I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was far from tasty—bland and lacking authentic flavor especially the chicken Biryani. The portion sizes were extremely small and did not justify the high prices. On top of that, they even charged comparatively more for takeaway containers, ($1 each, which by far is the highest I’ve ever had to pay for small sized containers). The hygiene standards were questionable at best. The place didn’t feel clean, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. To make things worse, the service was terrible—my order was completely missed, and the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive.
For the price they charge, I expected much better. I definitely won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Also it’s better to take cash because they charge extra for cards.

I ordered the Thali, and masala chai, for lunch.

Pros: Chicken Tikka and Dahl Tadka curries were very tasty with a bit of nice heat.
Roti was fresh and the pickle tasted good.
Masala chai was also punchy in flavour.

Cons: Rice and salad was dry/not fresh

Overall, still great value for money since it's very fair priced. The flavour outweighs the negatives. Service was fine also.

I ordered curry rice meal and the curry was much less and when I asked for extra curry they refused which I didn't like at all. As an Indian citizen I expected this to be a Punjabi restaurant as they are known for their great hospitality. Overall the taste was good but hospitality was totally opposite.

Went there was super super busy and it eas 9:30pm!
Had the tika masala chicken and butter chicken. Yes butter chicken is westernised Indian food but I love it.

The place was packed with South Asians so you know the taste us going to be good!

Lost marks on service because you didnt quite know what you needed to do. Sit first and table order or order at counter or what. Then when I was at the counter a patron was having a spirited conversation with problems with his credit card with the manager meanwhile three people were waiting.
I reviewed this restaurant on a Friday afternoon. Good variety of seating, good for large crowds & kids.
Hmmmmm the food was nice, I had the Vindaloo lamb with rice, which should have been very spicy, but I found it a little bit tame. Still nice, but a little bit tame. They had a good variety on the menu, but I felt like I was cattle being corralled.
The service.... Hmmmm, I don't know about that. The girl on the checkout made my experience harder than it had to be. If she listened to the customer (me) at what I was trying to ask her, like "where do I collect my food?', instead of interrupting me & assuming what I wanted, they'd be getting a better review. Also I'm not a fan of those stupid little buzzy things to collect your food in a restaurant, you're a restaurant, not a good court, pub, etc, serve the food to your paying customers.
Also the payment system... The cashier didn't give me the choice to pay cash or card, she just ran it up on card, & gave me a surcharge, it wasn't til after when I overheard her offer someone else cash or card that I realised they had the option. I would've preferred to pay cash, & not copped the surcharge.
The bar service... Next time, give someone the complete options, not just what gets it through quicker for you.
Finally the state of the kitchen... Hmmm I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of the kitchen as they were receiving deliveries, & although "clean enough", (yes I've done my kitchen health & hygiene course), the chaos & having things stored in there that shouldn't be kept with or near food isn't a good look, I wish I could've sneaked photos of it.
Would I go to this restaurant again? No, I would not.

I had a Lunch Meal Deal (goat curry with rice and sprite) and I can recommend this place. It is simple, but it's all you need. It's clean, the food was good and I would say authentic. And the PRICE! (11,5 AUD for the whole lunch) That was the best. :-) They also had fitting songs playing on the radio.

The food here is super delicious, and they give a huge quantity too. It's awesome food, we really enjoyed coming here and the prices are also reasonable. Very good vegetarian food here.

We had to wait some time for food to come, and lots of other reviews mention the same. If the restaurant gets crowded then you may need to wait for your food, so you should keep some extra time available when coming here. But otherwise, the food is made so well that it made the experience worth it!
