very good food the bacon barbecue burger is very good as well as their fries and the staff is very respectful and kind would go again
We were a group that visited from Bakersfield on Saturday the 13th of April the both bartenders that night gave us great hospitality and super nice made us feel like home. Definitely will be back. The DJ was awesome we had a great time.

Food was exceptional. Sevice was solid. HH marg had a bit much sweet and sour but over all great experience.
It was a rainy day, so I decided to catch their Flamenco show on Saturday, which comes with a dinner. The waitress’ recommendation was on point. Their drinks were the right one for the food and ambience.
If you want good food for a great price, their happy hour is among the best in the Long Beach area! The service was good for being busy with little staff and the pours are generous! Love the happy hour burger!!
One of the worst breakfast burritos I've had unfortunately. The entire thing was just potatoes with very little of anything else. Kept expecting to find egg, bacon, cheese. But alas all potatoes from beginning to end. Had higher hopes for it after hearing good things. I can understand potatoes being the majority filling. But this was essentially entirely potatoes. After a decently long wait too. 40 mins for an order that said it would be ready in 20.
I've been twice and both times were an amazing experience, service was the best I've ever had! They have multiple waiters, a bartender, someone setting and clearing the table as needed, and a person serving fresh bread. Food is delicious, drinks were good, ocean view at night was beautiful. The lighthouse itself with the high ceilings and decor is so unique and cool. Would recommend to anyone!
Yummy breakfast burrito and chai tea! Music plays in the background as you sit on their patio chair in the sand. Dog friendly (they have a bowl) and one item on the menu (small beef bowl) 😋 lovely experience, public beach parking rates.

This is a restaurant that truly cares about service and quality! Staff was attentive and friendly. We were not rushed and could truly enjoy our dining experience.
The food was prepared perfectly with care. We ordered the Porterhouse, and it was cut away from the bone, so we didn't have to do the hard work. Very much appreciated 👏

My honey, who actually put in some time planning our dinner tonight, picked a winner. Queensview was amazing. It checked all the boxes; Romance - great view overlooking the harbor & queen Mary. Ambiance (live pianist and low lights). Service - 5 star and attentive (yall know I'm all about customer svc). Food - also 5 star, good portions and the steaks were excellent. Price - $$$$ but well worth it.

Wait time was about 40 mins. Place was super packed but it was worth the wait. There’s plenty of parking. There is a waiting area outside and you can order drinks while you wait to be called for your table. Our server was super nice and was very attentive. They do have restrooms outside and they were really clean. The food portions were a good size and it was very delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
Used to love this shopping center back in the day, when there was a little Whole Foods and a Chronic Tacos. It's cited for development in the near future, so it's kind of a sad version of its former self. Mimi's is closed, too. Basically, it's Petco and a hair salon in there now. Bye-Bye old Long Beach.

Nice folks behind the bar, and in front of it. Was made to feel genually welcome by staff all around. Very good beer selections, with some great & powerful IPAs. Extensive menu with focus on bar food. I had breakfast casidilla for Monday night football.

The food is AMAZING here, lots of great options, authentic flavors and everything was fresh and hot. The guacamole was presented cute, compadres margarita was perfect. I had beef fajitas hot and fresh,beef was nice and tender, one friend had the special enchiladas dinner, he has a hearty appetite and couldn't eat it all, my other friend had the bacon wrapped shrimp, she and I shared, was fantastic. Good size portions, excellent service, from the host, waitress and busser, everyone was super nice and attentive. We did have to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, the place was packed. But after trying their food, that explained it. If you can't make it to Long Beach, they have another location in Norwalk.
Absolutely one of the best fine dining restaurants in Southern California. View is stunning and perfect service. Porterhouse steak was so good and tasty, onion soup was great choice for appetizer.
With me, I believe every business gets one chance to make a first impression. Today, I ordered a rasin bagel with egg (over easy), cheese, and bacon, which is extra. I ask to dine in and a cup of fresh OJ. When I opened my to go container, my bagels were burned with sunny side up eggs and 2 stripped of bacon.

I know that this is a large commercial operation, but it is a really well done one. The beer is excellent, and the view is fantastic. It gets crowded on the weekends because it is such a great place. This is where I bring out of town guests because it is what they want Long Beach to be, as well as how I work for them to see our city.
Los Compadres is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch. I can't get enough of their flavorful tacos and fresh salsa. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a family dinner or a date night. I highly recommend trying their guacamole - it's the best I've ever had! I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Run down shopping center with many empty tenant spots. Parking needs new asphalt top. Nice area by the water.

I suggest you avoid eating at Cafe Scuba. Horribly overpriced and sub standard quality. Super disorganized. Had one bad burger and a hotdog with drinks for $50!!
I’ve gone here one time before and it was nice, today I get there with my wife. Drive from LA. And it was horrible. The food is plain, chilaquilles came out cold so I asked the server to microwave it and she said ok. Brought it back out and never came to check in on us once after. Almost seemed like she was avoiding interaction. My coffee got cold and she never came, I wanted a coke, she never came. After trying to catch her attention she brought the check and left us alone for 15 min. I had to go give her my card so she could charge me. She threw the card at my hand. Didn’t finish the greasy food and left. Won’t ever come back here. We rate it a 2 out of 10. Scenery is nice but don’t expect a great meal or service.
Private concert. Got to see my favorite artist with out the pushing and shoving at other places. Strict Security made my group feel VIP. Worth the money, love the scene and set up. Cant wait to try the restaurant when it opens.

This place will not allow men with sandals yet women are allowed with sandals.. After a group of women entered just before me with sandals the security and on duty manager refused me to enter with the sandals... I offered to pay more money and the manger did consider this. This place does not treat men and women the same even if you have similar or the same attire...
A brunch staple on the bay front. Ample outdoor seating but expect to wait on weekends. Generous mimosas and frosty beers (or micheladas) in big schooners while you wait. Excellent selection of American and Mexican breakfast, lunch and diner classics. Look out for "the mess" and the rancheros.
Gave 2 stars for the nice & comfortable seating. Otherwise, no food, drink options very limited, waitresses too way too long... even though there were soooo many of them. Geez....drinks took forever! And then kept coming to say, "we don't have that!" Atmosphere would have been okay if it wasn't so smoky inside. Dancefloor covered in smoke. Not our type of place. A hard pass.
Nice place to visit in Long Beach, California, Lots of shops, restaurants and bars to look through and eat/drink. Also you can listen to live music and rent a bike. We went at a weekend and it was absolutely packed with lots of people queueing and waiting for tables. Worth a visit, but aim for the quieter times to go.
The service and the atmosphere were spectacular. There was a jazz band playing which added to the ambiance. We celebrated a friend's birthday and waiting at our table was a birthday card signed by the staff, a beautiful view of the water, and ended with a creme brulee. All of the food was good. The surf n turf roll was the favorite appetizer, and the filet mignon was the favorite entrée. We had it Oscar style, but it wasn't worth the extra money. Overall, nice little place.

I was greeted by Edgar who was very nice, professional, and accommodating. He cleared our table, brought chips and salsa, and reassured us that our waiter would be with us shortly. Our enchiladas Suizas were fantastic along with the side of rice and beans. Our margarita drinks were delicious, but had very little alcohol. We ordered a second margarita assuming our alcoholic beverage may not have been balanced at first, but our second was just as good, yet weak with alcohol. Overall, we would highly recommend returning to this restaurant and might order beers next time.
There was more dough than fish. Maybe pass on the fish and chips if you come. It's like if the fish was thick coated in biscuit dough. Unfortunately, the batter was so thick it was soaked in grease and raw in the inside. I love fish and chips because it should be a tasty meal that is lightly battered, seasoned, and crispy. The texture felt like a fish flavored funnel cake. I feel like the location indicates that ANY fish dish is going to be perfection (freshly caught or... received frozen from a truck). After adding salt, the fries were fine.
High prices even for the area and our food took more than 45 minutes for some people in our group and 10 for others. However, the manager apologized and explained the kitchen was being trained on a new menu and refunded the meal. And the vegan salmon burger tasted fantastic.

Lots of fun things to do here lots of good food to eat and understand it's going to cost you a pretty penny because there's still a little bit overpriced from the bikes to the candy to the water in the soda machine! So many shops but no water to be found anywhere but a soda machine! A soda machine that took over $2 in quarters and decided to jam! Anyway it's a fun place and I suggest anyone visiting Long Beach check it out. They have a boat that takes you around the harbor here I believe they have some whale watching boats too they have sailboat classes teaching you how to sale and bikes you can ride around with three other family members or more! And don't forget Parker's lighthouse which is a place that many of us like to eat during the holidays

Chicken strips, fish sticks, hamburgers and hot dogs all come with fries. Drinks purchase separately. Food is mediocre. Hopefully our pennies spent somehow help out the aquarium?
This place was recommended to us by many friends. It was a long wait to get our table but it was completely worth it. Service was very friendly and helpful. You already know the food is going to be good if they have good chips and salsa. There were 20 people in our party, everyone loved their food, meats were tender, plates were very well served and delicious. The only thing that kind of needs work are the mixed drinks, but it is still a 5 out of 5 for us.
Really great place, take a walk, eat some junk, have lunch or dinner, get in a boat put to sea, have some drinks, rent a bike, join the crowd and dance with the li e band! It has it all close to the beach as well! There are shops with local vendors, hand made stuff and really cute!

This is located right next to the Long Beach Hilton. I have visited Bites several times during conventions, and it can get pretty busy. But the staff has always been courteous and friendly. I quite like the food here, too; I have had the chicken club, the patty melt, and the BBQ Bacon Burger, and all have been very delicious with a nice freshness to them. I have never been here early enough to get breakfast, but I always look at the Breakfast Burritos and think they sound delicious. I like bagels too, and I know that Bites bakes them fresh. I know a lot of people from the 24 Hour Fitness stop here for post-workout refuels. If you're visiting the hotel, or just in the area, give Bites a look.
This place is conveniently placed right behind the Hilton Long Beach. Everything I got from there was pretty cheap for how much you get. And more importantly it was delicious and fast. Really good if you're there on business and receiving a per diem.
I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews. Bites Cafe is awesome with great food, teas and prices. Only stopped in for an Acai bowl and a chai tea, but Adi was so pleasant and helpful; she made the visit that much better. Fantastic customer service. She reminded me of an old coworker. Also introduced me to a new tea brand which is delicious.I would visit daily if I lived in Long Beach. Definitely worth a try. Thank you

Then they have all kinds of restaurants in different village gift shops and or stores, you can rent out boats, bikes, see the Queen Mary to which you off of Shoreline village you can also visit the Queen Mary by reservation you can also catch the Catalina Express and go to Catalina Island as a turnaround adventure. And just look at the beauty of downtown Long Beach and across the way from Shoreline village is the Pike shopping outlets with more restaurants and a movie theater.

Wow. This place was off the hook. Ordered a plant based burger and chips as well as a buffalo cesar salad customary and they tasted phenomenal. Packing so much flavour and portion size for value of money was amazing. Was fully stuffed. I definitely would eat here again and recommend to others. By far one of the best joints on long beach and best vegan burgers I've had to date. This place was special and also has regular customers. The wait wasn't too long and was worth it. The fresh orange juice could be better but the food is super delicious and something I will remember. There chips are freshly fried and cut and the suaces and ingredients like salad etc are super fresh and tasty.
Love this place, however it is a bit over crowded. Parking is way difficult to find. My suggestion, come early or Uber it. There are a lot of great restaurants to choose from. A fun atmosphere for sure.
Nice area. Big menu options. So I think everyone could find something to eat. But luckily we had physical card to pay. Didn’t accept Apple Pay. Which is so weird. So that’s I guess too. Another one. In evening I would rather book the table. Wasn’t full. But they made us wait for 30 min for an available table. Maybe they have specific number of people they accepts. Not sure.. so to avoid this make a reservation. But nice sitting area either inside or outdoors.. next to the water. Definitely must be nice for sunset.

Great atmosphere and customer service. We got there at 9am and we're seated by 9:22am, it got really packed and busy around 10am. The food is delicious, the cinnamon French toast is amazing and I don't even like French toast. The Dennys scramble was really good and I also liked the gravy and biscuits. The kids breakfast menu was limited, but my daughter was happy with her pancakes. They could add more things to the kids menu though. The kids apple juice was good. Need to go back and try their lunch menu. Definitely recommend this place.
Don't come here looking to sit down for breakfast at 10 AM. Come here looking to enjoy the sun, marina and atmosphere fir the morning. Be prepared to wait an hour and a half to two hours on a weekend, but the food is so worth it. Huge plates so come hungry. Crab avocado Benedict was beyond delicious! The Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had, great flavor. t is a bit pricey here, but the price is right for the quality! Service here was friendly and plentiful.
I went to Five Guys to grab a bacon cheese burger, fries, and a strawberry shake. Everything was delicious, but their fries a Second to NONE! Very nice and polite Staff too. Clean store and lots of parking.
We arrived at lunch time and were starving so we went straight to the cafe. Kids enjoyed their pizza and cheeseburger 🍔😋. Fish n chips were good and they had a nice gentleman delivering food. Outside patio also looked like a nice spot to eat. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Great spot to stop by for a bite to eat. Besides having cute Togo boxes, the food is delicious. I had the garlic grilled cheese with chips. Sooooo good! The sandwich had a good chuck of cheese in there and the garlic was a powder on top of bread. It actually worked really well together. Service was great too. The staff were friendly to everyone who went up to order. They also had outdoor seating on the sand. It's really a cute spot.

So I saw a Groupon for this for ultimate experience flamenco show which I thought was good idea to take my friend for her birthday here. But after reading reviews it was free anyway so I decided to not spend money on Groupon and just reserve a table. But that was not the case. The restaurant has now put some shower curtain to cover the show, which I was still able to see from outside and was not impressed at all. The food was ok. Some meat was hard some tender. I felt like they mixed some of meat with old and new meat.I had Lomo Salta do. It was pricey not worth money. Server didn't come to table as often to check if we needed something. Service was mediocre. Sauce was missing from plate, and when wanted to order drink, no where to be found. Over all its good for just one time experience. Beware don't spend the money on Groupon you will end up spending more than u need to. The show only lasts maybe 45 minutes.

Cafe Scuba is inside the Aquarium of the Pacific serving burgers,hot dogs,salads and boxes meals. The cafe is really nice always pack people who enjoying the Aquarium.
We enjoyed sitting in the morning sun, taking in the scene of the bike path and basketball courts, sipping on good coffee. Can recommend the breakfast burrito (which can be heavy on the potatoes but they’ve always been accommodating when I’ve asked for less) and egg sandwich, as well as the chicken buffalo wrap! Friendly and hospitable staff. Also: breakfast served all day! ✔️➕
This was absolutely one of the best vegan burgers I've tasted. That accompanied with the beautiful view of the water was soul pleasing... have to say the woman that served me was nice and sweet as pie. Grateful to have come across this cute little on the beach little gem
Yes, let's talk about this place. Please note, the tasting is based on the flamenco show and dinner. Flamenco dancers and guitarist? They dance, they play, they entertain. Food? Woh, please do not expect much. The paella passes but it's missing the best ingredient (to me), Spanish sausage. Chicken is good, probably the best, Salmon is ok. Dessert wasn't bad. The only drink done well it's the Cadillac. Do not, and I warn you, please do not order an Old fashion. You will be beyond disappointed by what you receive.
Great location, friendly staff and amazing food. They have a variety of different types of beachy foods to try and eachone is freshly made to order. I've gone already for breakfast for the great breakfast burrito or sandwich and several times for lunch trying something new each time. If you have kids they can have some ice cream right after playing on the jungle gym set next door. My favorite new spot to visit for quality food..you will not be disappointed.
The flamenco dancer ( I think her name was Tatiana) was amazing! OMG That lady knows how to entertain. Unfortunately the rest of the the experience wasn't that awesome. They only had one kind of spanish wine at least that's what the bartender told us, thank God it was good. The room for the show wasn't close (private) just for us who paid for the dinner and show, it was open to anyone who walk by in the restaurant
I had fish and chips. It was cold like all they did was cook it in the microwave or just let it sit out in the open. When I ask why the fish and chip were cold I got no response for the waiter. Place is weird. The French fries are under seasoned but they are crispy. Sause tastes okay. For $13.00 dollars not what I would call fish and chip more like soggy cold fish and chip. Did not come with napkins which is odd. Overall this being long beach you would like the fish and chip would be great but not this place. The chefs need a full training on how to make fish and chips. This is a perfect location that have great views of the marina and the water. There is easy access to parking and bike and walking areas along with benches and tables all along this area . Very popular during summer months . Come and see this outstanding area.
Pretty good place to get something to eat while your at the aquarium. Prices are a bit high. The patty melt I had was oily and salty. The monster fries on the other hand were just perfect, not oily and no salt. Be careful what you order if you don't like greasy or salty foods. Look at what others are having to gauge what to expect.

For a restaurant inside a popular attraction that has a rotational and fluid customer base, the overall experience is exceptionally good. The staff are friendly and professional, food is prepared and delivered fast, place is maintained well and clean and the food tastes great. There's a lot of seating and had great capacity to accommodate the crowd in this popular aquarium. I love the customer service of the staff who came to our table multiple times to verify my sandwich order that had some customizations.

I was there to go to Whole Foods. That market is amazing...it makes me feel good to shop there because I know that I am getting some of the best quality food products. The employees are so helpful and friendly....it's like you are in their homes and they want you to be happy. The only problem is the parking and it's a huge problem! The aisles are narrow and the space to park is relatively small. I dread that part of the trip each time I have to go.
Nice little shopping center with plenty of options to grab a quick bite or sit and have a more leisurely lunch. There is also a Whole Foods within so that's always handy! Also just a short walk over to the beach if you wanted to check that out too!! The parking can definitely be a challenge the spots seem pretty narrow, there is usually plenty of parking it's just not the most convenient layout.
