Menu states real crab but definitely imitation. If I had known I would have just ordered something different. Easily fixable by just advertising it as what it actually is. Many restaurants use it and I just go for a roll with a different protein at those that do. Ramen was ordered with extra chashu and there was gyoza in it...which was strange. Maybe just an off day. Maybe they are low or out and couldn't accommodate....again really easily fixable. A phone call of conversation would do it. Leaving feedback in hopes they can fix those couple things. Food sourcing has been hard for a lot of restaurants so I understand if they just didn't have the items to accommodate. My yellowtail still had bones, and was cut crazy thick. After a bite of each item I decided it was safer to just not continue eating. Overall, I just felt like the quality of the food didn't meet the price. Also, felt a little deceived by what they advertise vs what was received. Not likely to return based on the food but I am still wishing the business the best. I hate leaving a bad review but spending $100 on food you aren't entirely comfortable with eating....I hope they can figure things out.
Excellent customer service.
Great sushi.
I will highly recommend.

We have been coming here for years. Every now and then, we deceive ourselves in thinking the sushi here is good, but let's try some other place out. We have, up to now, each time left other establishments talking about how much better Wasabi Bay is.

Things that stick out at Wasabi Bay;
- Great service, super friendly
- Food portions are pretty large, considering price compared to other restaurants
- Food always tastes incredible, the way each roll is made is unique, fish tastes fresh and good quality, flavors are well balanced and very well thought out
- Their take out trays are beautiful
- When dining in, they plate their sushi beautifully. You can tell the chef takes great pride in his work.

The only critique I'd give is the music they play doesn't really fit the environment.

These guys just simply set the bar for our family when it comes to sushi.

Haven't visited Wasabi Bay in a few years. Our last visit made us regret not visiting more. Sushi was amazing, huge portions. Rolls were unique, and also incredible portions. Staff was on point, friendly and helpful deciding on some options. We will definitely go back! Only downside, is they are a fairly small establishment, so can't easily seat large parties, keep the size 6 and down for easier seating.

This is my family's favorite sushi joint. Everything is fresh, staff is awesome and it's a nice little place to get a bite. You won't be disappointed.

Best selection. Something for sushi lovers and non-shushi people. And I thought the prices were very reasonable

Very fresh sushi. If you want high quality fresh fish check our Sushi Zen. It is a bit more expensive than other local sushi restaurants but you are getting fish in my opinion. Restaurant is smaller and always packed. Call for reservations, if not, they will work you in.

This was a recommendation from someone we met on a plane ride into Seattle, but it was spot-on. The food was very good. 2 of us ordered different sushi/sashimi combinations, so we got a good sampling of what they offered. The tuna just melted in your mouth - it was fantastic. The other items were also very good and enjoyable. One of our group is not a big sushi fan, so she ordered a hot pot with chicken, egg, and tempura items, which she enjoyed very much. For the food alone, we will definitely be back on future visits to Seattle area. But I would be remiss in not mentioning the truly great service we enjoyed here at Sushi Zen. Wait staff took great care of the customers, and those who were preparing the sushi also looked after customers (greeting them as they entered, and wishing them well as they left). It's one of the better all around sushi places I've had the pleasure of enjoying.

Pretty average chill sushi spot, with a lot of different rolls. I used to go a lot pre-pandemic but now the prices are high for what you get so definitely recommend going during happy hour. The rolls are decent sized and the appetizers are good. I like their calamari and jalepeño bombs!

By far the best sashimi I've had in the North Seattle area in a long time. The freshness of the fish is absolutely stunning and the roles are just perfectly balanced. This spot was truly a hidden gem to find and I can't wait to be back very soon! 10/10 recommend 👌🏻

Gave this Sushi Spott a try still trying to find a good place in Everett!
Located in Mill Creek WA.
What we ordered:
Appetizers:
1.) Fried Calamari: batter used was lite hardly any Calamari just a lot of fluff. Served with Spicy Mayo (more on sauce later).
2.) Shrimp Tempura: they were pretty good. Nice portion not too much batter!
Sushi Rolls:
3.) Kraken Roll: interesting roll slightly baked with hamachi, spicy caviar and tangy sauce. Neither liked or disliked.
4.) Ali Alba 2.0. Hamachi and another white fish with spicy mayo sauce.
5.) Super Crunch Roll with Eel sauce. My husband said it was not at all crunchy he was disappointed with the texture.
6.) Hamachi with Jalapeño peppers not what I was expecting. Just gave us 4 slices of Hamachi and a little pile of sliced jalapeños. Normally slices are laid out with soy-citrus sauce and peppers placed on top of fish.
The spicy mayo sauce had too much ketchup and not enough Sriracha mixed in.
Servers were friendly and prices ok but so was the sushi.

Food is always excellent. Has been a local staple for a couple decades now. Fish is clean tasting and fresh. Menu is fairly extensive. Lots of great rolls and decent pricing. Hamachi and Salmon Kama apps were excellent. Has a tendency to be a little cold inside. We've never been dissapointed with the quality..

Great fresh sushi, we love the chirashi bowl, it's huge with variety kind of fish. Different from the last time we came. The sushi combo A was also plenty and delicious. It's pricy but reasonable for the portion and quality.
12/26: Went again for the chirashi, hands down still the best in town! it has sliced salted macarel and kazunoko/ salted herring egg that I dont see served in any other chirashi bowl we had and we had tried many places. Thank you, Wasabi Bay!

This is the best sushi restaurant in Mill Creek! There is a wide selection of sushi such as Seahawk, salmon, tuna sushi and other Asian dishes such as noodle soup, teriyaki and spare ribs.
In addition, Charles the owner of the restaurant has created a great customer service and it is a pleasure to be here.
I highly recommend trying food at Sushi Spott!

This place was very zen and I will say the salmon lemon rolls were out of this world! The nigiri was also very delicious! The atmosphere and ambience of the establishment is very minimalistic. Not a big crowd during lunch time either. It was a decent experience and I would say it’s a good place to go if you’re looking for something quick, and convenient for sushi!

I was in dire need of great sushi during my visit from the midwest. My friends and I met at Sushi Zen and we had a fantastic time! Our server provided taste tests of their saki and plum wine and offered great sushi selections. I had the Peach Saki and Polar Bear roll. Everything from the food, drinks, and service was stellar. I will be back during my next visit! Photos are of the Polar Bear roll and dishes my friends had.

It's okay. Service has gone down hill over the years. The happy hour is an okay deal but it used to be a good deal. First you think soda is a good deal at $2.45 but then they bring you a can, haha. Parking sucks. Location is easy to find but can be tricky to get to depending on which direction you are traveling.

Came in right at opening for lunch. A large variety of sushi rolls to choose from. Had small salad and soup they served before your food. Longer wait for my order than I expected. The sushi was decent. Good service.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, good sushi. Better than some places I've been, on par with my favorites. Limited sake menu. I love sparkling sake. Sadly they didn't have any. The lemon salmon roll was delicious.

FABULOUS FOOD!
I realize this spot may not need yet another great review, however, I do want to share, as finding a good sushi spot can be challenging.
I ordered in person for take out. There were only two tables seated and I was told my order would take 40 minutes. Apparently they do a HOPPING take out business. The host/server at the front was very nice and polite, when asking for extra ginger and offering to pay, said "no problem, no problem" and there was no charge.
My order - over $100. First-Jalapeno Teck, just CRAZY YUM! 2 Regular rolls, one of which was Ichi ( Daughter-in-law said was the BEST Ichi roll EVER). 2 Specialty - Popcorn Lobster and Spider Fantasy (BOMB.COM!) The sashimi - my FAVE superwhite tuna and yellowtail were incredibly fresh and BUTTERY. And the tempura veggies, oh the tempura veggies!! I don't know the secret of how they do it, but I have NEVER had tempura veggies to-go that stay THAT CRIPSY!
Cudos to the owners and the chefs. It may be a bit pricey, but a VERY worthwhile treat!! If you like sushi/sashimi, you MUST try this place!!

I haven't been here in so many years. I have always liked it. And now, it's still the same feeling. Love it. They were really busy and only had one person that was the host, waiter and busser. The food was great and definitely reasonably priced.

Couldn't be happier with our take out we got today. We ordered several rolls along with handrolls. We also got tempura soft shell crab, hamachi kama and a sashimi platter. The food has never disappointed me when I use to dine in. Now we do take out. Last time we got a big order was in October for my birthday but we will continue to order and support Wasabi Bay. Sushi is always fresh and tasty. I look forward to continuing to get my sushi fix from this restaurant. I hope we can all try if we can to support those restaurants we love who need extra support during these trying times. If you need a great place for sushi try them.
