Second worst Chinese food place. Most of the 5 star reviews must be fake. I ordered food to go. After I wrote down a 20.3% tip, the lady made me feel bad for not putting enough. One item I ordered no spicy but it was so spicy that I could not eat it at all. Another item was deep fried but drenched in oil. The other item was the walnut shrimp which has a thick layer of bread with tiny shrimp inside. The place was dirty and dated.
Very good food with a couple vegetarian options. Beware however -- if you ask for removal of eggs, peanuts, etc. -- they may not follow it. On one dish we asked for the removal of egg and on the other the removal of peanuts, and the staff did not follow either request. After asking only they gave us a new plate promptly. However, the food was great and reasonably priced.
Food was not what we expected. We've been coming here for a while and today the food was poorly made. Orange Chicken was all batter and extremely chewy I couldn't eat it, chowmain was over cooked with no flavor. Was not happy about my food. Oh and after spending almost $100 they can't give you white rice. They change for plain rice. Won't be going back.
Delicious sandwich - the prosciutto and chicken ciabatta was fresh and so tasty with chicken, prosciutto, tomato, lettuce, mozzarella, basil pesto, and the surprise but brilliant ingredient of crushed honey roasted almonds. Try it out!

Worse experience I requested spicy chicken on the side and they added in my plate this girl gave me attitude 😒 and gave me very small portions so don't get these people mad

You can't describe their food like other Chinese restaurants. They cook for local clients, not what a normal Chinese food quality is or should taste like.

I think express is getting expensive way to expensive. For a small plate 2 items. We end up paying close $35 and their portions. Are getting smaller instead of spending money there? We should have gone to some other place

we got seat it by a waiter and waited for about 15 mins. 2 couples came after us and they took their order right away. we waited for another 10 mins and the waiter never came to take our order . we left disappointed of the bad service today.
First time visiting here- wow- food is very fresh and taste was amazing- had the vegan bahn mi and Philly shroom steak (half sandwiches)- both so good!! Highly recommend.
The employees here try to create an atmosphere of regulars. I think people go here more because of the manager and her team customer service.
One of the few remaining banquet-style Cantonese restaurants in our beloved Chinatown is still holding well on its own. Smaller in stature behind some of the other bigger names and locations, Full House may have been in the shadows, but they have shined in fulfilling staples in Cantonese Cuisine. This is not a Dim Sum restaurant, but you will have dinner favorites with especially fresh seafood varieties. As they may struggled through recent years, there are hits and misses, but you will get a good Cantonese meal with decent service. Parking is street, and/or a couple of local pay lots. Evening hours don't seem to have too many issues in finding street parking within a short walk.
As other reviews have stated, if you can tolerate the service, give this place a try. A lady next to our table ordered appetizers and we got our food before her (even though it appeared as though she had been there for a while, she already had food at her table). Staff delivers your food quietly and doesn't really ask you what you need, you need to speak up. Food is amazing (I got the house noodle soup) and cooked just right. Wait time wasn't too bad but again, service could've been better.

I was refused a refund by the said owner named "КТ". They basically kept my money for an item not consumed/consumable for me given it was THEIR mistake. They evidently do NOT care about customer allergens or dietary restrictions!
Edit* your response is distasteful, like your food. Watch the video again. Your employee was asked what the toppings(to re-confirm) were and he did not know because he was new. I tried the soup when I realized what I did not ask for was on it - your cashier confirmed it so she took the soup back. Why else would she take the soup back to be made again if the order was “correct”? After that, the SAME soup was brought out again with the same topping. If you cannot refund a soup then you should not be in business.
Disputing the charge and filing a report to the BBB.

I have to say the food is soo good.yhe price did go up a little average 15.99 for a shrimp 🍤 fried rice not that big of a plate. But food is good. Parking it's okay different shops there. They also have 🍺. Nice place for family or friends. They have lynch specials.
I really wanted to like the food but the beef curry was not very flavorful and the meat was chewy. The hot and sour soup lacked flavor as well. Just seems like they threw it all together haphazardly. The food gave me the runs.

WPuck’s airport restaurants are notorious for terrible food. This place is exhibit A.
The cashier was very rude, she was an older lady and tossed the pen and receipt at my fianceé. Be respectful, we did not disrespect you or insulted you we simply ordered food. This could have been worse and we could have escalated the situation because of your poor manners.

Overall the food is good don't get me wrong chef in the back is good but now the lady in the front is so rude I just wanted chow mien and orange chicken she was like no combo she said all mean I was like thats fine so I was ready to pay and I guess she had adittude towards me I needed to sign so she threw the pen and paper at me I gave her back the same energy threw it back I ain't the one. Its like she needed some D in her life stop being miserable lady !!!!

This is sad food. There are like no options at this terminal, so my boyfriend and I got a breakfast sandwich. The egg was not fresh. The ham was fatty and the arugula looked bad. So embarrassing for Wolfgang Puck

My family and I came here and me and my dad ordered the same thing but for some reason my food was burnt and full of little black spots, I felt discriminated and uncomfortable eating it so I didn't. I wonder if it's because I'm covered in tattoos (I was the only one with tattoos and the women that work there were just looking at me over an over and talking to each other in their native language) I'm pregnant and was craving what I ordered but I wasn't able to eat it because it was unappetizing and felt paranoid because my food looked different to my dad's considering we order the same item. I left sad and unhappy. They didn't care and made up some excuses when I mentioned it. I didn't eat the food and probably won't go back. Plus it's way too expensive to be dealing with that. My food was burnt and not worth it.
And yes there might be many "good reviews" but if you look through it not every gets a good service, let's me know they do judge and discriminate and choose who they do and don't tend well. SAD. If it was truly a great place: food and service then everyone would be happy to had come here. Sucks.

Very fun first experience. Fried rice was really good. Dumplings were good- but that have PEANUTS, so beware! Wonton soup was good. We didn't enjoy the meat with the bone. Definitely try this place out!
Downtown LA Pho stands out as the perfect spot if you crave authentic Vietnamese Pho right in the heart of the financial district of DTLA. The pho and soup base boast delightful flavors. The staff is exceptionally friendly, providing great service, and the portion sizes are satisfying. However, it's crucial to manage expectations and avoid comparing the food here to the offerings in San Gabriel Valley or Little Saigon area. -1 star for the pricing, but considering the prime location and convenience, it's understandable. I'll certainly return when in the financial district of DTLA and in the mood for Pho.

This place is a complete dump. Don't ever take friends or family there. It is a total embarrassment. Also, check your bill vs menu. I had caught them multiple times charging me more than was printed on the menu. When I confronted them about this, they told me I was looking at an old menu and that prices have gone up. The women who run it was crooked, mean, and treat the customer like dirt.
They are very friendly (first and second from left) + there are great vegetarian options upon request!!

This was our first time here. The food was good the service needs help. They served ketchup with our fried gyoza 🤢. We asked where was the ponze sauce he said no this is what comes with it. I've never had ketchup served with fried goyzas ever. The fried crab was delicious as was the war wonton soup. The War Wonton soup was probably some of the best I've had. The waiter was acting like he was in a rush just to take our order when we just received the menus. We ordered a lot of food because this was our first time here and we all wanted to try different things. The waiter told us that's too much food for us. We should be able to order what we want and how much we want without the server not wanting to add to our order because he thinks it's too much. He got an attitude because we added more to our order. We knew we would have leftovers we just wanted to try items but they were all family-style, so of course it was a lot of food for three people. I think the servers need a course in customer service. I would give them another try hopefully we get a different server.
Delicious food— got two dishes—1. clams and 2. honey walnut shrimp mayonnaise (bf LOVED this) — all came with steamed rice. Convenient parking in plaza. Had a good amount of seating.

Ask to use there rest room witch is in the kitchen, you’ll cancel as soon as you see the kitchen! The place has roaches 🪳 and I seen the chicken on a tray on the floor. We canceled and so did the other 3 families when the walked in the kitchen. That A on the window is definitely bought. JUST ASK TO GO TO THE RESTROOM ITS CLEANER THEN THE KITCHEN!

This is the first Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever tried. I got the “shrimp bun” one day and the shrimp fried rice another day. Both were good. The sauce that you drizzle over your “bun” is what makes it really good. Their fried rice tastes decent initially, but I felt like something was missing. After I drizzled hoisin sauce over it, it tasted way better. Their speciality drinks are really good. I just hate the seeds that are in the drinks. Buying lunch from there can get kind of pricey if you’re getting food AND one of their specialty drinks. Overall, I think it’s a great pick when you don’t mind splurging a little.
We ordered roast duck, snow pea leaves sautéed with garlic, fried pork chops and Hong Kong noodle soup. Everything taste good. The noodle soup broth was great. Recommended.
When in LA and you're craving authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go! I have not not liked a single food I order here. My family has been coming here since in the 90s. Good place for a big or small group. You'll be coming back once you try it.

This is a very unassuming place. It’s in an area where I wouldn’t expect there to be good Chinese food. But here we have it. Very solid, comforting Chinese food for the soul. The prices are all very reasonable, the portions are good, and everything is very well-rounded. What’s great is that they also have lots of seating. I’d say the biggest negative though is parking. I’ve always been lucky to find street parking, but I’m not sure how luck you can get every time.
They shorten the meal portions selectively if your Hispanic or a man they fill up your plate I feel it’s unfair to have a price on a meal and then to not be accurate with the portion size because different ppl grab the food with different amounts they should fill up all the plates all the time I eat here EVERYDAY and the more I come the less food they put in my plate

Out in Los Angeles on a project and needed a quick sandwich for lunch. Mendocino farms was recommended to me and to try the chimichuri steak sandwich.

Amazing food and quick service! You order, pay, and find a seat first, and then the food comes out. I personally like this system, because I didn’t need to wait after finishing my food to leave. We ordered the pork dumplings, potstickers, shrimp wontons, dan dan noodles, and peking meat pie. All of the food was good, and the dumplings were especially delicious. They also had great chili oil. I would definitely come again.
It got really bad. For $13, I got DRY PASTA WITHOUT cabbage and butter, dry old pasta, old shrimp, and yesterday’s dry chicken, the money is not returned to me. I appeal to the management, I ask you to return the money for the old spoiled products!
Based on the reviews regards to services before coming, I wasn't expecting anything and yup, just like those poor reviews on bad services, it's true. Don't expect services here. They don't come check in you; they move around so fast to various tables it was difficult to get their attention.

Easy in and out. Few different sections for food and a bar in one area and close to restrooms and drinking fountains.
I had the pork hash soup, very yummy and flavorful. I also had the vegetable egg rolls. The portions are generous and the service great. Would go again!
This was easily the best Chinese restaurant around and I would go out of my way to get food from here...... However.... Things changed. Their teriyaki chicken used to be so juicy and delicious and is now too dry and even tastes rotten at times.

Well crafted sandwiches and decent sized salads. Had the Turkey Avo and the Cesar, while I liked the sandwich entirely I wished it had more meat. I even ordered extra turkey but it seemed to be only a 2-3 extra slices. Not really worth the extra 2 dollars.
Mendocino is a great but pricey option if you want to treat yourself. My order came up to 32 dollars even though it was just a sandwich and a salad. No regrets though. 😋

Probably the worst margarita pizza I've ever had. The flavor can best be described as burnt crust, with tomato sauce and melted cheese. And that's it. Service left something to be desired. The flow of ordering was extremely weird with having to order a pizza at the kitchen counter. Overall just not great

This pho had me nodding my head from the first slurp. Super clean location, welcoming ambience and just cool vibe. I recommend you try any of the beef pro's. Amazing service and flavors. You gotta come. Run, don't walk and fill your soul.
My fave orange chicken, it actually has the orange zest in it and is so so good. Their chow mein, fried rice, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon are all delicious as well. It’s my go-to hangover couch food!

Authentic Chinese food in China town! Price was really reasonable, compared to other restaurants nowadays. The food was fresh and tasty. French beef and scallop are a must try :) hope you experience same as we did in this restaurant.
Saw a worker here sneeze with his gloved hand near his mouth and then use the same glove to make a sandwich. It also doesn't help that the veggies are probably frozen and defrosted and as someone once said, the bread tastes like it was baked in a dishwasher.
I’ve gone here a few times since I found it. Always good portions and good service. The food is standard fast served Chinese food and the prices are really good too. The 2 kids serving out front are always friendly and efficient 🙂
The Peruvian Steak Sandwich was amazing... was the perfect late lunch treat to end my work day. Lightly toasted and flakey bread, crisp lettuce and the steak... oooh so good.
I paid almost 18.00 for this lunch which was new orange chicken burned! The steak I was given was 3 pieces of steak & the rest vegetables and noodles tasted like plastic I threw away most of this plate since I got more white rice than half and half. I will NEVER return here. Sorry I don’t give reviews good or bad but this was too much!
My friend and I had, the pork belly banh mi salad and the Chinese chicken salad. The pork belly salad was really good, I asked for the dressing on the side to avoid overdressing but I am giving it a three star because for the amount and the style of the salad I felt like it was a bit overpriced (14.95$). The portion wasn’t particularly large either. A good lunch to have if you want to stay energized for the rest of the day. Don’t get me wrong, the food is really really good. It would deserve a four or five star if I had eaten one of their sandwiches (which I have had before) but I’d say for the salad, it’s more bang for your buck if you get their bowls or sandwiches for the same price.
Your typical foodcourt-styled pho in a nice cafe setting. The pho broth isn’t as intense as I would have liked but all things considered, it’s pretty good. Their grilled beef banh mi is okay as well.

Not even worth the 1 star. They did not make half of my order, and told the Uber eats driver it was all there. Bad on both of their ends for not double checking. We waited 1 hour for our large order and didn't even get half of it... we called and asked if the bag was sitting there but they said it wasn't their problem and they can't help us. If you look at the picture of the receipt I posted it will show you they crossed off exactly what we did receive, the rest they marked was EXACTLY what we were missing....do better!!!
I had their Kung Pao chicken and have to say that it’s truly exceptional- it tasted very natural and had the right amount of kick. It was a generous portion and I was very satisfied with my service as well! I’m very grateful to experience this restaurant and hope you will be too!

Ordered Pho Ga for the lunch today. The chicken is tender and the broth is also tasty, I do not feel my mouth dry after drinking the soup.
I enjoyed the salad but it didn't knock my socks off. All of the ingredients were fresh and the had a wide variety of different lettuce, vegetables, fruit, cheese, meat, seeds, and dressings to call out to the attendant to add to your salad. They add all of the ingredients as you walk along the counter calling or pointing them out. At the end after all of the ingredients are added they toss the salad for you. I ordered a large but I should have gotten the medium as I only ate half. The done is closed right now and the soda fountain was not working.
The sizzling shrimp fried rice Soup is so delicious and satisfying to see get served!! Also forgot to take pictures of the normal Chicken fried Rice which is the best I've had ever!
Sesame chicken is just like back on the east coast. If you're missing some "real" (inauthentic) Chinese food and are tired of every LA restaurant serving orange chicken and nothing else that resembles your east coast suburban expectations, this is the place. Only took me 6 years to find. I love it 😍

Every time I order through the app here, I ask for more spinach more cucumber and more onion. I wouldn’t call 3 cucumbers even close to extra. As seen by the sandwich picture they do not look at the instructions when making your sandwich. Not one time , when I order through the app do they look at the instructions. It’s always wrong. I never get the extra ingredients. I also did not receive my sides of sauce. Everyone I write sides of sauce they never remember and I always have to ask because it’s never ready in the bag. Just look at the order when you make the sandwich. Just one time I’d like for them to get the order right.

I wish I tried this restaurant earlier! The dumplings are freshly made, you can see them preparing them behind the window. I was also amazed by the big variety of dumplings they had, we got the lamb and and the shrimp and pork ones and the juicy pork ones. The fried rice was really good too. Service was fast. The inside of this small restaurant is also very cute and cozy.
Had an amazing meal here! Service was nice and fast and the food was amazing! Being picky with orange chicken loved it here. They give you a large serving of white rice and the food is in a sharing portion. Recommended 100% Can’t wait to come here again in a few weeks!
Our boss took us here for our Christmas luncheon. Everything we ordered was super delicious. You need to try bacon fried rice, sweet & sour pork ribs, salted lime peanuts, pork dumplings, garlic chicken wings yummy, shrimp won ton, beef wrap, and the pineapple mango lemonade. Must try. It gets busy. Come early. If you see all booths and tables filled there is an extra section towards the rear in a hidden corner where another 16 people can fit. I like how they have plates, napkins, utensils at your reach as well as too go boxes and bags. You dont have to ask for a thing its readily available. I will definitely go again. I loved it.

Truly the best of the best! The crown jewel of Los Angeles. This food is as good as it gets. I have been coming here for over 30 years, and it is still going strong. The food is great. The prices are unbeatable. I love the soups, sandwiches, Chinese, Vietnamese, noodles, rice, chicken, beef, pork, vegetables, and on and on. The rare beef and beef ball pho is awesome and huge. I cannot possibly finish it in one sitting. Beef with broccoli has a lot of broccoli and beef with a just right amount of sauce. The pork chops are perfectly seasoned and cooked. I don't know how they make them so tender and lean. The chop suey combination here is not too thick in sauce, different from most other places where they also put eggs. There is plenty of shrimps, chicken, and beef in it along with a nice portion of vegetables. Mixed vegetables was very tasty especially when I asked for no salt in it. The sweet and sour chicken was my kids favorite. They fought up to the last piece. My personal favorite was mapo tofu, which had ground beef. It was nice when I mixed it with rice. Lemonade and Thai Ice tea we're freshly made. I just had hot tea, which quenched thirst as well as dissolved all oil in the stir fried food. This place is a very special place indeed. I pray that it will be around for at least another three decades. No place can beat the price, food, and service. The servers may not speak English well, but they are nice enough, being not pretentious or stuffy. For what you pay, the service here is more than good enough. The main server guy with a permanent smile on his face is amazing! Love it!

Generous portions and delicious salad! I love all the flavor combos. I didn't have any problems with rude employees, but was surprised that a simple scoop of added quinoa was $3.50. but all in all one of the best salads I've had!!
I had their Kung pou tofu two weeks ago and the dish was excellent. They provide good costumer service and greet you with a friendly smile. This restaurant is my new favorite place to grab a good meal. Glad they are so close to my home!!!
The good is exceptional. Some of the staff are extremely rude. Especially the older gentlemen. They all look so unhappy to be there
