if i could give a rating lower than one i would. This restaurant serves does not server authentic japanese food. It tastes like chinese food as it is run by a chinese couple. When I ordered their ‘tonkotsu’ ramen, I was surprised to taste a chicken broth. Tonkotsu literally means only pork. go here if you want a non authentic japanese experience
Even when this is still a new business it’s still so enjoyable! A 10/10 experience, especially with the food that is delivered. You should definitely come here if wanting to experience Japanese cuisines. Just a warning, the menu is still forming with new dishes so it’ll be little to pick.
This Japanese restaurant serve some of my favourite Japanese dishes. I highly recommend Teriyaki Chicken Bento, Amakara Pork Bento and Yakiniku Beef Curry. It’s fantastic, spending two meals for two people and getting an extra dish for $1. It’s very filling and very yummy. Thanks for the delicious food~ :D

A small and cozy Korean restaurant. There is free parking lot Infront of the restaurant but it is always full so have to park on road side and walk there.

Love the self service bar than you can help yourself to refill the kimchi or anything that you like. I personally love the fish cake very much.

The food is very big portion as the 1 hour I was there I can see a lot of people asking for container to take away the extra food that left over.

The only annoying thing is there are flies flying here and there in the restaurant but guess summer is coming.

Overall the food is good and big.

We only ordered BBQ combo and chicken soup and tofu stew but I like they offer kimchi and some cold appetizers is all you can eat!
Next time I will fry other things.
Stuff friendly and helpful.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We ate here for Father’s Day. We tried to book a table a few days ago as we were a very big group but was told that they dont take bookings. Service was very slow - it took them 45 mins to even start cooking fried rice. We cancelled the order because we were almost finished eating and they still havent started cooking it! Way too expensive for what it was. To top it off, they refused to provide ANY cutlery to cut our cake. I’ve never been to a restaurant who refuses to provide cutlery to cut cake even though we spent over $500 for our meal! We also ordered Lettuce leaves as side to bbq and they halved it with sesame leaves without asking us! Disappointing experience, as we were recommended to go here by friends. We will not return.
Great food, great service. Definitely coming back for more.
They have the best marinated meat here and their side dish - particularly the pasta salad 5/5, such a great equaliser on your palate with hot food
Listen, a lot of Hype, absolulte tragic service, impossible to get help unless you physically grabbed someone, was a 1st for 10x of us, I won’t return on principal , there was zero care factor, the BBQ wasn’t working properly, the exhaust wasn’t working this then the BBQ wasn’t working, taking ages for anything to cook, if you didn’t speak manderine, service was zero. Was hard not to be rude and blunt when we needed service. The floors was sticky, the kinda felt dirty. Don’t look too hard at ceilings, doubt health department has walked into this place for a long while.
Could say it was great value, the experience was very over rated, considering what we invested for 10x people at 2x tables. Parking was bad too.

Find a better value for money somewhere else. Very poor service combined with pretty bad spread on the bbq buffet. The serving staff has the horrendous attitude and you have to make repeated requests even for a plate.. and lucky if you get it!!
Food is average regarding taste and poor options..and the dessert is a mind blowing water melon which get shoved off the shelf very soon too..
Don't ever venture if you would love to have a good dinner time with friends or family. Timings are displayed till 10pm..but if only two or three tables are occupied by 8.30pm .. they start the cleaning havoc..nice bit of indulgence with the horrific bleaching smell along with the barbeque.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The staff is friendly and attentive, especially during our BBQ experience. They kindly add rice to our BBQ plate for the Korean fried rice, serving it at the perfect time. Additionally, they graciously provide take-away boxes when we can't finish our meal. Such thoughtful gestures make dining here a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.

Haven’t been back for a while but GOBULL HAS STEPPED UP THEIR GAME!!!! 🔥✨

10/10 amazing customer service and food is 🫶🏽 interior feels much more spacious and clean and they now have a SELF-SERVE bar for side dishes?! My sister was transported back to Korea.

** No reservations/booking available. Walk ins only **

We had the grilled intestines with some soup and ordered a bowl of rice. The manager was an absolute sweetheart and made her rounds to help us and other customers with the grill, even telling us that we should be eating more sides! 🤪 haha

We will be back 💯✨🫶🏽
ps. Didn’t take a lot of photos because it was so damn good 😌
**shoutout to the genius who places slices of bread to soak up the oil from the intestines and so you don’t get oil spitting at you. 👏 **
We’ve had two experiences with Korean BBQ and to be very honest the dining experience we had at this “restaurant” was terrible. Starting with the service… we were new to this restaurant and did not know much about ordering or the buffet. The staff sat us down and neglected to explain what we could order and how the buffet works etc. they were not friendly and due to not being aware of the way things work in that place, we didn’t know what to do in order to receive a plate for food from the buffet. I decided to use one of the plates that they had given us from the set we decided on after somewhat figuring out how to order food, and went to the buffet. As I was walking back, I was yelled at and asked why I had that plate and who said I could grab food from the buffet, I wasn’t aware we had to order the buffet as it wasn’t explained by staff, she took the plate of food away from us which we would have been willing to pay for had we been told. I do not appreciate being publicly yelled at and humiliated due to staffs negligence and lack of care towards customers. The lack of hygiene in this restaurant is appalling… hazards everywhere, slippery floors and all kinds of substances on the floor along with a cockroach. Overall a very uncomfortable experience. Will not be returning as that is one of the worst experiences ever. Also overpriced for the food and service they offer.
It seems they changed their management recently, menu has changed they don't have ramen or other things from last menu. Still they have the specials for lunch at good price with good portions. And also great plus they open from 2pm to 5pm all day service with specials in those afternoon hours. That's great as it is usually hard to find a restaurant open after 2pm. Food was good. Could be better. I asked the staff about the paper plates and those are gone. They are using the normal ceramic plates again. I would come back for those specials.

Food was tasty though meat for both dishes a little overcooked/chewy (braised pork and ox tongue).
It would be nice to have abit more menu details re: spiciness as both the kara chips and the ox tongue dishes had a small amount of spice that was not expected.
Overall, reasonable sized meals for the price.
Very rich Japanese curry, a little sweet, a little spicy, and has an onion flavor. It is very similar to the curry I ate in Japan. The pork chops crispy are thin and the pork is also very soft. The overall food gives Full marks, but the seats are small. In addition, I prefer pork chops without curry sauce. I like to use dipped
Always a pleasure to dine at , huge selection of fresh meat to choose from . There is soju , beer in bottles and on tap . Excellent customer service . For weekend dining it's best to book a table .

The best fried chicken I ever had!!! This place is amazing the food is consistently delicious. Friendly and helpful staff and quiet atmosphere with a little k-pop music in the background. Well worth a visit or many
The foot is really good and such a comfort food. One of the best Japanese food around pinelands Plaza and sunnybank area. Recently they changed the bowl to paper bowl and it tastes good.

Pork curry is pretty good and nanban chicken is creamy and feels authentic.

You can get a side dish for $1 (depending on what days and what they offer) if you spend over $28.

2 people spend $30 ish. So it’s worth it and would come back!

Good range of food for sharing. Hot pots and BBQs have unique choices. Definitely good to go with a big group to get a larger variety. Opens late. Service is good, but is a bit slow when it gets busy.

Definitely one of the hidden gems in Sunnybank hills area

Good comfort food and satisfying the craving for fried chicken..

Place is a bit small but could do takeaway

There are some flavour options that you can have for chicken, but favourite is soy.

Kimchi fries was relatively okay, but the fact that it was just put on top without any other topping, it’s quite standard

Overall 4.5/5

Might come back for takeaway
I came right on New Year's Eve with no expectation because it was late (8:35pm). The staff were happy and so nice to serve our family. We ordered Set F (4 types of marinated meat) for 2 people with some rice and drinks.
The food was fantastic! Their salad went so well with the grilled meat. They also have marinated shredded shallots (typical Korean side dish - just not sure other restaurants don't have it) which is so good to have with everything.
New Year's Eve. Restaurant is closed at 10pm. But all the staff are very nice and smiley 😊
5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Always looking for a good Korean place. Came to this place and honesty it is great value for money. The size of the hot stew is enough to feed two. We had to take home leftovers. The taste is as slightly different to our usual place but it was good. Strange to say this but even the rice was good, nice and fluffy!
We arrived so late at 1.45pm but the two waiter boys still served us very well. Glad we made it. Ordered the set C and it was amazing and more than enough for 2 persons. Ordered a small rice to share between two and it came with a chef special soup which taste like tomato chilli Kimchi style not too sure but it was sooo good! Would definitely come back again! The waygu was sooo tender love it!

Absolutely an amazing Korean fried chicken in Brisbane. When all the franchise shop closed, it still open. The bone in half size with spicy garlic flavour is superb. It prefect for two people. The shop owner is friendly. When i opened it at home still served as hot as dine in.

Such warm customer service as soon as we got to the counter! She was so friendly and welcoming, asking if we wanted the aircon on and if the music was too loud. The food was amazing too - would definitely return!! I loved the burger!! Please give them a try, not many places offer such good service and food 🥰. Thank you Seoul Fry - we will definitely be back 💙

Hands down one of the best Korean fried chicken restaurants in Brisbane. The fried chicken is so fresh and made to order. The spicy garlic flavour was perfect, not spicy, just the right amount of kick and the chicken isn't saturated in sauce. It was juicy and tender and crispy outside. The Marinated BBQ chicken set was good value, came with coleslaw salad, pickled raddish and a serving of fries. It can definitely feed a group of 2 or 3. BBQ had a nice charcoal flavour and a very popular item on the menu. The waitress/owner serving us was really friendly and she made good recommendations as to what to order. All this food for under $50! Definitely worth it! It's quite a small and cosy restaurant.

Gotta share this🤪🤪🤪🤪👍👍👍
This is just another level!!!
The taste and flavour you never experienced before. I have tried almost all Korean Chicken places in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

I love my chicken🤩🤩🤩
The sauce was not too much, not less, it was JUST right.
We drove about 30 mins after the pick up but even after 30mins it was still sooo crispy and crunch 🥰😜😝😘 still sooo yummy!

I can have this literally everyday 🥰🥰
I am sooo glad that I found this place and i got no connection with them if anyone thought i might be their friends or relatives.

They are doing an opening event? Got a 15% off coupon for the next order which is valid until 31/10/21.

I will definitely be back before that and i wanted everyone to know this GOOD NEWS! 👍
Absolutely delicious! The perfectly sumptuous and healthy hot pot to have for dinner during winter. Love everything in it; salmon, enoki mushrooms, cabbage, spinach, tofu, mussels, crab sticks and the wonderful and beautiful miso broth that brought it all home. We also adore the cozy dining ambiance the restaurant had, it had this authentic Japanese feel to it. So low key, so humble and so comforting. ❤️ Staff was friendly and polite. Would definitely return soon and I recommend everyone to visit and try the food. Authentic Japanese meals that’s worth every penny! 🤤🥰
