is where you will find the public restrooms. I would also like to add that the ambassador's do their best to clean up the alleys and the restrooms even though there are a lot of tourists and people that come through here.
