Nice place. Had a good time at first, but one of the bartender with a tattoo on his face personally attacked me for no reason.I feel like it was due to a race issue which is unfortunate.I was very kind professional, , yet he treated me poorly.
Great service and very friendly regulars.......I had a blast! A cool spot for good drinks in the area for sure.
Stopped in here for a drink on our anniversary. Drinks were delicious and the bartender was awesome!

I LOVE pizza. And I'm not so picky that I can't enjoy the cheaper pizza chains or dare I say even a frozen pizza. I really want to like these guys cuz they're right next to my house. But for the price ($22 for a medium) I just don't get it? Maybe it was a poor choice of toppings on my part. The "roasted" eggplant was weird and rubbery and tasted terrible, that and the other veggies were under-cooked. Which is weird cuz the bottom of the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted. The center of the pizza wasn't very hot though. Maybe the oven is too hot and you're cooking it too fast? I'm no expert on how to cook pizza, but I do know tasty pizza when I taste it, and I'm sad to say this just didn't hit. The cheese was good, and the service was good though. Maybe I owe them another visit in the future and should stick to classic toppings.
Love me a good whiskey and cigar. Had to take it easy so I only got a whiskey but I’m going back soon for that cigar.
Pizzas are large with lots of toppings. I got a takeout order through uber eats. I especially liked the Belmont pizza.

Love the atmosphere here its got inside and outside seating areas and its very comfortable, two tvs , bar 🍸 , the food is yummy and service is great . My favorite is the Brussels sprouts

We stopped by during Grand Prix weekend. The young lady working made us the best pizza. We will be back next time we are in town. Highly recommended!!

Hidden gem in Long Beach. This place was recommended to me by Reddit of all places.
The wait was closer to 20 minutes and they were very quick about cleaning tables and the kitchen cook time was fairly rapid.

I loved this place only after 2 minutes of being here. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant is just so comfortable to be in. The ppl who come eat here are nice. And the food is Amazing.
The service was pretty good until the shift of service. I ask for more tea 🍵 to (3) different folks. Instead, I got the check quicker than any tea 🍵. I paid and left. I'm not sure if they ever charged me for the extra tea because, at this point, what was a wonderful dining experience ended abruptly. Love the greetings when we got there. It was the leaving that bothered me. I'm sure they would have done better if there was one person serving my table, but I thonk she had to take her break or something. I'll be back because it wasn't that big of a deal not to support the local spot
Someone told me I had to try the blooming onion so we stopped by. We decided to move from the bar to a table to have dinner. So glad we did. Our server Cailyn was the best. She came to the rescue when my boyfriend accidentally spilled his drink all over my new dress. We all laughed about it and then ordered the best dessert. Great food. Great drinks. Great service.

I really love this place. My only complaint is I was they were open longer, until like 12 am on the weekends, haha! They have great food, although my burger could have used some sauce. They have a great selection of quality wines, which is important to me, as wine is my preferred alcoholic beverage. I especially love the live music on Friday and Saturday nights. They get the dopest artists to come and do their thing, and I enjoy it immensely. As long as I am living in Long Beach, I will be visiting this diamond in the rough of a restaurant.

Worst experience ordering from a pizza place- ordered through DoorDash, the employees at Fat Tomato do the delivery. Justin is lazy and horrible at his job, he should be fired for his misconduct. They left the pizza outside, looking like it was thrown there, with the box half-opened, when I specifically asked to deliver it to my door. Horrible human being. I’ve reported them to DoorDash- their pizza’s horrible as well, don’t bother.
beautiful view + amazing food. the garlic fries have to be the best thing on the menu! the burgers are very fulfilling. the prices are also reasonable due to the serving sizes.
The worst experience at a supposed steak house ever. To begin with they no longer have the Togarashi steak on the menu but it’s in this website. We ordered French onion soup and they were out keep in mind they only offer 2 soups! It’s says they valet and they don’t valet! 3 of our 5 steaks came out cook at the wrong temp. The potatoes and the greens beans were cold …we let the server know all of these things and it was as if she didn’t care..so to rectify it they comped 3 drinks ? Really that was supposed to make us happy. It didn’t! It was not busy so the poor service and poor food was not due to that. There was only one other table with a party if 8 in the restaurant. What a joke of a supposed steakhouse ? Even with all this we still left a tip of 10% which to me was a gift as I really should have tipped her ZERO! In any case do NOT patronize this location if you are expecting a good steak or good service !

We had a great time at Park Pantry. Met lovely people and great drinks. Also last time we had great fries and chicken tenders.
Getting seated onto a greasy chair for me was a quick negative review. Other better tables were available but we got sat in the corner in an almost empty restaurant. One of our members had a birthday and we were delighted that the crew was able to come and sing together. We appreciated that. However some items during our dine in were forgotten and we had to keep asking for waters. Might be better next time.

Luckily for me it wasn’t busy at all on a Saturday and I found seating right away. The girl who helped me was very nice and recommended a few popular items. She also delivered my food very promptly (I was surprised how fast it came out).
No one stops to check on you, it’s self serve with coffee and water. You have to keep reordering drinks if you want anything from the bar. So it’s not your sit down and enjoy your meal kind of restaurant. You order and then are left to fend for yourself kind of thing. It’s not awful, but not what I was expecting either.

OK we all know this is not meant to be a high class white tablecloth steakhouse. For the price It’s a great deal. Ask for a table outside by the water if the weather is good and there are heaters in the winter. The large bar area is a great place to watch a game. Steak is always good here. Always good service. If you want a great meal under 50 bucks, check it out.
Stopped in for drinks with the wife. Grabbed dessert for the kids and ourselves. Nice atmosphere, live music, decent prices (happy hour). Servers were nice and prompt. Desserts were tasty. Meals smelled and looked good but didn't partake. Nice experience.
Hidden Gem. Absolutely love it. Caught it at a great time, not busy but got busier. Amazing views and tranquil when it's not loud. 2 appetizers and 2 glasses of prosecco. Easy street parking mid day/week.
When I visit in Long Beach area with my son, I love to go this place. But this place not enough staffs or work slowly and to make mistakes a lot.
We order food and waited over 30min and then server came and told us the food coming little more later. And then it takes 20 min more. It was Lunch time on a weekday and they had only 5tables that big restaurant.

Pretty standard franchise restaurant, you know for the most part what you'll get. Had a few issues with our order though. Macaroni bites were frozen solid in the kiddle, no problem staff got us some fresh ones quickly. Chicken sandwich was supposed to have pickles, kitchen staff used cucumber instead. Not bad but .... Not sure how you mix those up. Drinks were ok, but mostly ice so a few gulps and they're gone. Overall, it was ok. Nothing majorly bad, but kinda knew going in that we weren't going to the Ritz.

I've passed this place so many times bit finally tried it the other day and my goodness I've been missing out! The Eggnog latte was a great way to start before diving into the Atlantis Space Melt. The sweetness of the coleslaw and three earthiness of rye bread had me food happy dancing.
we were there in a cold friday nite so the live music is inside from an indoor balcony (yeah!) otherwise it would be outside on the fenced in sidewalk). food is very good but just a little short on variety, drinks are very good as well. the service is friendly & excellent >> great atmosphere, reminded me of fab. restos of old (NYC village, hollywood east...) definitely will come back & whole-heartedly recommend it.
This bartender was super rude to us the whole time! The bar closed at 2am and HE was incredibly rude to us from the moment we walked in......waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before the bar was closed...over an hour before closing......if he owned this bar, yikes . If he works here..........extra yikes.
The Park Pantry had some of the best chicken and waffles. The breading was light and the chicken was moist. The waffle was huge and syrup wasn't too sugary. Hash browns were crispy just like I like them.
If your staying at the Marriott don’t waste your time trying to place a mobile order. After several attempts, the Marriott front desk said,”Whoops, sorry Mobile Order doesn’t work” I order a Quesadilla and Apple Cobbler in person and only waited about 10 minutes for my order. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The Chicken, Bacon (?) Quesadilla was good and filling. I may be a bad judge of the Apple Cobbler because I make a Mean Cobbler so to me it was just So So. I tasted a little burnt. Overall food was good. I took it to my room to eat but restaurant looks great!
First time here. Great turkey burger with handmade turkey patty. Good job. Check out huge menu with many items that have me salivating for future visits.

Service was excellent, though I would suggest they ask customers if they want iced or hot coffee beverages when placing their orders. I had the espresso martini. It was spot-on, and so was my burger that had an egg and bacon on it. Yummy!

Plunge is an American restaurant overlooking the ocean in Long Beach, CA. It is located on the second floor of the Ocean Front luxury beach club between 14th street and Ocean avenue. This restaurant is very laid-back eatery that offers classic brunch food and cocktails.
They have a modest food/drink selection on their menu. I was warmly greeted by a male host and sat at a high table facing with a beach view. I decided to order a farmers market greens salad with jidori chicken and a fresh 100% squeezed OJ. Food was delightful and fresh, similarly, their OJ was cold fresh and purely refreshing. My female server, Mary Jane, was affable, assiduous and obsequious.
Service was on point. Atmosphere was quite relaxing. Staff were brilliantly professional. Prices were fair. Street parking only.

Good breakfast spot with an open layout, was disappointed on how my quesadilla tasted, but everything else was good, would stick to the French toast and breakfast sandwiches for this place.
The steak is always good here. The sides and appetizers are good as well.

Read somewhere that the burger was good and it didn't disappointed. Special mention for the ingredient quality, veggies were fresh and crisp, the bread was not breaking or falling apart and the meat was juicy and cooked at the point I requested. Extra points for having IPA on the tap. The only downside was the atmosphere, place was kind of lonely, only a few tables were occupied, possibly different vibe on a weekend.

Live music, if you like, and a nice band’s playing outside next to the entrance door. So, don’t worry if the music is loud unless you don’t want to hear your date. Just stare at each other and fall in love and hire the band to play at your wedding. Anyway, I was amazed. Not because they played good music but the place looked quite old inside but the food was delicious. Hubby ordered a medium steak but was a bit overcooked but had a good taste. My capellini with blackened shrimp in tomato sauce was fantastic! That was a perfect dish, little capellini and flavorful blackened shrimp and a perfect taste of tomato sauce, just the way I like it. Our friend has a medium rare steak and fish and chip. The fish and chip was pretty good. I would go back for the shrimp dish. Our server did a great job taking care of our table. Great music, delicious meals. Thank you!

Parking is a little tricky because you need to find street parking. You might have to park a couple blocks away but that’s kind of expected for this kind of area. The restaurant is located inside a fancy hotel building, Despite the place being busy the staff were really friendly and seated us right away. Ordered cappuccinos, brunch burger with kale, and a breakfast burrito. Tasted amazing, affordable prices and portion sizes. Really nice views overlooking the ocean.
The service was excellent. The slice 🍕 was so yummy 😋.

Had a couple of slices. Extra cheese and basil. Yum! And this yum came about 2 blocks from a nice park with a nice view, so my overall "slices for lunch" experience was outstanding! The crust is thin - not the crunchy kind of thin, the floppy kind of thin. I'll be back😎

Good breakfast and friendly service. I had a classic clubhouse sandwich and fresh fruit. Fruit was fresh and sweet, the sandwich was yummy. I would like to try other options next time!
The food was good the waiter was very nice and polite. The reason for the 4 stars is my cinamon french toast was more toast than French. I'll be going again soon I'll try it again. Maybe it was just this time. 🤔 For those that don't cook thus means it was a little dry. Even with syrup and butter it was a bit dry. Taste was definitely there I just expect it to be a little more consistent, and flavorful 😋
What a wonderful place to dine. They serve everything from 7am-3pm daily. My meal was prepared just the way I like it when traveling. The San Francisco Joe omelet. Not over seasoned with spice combinations and sauces. The waiters were attentive and really cater to your dining experience and needs. Portions are plentiful, too. Try one of the various cakes. Just like a cake is suppose to be...tasty and moist. I could eat here daily but my adventurous tendencies get in the way!

What a pleasant experience with my best friend. We decided to eat brunch at the bar. The bartender was super nice and efficient. Our server was cute, humorous, and polite. I highly recommend this place for a delightful beginning to a Sunday funday. Ask for Jen. 😊
This place is so welcoming and cozy…there’s outdoor seating available too. Stopped by for breakfast and was craving pancakes let me tell you these buttermilk babies were delicious with lots of bananas and walnuts…super big portions to share or take home my eggs and bacon were great too with freshly brewed coffee on an early morning before my walk by the beach. Staff is wonderful and so sweet Miguel our server was friendly and helpful..when great service is given to you,. That makes you want to return most definitely! So here you go, there’s so much to choose from on the menu, burritos and sandwiches burgers and more but definitely give them a try if you happen to be out this way of Long Beach.

Next was the French onion soup. If this is on the menu I always get it. This one was meh 😑, very sweet , not sure what stock they used. Not terrible, but different.
The first main was the “Pan seared halibut with forbidden rice” , 100% mouth garbage. First off we eat with our eyes and my eyes barfed when this plate came out. Boring, the fish was over cooked and most likely re heated several times. The asparagus was over cooked and limp. The forbidden rice should be forbidden from being sold , the rice was under seasoned and over cooked. And lastly the sauce in the ramekin so fowl I couldn’t even identify it. Super disappointed at $33
Lastly was the Prime rib in , meat was ok , little tough, but the au jsu tasted like straight up hot dogs 🌭, it’s like the took hot dog water and rendered it down. I also got both of the mashed potatoes, both were very bland , I really want to taste the poblanos in the poblano mashed potatoes, but I tasted nothing , The worst.

Everything was super good, nice to have the cauliflower crust option, no complaints, but also no praises. Sauce is good , crust was good , chewy thin like New York style, Even Steven, also, they used canned jalapeño not fresh 😢, and the crust may be pre made , not that there is anything wrong with that ( there totally is ) just an observation , so if you want good pizza and don’t want to think about it then here you go.

This was our first time eating here and the atmosphere was very pleasant and the inside was very nicely decorated. The food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. One of the bonus I really liked about this place was that you can have your dogs on the patio.
The food is amazing! I had the trout in a curry sauce... it was incredible!! Fresh and had a salmon like quality. For desert the Strawberry and Crumbs... it's insanely phenomenal!!
The only reason I didn't do 5 stars...the service was off. Slow and well.... slow for the quality of food to me. If they fix the service issues... then a 5! Go for the menu...it's delicious!

Just opened went for the grand opening and excited about the changes Long Beach is having in their dinning experience. Loved the atmosphere here the appetizers are really good, however their entree selection is still a work in progress I would say. I would definitely come back to get a coctail and appetizer. Also the service is on point and you can tell they are stepping up their game.
This is my number one go to bar in long beach whenever I'm looking to get a drink. The drinks that are made here don't compare to some of the other local bars. They have something called whiskey Wednesday's here where it's half off all whiskey, I'm not really a big whiskey fan and this being a whiskey bar I still come here over other places because of all their other great options. Ask for Brian, he's a great bartender and he'll make you some 5 star drinks. If you are reading this review and are looking for a place to go don't even think about it, come here!
If you're a whiskey connoisseur, this is the place for you. But don't fret if you're familiar with only a few names. The bartenders are friendly and informative. If you're just not into whiskey, have a cocktail, or a beer. Craving a snack? Ask for some garlic-flavored jerky. This is definitely a place to check out when you're in Downtown Long Beach.
