Best burgers out there, and they still have the best prices, service, and speed.
This mall is a Movie theater with a swap meet attached to it. Place is empty. The stores that are open aren't attracting anyone other than seniors. It's a nice place for seniors to walk and fall asleep in the seats available. Great big thumbs down. Couldn't buy shoes for my son here

I don't know why this place is still open. I wanted to do a lil shopping today, but unfortunately all I got was a good scare. I walked towards the food court and there was an older Latino man who started blowing me kisses, I didn't like that so I started walking back towards the exit, and he started following me. I ran out the dark glass doors, only to stumble over a black homeless guy who was laying right outside the door. Horrible experience. Never ever come here if you value your life.

I should have known the minute I pulled up and saw a homeless black man sleeping by the entrance , that this place was beyond creepy, sketchy. and literally a ghost town. No shops whatsoever, nothing but weird people hanging out by the food court. Why I's this place still operating, beats me.

Saw a crazy car chase between a VW type 3 and a Delorean in the parking lot back in 85’
Heard the guy in the type 3 was armed with an AK apparently.

First time ever visiting that mall on Saturday 6/8/2024 as I was walking inside I was astonished at how retro it looked. It looked almost like a time capsule of the 80s/90s. So I wanted to just record a little bit and as I'm doing so, a mall security told me, no filming aloud. Is the mall trying to hide something? I wasn't hurting anyone and the mall was empty. But oh well I followed their rules.

It's our family hamburger regular stop place. It's still cheaper than other restaurants.
For fans of the iconic 1985 movie "Back to the Future," a visit to Twin Pines Mall, also known as Lone Pine Mall, is nothing short of a pilgrimage. Nestled in the heart of Hill Valley, this mall isn't just a shopping center – it's a portal to the past, a tangible connection to the beloved film that captured the imaginations of millions.

Walking through the doors of Twin Pines Mall is like stepping into a time machine itself. From the retro storefronts to the neon-lit signage, every detail transports you back to the 1980s, the era when Marty McFly and Doc Brown embarked on their unforgettable time-traveling adventures. You can almost hear the echoes of Huey Lewis and the News drifting through the air as you wander the corridors, half-expecting to catch a glimpse of a DeLorean speeding past.

But what truly sets Twin Pines Mall apart is its status as a cinematic landmark. This is the very spot where Marty and Doc embarked on their daring journey through time, where the DeLorean time machine revved its engines and disappeared into the unknown. Standing in the same location where these iconic scenes were filmed is a surreal experience, a chance to step into the shoes of your favorite characters and relive the magic of the silver screen.

And while the mall itself may have undergone changes over the years, its role in cinematic history remains unchanged. Visitors can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia as they stroll past familiar storefronts, imagining themselves caught up in their own time-traveling escapades. Whether you're a die-hard fan of the film or simply looking to experience a piece of pop culture history, Twin Pines Mall is a destination that promises to delight and inspire. So grab your hoverboard, hop in your DeLorean, and set a course for Hill Valley – adventure awaits at Twin Pines Mall! 🌟🎬

Conveniently located. Large selection. More than just your neighborhood shopping area. Very nice, indeed.

It is so sad what happened to the Puente Hills Mall. Growing up here in the 80s you could not even find a parking place. The last time I was here bath & body works and Burlington coat factory was still here. Both closed. I think the only major store is Ross for less. For entertainment Round one and AMC theater.

We enjoy going to get boba at Alpaca Cafe there and shopping at the remaining stores. There are always some interesting people hanging around here. One time I met a nice guy named Doc Brown with a pretty sweet DeLorean walking his dog outside of the entrance with his buddy, Marty.

Plenty of parking. The drivethru line at In-n-Out creates traffic problems at the main entrance and into the street at peak times.

We visited the mall as Back to the Future fans. It was great to see the filming location in the parking lot. There was a "Twin Pines Mall" sign inside which was a surprise/easter egg! As for the mall itself, it was sad and seemed pretty dead, hence my 3 star review, as I understand most people would be going here to shop and would probably rather have an honest review on the shopping, rather than my nerdy BTTF stuff.

Great mall, they have the back to the future "twin pines mall" sign and it blanks 1:16am because well you know what happens, it is a 2-story mall with escalators they also have round 1, pretzels, Asian food, knife store, hat store, Burlington. They also have an event every October 26

Sad that this mall made famous in Back to the Future is going badly downhill. JC Penney, visible in the film, is long gone. Sears and Macy's are closed and empty. Burlington is run like a thrift store, a really lowbrow vibe. Only the AMC theatre and Round 1 arcade & bowling alley keep the place on life support.
Always find what my kiddos need. Cord for a bass or drum sticks. They have it all & the workers are knowledgeable. That's huge!

Fine as a mall, half empty and not very exciting. But I'm very sad to see there's not more references to it's history as the Twin/Lone Pines Mall from Back to the Future. Always sad to see malls slowly dying, but extra sad when it's one that may have a bit of extra life if they'd emphasize their place in pop culture history.

Paint some flaming tire marks in the parking lot or something, at least. A cheap and fun little nod for the people who come to see the BTTF sign.

Fun mall., we went and saw a good amount of deals with the clothes and stuff for school. They had some cool stores I never seen before. Me being from Texas., it was cool to see another mall and try some new things out. The kids loved the open area and all the toy rides they had. It was a warm day out but they had it nice and cool inside. Much appreciated. Will return next time we’re in town.

This is the Back to the future mall!

Doc Brown was here! And Marty was too.

Don't miss the chance to visit and stand where an awesome movie was made.

Park by panera for the best pics.

Beware the mall is shutting down like most and has an odd odor.

Benihanas is great here. Bathrooms are not di clean though.
Went to Garden Fresh. Good prices and average quality.
We visited the shopping center area on 05/20/2023 (Saturday). The parking situation for this parking lot is a nightmare. We visited the Sam Ash store and spent a good amount of time there. We then moved our car to a different park of the parking lot to visit Frank & Sons. After spending some time at Frank & Sons we looked for our car in the parking lot, and it was NOT there. We called the Sheriffs Dept and they advised us the car was towed by ASAP Towing in La Puente.
We had to take an UBER to get to the tow facility. They charged us $430 to get our vehicle. This is very unfair. I was trying to spend quality time with my Son on a Saturday. We spent a lot of money at your business's located in this parking lot, and this is how you treat customers? By towing their vehicles.
This predatory towing behavior has to STOP.
I have hired an attorney and I am contacting several other customers who have had their vehicles towed from this location. I am planning on filing a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.
Please avoid these business's in this shopping area. This kind of behavior will not stop, unless these questionable tactics are legally stopped
Very clean and spacious, lots of parking but also a lot of empty stores in the mall. Back to the future sign still there but people need to go out more and don't let the malls die.
AMC 20 anchored clean fully renovated many years ago but mall concept is dead but clean Ross. Burlington round one and 24 hrs fitness still in the mall loads of parking outside mall you can find crispy cream chipotle huge huge property but mall is dead .. Christmas time take picture take with Santa no lines huge Christmas tree is up good save family hang out .
Great place to go . The bad part of this adventure is waiting I'm line wen it rap around the building n looking for parking spot . Other then that it's a great place to go

This is a good mall located just near the main Puente Hills mall East. It has a lot of good places to eat, and ample parking.

You can find most things at this mall such as food, housing goods, and a big collectable show. Some of the shops are closed right now, but most still remain open.

I can remember when this was all farm land as far as the eye could see. Old man Peabody owned all of this. He had this crazy obsession about breeding pine trees.

Dangerous! No footpath to walk into this Shopping Center. I see families with babies fight cars to walk up the incline to get to their destination.
This shopping center was nice. It offered light grocery shopping to clothing shopping and restaurants for a quick bite.
Nice and quiet mall compared to the popular malls around here! Has an AMC movie theater too so that's a plus :) Kind of pricey but the seats and theaters are clean and satisfactory! There is a good selection of shops to shop at but the food court isn't that great tbh... there's only a McDonald's, Subway, Hot dog on a stick and 4 other places that don't serve the best foods. I would say the best restaurant in the food court is the Asian food one! That one is pretty good. The bowling and arcade center are not usually crowded so it's a great place to go to with a group of friends or family 👍 The parking is free and there are lots of spaces available so that's no issue. I never had a problem with parking. Also you can come here with a public bus since there are many bus stops in the front of the mall! 😊
