Top Grocery stores in New Malden, United Kingdom

A well presented Korean/Asian supermarket. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area. Was however slightly disappointed to find most items on shelves here can be easily found in central London as well. So it’s not as unique as I had hoped :(

Super crowded in the weekend. Fair prices and great choices of produce. The aisles are quite narrow. The fish section is quite smelly. Plenty of parking but can get full during saturday rush.

The best Asian supermarket to buy Chinese, Korean or Japanese food. The fishmonger and the butcher inside also very good.

I shop here often. I'd say it's the best Korean supermarket in the UK and maybe in Europe too. They have a variety of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Asian items. They are fresh, good price and high quality. Plus, they sometimes have good promotions for some items. I definitely recommend this for Asian grocery shopping.

Huge supermarket that sells large variety all things Korean! They also sell fresh produce: fish, meat, veg & fruit etc.
Have some isles that cover Japanese and Chinese goods.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in New Malden!
Every Saturday they usually do promos where you can try their products, such as Gyozas
Expect to queue for the till during peak times: weekday late afternoons, weekends.

Place is huge and has a variety of items (fresh, chilled, frozen and packed); easy spend 1 hour+ there as you look for Korean and Asian groceries/ items. Parking is free (2 hour is free for customers based on the signage). Although there is plenty of parking, it does get packed.

Worth a visit if you are heading into New Malden with a car.

Worst customer service ever.

I purchased a label for Yodel as their map shows a collection/drop off point at this shop near me. I came there and they rejected to take my parcel saying they do not take yodel. Yodel should remove this point from their map. Now I will need to spend another hour to go to another dropp off point

Rude and disrespectful owners shouldn’t be running the local community post office extremely rude

I gave them one star because there is nothing less. They are not worthy to work in a shop because their treatment is very bad and disrespectful. I waited more than ten minutes to receive my order even though I was the only one in the shop, but she was busy talking on the phone and laughing. I have never seen worse than them.

This cost 1pound.... ridiculous pricing.. at other Asian markets .. i get a bigger bunch for less than 80 cents that lasts atleast 2 weeks....this curry leaves bunch wouldn't last even a week..

The guy working there refused to give me my parcel after giving him my identification, tracking number. Name and address.
He kept saying no and making silly excuses up also pretending my parcel wasn’t there even tho we could see it. Just he was making everything awkward and clearly didn’t like me for some reason. Just tried withholding my parcel illegally for no reason. Even after I’d given him my tracking number he asked for it again 5 to 6 times each time stating he needs my tracking number. I’d checked it over and and it clearly matches the code on the box. He didn’t even scan the qr code. stupidity!!! Be careful of this shop.

I’ve reported them to trading standers. Be carful of your parcel going to this store. One of the guys that work there he’s very unhelpful doesn’t like women. And refuses to give people their parcels. I had such an awful experience with him.

Fabulous couple run this newsagents, post office as well. All the usual stuff. It's still amazing, and they deliver your daily paper as well.

Haven't compared to the other shops near it so can't say if market rate there, but will avoid.

Bought 3 sweet potatoes cost almost £4. Garlic glove unuseable mouldy and totally out of any date. Will never shop here again

Terrible experience. They couldn't scan my parcels or able to print a label for me. So left me standing there to serve other customers after I had waited 10 minutes to be served

Helpful staff, a small selection of food, drinks and other groceries, but not the cheapest place around and a surprisingly high volume of greetings cards available.

Excellent customer service, always chatty staff and handy with free parking outside with a post office too - stocks all essentials at a reasonable price

The owners are very hard working and very helpful to customers, they provide a great service to the community. The shop has a wide range of goods and also it operates as a post office.
