Never been yet
I’ve been here for 6 months and love this church. They’re focused on the right things, their pastors care, they work to make “big church” function with real community and discipleship–it’s an amazing place to be a part of.
Right out of the gate: I’m a senior citizen and I harken back to 1975 when Pastor Bill Richey began Crossroads in a high school auditorium… attended on a regular basis and witnessed the continued growth largely based and Pastor’s relevant teaching style, how his honesty, a true connection to his congregation and his exemplary persona embraced what a “real church environment” is all about…
Bill is gone and welcome to the Vancouver’s wanna-be mini-mega church… I’m shaken by the transition… and interesting that Crossroads has also abandoned the segment of their membership that actually paid the bills… Oh Well!
Horribly disappointed in Crossroads. They checked my friends, teenage daughter's bag for a gun after walking her blonde hair blue eyed best friend out to her car. How could this not be racial profiling? The head of security wasn't impressive in my opinion. He tried to explain they randomly check bags but I've never witnessed that. His reasoning was because she was wearing a small cross body bag. I also wear one but wasn't approached today or any other visit! I've never witnessed anyone else being checked for guns while attending either. We never heard what she did to be "suspicious". Just told to have a blessed day and that it wasn't because of racial profiling. #lamesauce #dobetter #teenagegirl

I attend here every week. Been going for about 5 months. Been to a plenty of churches over my years. Some good some move along. They are not judgy! Just real people who understand people.
Seems like a good congregation. Rather large church, if you prefer a smaller church, this is not the one for you.

Like coming home to family
I've been part of this church for over 20 years, and it has always felt like home. Pastor Daniel Fusco brings a genuine, relatable approach that connects with all ages, and the choir, led by Pastor Amira, Daniel, and Matt, delivers an incredible experience.

The coffee shop, run by transitional youth, adds a special touch, offering more than just coffee—it’s about supporting their growth. Even though it’s a large church, the sense of community is strong, especially through smaller groups like the women’s Bible study. It’s a welcoming place where everyone can feel at home.

Word of God is preached, Holy Spirt is moving and the love the of God is evident!
I love my church. Pastor Daniel is such a great leader and I absolutely love all the people that I have met and I love the missional aspect of transforming our community and the world as Jesus told us to become disciples and to go out into the world and make disciples.
Good message by the pastor. An inviting atmosphere. The congregation is friendly and genuinely happy to see new faces .I think I'll be back next week. Oh, a couple pics outside the church

This is one of those churches to avoid.
The elders of Living Water ordained a man who pronounced the wrath of God on me for having opposed a pastoral candidate who disbelieves the Biblical doctrine of the literal 6-day creation as recorded in Genesis 1 & 2. (The man did say that that the doctrine of Creation is tertiary - but that I'm subject to the wrath of God for not believing as he does over it.) In other words, I'm damned to hell for believing and teaching a literal 6-day creation.
In his further effort to discredit and marginalize me, he received and then repeated the gossip that I had said that a woman who has had an abortion is going to hell. (The lady whom I purportedly said this to stated to me in writing that I DID NOT say this or anything similar to her.)
The elders, John Seavey, David Brashler, Brian Ehline, and one or two others, ordained the man who violated several of the requirements God has commanded an elder must meet. These elders failed to do one of the most important duties they have - to guard the truth. For this reason, we left this church.
This is one church to avoid.
December 2021 addendum: I see Living Water ordained another man who had wrote to me that I was bringing reproach on Christ's name by pointing out the pastor-candidate's beliefs. Another un-qualified elder!
In my opinion, the Wrath-of-God elder has made this church into his image.

Been a part of this ministry since it began and The River Church has always been unique by balancing in depth study of the word with the powerful move of God's Spirit.

The unadulterated Words of God is preached and taught here. Sometimes it is a feel good word and sometimes it is an uncomfortable word- but it is always the whole counsel of God, and always done in love.

One of the greatest Spirit-filled churches I’ve been to in my life & in Portland/Vancouver areas. Love the pastors: Joshua & Sarah Alvarez as well as Milton Alvarez. Super anointed presence of God in their sanctuary. Thank you Jesus for helping me so much. #blessedup

This church both embraces the Hebrew roots and The Holy Spirit in their workship and study approach, which encompasses all that Yeshua (Christ) taught and commanded us to do. The environment is welcoming and the members are more than kind. I recommend this church as one that both promotes the worship of Adoni (God) and personal growth. Come in and be blessed!!
