Came to this restaurant after hearing good reviews. Tried their Prawns Xacuti, Pork Vindaloo with Buns and steam rice. And finished with a Bebinca and icecream. Personally i felt the food was good quality but quantity wise a bit less .prawns curry had only 6 piece and pork pieces were less. Since we are used to the same curry preparation in kerala there was nothing unique in taste. Overall cost us around 1500. Service was quick and location is on main road side.parking is but difficult to find
Highly highly recommend for authentic yummy goan food!! Being a North Indian it was my first time trying goan food, absolutely loved it. Such a nice place with humble staff.

U get 5 stars buddy! In the midst of few costly seafood restaurants in candolim, cafe sussegado gives you seafood with reasonable price. Taste is no compromise for seafood category. Believe me, we had rawa fried prawns, crab curry, rice, bibinca icecream all for 1300.... Awesome experience, fast service and genuine taste. Phir se aayega bro!
I came here after 4-5 years, still has the same decor and vibes, brings back good memories. It's Pretty good place to have Goan food or seafood alone or with a group.
The staff is really polite, knowledgeable about the dishes and can give good suggestions.
I had the goan beef roast and prawns curry with goan pav. Amazing taste and good enough quantity. Although I feel the beef roast could have been more warm/hot.

This place is really good when it comes to food and service.
We visited the place for dinner and tried their Beef roast, Squid butter garlic, Goan Sausage chilly fry and the Seafood Biryani.
The food was super delicious and had nothing to complain about.
The service here is very good. The interiors are very interesting keeps you busy for a while.
Overall a good experience and a good place to dine.

Gem of a place, and in every sense, be it location and quality of food, the opposite to KFC- authentic home cooked food with fresh ingredients. Had Coriander Prawns, Chicken Caffreal, a Goan Bread Basket and a Buttermilk. All dishes exceeded expectations- special mention to the Chicken Caffreal that was juicy and falling off the bone. Service provided by Aswin was timely and top-notch. While the portion sizes could be more generous considering the price, the outstanding quality of the food more than compensates for it.
Whenever you think of Goan food, think of sussegaado. This place really syncs with the Goan culture, you'll have to wait a decent amount of time for your food. But man, the food they serve is delicious. Their Goan chicken chilli fry was to die for, chicken jirem mirem was again too good. The prawns in red masala could be a bit better, having said that their fried rice was the star of the show.
Overall I had a great experience here, I strongly recommend this place if you happen to visit or stay around Calangute or Baga.

This has been our best accidental find in Calangute in August. We were heading to another restaurant for a meal, as we had skipped breakfast and were really hungry. My husband's eye caught this puneri style pati on which menu was written. Though it was not open yet at 11.45 AM, we thought of waiting for 15 min to eat, and the wait was totally worth it. We started with french fries and green salad as that was the quickest thing to arrive and we got our drinks. We placed our order, and restaurant started filling in. We ordered Chicken Cafreal, yummmmmmmm. First bite and, I was in love. Then we had Prawns Xacuti with their fresh buns, yumm yummm yumm. We were soo happy with Cafreal we ordered chef recommended prawns coriander, yummmmm again. One more bun plate as no one can eat just one right. And we finally ended with Goan peas pulav, wondering how can this simple pulav be soo delicious. The couple who run this place are absolutely passionate about what they are doing, and they and the staff take such good care of their customers. I am sure they would want to feed the whole town, but that is just not possible right. I feel bad for those who have missed eating here, or really don't know what good food is to give bad reviews to this place. My only regret was not clicking pictures for the memory. But we will be back to eat more. Cheers!!

Please don't go this hotel they people give 3 days old food I got food poison
The restaurant is very good and the ambience is super amazing with live music by singer and tv screens for entertainment. The thalis are super amazing and big enough. You should definitely check this place out if you are going in Calangute market.
Too high costs with low quantity. Food taste is not good. While coming to service we had asked them about chicken biryani they said it will be enough for 3 members but while coming to reality it was only enough for 1 person. The cost of alcohol is very high.
The staffs are very polite and helpful. Foods were great specially the paneer butter masala. Live singing adds some more pleasure while enjoying the dinner
Seafood yummy and staff very comfortable with adjustments to taste. The prawn tawa fry was good as was the butter garlic calamari rings. King fish steak with fries and Xacuti prawns for main course.
Had a takeaway. Chicken Tangdi kebab, daal makhni, chicken reshmi kebab, spinach soup and Naan... all were superb authentic taste. All good, if not the best, certainly better than many others, hands down. I recommend any of the said dishes. They need to check on the pricing, it's on the much higher side related to the portion.
E.g. the chicken Tangdi is only the leg piece not the full leg including thigh, that's generally the way it's served. Even after confirming twice with a yes from the counter guy, was disappointed to see only the legs pieces.

I liked this place , the fish was fresh and test was delicious so I will request to visit this place

Ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Kebab and a few mocktails. Biryani was okay. Kebab was 10/10. Mocktails had a very commercial syrup-y taste (I know most restaurants do make their mocktails from syrups but the syrup isn't overpower them). Also, liked the extras they give with the food like the pickled Onions and Chutneys.
As expected the Ambience did feel royal. Top level cleanliness was maintained from the dining area to the washroom to the lobby. Prices are slightly higher but makes sense looking at the service they offer.

A small setup but with warm hospitality..We had breakfast and dinner once. The food was tasty and appropriate quantity.

If your coming to calangute beach you should definitely check this restaurant out. We came around 3pm and yet we were served mouth watering food.. the dishes are reasonably priced as well. Parking also available for this restaurant. Good service and food!

Amazing authentic style Goan food at a reasonable cost. Tried Goan mackerel, king fish, squid, prawns, Goan fish thali at the kitchen and was impressed by the quality and the taste of the food. Must try if you are around Maddoo Vaddoo. The service was excellent as well!
Being a chef what I realized that food quality and quality is very poor. They mentioned a lot of attractive things on menu but they really dont know to make it... Food was so imperfect and quite expensive according to taste and quality.... Really disappointed and stewards dont know any ethical jesters... Their body language will make you feel uncomfortable... It's polished from outside and garbage from inside... Service team is devastating.... I dont know how a cheese item can be served with out any cheese at all... Worst experience.
The best chicken chilli in town, 🤤 loved the food, with a local goan chef great at his work, with food available at reasonable rates!
Food was amazing and very reasonable Guys this Is the best place for food and drinks all over Goa. Had a great time with my family and friends I would highly recommend you guys to try this place out and their chef’s special jalapeños cheese burst was next level

While the food at Delhi Darbaar is undeniably tasty, I have to say that I was disappointed with the prices. Everything on the menu seemed to be quite expensive, and I felt like I was paying a premium just for the atmosphere. Additionally, I was frustrated to find that they were charging more than the MRP on a simple water bottle. While I understand that restaurants need to make a profit, I don't think it's fair to overcharge customers for basic items like water. Overall, while the food was good, I don't think I'll be returning to Delhi Darbaar due to the high prices and questionable pricing practices.
I have never regretted so much in my life. The staff doesn’t care about the customers at all. The good reviews from before are because of the old chef. The new chef should stop cooking like immediately. Spent like 1000 bucks here for 3 items & it was all a total waste.
Looking for Night life in Goa beach this is the one for everyone... but music lasts till 11 pm only on beachside restros

Very nice typical goan food. You can get good homemade food that too at reasonable or may be cheap cost. Enjoyed eating food here. Fish thali was awesome. If you are searching for homemade food better to go here.
The place there is very nice. He also liked the climate very much and if he has gone here in the middle, then in the middle also u are very good. The security force is very good. It was great to see everyone here and there. Thank you.

Awesome food quality.....especially tandoori chicken & biriyani.....reasonable cheap rates & great location....near HOTEL ETERNAL WAVES , HOTEL MORPHO & LA DINERO.....Walking diatance from baga......highly recomended to visit this restaurant..
Food was excellent, Plz try their chicken tandoori, fish and chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream ... We ate selected things from the menu but I believe most of the dishes served here are dilacious ...

Rizwan Biryani is a gem admist all the expensive eating outlets near Calangute-Baga beach. We found the place on our second day of stay in Goa and we had been having our breakfast lunch and dinner from Rizwan for our entire stay in Goa. The owner is very experienced person and his chef also had experience from a very good Biryani joint from south. The place is small, but how does that matter if you want to have tasty food. The place is know for its Biryani but you must try their Alfam (arabic style tandoori). We just asked if he serves mutton biryani, the owner went out of the way to get mutton and make biryani according to our tastes. They have fish dishes too. We being a fan of biryani stuck to that. Their Chinese is another thing to try out. If you ate big Biryani fan and trust me their biryani is one to die for. One plate chicken biryani will suffice for one person and the cost is just ₹120. I also tried their aloo samosa. They were good too.

Lively restobar right on the road. Open seating with good music. Food is delicious. Both seafood and chicken dishes were great.They served a really good feni as well. Reasonably priced. Courteous service. Open till quite late . Even at 1am they served us a great meal. Great place to chill.

Food tastes are good, not great but better than few other shacks which I have tried, also prices a comparatively reasonable. They don’t charge for shack/seating comfortably under umbrella.

Had a romantic dinner with my wife. Food is good and hospitality of Sanjay is amazing.
The lady who massaged my wife in the afternoon did an excellent job.
Just one word of caution, don't ask about water sports to anyone in the shack. One guy with long curly hair (who works for the shack) in sync with Two Brothers robbed the hell out of us.

Good ambience and nice food. I did not like the fish much so giving only 4 stars. Otherwise other food was very tasty and staff is well experience and good mannered. Service here is obviously very good since the staff is nice. If you want to have good food, Delhi darbar Calangute is recommended.
Very friendly staff. Sanjay was particularly good with his service. The lady there gave great foot and back massages. The food and sheesha were good. We hung out at the shack enjoying the sea and breeze for a whole day with their constant service
This is a bit of a posh place in Goa. Usually restaurants are just a place to grab a bite this however offers different service. The prices are slightly higher. But service and food is pretty good. Their drinks are quite nice as well. So do visit if you are in Goa.

We.told him to make tasty and spicy as we are spice eaters.
It looks like he is having issues with the spice eaters. He literally made our taste buds upset with only pepper powder. No taste at all and super disappointing.

The view of the sea are awesome, take a chill bear and chill..
You can enjoy food in front of sea.. staff is good, food is average., Dinner time is best .. tandoori king fish , chicken lollypop , cream of crab soup these are the dishes that I recomds.

Never expected such good n cheap price food in Goa... Absolutely no local taste but ur taste buds will rejoice their Bombay beef n chicken dishes .
