Recently visited and was asked to repeat my food allergy. Once they noticed my chicken was grilled on same grill as salmon- they immediately made another chicken breast for me!!!
Came by for lunch and had the filet Mignon Pita wrap. I think if the steak was cut into smaller pieces, it would be easier to eat.
Some AMAZING Greek food. They even had Chicken Gyro for those that can't have the traditional.

I was passing by with my hungry family of 4, no reservations and we had a blast.
They treated my kids very cordially, despite them being loud and restless sometimes. They ate what was appropriately suggested by server. The food was delicious, worth the price. Recommended.
Restaurant is bright, contemporary and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the gyros plate (w/ two sides) and the fries were flavorless and BONE DRY, gyro meat was dry as well (felt microwaved) and the onions were withered. The avgolemono soup was quite good, but my overall experience with the food will likely mean I won't be back.

This was the best sushi I've had in a while.
I ordered the summer roll and spicy salmon deluxe. Both were incredible and the quality of the fish was amazing. The only very very minor issue was that the rolls came with 5 or 6 pieces instead of 6 or 8, but had the same amount of rice and filling so each piece was really big and a little hard to eat in one bite - this would not discourage me from getting them again. The two rolls were very filling.

I also ordered miso soup, which was very good as well and not too salty.

We were the only customers at one point (2pm on a Saturday), so our food came out really quickly. Service was great and our waters were consistently refilled.

We placed an order for pick up at 5:52 and it was supposed to be ready at 6:50-7 and we get there and they say to cancel our order because they do not know how long it is going to be. It is Valentine’s Day and my girlfriend is very sad she will not be getting sushi. They did not seem to care much about our order and did nothing. Very disappointed.

Fantastic place to get sushi! The sushi is fresh and tastes amazing. The service is also very good. Very friendly staff. The food came out very quickly as well. Definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover! The experience was a 10/10.

This was genuinely such a treat! The restaurant is split into two areas, one for pickup and the other the dining hall with a full service sushi bar. I loved the traditional Japanese details mixed in with the modern flair of creature comforts like booth seating. The owner or perhaps the hostess greeted and served me. I assume she was the owner because she directed the other staff while I was there. Anyways, her service was excellent and I ordered the Japanese fried chicken which was soooo good even without sauce! The flavors of the chicken were nice and full with juicy bites and savory taste. I also squeezed some lemon juice on top of the chicken as it was provided on the side. This boosted the flavor. Would definitely recommend this dish. For my entree I ordered the Sukiyaki I believe it was called; a beef stew with cabbage and onion and glass noodles. The portion was way too big for me after eating the chicken and drinking the hot sake I ordered, but wow what an amazingly warming soup with a great sweet and salty flavor! The beef was so tender and I wanted a lot more of it to be honest. The cabbage was perfection and my only complaint was that my soup had too many onions so it felt more like onion soup with cabbage and beef add ons than a beef soup with some onions in it. All in all, def recommend this restaurant, and I will be trying their other location soon enough! P.S. I made my reservation for 4pm on a Sunday, right before the dinner rush started. There was no one else present when I was seated, and as I was finishing my meal, more people were starting to pour in! They have great food so definitely make a reservation and plan ahead.
Never been here before. Thought I’d stop by. There’s something very powerful about the name “Greek Feast,“ on the front of the building.

Service was great and the woman behind the counter was extremely polite. The food was good, but I felt like it was missing something. In this case, I got a Gyro sandwich and it could’ve used some more meat. There was a lot of pita, and it was lonely… It could’ve used more meat. Especially what you’re paying for the sandwich. The fries were hot and good, very plentiful.

I asked for some extra tzatziki sauce, assuming that there would be a little more meat. Only to find out, as mentioned, that wasn’t the case. So, it became a good dipping sauce for the fries.
We are regular customers at Fujiyama - because it's excellent! Not only is this the best Japanese restaurant in Northbrook, but the surrounding suburbs too. Fresh, tasty melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

A very nice place to eat--solid aesthetics and good amount of seating (the door is kinda heavy though so be aware of that xD).

Food prices are about average, a little above (not terribly expensive, about what you'd expect from a place like this).

Usa was a very nice server and had some great suggestions on how I could pair foods. Salmon deluxe roll was tasty, ordered soba soup and a side of tempura. Tempura was very crispy and tasty, soba tasted good but the noodles were a tad on the soft side for me. Anyways, if you're planning a date or just want lunch, it's a nice place to stop in!

We have been fans of the old town location for many, many years so imagine our surprise when we saw that there is a location close to us in the suburbs. Oh my goodness, we love this place! We dine here on a regular basis and it's because the sushi is always delicious, always consistent and with outstanding service. Thank you!
The spicy tuna hand roll is a must. It's one of the best spicy tuna hand rolls we have had and what makes it stand out from the rest is that you can see the pieces of tuna! It's not just mixed in. Dining here for lunch is a breeze with menu special options. We have brought guests who are not fans of sushi and they have enjoyed the many other items offered like yakisoba, bento boxes and more. P.S. We see lots of regulars which is always a good sign.
We love it and also appreciate the fact that they make kids feel welcomed.

Kyle G's is on the Beach with a magnificent view of the Ocean from the Outdoor Patio to the Tables lined up inside. Live Music at Happy Hour on the Deck with Full Tiki Bar and Dinner seating. Sunsets are spectacular. The food is a seafood cultural fusion of French, Italian & Mexican delights. You can not go wrong with the Menu or the Bartender inspired Drink list.😋 🍹🧉🧋🥂🍻
What a sweet little sushi house!
There are only 7 tables inside, so it feels very cozy and friendly. The sushi is fantastic, very fresh and flavorful. I'll definitely be back.
Soooo good! The gyro was fantastic - the sauce was mild but not bland, the pita bread was soft, the tomatoes fresh, and the beef perfectly seasoned. The fries were AMAZING - so perfectly salty! Will definitely return for gyros and fries.

the food there is not worth the money, there are waaaaaay too many sushi places that have a creative and delicious menu instead of this gross and rude restaurant. the owners have let this place go, it's pretty run down, and on top of it, they are extremely rude. if you don't appreciate your customers, find another job/business, having a nasty server/owner is no way to start a meal.
Fantastic find. Great food, great people. Our waitress was Greek. Food was true to Greek traditions - for example they put fries in the pita not on the side. The Greek salad was picturesque. So I am including a picture to this review. Real
Olive oil, not a pre done salad dressing. Great! Their rice was cooked with butter. Salmon souvlaki was cooked to perfection. Too bad we live 30 mins away. We will revisit as much as we can. PS: my only complaint is the canned soda selections. Wish they had refills. Oh well, no biggie.
I hate to say it but I won't be going back. The menu was greasy and dirty. I didn't want to touch it. It felt like a bunch of other people's greasy fingers had been all over it. The plates that they served the sushi on were also greasy on the underside and slippery. It seemed that they just didn't have the time to clean up properly after themselves. I also felt that there was no value. They charged $5 for a five-piece cucumber roll. I ordered a $14 roll that had crab and white tuna and I struggled to identify where the fish was. It looked mostly like rice.

Finally, the server had the personality of the fish that they were serving. I really just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.
Eat here!!!! The food is so phenomenal it physically pains me that I can’t eat here every day. The portions are extremely generous for the amount you pay and the staff is so sweet! It’s at a great location with a stylish exterior and a cute dining room. Again, the food is literally god sent. You can’t over exaggerate about how good this place is! If you are in Illinois and are a good food enthusiast, eat here!!!
Fujiyama still continue delivers good foods even though they changed owner. I'll defly come back.
Excellent Place for Sushi. The sashimi cuts are generous and the fish/seafood quality is superb. It literally melts in your mouth where you can truly appreciate the flavor.

Reminds me of some of the sushi quality I got in Japan and Taiwan. The sushi chef is legit.

And the best part is that it is very affordable.

Expect to spend $50 - $70 for two people.

Rainbow Roll + Rose Crunch + Sashimi are A-mazing
It's become a ritual for my family to visit Fujiyama every few months. We travel all the way from Naperville to taste Chef Shim's delicacy, and it's time and money well spent! Ingredients can be customized upon request and food quality and freshness far exceeds one's expectations. These bite size gorgeous looking rolls just melt and disappears on my tongue! If you want to dine out for any occasions, this is "the" place! I'd rate Fujiyama 5 stars plus!!! Thanks!
Amazing and authentic Japanese restaurant. The owner and the chef carries only top quality fish and Sake. Excellent service with reasonable price! Must come and eat here!!!
