We have 4 small children and it's hot out we stop by this church often and let the kids play after a hot day. Was told this evening that the kids aren't allowed to play here because we aren't part of the church. Didn't ask us to join didn't care. Probably not a good church very embarrassing

Kind of conflicted on how to review fellowship I've met some of the kindest people I know in this church. At the same time the small groups this church has don't have very good messages. They tend to be kind of judgemental towards people of the LDS and Catholic church I have heard them say down putting things toward them multiple times. Another thing about this church they tend to talk about the rapture way to much.
Super friendly church! People and kids of all ages!

I love our church, its a big church with a small church vibe. Its awesome to have pastors speaking truth and not afraid to advocate what the bible says ! I have been going to Fellowship for 4 years and it’s definitely a family feeling there and has helped my growth and understanding of the Bible and has changed my life in so many ways! Our book store is also so special and fun to shop! Shoutout to all our Pastors and staff .
Went to Sundays service with the family and we were welcomed right from the beginning, the kids loved it, and the sermon was very nice. I’ve been looking for a church to join and the fellowship seems like a perfect fit for my family, can’t wait for this upcoming Sunday 😁🙏

The singers sound so good, they could each do a recording contract - and the musician’s are amazing!
The sermon’s are engaging and insightful.
We often go home and listen to them again online!
Great place with great staff. They have ministries for both children and adults and they really make lasting relationships with everyone there. The kids can learn and have fun while the parents get great life advice and preachings. They have a coffee shop and book store that really encourage growth of relationships with others and God. They have great classes and Bible Study groups for both adults and youth. They are more modern than traditional churches but still hold onto the word of God.
Don’t do it, don’t even try!!!
Started going here in 2019 and showed up to different events, joined choir and until Jan 2023 I tried to fellowship with the congregation. Joining classes, trying to volunteer, joined choir and the welcome I received was less than warm. Everyone has their little cliques and one of the choir leaders is one of those women who hate every other woman no matter what. She’s grouchy and demanding and very rude. The rest of the girls seem to follow suit same with the guys. Before I joined this church I was a member of the church I grew up in and was always treated with such warmth, was expecting that from Fellowship but never felt like I belonged once. Spent 4 years trying to make friends and be more part of the congregation and NOTHING!!! Last fall I was diagnosed with lupus, I told my choir leader and she was sorry. Not once did any other person or her reach out try and check up on me or see how life was going, I got really depressed and I finally decided I am not gonna be treated like that anymore! All they cared if I was well enough to go to choir meeting and if not they would just be like “ok” really?!?!? I joined a new church just this last week and my husband and I were treated with the warmest welcome and felt like we belong. If you want to experience high school clicks all over again this is definitely the church for you! And in all honesty the choir sucks there’s too many people in the leaders only care if they sound good. Never thought I would actually have to leave a church a review like this. But better me than my husband.
This church is 100% true to the word of our Lord God. There is no added agenda or theatrics. This church follows the Word, and the Word alone.
I have been attending Heritage Church for over a decade. My wonderful church family has always made me feel loved and at home there. Most importantly, the solid, Bible-based teaching is most excellent!
I've attended Heritage Church since 2021 and have been baptized here as well. The fellowship is humble, loving and encouraging. The Word of God is exposited and preached by faithful men that love the Lord and His precepts.
I love Heritage church. Excellent preaching and wonderful people. We visit every time we are in Grand Junction. The church has a lot to offer for people of all ages, including kids and families.
Great place to worship. The people are very friendly and welcoming. They preach the word verse by verse and explain it in a way anyone can understand. They go through whole books of the bible not leaving anything out. They do expository preaching, which helps you understand what the bible means in context.
Great down to earth and upright in the Lord place of worship. It has been nice to follow the development of the relocation of Heritage Church from back in its Patterson Road days. One of the large challenges all churches face is the need to avoid becoming absorbed in tradition, to the extent where the walks of individuals bog down in patterns and habits rather than reflecting the fresh originality of God's direct leadership, as well as the truthful vitality of being actual doer's of the Word through the Biblical scriptures. The meaning of the word, "Heritage," is very similar to, "Tradition," so it is lovely to witness this portion of the body of Christ accomplish such a renewal as this move, some years ago now, entailed. It demonstrates healthy heritage free from the bogging effect. Many churches struggle with the balance of incitement to love and the stringency that obedience involves. Heritage Church demonstrates the secret truth that through love people are convinced to become arduous, deeply loyal disciples, and our strictness grows through love until it finds its way through the straight gate. Loving churches do not jettison the truth as inconvenient baggage, making way for fancier shows in hopes of attracting larger crowds; rather love lights the flame of adoration of God's law. An aesthetic of timeless simplicity will prevail. We conform not to the world, but to the ways of the Kingdom. If you visit the Western Slope area occasionally and have the taste for the milk of the word, Heritage Church is a good option. If you are bored and looking for Christianized entertainment at the cost of a donation in the passed hat, there are many venues for that too.
Had the pleasure of visiting Heritage Church on a recent trip to Grand Junction. Location is very convenient, near the university and easily visible from 12th Street. The building itself is attractive and clean and the chairs were comfortable.
The welcome I received from the moment I walked in, to the time that I left after service was a real pleasure. It was nice to see a wide age range and many families there to learn and worship together. The message was illuminative and drawn directly from the scripture passage for the day. The music was enjoyable and engaging, allowing the congregation to participate and worship together. It was an excellent way to come together and prepare hearts and minds for the message to come. I look forward to visiting again in the future when I'm in the area. Highly recommended.
