One of the best Thai places I’ve been too. They also have southern Thai cuisine which I haven’t seen elsewhere. Be sure to get there early as they don’t take reservations, so the wait can become a long later on.

The spicy brown fried rice is amazing especially if you enjoy the flavour of massaman curry. The khua kling phat lung was a nice curry with a heavy flavour of turmeric, which I hadn’t tried before. The southern curry also is great and can get real spicy. The spring rolls are nice but nothing extraordinary about them.

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Pasta Roma for over a decade. We either order delivery through UberEats or go in person. We have tried other places and nothing beats this place. The food is delicious and we especially love the ability to customize our entrees to our liking, even if it means paying extra. It's well worth it! Service is great and just what you expect from a cafeteria style restaurant. This is not a fancy Italian restaurant so set your expectations appropriately. They are great nonetheless and ironically, I prefer them over some of these fancy Italian restaurants I've been to. Prices are super reasonable and I have yet to dislike something. Thank you Pasta Roma!

Great place I love the Beacon Avocado Cheese Burger it's delicious breakfast is delicious and also not too expensive
This is by far the best Persian food in Los Angeles. The beef koobideh is the best. Service and environments are ok. Highly recommended.
Good Persian fast food. It is known for its flavorful and aromatic dishes that are a delight for the taste buds. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including kebabs, stews, and rice dishes. The kebabs are grilled to perfection, with juicy and tender meat that is full of flavor. The stews are rich and hearty, with a combination of meat, vegetables, and aromatic spices. And the rice dishes are a culinary masterpiece, with fluffy and fragrant grains that are the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Whether you're craving a quick and satisfying lunch or a leisurely dinner with friends, Persian fast food is always a delicious choice.
The food taste is just like you dine in Thailand. Chicken Kolea (grilled red curry paste with coconut milk chicken) is very yummy and it is also very hard to find in Thailand.

We are big Food Network fans, so had to pay a visit to local celebrity chef Jazz (featured with Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay).
The menu is HUGE, but you can order some of the "starred items" which was helpful. I recommend sticking with the "Southern Thai" page of the menu if you want to try something new outside of your usual Thai staples..
The Crying Tiger dish was my favorite!

We went with medium spice level which was perfect for a bit of heat but not overwhelming.

Food came out very quickly and service was friendly.
Jazz even goes around greeting all guests and is super sweet.

Absolutely the BEST Iranian food I ever had, WOW!!!!!
The service was spot on, such hospitable staff
Can’t wait to come back again
A very unique Thai restaurant that’s a cut above most others. Had the Jazz burger, which was originally made by the owner as an American-Thai dish for her children. It was very good and quite the experience. Would definitely come back again to try out more items on their massive menu.

Arrived in Tehrangeles.. ✨
As a lover of Persian cuisine, I recently had dining at Taste of Tehran, a Persian community located in Westwood, Los Angeles.

The cozy atmosphere at Taste of Tehran instantly transports you to the heart of Iran. The friendly staff welcomed us with warm smiles, and their attentive service made our meal even more enjoyable.

Koobideh kabob! 😍Marinated to perfection, these juicy and tender skewers had just the right amount of crunch.

Mast-o-Mousir is a must-try! Tangy, sour, and thick, mixed with chopped shallots. We ordered one for the meal and another to savor throughout the week.

We got the Pumpkin Red Snapper ($24.95) and the Green Tiger Prawns ($33.95), and asked for less spicy. The sauces were a little spicy for me, but I was still able to eat it. The pumpkin red snapper was tasty, although it seemed like it had a lot of batter. There wasn’t a lot of fish pieces. The green tiger prawns come with 5 pieces, and it was super tender. I also enjoyed this curry because it was slightly sweet. The menu is very extensive here, so lots of options. Overall enjoyed the dishes, but they were quite pricey for the size.
The owners & staff of this place were SO NICE, I was even given a free dessert (bamieh) to try & take home just as I was about to leave!

Foodwise, everything started out strong. The Chicken & Beef Koobideh kebabs with the zereshk polo are a few of the things you MUST ORDER.

One thing I regret the most before coming here is not making more space to order more other options I could have picked, including the ash reshteh & ghormeh sabzi.

My advice? Order the Chicken & Beef Koobideh kebabs with zereshk polo, and make yourself some stomach space so you can order more!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jitlada Restaurant and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the evening.

The Pad Thai Tamarind (Vegetarian) customized with fried tofu (without egg), was an absolute delight. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The Vegetable Fried Rice (without egg) was equally impressive, with its vibrant colors and fresh ingredients tantalizing my taste buds with every forkful.

My husband couldn't resist trying the Koong Pear (Shrimp) and it's easy to see why it's one of the restaurant's most popular dishes. The crispy exterior gave way to succulent shrimp, enveloped in a delicious coconut and basil coating that left us craving more.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the owner, Jazz Singsanong, for creating such a welcoming and delicious dining experience. Her passion for her restaurant and dedication to providing top-notch cuisine was evident in every aspect of our visit. Jazz is truly a wonderful lady and her presence adds an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to an already exceptional dining establishment.

Overall, our experience at Jitlada was nothing short of outstanding. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food and genuine hospitality.
I did not like the service. They served the chicken Alfredo before my Vegetarian Pizza. When the pizza got there the pasta was cold . Word of Advice you are supposed to feed both meals together so the people could eat together not separately. And also I ordered a Ceasar Salad they forgot my bread. They gave it to me after I ate my salad. Really? The Food taste good. I give credit to the cooks at least.
The food is Bangkok'in Delicious! (See what I did there?)

Its a good take out place for sure.

I actually had a great taco from a stand on the side street next to it while I was waiting while my buddy ran into KhunDom for our order. Good green salsa.

PadThai was great 👍

I went for the first time and did a long line it was a girl in the area were you suppose to order your food but she didn’t ask me nothing. She look at me and turn around to keep doing some packing orders, so I keep going to the register where you suppose to pay. I stand in there for 30 minutes until the other girl ask me about my order and I was so confuse about it. Then she explain me how things work in there. Is very bad customer service, for people who never being there is very confusing especially if the young girl that is taking orders is not very friendly and helpful. I just walk out because by the time I look behind me it was a long line and I was hungry.

Great service but had to go back to try different flavors .. still thought the tuna mayo was the best ! This place isn’t as busy as there other LA location! We had the mushroom one this time and I wish it was a little more saucy because it just tasted a bit dry. Still glad we tried it though !

A Hidden gems. Authentic Thai Food. Parking is a little tight and pretty small dine in area, but definitely worth it.
Loved the beef koobideh kabob plate, grilled to juicy perfection. The accompanying salad, yogurt dressing, and rice were also good.

Also had the trio sampler of:

Mast Khiar
Veggie. Gluten free. Yogurt mixed with chopped Persian cucumber and mint.

Addas Polo Veggie. Gluten free. Rice mixed with lentil, raisin, date and fried onion.

Roasted Eggplant Dip
Veggie. Gluten free. Roasted and seasoned eggplant with caramelized onion, fried mint and a yogurt sauce topping.

The yogurt dip was refreshing, the mixed rice perfect (if only this came with the kabob plates), and the eggplant dip was finely mixed.

Service was fast. The ambiance felt very down to earth.

I can only speak from a food pick up perspective, but for the affordable price point it's Soo good! definitely recommend their California roll, salmon skin and Philadelphia roll! We typically get four roll and two miso soups which is just perfect for us and for about ~$50 for a whole meal for two not bad at all! definitely will eat in next opportunity

Passing through and stopped for lunch... Love the menu, lots to choose from. They have a drive through which was nice. I had the chicken sandwich with chili fries. Their chicken sandwich has lettuce, tomato, and bacon on a burger bun.. did not disappoint. The chili fries were also very good. Paid about $18 with a drink, about as expected... and they have Strawberry soda, haven't seen that anywhere else!! 😁

Went here yesterday for the first time with friends. I was told it was an awesome onigiri shop and thus was interested. The place had a few people but it was not very busy by any means. I ordered the miso beef, miso mushroom and the monthly special A5 Wagyu. Service was quick and everything was quick. The miso beef was okay. The miso mushroom was delicious.

The A5 Wagyu… holy mother of god. My partner and I split it and honestly regretted getting it. It was horrendously salty and overpeppered. Our mouths burned from the over abundance in black pepper. EVEN THE RICE was overseasoned. I wondered if the person who made it lost their sense of taste.

I wish I could give the miso mushroom a 5 star on its own (the miso beef would be a 2/5), but the offensive flavors of the Wagyu was just so bad. If I come back, I would only get the miso mushroom. I’m too leery to get anything else.

Awesome Italian place! Very rare to see a real Italian spot in LA that is not pretentious/over-priced with tiny portions. Big portions here, lots of options, and a great blend of pasta and pizza! Nothing else like it in LA. You feel like you’re back home in NYC! Imagine Sbarros but real food and way more options and you’ll get a good idea of this diamond in the rough. For the true foodies, not the snobs! 🍝

Cool little hidden sushi spot. From the outside looks unassuming but the place is good. Definitely check out their board specials.
The UCLA area has so many Persian food options but we were happy with our choice of Taste of Tehran. The chicken and lamb were exceptionally tender, well cooked with just the right spices. Like most Persian restaurants there is a large serving of rice and thin bread as an appetizer. Service was quick and efficient although seating was a little tight for groups larger than 6 and the restaurant itself was small and can fill up quickly. Would definitely go again.
As Guy F. says in the poster affixed to the first window, this place is the real deal!

There is a certain depth of flavor that you can only experience in places that have a long and inspired history to complement an equally rich and diverse culture.

Every single dish I've had here gave me a new culinary experience that was equal parts unique and soul-warming.

It's one of the few places in LA where I'd say you can order anything and be happy.

The water spinach (cress) in curry as well as the jitlada comelette were absolutely insane and I couldn't stop eating and tasting new parts of the latter.

All around, perfect spice levels as well. That flavorful heat that makes you sweat a tad, but not need to fan off your mouth and not enjoy the next bite.

Service is fantastic and well tended to. It has a bit of a classic Thai place feel where it doesn't take itself too seriously and the focus is on the food, but the wait staff is attentive in a non stuff way. Perfect. Also the interior is dope and plenty of things to tend to as conversation starters. The tables are a bit close together and arranged for maximum capacity so there's a little bit of overhearing and being close to others, but to be honest it really feels like that's what helps me it a genuine Thai dining experience. 10/10

Update 9/14/23: I got the Farfalle Gustose this time, and it was REALLY good (9/10). It’s a bowtie pasta w/ mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, baby shrimp, and basil in a light cream sauce. I added chicken too.
———————————————-
We ordered Pasta Roma to work for lunch. The salmone pizza was surprisingly so good (8/1). Definitely threw me off at first because it seemed like a pizza version of a lox-bagel. I got the spinach alfredo which was a 4/10 and the salmon was very salty. The cream linguini pastas with shrimp and scallop were 8/10 and pretty solid. The tomato pasta was also pretty solid. Marg pizza was ok 6/10. I would order from here again. What I like the most about this place is the affordability and the variety in menu.

I enjoy eating Sunny Blue at Washington Blvd. which is good and delicious. I enjoy eating the Miso Beef, Sunny Blue Curry, Tokyo Tori, Spicy Salmon, and Hijiki Omusubi. They have many good and different kinds of Omusubi. If you order the Omusubi to Go they will cover the Omusubi like in the Japanese Market and they will put a sticker on the one you order. And it is next to the restaurant that I recently went called Humble Potato. So this is a good place for Lunch or a nice Snack.

Oh my goodness, their food is AMAZING!!!
Best lasagna I’ve had, like, ever! Really good flavor and super home style, meaty flavors.
The carrot cake is to die for, too! The cream cheese is so good and it’s slightly cooled so it doesn’t crumble all over the place and it makes the perfect consistency.
They made everything exquisitely, had everything done in twenty minutes or less, even, and had great customer service!
Definitely one of my new fave spots!
Thanks so much!! (:

Rich menu with variety of options for pretty much everyone. Food tasted good, we ordered four different dishes including a sandwich and everyone was satisfied with their plate. I took away one star from the full mark raring for one reason: the Linguine with Shrimp had 6 pieces (literally) of shrimps only. This is unacceptable for $16.99+tax meal!

Tried the Crying Tiger (barbecued beef dish) and Pad Thai w/ pork.

The beef was plain but when you dip it in the lime/cilantro/chili sauce that it comes with, it's so flavorful. Chewy meaty texture smothered in sour and herbal flavors w/ a ting of spice, which kicks in once it reaches the throat.

The pad thai was good, but not my type. I love the kind that has a nice balance between sweet/sour/salty/spicy but leaning on the sweeter side. This one was pretty much on the salty/sour side. But still good! I'd recommend sharing the plate though; it started feeling like "too much" after eating like a quarter of the dish.

Individually, those two dishes were good, but I wouldn't recommend them as a combo (they don't complement each other at all haha).

Portions: good for their prices.
Service: nice.
Interior: family style, comfy
Parking: I street parked on Hobart & walked like 3 minutes

I go here for the shrimp/steak rolls (#3d) - amazing. The steak is lean and tender and the flavor combo when paired with the shrimp is incredible. Served with a side of fish sauce, these Vietnamese rolls are the best I've had anywhere.

#15 Bun (grilled chicken, grilled shrimp & egg roll) and #17 Bun (grilled pork) served over cold vermicelli rice noodles are also highly recommended.

Cash only on Sunday - weird.

Delicious food and great service. To all who complain about the price -- the menu is online and the price is known ahead of time. If you don't like the prices, why come here in the first place? You get what you pay for.
