We spent a very nice family evening in this restaurant. The owner was very welcoming and paid a special attention to our needs of gluten-free meal for our celiac son. The meat was really tasty and the price very reasonable, especially taking account of the high quality of the food and wine. We absolutely recommend and we look forward to coming back.

Great dinner/brunch option close to Lux City Centre. Lovely airy and open space with very tasteful and warm decor. Situated bordering Hesper Park, its outdoor options are highly recommended as soon as the weather allows, as you are surrounded by the greenery of the park. Food has never disappointed and prices are average Luxembourg prices. Nice variety of choice of dishes, although their vegetarian options don't include vegan options, which is a shame for those who for their reasons follow a vegan diet. Very much enjoy the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

I have had sushi from at least half a dozen different places in the past couple of years, but none is as good as Yamato's. The main reason for this is that they ONLY serve sushi, and not other Chinese or Thai dishes as is the case with most other "sushi" restaurants.
The delivery person seems to always be the same one, and is incredibly friendly. They also follow any directions given during an order.
The only minor downside is that they're not on the usual food order websites like Miammiam or Foostix, so that you can only order via their own website, but the food is definitely worth the hassle.

We had unfortunately a very disappointing experience here. The Easter menu which we had, was… definitely not good. The starter was basically a raw egg, which I could barely eat. The main course was a fried cordon bleu but the meat was awful and seemed still raw as well…
Also we had the experience that the waiter charged us way too much for a menu we didn’t even had. We immediately complained but once back home we realized that they also charged us with drinks which were never consumed… we got the reimbursement after calling them once again.
Of course the restaurant is very pretty from the inside with a lovely view on the park but the food was horrible…

Best sushi in Bonnevoie, and maybe in the city. Staff is lovely, food is always fresh, top quality. Totally recommend it!

One of the best italian restaurants in Luxembourg. The restaurant has a beautiful and original interior. The pasta and the pizza is very delicious. I can only recommend visiting this pretty place and enjoy an excellent meal with a very good dessert! (P.S. We miss the 101% chocolato)

Average food and bad service. It seems that asking questions because of food restrictions annoys them. Who cares about pregnant women and who have allergies?!

Nicely surprised by the excellent food and pleasant ambiance and service.

The service was an absolute disaster. Waiters banged a wine glass on my table, holding it with their hand on top of the glass, approaching from behind without saying anything. Later, while removing a plate, a waitress dropped a dirty knife onto my son's shirt, once again without saying anything. Overall too expensive.

It was awful. We were there at first time and problems started at the beginning.. They have no classic menu, only what you can do is to use your phone to find plates. The food was not delicious at all, but the prices to high for this quality. You’ll understand it if you compare this restaurant with other..

Classic local bar bistro. Friendly atmosphere and service and excellent food. Obviously a favourite for the locals and a lucky find for us passing tourists. And a bonus to have Moulles for the daily special 😋

A very comfortable restaurant offering a very welcoming and warm ‘ambiente’. The personnel is very kind and careful. Finally, the food is impressive - especially, their Pizzas have no rivals.

Just don't go there, 3 times i have booked the place they accepted online the order and then the restaurant was closed. Never seen anything like that in my whole life. No cares at all about clients. I would feel ashamed

Too small and/or too much burned…

We Travelled from Düsseldorf, Germany to Luxemburg for a dear friends Funeral Service then afterwards had Lunch in the Chez Vito Restaurant. The Restaurants Atmosphere turned out to be magical.. The Service Staff Comforted and embraced us there with opened Arms like anything called sadness ever existed before. Everything felt so very well done, Delicious food, communicative and unforgettable Folks. Thank you Chez Vito & Luxemburg, for sharing your love of food and the way to make Customers Satisfied with your fascinating Service.

Arrived at 6.30 to order food & were told the kitchen was now closed (worth pointing out here that we're English and were very polite). OK, bit early to close the kitchen but never mind. We had a beer instead. About 20 mins later, another couple arrived, not sure if they were local but they spoke the language. Next thing, they get presented with the menu & proceed to order food with the waitress!!!! Unbelievable!! Really, really poor service & in somewhere situated right opposite a campsite with all different nationalities in it. Is it just us Brits though that get this awful service? Luckily the lively Chinese restaurant next door have lovely staff & were only too happy to serve us! Dozu will be getting a 5star review from us!!

If you crave for well prepared good quality meat, what you finally get will still exceed your expectations. I was there with my family and it was a wonderful experience in every way . . . The owner Franky is one of a kind and he has profound knowledge to get the best out of great quality meat.

My beautiful girlfriend and I were so hungry for some meat at a time of the day when restaurants in Luxembourg are still closed, or don't serve lunch yet. We tried to enter a few opened ones, but we were out of luck as they could only offer us croissants. Then we discovered this place on Google Maps, it was open, so we've just decided to drive 10km to it, and eat whichever food they have... At the restaurant, we were greeted by a non english-speaking lady, and somewhat english-speaking chef (Franky I guess?) We were comfortably seated, and the lady presented us with menu - a huge black board that she put on a chair behind us (this was funny). You can choose from all different parts of beef, they sell it by kg as well, so we decided to go with 500g of some part of the beef that looked nice - we forgot the name, but you are able to see the kitchen, and the meat, it's just behind the bar, so you can choose the meat you want to eat - I loved this. Chef suggested we also order the pepper sauce, we agreed... After 10 mins or so, they served our meal, meat was so tender and tasty, deliciously cooked on the grill, sprinkled with salt. The sauce, served separately, was so-so, but my girlfriend liked it... we really enjoyed the meal! I ate so good I just wanted to go home and sleep for the rest of the day, and it was 13:00. They offer a wide selection of vines, and no desserts - be aware of that. Really a 5/5 experience! Will come again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Da Vincenzo in Hesperange, Luxembourg, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The restaurant impressed me with its generous portions, wide variety of choices, and flavorsome dishes. However, there were a couple of aspects that left room for improvement.

Let's start with the positives. Da Vincenzo certainly knows how to serve hearty portions that will satisfy even the biggest appetites. Whether you're a pasta lover or a fan of their meat dishes, you won't be disappointed by the quantity on your plate. The menu offers a diverse selection of Italian cuisine, ensuring there is something for everyone's taste.

Despite the appealing food, I must admit that the restaurant's ambiance and decor fell a bit short of my expectations. The interior was quite simple, lacking the charming atmosphere that could enhance the overall dining experience. While the focus is on the food, a more inviting and visually appealing ambiance would have elevated the overall dining experience.

Additionally, I found the service to be somewhat lacking. While the staff was polite, I couldn't help but notice their slight change in demeanor when we indicated we would be leaving after enjoying our main dish and dessert. It seemed as though they were expecting us to order more and became less attentive when we didn't. As a customer, I value feeling comfortable and unhurried during my dining experience, regardless of whether I choose to spend more or not.

In conclusion, Da Vincenzo is a restaurant that delivers on taste and portion size. The variety of choices on the menu ensures there's something for everyone. However, the restaurant's simple appearance and the less-than-stellar service leave room for improvement. Despite these minor setbacks, I would still recommend visiting Da Vincenzo for a satisfying meal in Hesperange.

Super service, great food and huge portions. They've a lovely terrace with some nice views.

We ordered two pizza and two pasta. The person was not able to understand English properly and his French was not better. We asked the delivery time and they mentioned 30mins. We called them after 1hours and the waiter was not nice and almost annoyed by my call. After another 20min we almost wanted to cancel the order and the food arrived just before we decided to go for frozen pizza. Everything was cold and not very tasty. We do not recommend this service.

A nice traditional Luxembourg restaurant with a huge and nicely shaded terrace. Good food, excellent desserts particularly.

This applies to the terrace in the summer.

Prices are a bit higher than others, but in the summer, it's worth it. Be sure to reserve a table.

Good french restaurant, I went for a lunch, you can choose between several starters and main dishes. You can also eat the main dish only. The portion is big. In the summer, they have a nice terrasse just near the Alzette creek. The staff is professional but they don’t smile a lot.

Whenever I can I go there for Sushi. Unfortunately I don’t work close anymore and it’s quite a drive from my office or home but still I ensure to get there several times a year.

The sushi sashimi Appetizer is simply amazing in terms of design, quality and price. Love it!

Also the Kimchi is so tasty as well as the desert, Mochi or ice in a lemon / orange.

Inside the restaurant isn’t super stylish or beautiful but the owners and waiters are, super friendly, attentive and smiling.
Outside the terrace next to the river is beautiful in the sun.

Parking not super easy but manageable.

Great restaurant, fancy interior and very special menu. The owner was also very kind. The music is a little bit too ‚modern‘ and reminds me of a club, even the restrooms. I would not come here for a romantic diner.

Been here a few times - to dine in or take away. Sushi are always fresh and good. We always go for the warrior, super! Miso soup is good too.

Tiny sushi restaurant with a polite and helpful staff. Perfect for a quick lunch, you never wait for a long time before being served. The menu options are very decently priced for Lux and are plenty enough in quantity. Not the most exquisite quality or refined eatery, but that is not the point of this place

Service, food, environment, quality of the products... Everything was perfect. We enjoyed a lot the dinner, the waiter was super nice and helpful. The pasta, pizza, meat... No complaints about anything.

We were there for all saints day. Menu was delicious. I am not giving full 5 stars because chocolate mousse was not my favorite and meat could be better.

The service is tipp topp...perfectly attentive. The food is delish, the wine list is well-balanced, and the ambiance is well done (despite C-19). The rich metallics, neon spray paint, shiny glassware and ornate furniture create the vibe. Children welcome if they're chill. This is a really great resto...it will not disappoint. Price was right. RSVP. Parking wasn't a problem, but we visited off-season, and I believe O&D offers a terrace during the warmer months. Worth it.

The steak was burnt, the meat was plastic, overcooked and tasted like garbage. The waiter also tried to argue that the steak was ok instead of not bringing it to my table in the first place. Do not recommend this place!

Our local Sushi restaurant. Top quality fish, everything freshly prepared and in full view of the guests. Can get busy with take aways at times. Good terrace in the summer overlooking the river. Great customer service, always with a smile. Must have is their Te-maki.

We had delicious season fruit cocktails. The space is superb with nice atmosphere. We ended up staying for dinner and the food was marvelous. We will come back for sure!

Very disappointed of the Penne Arrabiatta. Neither very hot nor tasty at all... Well, the only taste that it had was that of GARLIC, of which there was definitely too much in it!! Food quality is rather poor and the prices are way too high. I will not go back to this restaurant.
