I stopped by Avenue Bistro while I was in the area and decided to take my food to go. I placed my order online for the pizza on flatbread and the chicken and steak tacos. The food was really tasty and filling—just the right portion sizes! The tacos were perfectly sauced, with enough for all three without being overwhelming. The flatbread pizza came with a side of pesto sauce, which was delicious and a great complement to the dish.

I was able to save some for leftovers, and it still tasted great the next day. The restaurant was a bit crowded when I arrived, but luckily, parking was free in the area, which made things convenient.

One downside was that even though I received an order completion time when I placed my order online, I ended up waiting a bit once I got there. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it’s worth noting.
It’s a very cute place to sit and socialize as the name states. Even, better during the holidays. It is transformed into a Christmas Miracle. During the holidays it is called Miracle on Bloomfield. It just the right place to get you into the holiday spirit. We have a few drinks. The Krampus is large but spicy. I had the Chrismapolitan. While the cup is small, it packs a punch. The Secret Santa was a hit too. My burger and fries were very tasty but they ran out of buns - they offered different choices of bread but it wasn’t the same. The sticky shrimp and wings were a hit with some members of my party. Overall a great night.
We had the most amazing experience at Parkside Social Miracle on Bloomfield! The atmosphere was festive and welcoming, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was our waiter, Jordan. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His personality was absolutely spot-on—friendly, attentive, and effortlessly charming. We couldn’t stop talking about how his demeanor is exactly what a waiter’s should be!

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, with flavors that hit the mark in every way. While everything was perfect, we HIGHLY recommend adding a chocolate lava cake or chocolate meltdown to the dessert menu—it would truly elevate the dining experience to the next level.

Can’t wait to return and will definitely be requesting Jordan again! Highly recommend!
A cozy establishment in Verona serving up tasty American fare. Servers and staff were very nice. Really enjoyed the prosciutto and burata toast appetizer. My French Dip sandwich was honestly one of the best I've ever had - not too big or small, not too much horseradish or not enough, was very good. I'm a pumpkin fan and their pumpkin creme brulle dessert was terrific. A solid spot.

Food is delicious, mixed drinks are fantastic and great selection of quality beer (I'm a huge fan of IPA's and there's always numerous options that all rank among my favorites). Service is outstanding! Especially the bartenders!
My boyfriend and I had brunch on the patio on this gorgeous day. As Gen Z would say, the vibes were immaculate. Food was beautifully presented, and DELICIOUS. The cocktails are insanely good. We need to give a shout out to our server, Mike. He is so friendly, down to earth, and attentive. We had so much fun chatting with him!!! We will be back soon, and we’ll certainly be requesting him!
An incredible experience. Great food and drinks. The service is simply perfect! All very polite and friendly. The internal area is beautiful and cozy and the external area in happy hour time is beautiful. My friends and I were delighted and we definitely recommend it and we will come back.
We walked into the restaurant and nobody greeted us for what felt like a long time. There were a few people sitting at the bar and the bartender. It looked barren and it smelt like wet dog. It was quite an unwelcoming entrance. FINALLY, we’re told we can sit wherever. Sat there for some time more waiting for menus. We decided we wanted to sit outside since we felt we wouldn’t be remembered and there were others outside. Also the smell was gross and didn’t want to eat smelling it. We were moved and had to wait even more for menus.

Eventually we order some drinks which take FOREVER. Everything seemed to take so long. There was only one couple outside at this point and the 2 people at the bar. That’s it. Why is it taking so long? The drinks were balanced and good. The special was great!

We ordered the peach toast and it was just okay. Didn’t blow us away. The cream is too sweet with the peach. Needs a cheese like goat or feta to balance the flavors.

We ordered the half chicken with orzo and steak with potato’s and asparagus. The steak was perfect. Potatoes so buttery, melted in your mouth, great flavors. Asparagus perfect. The chicken was slightly dry, and the dish was too sweet for my liking. The sun dried tomatoes were good but overall just a wrong choice to order for myself. I wish I got something different.

At this point we knew it’d take forever for dessert so we went elsewhere.

The back patio has bees and was all over my hot honey chicken. We had to make a scene and kill it because we knew it wouldn’t leave the honey alone.

We wouldn’t go back here. Not worth the hype. Spent too much.

My Daughter's 30th Birthday Party was held here. Juliet the manager, Jack the bartender and the whole staff were just wonderful. Everything looked beautiful, the food was excellent, the service was polite, hard working and appreciated. The only complaint I have was please get that outdoor room cooled down somehow, maybe more fans, it was so hot but other then that EVERYTHING was excellent and I'm very grateful for the lovely time we had!

Amazing place!!

Loved the outdoor seating. The food was fantastic—I tried the pork chops and penne vodka!

The best part is you can bring your pup. They even have a little dog menu.

Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!
We came here for a Saturday brunch and had such a great time! The atmosphere was very chilled and it wasn't too crowded. We had to find street parking but it wasn't too bad. The food was really good and the bottomless mimosas are a must! I had The Berkshire eggs Benedict and my hubby got the Steak and eggs (steak was really juicy with chimichurri sauce). Plus we shared some deviled eggs, also good!

Came in for dinner on a Friday about 6pm in a slight rush (needed to get to Holy Spirit BINGO by 7pm ☺️). We were seated and waited on quickly and efficiently. Atmosphere was nice, but close to the bar which is definitely geared for sports - surrounded by overhead televisions. Drinks were great, had the Witch's Brew cocktail and my partner had beers. We shared the arugula salad, I had the chicken soup which was absolutely delicious and served in a cast iron pot which kept it warm, partner had a cheese burger which he rated about a 3.5 out of 5. Out of there just in time for BINGO. Will definitely be visiting again!
My husband and I enjoyed our first time here! We didn't see a sign outside the restaurant and the sign on the door is small so it took us a second to find the restaurant. The inside felt cozy with nice decorations and a warm vibe. The hostess was very friendly and sat us immediately. Our server was Christine and she was excellent at helping us decide what to order and answering any questions we had. We started with cocktails and the ricotta toast which was delicious. We also shared the sweet potato fries which were really yummy bit a little soggy. I ordered the Lemon Roasted Chicken and my husband had the Halibut. We both enjoyed our meals. My husband said the Halibut was super flavorful but maybe just a tad dry. For dessert we split the panacotta and carrot cake from the specials. Wow! Probably the best carrot anything we've ever tasted. It should definitely be a set menu item! The pannacotta was also terrific. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back.

Had dinner here on St Patty’s Day. Great service, good food & drinks, fun festive vibe. It was crowed with a live band in another room from where we were dining. We arrived 10 mins early for our reservation and was seated immediately. This is rare in my experience. Our waitperson was exceptional and though it was crowed the manager still made time to check on us personally. From what we observed this restaurant was run very well. It was a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Returned this year on St Patrick’s Day, food still great! Menu was a little different than last year but still very good. We won’t wait another year to return. (The last 5 photos are new.)

Brunch. Presentation was excellent, service and pricing was good. Home fries excellent. Strawberries fresh. OJ good. French toast was good and had a unidentifiable flavor (would like a little more egg batter and 2 slices of small thin bread is NOT enough!). BEST ginger ale that stood up to the cubes (hard to come by)!!!Nicely designed and unique looking waffle BUT they need a different batter...TOO THICK AND CAKEY and not hot enough to melt the maple butter!!!
