Don't waste your money, this place stinks. Ordered online for pickup and upon walking in it's a bad sign when only one customer is there... Same quality if not worse than little caesars cheap pizza. Cheesy garlic bread is all cheese, no garlic and very flavorless. BBQ pizza is low quality tasting and not impressive with flavors or crust. Definitely mad I wasted my money on this. It's edible, but I won't be back.
This was our first time eating pizza here. It was nice to sit and talk while we had dinner. Low noise and very clean. Pizza was very good, loved the crust too.
Pizza was absolutely delicious! Also had a salad that was very large for the price. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this place even though it's a little ways from the main tourist spots.
We were visiting Monterey and decided to eat here. Both the pizza and the service were great! We would definitely go back :)

As an amateur chef myself, I am constantly looking for a restaurant that will impress me. Using the right flavors in the right places. Having a well varied menu covering whatever flavors you're favoring. The menu is fantastic... I struggled to choose. Service was great considering how busy they were. The crispy piña colada was perfectly mixed. Bacon wrapped scallops cooked to perfection, and clam chowder had a buttermilk flavor that was surprising but welcome. The skirt steak was cooked at exactly the temp I asked for... which is rare for a busy restaurant. As I'm walking out, the staff was saying goodbye and was met with smiles.
Alvarado is a great place for drinks and dinner. The food is always great and I’ve been told the beer is good (but I don’t think beer). However, the cocktails are great too! The place definitely gets crowded really quick so prepare for a wait if you wanted a table or else I recommend just eating at the tabletops.
Ordered half dozen oysters, calamari, and spicy shrimp pasta in a red sauce. The vibes are casual but are common to hear crying/loud children due to being close to the aquarium. The pasta wasn’t spicy at all but still tasted good
Went to Chart House for the first time for one of their wine pairing dinners for a work event. Great view of the water! The wine pairing was well done and it was great to have someone come around and tell us specifically about the wine. The organizer of the work event did not ask about dietary restrictions, so when I informed the staff that I was allergic to mushrooms and the person next to me was vegan, they immediately got on it and had other options for us to partake in like it was all already planned out, very impressive and we were thankful that they were able to accommodate. The braised short rib was amazing.
I had the Awesome Combo Mini pizza. I would recommend trying this pizza for dine in. I thought it was really good right out of the oven. The service was great.

Great looking place. Service was on point. Unfortunately, food was only decent, especially for the price. The manhattan, though pricey, was the best I’ve ever had. The fluer de lis drink was also tasty.

I would go back here for drinks and the ambiance and maybe the over priced salad bar (as an entree experience). Old Fisherman’s Grotto has this place beat in spades for the money. Go there.

Our waitress seemed very inconvenienced by us, had our party passing our own plates around when our food arrived, didn’t bring bread until our entrees came to the table, and hovered over us as we were bussing our own table, at her request, while some of our party was still eating.
There was also a woman in there who appeared to be an off duty employee who frequently stared at our group and tried to jump into our group photo.
The menu also states that the check can be split and she did not allow us to do this.
I also planned to pay partially with cash as someone in our party paid their portion in cash and she made a big deal about taking the cash as well. I could understand if the restaurant was busy, but there was only one other table consisting of two people in the whole restaurant.

This was our third time here in the past 10 years. The service is good, but a bit over-the-top and showy (the kind of upselling you’d expect in a high tourist area).
The food is solid but pricey and lacking in a just the slightest sense (flavor, presentation).
The view is phenomenal and the atmosphere is one of the best on Cannery Row.

This is a place where I can take my wife and son for special occasions. The atmosphere is amazing, especially when you’re seated by the window overlooking the ocean. All of the waiters I’ve met are great and the food is amazing 🤩. If you have a special occasion to celebrate or even just to go out with some close friends, I highly recommend it. A great place to talk business as well.
Shout out to Charthouse for always being accommodating. Reservations are recommended by the wait if you walk in isn’t too bad.

Made reservations online via Yelp and requested a window table. Got here early so enjoyed the happy hour at the bar while the kids shopped. Extensive happy hour drink menu with creative options. When we were seated, we got a wonderful table over the water and enjoyed watching otters swim by. As expected, lots of seafood options but the steak entrees also looked good. Service was top notch, as were the recommendations. Definitely consider the Fish Hopper if you are in Monterey!
I came here with my family this last weekend and wanted to make sure I completed this review based off the fantastic experience I had at this location. Desiree was extremely nice and helpful. Desiree even accommodated us by taking me to look at the table that was available to ensure that worked for my family and let me know there was another option if it did not work for us. I have to say I have never had a restaurant employee treat me that good. I really felt welcomed and taken care of.
When we sat down we were assisted by waitress Autumn who was wonderful herself. Autumn was very friendly, attentive and had good knowledge of the menu. Exactly how you would like your server to be. She took very good care of us our whole visit. Overall the food, service and atmosphere were awesome. I would definitely recommend coming here when you're in Monterey. I for sure will be coming back very soon.

What a fantastic meal. Service was wonderful and the food what absolutely amazing . Like going back to Italy. 🇮🇹. You must go here to experience true Italian food and service!! We had the specials ..scallops and ravioli and the halibut. Both spectacular. If you are local you already know but if you are visiting you will be happy if you can get a reservation here. You won’t be disappointed.
The atmosphere is amazing with the ocean backdrop and sound of the waves crashing. The service is top notch! Our waiter was the best from helping me choose what to order to just his overall demeanor of kindness and helpfulness. The food….its a 12 out of 10! Fresh, well seasoned, great portions and absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef!! Well done!!
Great stop on my beer bucket list but $26USD for a flight of six sample beers was ridiculous. I’ve checked in 12,000 beers on Untapped and have traveled from Copenhagen to Vancouver chasing great beers. This place has the beers but I could have had three pints for the cost of this flight. Staff were great, but I think this was by far the most expensive flight I’ve ever had.

Family of 5. Amazing harbor views. Very nice ambiance. Very friendly staff. All the food was delicious. Pictured is the cioppino. They had simple pastas for picky kids + gelato dessert (spumoni). I highly recommend!
great food! The cod special was extremely delicious with buttery melt-in-your-mouth cod with crispy skin on top. Gnocchi was very flavorful. Calamari was very soft. Overall pretty great!
Fantastic atmosphere with a wonderful patio seating overlooking the beautiful Monterey Bay. The food came quickly as the friendly staff helped attend to all of our needs. This place gets quite busy during lunch and during evening service, so please arrive early. I think dollar for dollar. It's a bit expensive but locally it's right on point. All right
Great place to eat and have some great beers! Had the cheeseburger an it was excelent and drunk a lot of fantastic beers.
We visited on a Friday early evening and were seated right away on the outdoor deck facing the water. The waiter was quick and polite. Crab cake appetizer was yummy. I had the lobster risotto which was amazing! (Lobster tail, scallops, and prawns over risotto and mixed veggies) 10/10 would get again. My husband ordered fish and chips which is said were good as well. Cocktails weren’t great, I’d stick to wine.
FOOD: Hamburger... patty is 4oz before cooking, which is why they offer a double patty for extra $$. Burgers come with "vege fixins'" and fries add $ for garlic fries that really have little to no garlic. The cost was $22 with 2 patties which were probably 1/3 patty once cooked. I had no sauce on the burger. Burger was good with a great, soft, airy bun.
PIZZA: Kid pizza is the same size as regular. Borrow someone's kid while ordering and save $$$:)) Just joking...

Fantastic dinner and great service! I was on a business trip for a Realtor Conference and managed to get a reservation here on Valentine's Day! I had the filet with a starter salad. The food was delicious and my server was very attentive. The rooms and bar were very nicely appointed and the salad bar is something you don't see very often anymore, so that was a welcome site. If I had more time, I would have come back for that.

Excellent food and atmosphere is very inviting and easygoing. We originally had it to go but ended up eating it all in one sitting, it was so delicious and piping hot! Perfect pizza, great dough, cooked just right, good amount of cheese and sauce. Managed to take a picture of the last slice before it was devoured in 2 minutes. Thanks guys! We will definitely be back ;)
Easy location right across from the Coast Guard station. Plenty of parking and great view of the bay. We were seated right away without reservation on a Friday evening. Would recommend trying out their daily specials. Fresh oysters from Washington state were one of the special served as appetizer. Burrata cheese was delicious. Tasty dishes and great service.
Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The atmosphere is incredible, service was amazing and the food was spectacular! They really make their customers feel like family and friends. We stayed a week in Monterey and we ate at this place 4 times, we never do that, we usually like to try different restaurants in areas we visit but the first time we went there we knew we found a hidden gem. Have Ricky make you an espresso martini!
Nicer views of the bay and not as crowded as the wharf. Calamari was less chewy at Cafe Fina but they have great local sand dabs.
I came here after years again. The location is much better and has plenty of parking. The food is just as good as it used to be. They do have hash browns if you are like means don’t like country potatoes. The mushroom caps are really delicious. The pancakes are fluffy.

We sat out on the back patio, and it was a beautiful experience from start to finish. Amongst the other bartenders out there, Rachel took incredible care of us. She was so personable, making suggestions of items on the menu we might enjoy and she was right about everything. Top tier hospitality! I can’t recommend this place enough. Incredible food, excellent beer, and a warm and inviting atmosphere create the perfect night out. We came in from out of town and it was just what we needed. Thank you! We will be back!
This place was recommended by friends. We went for breakfast .These people know how to cook! In their menu it says " we've dedicated our lives to this". And it shows! They use spices well, everything was cooked well. Nothing was over or under cooked. I've never seen pancakes that size in my life! Our server was very nice and anticipated questions which was helpful for a couple of the dishes. And even asked before removing plates!! We look forward to going back and bringing people
Worth the wait! You get a lot of food and was all yummy! Had the the portobello omelette and te gluten free pancake which was massive! Super soft and tasty! They don’t clean the grill for the pancakes so. If you’re allergic be careful! Will definitely be back!
Great brewery in Monterrey. Great location with a 5 min walk to fisherman’s wharf. Excellent beer options, Hazy and IPA choice’s were great. Had the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich, well cooked but did lack a level of spice I would expect. Fish and chips that our guests had were excellent. Place was busy but service was quick. Highly recommend.

Amazing. Servings are Enormous. We split the spicy breakfast sandwich and a single blueberry ricotta pancake. It was the perfect amount. We were stuffed but kept going back for more. We will be having breakfast here again.
Very fresh fish options. Partner and I went and we enjoyed all we ordered especially the green tea cheesecake! I got the mama Mia roll and loved the little lemon wedge on top. Gave the rolls a nice freshness. Great option for local sushi while visiting Monterey.
The service is always very fast and the food is always delicious. Food and pace are important, but what really makes this place stand out is the staff and their customer service. The employees seem to all get along really well and work together as a team to efficiently serve the guests. Everyone is professional and very friendly.

Delicious espresso coffee drinks! The atmosphere is enveloped with the "Brittany" decor & the crept music is a perfect touch. The sweet crepes are very good and sprinkled with toppings & powdered sugar. The savory turkey/ ham was good but tasted more like lunch meat slices. A little sprinkling of herbs or cheese would look more complete. The buckwheat was a very nice touch. Really appreciated outside tables since we had our dog.

Decent food options closest to the bay. Tried the sunny side up egg, cheese, and ham crepe with a cup of cappachino. The crepe was okay, but a little too oily and salty for my liking. The cappachino was delicious and massive, which is great!! The staff are very nice and polite. The food too came pretty quickly. Outdoor seating is amazing on beautiful days.
We found this place chasing around Aquarium. There are several sushi places there. But we chose this one based on menu and reviews. The interior is pretty simple. The owners definitely have centered their attention more to food because the food there was delicious. We tried many things and even some people around ordered "the same" after us. Lol. Sushi was very fresh and soft enough to stay sticky. Fast service. Exactly what hungry traveller were looking for being new to this area. We left there about $200 for 3 people but it was worth it. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing anniversary dinner. Starting at the bar… NATE WAS THE BEST!!! He made us delicious espresso martinis and had great conversation. Genevieve was a great waitress. Very honest and wonderful. The rest of the staff was kinda stiff but the food made up for it! ❤️😍
WOW! This place is great. Location, staff, speed of service, quality and quantity of food...what more can you ask for? We spent last week in the Monterey Bay area and had several places on our "breakfast list." After we went to First Awakenings, we dumped the remainder of the list and just enjoyed breakfast here (3 days in a row). I ordered The Works. As you can see....I cleared the plate.
This is my favorite sushi place in the Monterey area. It is best to get there a little bit before opening to guarantee a spot. This place really excels in sushi rolls and appetizers. The uni and mussel shooters are awesome as well as the Dragon Ball Z. We also like to get food to go sometimes and go eat down by the water. The Death Star Roll is my favorite but the Green Salmon and Kamikaze are also great. The fish quality is great so the nigiri is always delicious. Definitely try this place if you love sushi.
Awesome place for date night! We got a window table with a new view of Monterey bay. Service was impeccable and food was delicious! The lava cake was a little dry but the main dish was great! Get the ravioli beets! The best! Highly recommend!

Another excellent experience in Monterey. Sweet and Savory crepes plus a few French items and espresso is available. Seating is mostly outside on a promenade, with some seating inside. Food is delicious! Crepes could have a better presentation, but they tasted really good. I had the imported brie and caramelized onion with added ham and a soy caramel macchiato.
I came here right when they opened again at 5 pm to avoid the busy crowd. We ordered the Rainbow roll, the firecracker roll and two miso soups as an appetizer. As is tradition, I ordered a large Sapporo as well. The server and staff was extremely attentive, kind, caring and helpful. Three different staff members came up to our table so we felt well taken care of. The sushi has a very good taste and the rice doesn't taste old/stall like some other sushi places I've been to in the past. I highly recommend this sushi joint if you are in the Monterey area.

Made our way here while trying to find a place that was open between lunch and dinner service. The service was actually very attentive and nice even though our waiter sounded a little gruff at first. The sheer number of options on the menu was very impressive. We got a few different things to try and every was cooked well and properly seasoned. The crispy rice soup really hit the spot today with the gloomy weather. There was also a lot of vegetarian options for those looking for that. The slightly higher cost is justified by the big portions. We would not hesitate to stop by again!

Oof. This place makes the Philly roll with smoked salmon instead of regular salmon and cost extra to modify ($10+mod). Staff was rude about it when I asked to sub it out. They served the rolls in cuts of 6 instead of 8 and the pieces were too big to eat in one mouthful. Fish was sub par and the avocado was starting to brown.
Motchi was the cheap powdered kind. I wouldn't recommend.

The Crêpes here are good…not great, but not bad either. I had one for breakfast and found it to be more oily/fried tasting than I would’ve liked. (Of course, many Americans prefer this type of flavor so it’s likely just my preference) Also, it seemed like the crepe only had the yolk of the egg…I would’ve liked to have more egg…but good nonetheless.
I would’ve gotten an espresso or something but their espresso machine was broken. (This didn’t make or break the experience…they seemed to be on top of fixing it)

Ordered a smoked salmon crepe and an espresso. The crepe itself was surprisingly oily (which is not expected). It made the overall experience a rather heavy palette. Wasn’t a fan of the espresso either. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

I really loved this place, they greet you really kindly and they give you the options to eat inside or outside. They are pet friendly too. Their menu has so many delicious options, if you haven't been to the place don't miss out it really is worth eating here for breakfast or lunch. Their portions are great for what you are paying. Will come back, this is the spot for breakfast! 😌
The food was delicious. We tried three different pasta plates and all were delicious. Must try if you are in Monterey.
The food was pretty good but it definitely wasn’t worth the price. A berry bowl is $9 while a decent entree can range between $15-24ish dollars. Furthermore, if you’re vegetarian, good like finding options you can eat without burning a hole in your pocket. That being said the taste is good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s convenient to just buy lunch or dinner instead of lugging it around with you at the aquarium the entire day. I would recommend.
Nice location and view of the harbor area. Food was very good with fresh local menu options. The owner greeted us and explained daily specials and new menu items. There was a little confusion with servers; one only did water and it took about 25 minutes to actually order our food. That’s the only reason for losing a star on service. After that everything went smoothly. They give you complimentary bread with an oil and vinegar dip which was very nice. Food was presented very well and everything was very good. I would go here again. There were many menu items that I wanted to try and it was hard to decide which to have.
I’m visiting out of town and was thrilled that my parents took me to this fabulous restaurant! We enjoyed ample servings of deliciousness everything was above superb and will definitely make this a “Go to” whenever I am in town.Grab some gianormous pancakes or avocado toast(So good!)Service was incredible despite how busy they were 😃❤️
Beautiful deck, friendly service, and great food! Best carbonara I've EVER had! I added prawns and was pleasantly surprised with how large they were and how many I received. My husband got the sea bass and finished his plate quickly. Highly recommend!
I miss the cafes of Portugal. Stopped by here and sat outside with a delicious sandwich and cappuccino. They have a lovely little spot in the plaza with plenty of people watching. Just like a little cafe in Europe.
Best Chinese food restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula. Forget sushi—Instead, enjoy the 40-year talent of the chef de cuisine here! You won’t be disappointed.
If you respect yourself and don’t have to come here, don’t. We tried using their kiosk system to order our food and it took over an hour to come out. It wasn’t bad, but listening to a bunch of rude adults mismanage their rambunctious children for an hour was exceedingly awful.
Just wow!!! We did not make a reservation but we were able to sit at the bar and that was the best thing we did! Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive!! The drink experience was fresh and vibrant. We opted for the side service and that was a fantastic experience. Our food was delicious!

First, we ordered the calamari appetizer and it was brought out the same time as our entrees. While the calamari was tender, it barely had coating on most pieces and it was not crispy at all. It was like it was pan-fried instead of deep fried.
I ordered one of their specials that had a mix of seafood - fish, shrimp, calamari, mussels, and clams, with white wine sauce over pasta. The calamari was so overcooked it was very very chewy. The shrimp were a touch overcooked too. The mussels, clams, and fish were good and the dish overall had a good amount of seafood, but the texture of the shrimp and calamari ruined it. My friends' dishes were tasty and both were big portions. I just don't think the food was worth the price and probably wouldn't go back.

Seaside Panda is never good and they don’t keep up with the cooking. I usually go Monterey. The last few times have been bad service and sitting food. Tonight I went to try once more. I got there a little after 7 and they closed at 8. There was nothing and they said they stopped cooking because their only chef had to leave early. Terrible and I am done
We went to Paulca for dinner and were seated upstairs right away because there was a private event on the ground floor. The place was loud, and upstairs seating meant we didn't get any attention, we had to go downstairs and ask for stuff we needed. We couldn't get their attention at all. Food was mediocre. Linguini alla arrabiata and sicilion meatballs, both didn't have enough sauce. We also got tiramius, and I don't know what they were trying to do with that. There were whipped cream dollops on all 4 sides, and chocolate syrup drizzled on the tiramisu. It was too sweet.
We called for takeout, not expecting the world, just some chicken and some rice. Easy take out. They told us 20 minutes, no problem. My husband goes to get our food and is ignorned while the front staff just talks to other people, ignoring him entirely for almost 10 minutes. Finally comes to see what my husband is there for. The waiter Said he would go check in our food. Apparently it's not done, no big deal. But that was not communicated to us. The waiter proceeds to go talk to people sitting down and goes back to ignoring us. After 3 more people come in and are waiting for service, he gets our food.

This place is a little bit pricey for what you get. I can’t say the food had any taste, and the service was good but it’s simply not worth the money and there are much better places around. And I ordered the Kung pao squid and rice. The portion size was small and the squid was overcooked.
All the dishes both looked and tasted delicious. This place is off the beaten path so no wait to be seated. I got the clam chowder and the cod special. Both were great. The views were great and the service was very friendly. My only complaint was the service was pretty slow, but we weren't in a hurry.
Meet our expectations a cafe in a tourist place. It’s a bit pricy but food tastes really good! We ordered the fish chips, they’re crispy and flavorful. And also ordered the shrimp bowl - it’s a healthy option and yum! Staffs were very friendly. There was a line during lunch time but it moved very fast.
Ordered on Uber eats. No option to add things like soy or hot mustard. My 2 item plate was missing an item completely. The greens I ordered were extremely limited. Veggie spring rolls did not come with the sauce. The portions were very small (seemed below the standard portion size). I am only writing this in hopes a manager reads this so they can correct some of these issues.
We came here for breakfast and splurged on a few items. The blueberry crepes were delicious - not too sweet, and the blueberry compote in top was delicious. The salmon and brie crepe (with added caramelized onions) was DELICIOUS. Very hearty and flavorful. The French onion soup was pretty good, but didn't quite compare to the crepes, which were stellar.
This place is a gem. The smoked salmon crepe with grilled onions and raw onions on top was fabulous. The salmon tasted and smelled fresh. It came with lemon to put on top. The French dip soup was amazing. It was just super hot so we had to wait a while to eat it so next time I will have to ask to put the bread aside so it doesn't get very soft and soggy. The blueberry fruit crepe was very good to. The whipped cream on top made a great touch. I like that they have outdoor patio.
Really good food and lots of vegan options, I had the tofu garlic sauce and my mom had the one with fish and it was so good!! Really yummy and affordable, I would recommend them to get better and new cups/silverware it seems a bit old but other than that totally recommend this place
Today at 6:42 my husband went to order the family meal and when I served the worst chow mien it seemed as if they gave us the leftovers because the noodles were cut into small pieces and big and I mean big chunk of onion it wasn't cut at all. My kids said found big chunks of onion too. It seemed the person that had to cut the onion was very very lazy and did not care about the customers. What a disappointment!!
Very tasty and good looking food but holy cow get ready to open your wallet.
When I with my family had a lunch in this cafe, we really loved their chicken and potato fries. But, we did not like their salmon&rice salad. And, the price of foods are a bit high. Anyway, we really enjoyed our lunch sitting in the place with an amazing Ocean view😍

Pizza Factory Monterey has amazing pizza! The crust is crispy and the ingredients, like mushrooms, are fresh. My wife commented that it was the best pizza she has had in a long time.
We came from Los Angeles to see the Cali Roots show and came here for a late lunch. The owner was very nice and the food was very good! We had shrimp fried rice, beef broccoli, pork dumplings, and almond chicken. Thank you Sir!! We will be back!! :)
Love this cafeteria so much, we've dined here often and great food, rather than outside. We are huge supporters of helping out our favorite aquarium because of them pandemic. Worth every dollar...lol.😍

Enjoyed an early dinner. We ordered the following: for appetizer, Brushcetta Gamreroni, included Prawns. Seafood Pasta, included Scallops, Prawns and Mussels. It was supposed to have Clams, but only two shells were found. Linguini Ala Arrabiata, included Prawns and Linguini. All dishes were prepared well, the only drawback is the cold. All seating is outdoors along the water and as the cool breeze turned cold real quick. The food can get cold quick in the evening. Staff was cordial.
Surprisingly really good food for a cafe inside an attraction. Yes it’s a little higher priced than you’d get outside, but not overly priced. Plus the portions are big enough for 2-3 platters feeding a family of four. Also must give credit to all the staff who were extremely friendly and welcoming, even when the crowds were big. Dining room is also fairly large, with great views of the water while you eat. Not a bad dining option all around
Horrible food nothing was good it was all wrong everything was nasty and mushy spent 70$ on junk we called and they wouldn't fix it !!! Literally TRASH WE COULD NOT EVEN EAT IT WAS MUSHY EVERY SINGLE PART!!!!
I have never experience such an unpleasant visit at panda. Please spend more time training your staff. No customer service etiquette. Showed incompetence work ethic, they work too slow and I know portion control is important but 5-6 small piece of chicken is unacceptable.
