Top Grocery stores in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany

Love how big the commissary is compared to the one we always go to in Brunssum since it’s closer. Sometimes they are out of stock of the things we like but it’s a bigger base so it’s expected. Other than that it’s nice and clean & the set up great. Has a nice variety of stuff as well.

Today was a great day, i met the christmas man and i have been the happiest, and it has made my whole week. I love that one of the elves encouraged us to go take a picture! All of them are so perfectly beautifully dressed and so nice and polite.

The building is big and relatively new.

-However, they do an atrocious job of lining product up next to the appropriate price tags.
-The prices are generally high, even after accounting for inflation, and particularly compared to similar items in German stores. Produce prices and (ironically) prices on German brands are the few areas where the commissary is competitive vs. German stores.
-Also, they are constantly out of really basic stuff, particularly dry goods, which should be the easiest items to keep in stock. I swear the Commisarries in the Pacific (with far more difficult supply chains) do a better job of stocking items.

the only place that i like to get pho or spring rolls at nearby Vogelweh. You can shop while waiting for your order, staff are always welcoming.

Pretty nice little Asian market. Prices aren’t high but it’s more of a speciality shop than like a budget Asian market/shop

The restaurant side is really good and is never crazy busy. So it makes a good lunch option. Mostly Pho options but they have Ramen now too. And Thai Tea also! Really tasty and a nice local spot

It’s crazy to me that a commissry in Germany can have more out of stock items and for longer than one on a Japan island..

Sometimes they are out of stock of the things I love, but honestly that makes sense since it's not America, I just have to get there on restock days

Went shopping here for the first time they had everything I needed and more! Very nice environment and the cashier was so sweet me and my hubby will be coming back for sure and try out the pho 🍲

Worst commissary I have ever seen, from 1987 to now. Repeatedly stocking their shelves with alternative products they are trying to sell. Very nice staff though.

The best PHO in the area! Always a good experience when we eat here and my Favorite part is the little shop built in that I can buy all my Asian goods at a decent price. The food and service are top notch here!

Can’t order birthday cakes over the phone, when I called asked if I could order a cake I was told “yes” transferred to the bakery.
I asked to place an order with the bakery and was told I could come in place an order.
I asked why I couldn’t do it over the phone, and they said it was policy because it would be unfair to get ahead of someone in the store.
I asked if there was a line to order a cake and I was told no, there was no one there at all. It’ll be easy for me to drive there and order in person…
Which makes so much sense- let me drive 20 minutes onto base to order a cake because it would be unfair to order over the phone ahead of “no one”. Yeah, no thanks.

I t had a lot of good stuff. We always shop and eat there. People are very friendly as well.

Large Comissary. You can find about everything you need there. Sometimes the cashiers are unfriendly as was one experience I had about plastic bags. I wanted a few (3) to finish packing outside the store as it was quite busy and this cashier told me no more bags. I was shocked and so was the person behind me. This was the first and only time I never said thank you to a cashier,bagger ir comissary worker. When I go there to shop again, I will refuse to say it again. She has lost my respect.There is plenty of parking and plenty of great people who are friendly and are willing to help to include the manager.

If you are looking for Asian goods, specifically Vietnamese (although she has a variety) this is your store! It is run by a super sweet Vietnamese lady and is not only a store front but a pho restaurant! The variety of goods that she has honestly beats out every other Asian store we've been to in Germany. It is super organized and very competitively priced! This is for sure our new go to spot. Can't wait to try the pho!

The store has good selection of Asian products. Philippines, China, Vietnam and Thai products can be found in this store. The price are also affordable and the store owner I believe is very sweet and helpful. 😊 Come check it out!
