This mall is spectacular!

It is definitely one of Calgary’s gems, and worth checking out if you’re new to the city. I come here all the time!

My favorite feature is the massive curved glass roof, which let’s in all that beautiful sunshine, providing plenty of natural light… even during the cold winter months.

The Devonian gardens are worth coming here for alone. Beautiful trees, water features, and fish. A great place to relax, read a book, and listen to some piano music while you bask in some tropical humidity. Palm trees in Calgary? Yup!

The top floor food court is bathed in sunlight and provides plenty of variety for eating. Bourbon Grill, Edo, Villa Madina, A&W, Thai Express, Greek XPress, Sushi Shop, etc… Just don’t forget to try a sweet crepe or delicious gelato afterwards at Froshberg Gelato. If you want a nice coffee afterwards with European style pastry, then Les Moulins La Fayette on the ground floor will be your destination.

With just over 120 shops it definitely does not provide as much variety as Chinook or Market mall but there is plenty here to accommodate the urban lifestyle. There is also a dedicated area for kids to play in, featuring a mini climbing wall.

The mall is conveniently located in the downtown core and easily accessible via C-train and bus. Pick-up and drop-off is on 3rd St. The parkade is accessible on 4th St. Parking is FREE after 3:00pm for 3 hours, and then a $2 flat rate thereafter.

The famous Stephen Ave walk is right next door so you’re ready for a beautiful stroll all the way down to Olympic Plaza.

I go here because of My Sewing Room and of course HomeSense!
This mall has the potential to be great, but it falls short in several areas. There is a noticeable presence of homeless individuals at every corner, indicating a lack of security. I'm not sure who the area director is, or if there even is one, but this needs attention. The upstairs area, with its beautiful plants and fish, suffers due to water restrictions, leaving the pond green and murky. Additionally, the stores cater mostly to older people rather than younger shoppers. Overall, this is more of a walking, business and fun mall rather than a shopping destination.
I really love this mall in Calgary. Both the green area and food service are on the same floor. Great!! There are also many options in the Core shopping centre, including banks and some stores.
Great mall downtown. The garden area is SO beautiful, hardly feels like a mall. I always visit when I’m in Calgary.

Has a fair bit of amenities for a smaller mall. There is a clinic, veterinarian, grocery store, restaurants, bakery, shoppers pharmacy, bank, etc.

The best part of the mall is the food court, which is located on the last floor of the mall building. Great atmosphere, and it gives visitors the opportunity to relax and spend time with their loved ones.
The pharmacy is A1+++. They know you by name and are fabulous looking after our needs!
Post office and many more much needed services like cellphone, laptop, garage remote repair place

Very strange smell when you walk in the doors. Unfortunately this place has gone really down hill over the years. I'd love to see a renovation with the Coop that used to be next to it with something new and exciting. Hopefully they can turn this place around and clean it up a bit
Core shopping centre is very calm and cosy place that It gives you a pleasant relaxation. The unique architecture of this mall and the use of a glass roof make the interior of the mall benefit from direct sunlight and create a very good feeling for visitors. Also, the presence of very beautiful and green natural plants as well as a pond full of colorful fishes has provided immense positive energy on the fourth floor next to the food court.

Found this cute gem of a place right beside London drugs on Macleod Trail and Heriage Trail.
Great friendly service, food was great, and will return to try other things.
On this trip, I got the Korean BBQ sub #4.
And my daughter got the beef Pho. Both taste amazing, and I really enjoyed the food.
Good place for the rest and library and weight room and gymnasium and swimming pools all over good place

This mall is absolutely dead , its depressing to even walk threw ...surprisingly still open for business but completely clueless as to how anyone stays in operation because there are no customers...knock it down and build condos or something useful. So dirty. A lot of homeless
I don't like this mini mall anymore they took out the food court and the dollar store. It only has a few shops left nothing really to go and look at

this used to be such an active mall that was full of life and happiness before, even when there used to exist a food court.
In there too back when I have eat in there but since now this mall
Is basically a ghost town which it is sad to see it dead and can be
Known for having homeless people in this mall... There is no security after 2pm. Students are noisy and not clean
There have even been homeless people who died there.
Core Shopping Mall offers a premium shopping experience with its diverse range of upscale retailers, modern design, and convenient central location, making it a top destination for fashion-forward shoppers and dining enthusiasts alike.

Always a good place to pick up what you're looking for. Good selection of items for a good price. Friendly staff and a nice clean store.
Great place to go to buy transit passes. There is a library, a newcomer place, and to bring children for swimming.

There's a really great Ukrainian restaurant in this plaza. I ordered cabbage rolls that were amazing, and while I waited, they gave me some free samples that were really good and made me purchase more.
I recommend this place to everyone.

Sprawled in 14 acres and a venue of over 120 sophisticated stores of various kinds, the Core Shopping Centre is a high end mall in the heart of downtown, Calgary, accessible by Calgary transit. In fact, it is right on the 3rd street LRT's east bound platform. Moreover, it is in the proximity of the Calgary tower and the famous Stephen Avenue -the Walk Street - known as the pedestrian mall.

The best feature that sets apart this mall from other aristocratic malls; however, is the 2.5 acre alluring garden, a children playground with lots of enticing equipment, and a 1,000 seat food court with numerous eateries.

Although the beautifully crafted mall has all the ingredients required to attract multitude of shoppers and visitors, unfortunately, it closes its doors at 6:00 pm.

Owing to the long summer days, it is desirable that the mall remain open until 9:00 pm.

This is a nice winners. This winners has a good amount of selection carrying products like homecare, men's clothes, women's clothes, children's items, toys, kitchenware, houseware, bedding, and electronics. If you're in the area and need a Winners I would recommend this location

The store next to London Drugs has great drinks
I love to visit the dollar tree at this location. Although they always seem to have stock everywhere, they have tons of affordable items at a super reasonable price. It sure helps a person save money on everyday items that a person may want or need.

The stores here are nice - it's a pretty good variety (of the discount type!). The parking lot seems under-maintained and super crammed for the amount of traffic that goes through here though. It really needs to be redone and the stalls need to be made wider. It would also be helpful if a few "stop" or "yield" signs were put up - not that people would follow them anyway. I avoid coming into this parking lot as much as possible... Not the worst parking lot in Calgary, but at the bottom of the list for sure.

Good shopping center! Absolutely love that they have Winners, Once Upon A Child, and The Shoe Company all in one place! I can make one stop to shop for everything my children need, clothing wise!
The plus side to this location is that it's the Halloween season and they have Spirit of Halloween right there! All time favorite place to shop for Halloween!
