Lots of different stores to visit and doesn't really lack much. Shopped and ate food here several times with no issues.

there is so many stores in this plaza it's actually pretty insane. tons of choices to choose from, i'm sure you will find what you are looking for if you come to this plaza. love it here.

The food court is my main attraction. When you first walk in, go straight up the middle turn right at the end and go to the last vendor. I love the chicken shwarma plate on salad or rice with extra white sauce and hot. mmmmmgood i usually can not eat all until either later or the next day. There are other great food places there also such as you will see.

I have been coming to this mall for years. This particular day I was there for sushi. Joya sushi is one of my go-to spots. The tuna that I had there was to die for and I had a pretty good serving of sashimi.

Good variety of stores. Preferred the enclosed larger mall.

I like Jackson Square. I know it is a little dated, but folk are friendly. It is mostly clean and tidy. There is a Landmark Cinema with VIP seating for everyone. They validate parking. You get to go to a movie and park your car , score. Nations supermarket also validates parking. Nations is second to none when it comes to fresh fruit and vegies. They have a vast selection and good take out foods. The Hamilton public library is around the block and Farmers market on Saturdays.

Really disappointing security measures. Lots of theft in the area. Not safe to leave your bike anywhere, only one camera that doesn't stay focused on one area. My e-bike was stolen from right out front of fit4less and when I reported it, I was very unimpressed with the measures they have in place to prevent theft or investigate it after the fact. Bike racks that are designed to lock your tire are so bad, thiefs can just saw off your tire axle in 2 seconds. Please get some better bike racks that lock to the actual bike frame and point a camera at them.

Parking is reasonable and abundant. Mall is nice. Some unique shops. Better Sunday hours would nice-not much going on before noon. Theatre is nice too.

Nice little shopping plaza, variety of different vendors and shops. Tims and Walmart definitely my go to's.
Unfortunately the tailor repair shop is disappointing, some nice gentleman but i took my backpack to get a strap toggle replaced amd they had nothing like it but put a handbag slide toggle on instead. Unfortunately i can't adjust my back on the fly anymore and have to do it before putting it on.

I thought I was lost at first but I called and spoke to the front desk receptionist and she was so kind and gave me directions.

Easy to navigate around with your car. Doesn't appear to be too busy, and there is plenty of parking. Great selection of stores

There are lots of options in fresh seafood, especially Indian fishes. Even the frozen section fish were amazing when cooked. Highly recommended to get all your Asian ingredients from here.

Low cost basic foods. Decent fruit and vegetable section.

Lots of stores selling footwear. Shoes, boots, fancy running shoes, etc. A few ladles clothing stores. It was easy to find a seat in the food court area. The library is attached to the mall, which is very convenient. Dollarama is a huge store, with a large selection of everything you need. Mall was clean.

They have a good selection of stores, restaurants, Canadian Tire Gas Station, and Banks with Wheelchair Accessible Entrances. They have lots of free parking spots with Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lots. They do have several entrances to get in and out of the parking lot. I've been here at this place many times. It's a good location.

I used to love when this whole lot was a plaza it has definitely changed but there are still some really good mom and pop shops here. I usually go for timmies to fix a jacket or to have my leather belt made smaller

The parking is aweful. People never pay attention. I've witnessed multiple times where people have almost got hit because the run in front of cars.

Few stores around.. well organized.. sort of clean!!! Fortinos occupies the largest space out there... goodlife fitness.. couple of fast food, govt offices, dollarama... alright. Please Google the rest 😁

The freshco here always stocks grey and old meat. I’ve seen “fresh” produce rotting here. Only good to shop here for non-perishables. Better to shop at the Metro across the street.

Jackson Square is ok. I love that the markets( both the international & the local markets) are in close proximity to each other. I also love Suzie Sheer and Limited, so I go in and browse through each time I visit.💖

Place has really useful stores such as the Dollarama, the Tim's and the Wok Express and I guess the Subway. You can get a bunch of stuff done here from shopping to eating and there's even little booths with phone accessories and other things. If you need anything you think you won't find somewhere else this place will probably have it.

Not a bad plaza mall got food gym and booster juice lol very lively spot for the resident and university students around their. Got your breakfast spot, lunch spots and a hugh gym and Indian style club/bar

Shoppers, convenience store and some other services offered at this place. It's at the base of an apartment so quite handy for the residents.

Great little square attatched to other great squares. Lots of food options, groceries, flying squirrel, and so much more. Spend many visits here to access many options close to home. Always clean and safe. Lots of parking available as well.

I've visited Urban Core previously and had a great experience there. They did some paperwork for me years ago also. Friendly staff who do good things for the community.

I went to shoppers drug Mart there and was delighted to get a ten dollar gift card for next purchase. ALOT of sales and prices were what I've never seen before. Awesome day great store.

It was ok didn't do anything there but saw doctor etc.

An older plaza on the top end of Hamilton with a good selection of stores ranging from grocery, eating establishments, a gym, smoke shop (great selection), life labs and more. I visited Wimpy's for breakfast and great as usual. Gas and other stores nearby with routes to lower Hamilton

Jackson Square isn't a bad place for shopping. There's plenty of stores and merchandise. Lots of places to go for lunch. As a long time resident of Hamilton I've seen it go through many changes with many closures. If you're new to Hamilton or have never been to Jackson Square, you'd never know so that wouldn't be an issue.

One stop shopping, food, clothing,shoes, LCBO, large indoor food court. Parking galore both regular and disabled. If you can't find what you need here, then it didn't exist. Almost forgot it has a gas station.🇬🇧🇨🇦🐺

If you're living in the building connected it's nice to have food so close if you're outside the building no one uses it because it's nestled in the dirty old building that seems unfriendly

I was here only for passport purposes. Went to service Canada. They were great. In and out in under an hour. Was there when they opened at 8:30am.

Lots to see. Including a movie theatre. A food court, drug store, dollarama. Toby's restaurant. TD Bank. Close to home. Very convenient.

It's places like this that make people think Hamilton is a scary and dirty city. I don't want to speak poorly about the individual shops, but there's a real lack of overall quality at this mall. I do like the cinema because it's cheap and comfortable, but it's not the easiest to access.

Dropped into Stacked Restaurant and left thoroughly impressed! As a big guy, it takes a lot to fill me up, but their pancake stack managed the feat effortlessly. The portions are generous, the prices reasonable, and the service is top-notch. If there was a Michelin star for breakfasts, Stacked would surely be a contender. Highly recommend for a stellar start to your day!

This mall is always good to shop and catch a movie if you like. Stop in the library and get what you need. Plenty of stores that will be eager to help you with what you're looking for get something altered in more than one place to choose from and the food court is open to help you with your hunger cravings and don't forget the pharmacy will be able to get you what you need and the largest Grocery store with absolutely everything from everywhere making it impossible to leave empty handed. Banks restaurant's and the spot to go if you are looking for designer sunglasses or fill a prescription. Need a cell phone you won't be disappointed you'll just have a problem picking where to go next. On the way through get your haircut or nail's done you can do both. Underground parking and if you are tired and decided to stay overnight the problem solved get a room! Like it's really nice and clean public washroom and more than one coffee shop to get your fix. Love it

The security guards are great and they will protect your stuff from anybody to steal it. I don’t like Jackson Square, at the beginning but since I got used to it, I’m giving it a four-star rating.

JoAnn Fabric has a useful selection of art supplies. I have added some photos as examples of some of the non-fabric items they carry. This store is well stocked and very tidy and well cared for. Please support them; places to obtain quality art supplies like these from brick and mortar stores is rapidly dwindling.

Once upon a child is an amazing store for our children's toys, clothes and all other toddler equipment. We bought a like new high chair fully loaded with all the bells and whistles for $40. Brand new was over $200. Stair fences brand new $10 each instead of $40 at Walmart. Clean and quality items also great staff.

Visited the new STACKS restaurant ,great meals but bring an empty stomach because they give you a lot of great food.Its in a small mall so parking may be hard to find at certain times

This plaza has everything you'll need! All the Big 5 banks are here, a gas station, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Giant Tiger, Shoppers Drug Mart, some clothing stores, lots of food options, many different cuisines. Ample parking spaces, and a full sized gym!

Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, LCBO, and a dollar store just to name a few. On the whole, a pretty well-equipped plaza.

Very convenient shopping location if you have a car, but be careful walking from store to store as many drivers are always in a rush here

Great little spot for basic shopping needs such as groceries/ liquor/ $ store/ few places to eat (i.e. Subway/Timmies etc.) few clothing stores - not great shopping spree center, but nice for a fairly quick in and out shopping experience

No please with this location. 2023/05/02- order a chicken with 2 sides, rice and potatoes. I got home and I realized that I was given potatoes and 1/2 of the container of fries. I called and explained the issue I was told "the fries were full", I replied
"I can send you a picture! I didn't know that Tomala was so cheap on servicing customers because I could have order from another location! After all the discussion, nothing was said about the rice and that a manager will contact me. Still waiting 2023/05/03 afternoon. I guess is not important enough. I spent $70 for 2 chickens and 2 sides that is not what I order or what was supposed to be. Very disappointed on the service at this location. My advise is check your order before leaving this location!! Or order at the Portuguese location in Barton and Victoria called Cantinho!

There is a couple shops in this mall that have friendly staff members. But to get in the mall area for parking really sucks! To get out is really bad, ever since the new entrance and exit for getting in and out of the mall sucks. Especially when pizza pizza gets a delivery. Sad!

Wow, this little mall has changed considerably. With it being so close to MacMaster the choices for food are variable. Popeyes it appears is very big with the teens at lunch. Love that Royal Spice has expanded to the west end, try there pakora and Biryani out. Baskin Robbins has been the main focal point for years. Newly boardwalk is there have not tried as yet, as well as close to trail and gym on site.

My bank is located there..and every thing went really well...

Perfect little mall. Walkabout, and a new Burger chain, "The Boardwalk" has opened up there ...Baskin Robbins, Crunch fitness. Not fancy, but functional office/retail.

Nice place! Many stores. Alot of traffic in and out of the parking lot. Just be careful driving around the lot because other drivers who don't care how they drive.

So, overall, it was just okay. The variety of stores was decent, but nothing too extraordinary. I was able to find some items I needed, but it wasn't a mind-blowing shopping spree. The staff at the stores were friendly enough, but I did encounter a few instances where they seemed a bit disinterested or not very knowledgeable about the products. The prices were average, not too high but not super affordable either. The shopping center itself was clean and well-maintained, but it lacked that extra spark or unique atmosphere that would make it stand out. It was just your typical shopping center experience.

I remember when the upper James plaza, mountain plaza, used to be completely covered and I think it was better at that time but, the covered mall is gone and now we have separate stores again. If you want to just go to Walmart you can go to the one side which is on the south side of the mall there's an LCBO pretty much in the middle and on the northern side you have the beer store and Tim Hortons coffee and other stores that have been there for years you also have a store for getting all sorts of wonderful things to eat and to purchase we also have the post office with shoppers drug Mart in that area.

This plaza has a convenient huge parking lot. It has Canadian tire store and Canadian tire Gas station. Food basics store is also here which has all sorts of fresh produce and pantry items.

Great place to get your Java...friendly staff...and they never screw up my order.

Such a fun park!!! There's a play section for toddlers and another for 5yr and up. Great features at this park to get kids moving.

Small splash pad is so cute! Very refreshing on these hot days.

I like the mall but some of the stores are closed because of co-vid. I hope the rest will survive it. It has Walmart, Metro, Canadian Tire, Michaels.

Fantastic prices and outstanding work without any hidden fees. The best part is they go above what u asked for to make ur vehicle not only perform better, but look immaculate. Without charging anything extra. In a timely manner with the option of a free loaner car (Porsche)

Fennell Plaza has so many shops and great variety 👍🏼💯 Guess with numbers going up hoping numbers in stores don’t go down. May we all have a great Holiday Season and looking forward to Boxing Day.

The only reason it got 4 stars is due to the fact that so many good stores are gone. I was lucky to find a deal on my Nike shoes there but no OPI polishes, losing a good hair salon was awful...used to be across from theaters and went there for my trim as I have extremely long hair. The only real reason we go once a week is strictly for Farmers Market

Went to the bank & then to Shoppers. CIBC is very helpful, all the staff is nice & l had all my needs taken care of. Picked up a few things at Shoppers Drug Mart. Staff very friendly & they where asking where my service dog Hope was. It was the same day that Hope had lifesaving cancer surgery. Hadn't been there for a while so l was surprised they remembered us, told them about Hope's ordeal & they where very concerned. Made me feel good to know they care.

Had to go take care of some business at the bank. Very helpful & friendly & not a long wait. Mixed the dates up with the other review l just did so read that one as well. This was my birthday & the day Hope had lifesaving cancer surgery.

It was best place and very good atmosphere and location as amazing and the services excellent.

I came in the late evening. Stores were still open and not busy with vehicle or pedestrian traffic. It was busy with emergency vehicles driving though from police, fire and EMS.

A quick stop with so much going on. This area has the LCBO and the Metro in the same parking lot.

Great shopping experience with the many shops in one location! Walmart is my go to place for my online orders for pickup. Shoppers is also within the plaza. Hope they open a few new places as the lockdown caused many to close.

This particular Shopper's berates their employees and I have had staff including management attempt to berate me as a customer when COVID was first a query. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but I do feel for the employees who are constantly scrutinized and they haven't had proper training

Hamilton Mall I've personally never knew that the name of this Plaza was Hamilton Mall. I've always called it the Nofrills Plaza because Nofrills is there lol 😆 I've never known it was called Hamilton Mall.

Food basics on upper James and Mohawk. Huge store, a wide variety of selections prices very comparable to no frills cheap prices. I'm a mother you have small children and have to take them with you this specific food basics is fantastic as it has shopping carts that are children friendly shape of cars, small shopping carts for your little ones to push around. My 9 month & 3 year old highly enjoyed our shopping experience!!! Although the only negative aspect would be the very smelly customer washroom. Needs a good cleaning .other wise the rest of the store is very clean , very spaces apart! And great store hours!

Due to pandemic it's not yet totally open. Few stores are just the convenient store and shoppers. But the place we're maintained clean.

All are wheelchair accessible and the customer service representative are really friendly.

I personally have visited all these locations and the staff are very professional and friendly even though there are lineups .

Not ideal for shopping due to a lack if stores. The furniture store on the main level is great for unique items. I have heard of some recent additions where Eaton's was located. The mall could certainly do more to attract a diverse selection of stores and foid kiosks. The food court is lacking

This is a fantastic plaza with a little bit of everything. Groceries, LCBO, Dollarama, JYSK, Tropical Sunsations Sun Spa, a trampoline park, an eyeglass shop and soooooo much more. Parking is easy and walkability is great. Owned by Rio Can, this plaza is very well kept. Snow removal is done efficiently in the winter and the parking lot is always being repaired when needed. South Hamilton Square is a one stop shopping experience for everyone. 5 Stars!

Dollarama would be amazing to have here instead of the other stores. Dollar store and other store are over priced and carry nothing interesting. Rexall is the only good thing in it.
