Pita Inn is consistent in quality and service. The business lunch special is great! I call my order in 10-15 min before arriving during lunchtime rush and it’s almost always ready when I walk in to pick up. There is plenty of parking in the back, no need to jam up Milwaukee Ave trying to find an open spot in front of the building. Perhaps management could place a sign showing that.

We had food catered to a family reunion, all I could say is it was a great experience. The manager understood exactly what I needed to cater to my family. The food was on time. It was freshly hot, and most importantly everyone enjoyed the food. I honestly was afraid that it will not be on time. I will definitely use them again to cater any family reunion, I have from now on.

I go sometimes when I have to go to Glenbrook Hospital. It was my main task when I lived in Glenview and MG. Clean friendly well stocked place. Can get really crowded at times so watch out.

We did not dine in but I gave the venue a 5/5 for being quiet despite the many customers who were dining in. We ordered online and it was such a convenient way to order food and they were ready at the time I indicated for pick up. Picking the food up was also a breeze as there was an associate who directs you as to where to go or which line you have to fall in line in. The food was super delicious. We ordered 2 combination feast and the beef shish kabob so we can taste all the various meats. The meat were very tasty and tender. Also we had a generous amount of rice and the salad was fresh. The lentil soup was full flavored and has the right temperature to savor right away. The garlic sauce is highly recommended!!! My daughter loved the combination of the hot sauce and tahini! In short we truly enjoyed the food and the service. This resto is highly recommended. We even googled this restaurant to know more of its history.
Best food in town. These are his mom’s recipes, and she is sometimes behind the counter, stirring the pot. Bare-bones dining area (it used to be a hotdog stand), but the quality of the food is unsurpassed. Nothing bad on the menu, but I get the chicken plate “Tony Style,” with layers of buckwheat kasha, hummus, and tabbouleh.
We did take out at least once a week during lockdown, and nearly always got it from here. We were not the only ones. There is a small army of regulars, many of whom the owner knows by name.

Hosted a Ramadan dinner here for my family and they were able to accommodate for 25 of us at once! We all sat together and enjoyed the night! As the food goes it’s always a 5 star for me every time I come here but the fact that they where able to serve 25 people at once and all the food was delicious is amazing to me! Thank you to the pita inn staff for making my family get together hassle free!

I'm Armenian & their pilaf is second only to my sacred family recipe. I have NEVER enjoyed/eaten EXCELLENT pilaf ever until we visited. The steak kabobs? PERFECTION! Some of the BEST Baba Ganoush as well. Will be back ASAP!

I have a towing business and don’t get to the north burbs often but as soon I get the call my first thought is “ Yes…Pita Inn”” !!!” Always the same…excellent and consistent. Have the same five grill guys forever smiling because they know they are making everybody so happy. Mixed grill lunch special is best in Chicago. They already had bout 10 tables just after opening at 11am on a Monday…that says it all…

No pics of the food because i gobbled it down as soon as i got it. Amazing!! The rice was out of this world delicious! I haven't enjoyed a rice dish this much in a long time. So freaking good. The chicken and lula kebab were also pretty delicious. The flavors were on point, and the meat was incredibly juicy!! Definitely going back.

Get the lunch special. It's worth it.

Food was incredible. Large portions for a fair price. Small restaurant, but has attentive staff to clean tables and service.

I dined in with a guest and we left a purse behind. After noticing, we called the restaurant and they held it for us. Thank you again!

Best flowers of any Trader Joe's and also best customer service. Come early or park down by Staples.

The layout of aisles is just OK. The produce dead ends all the way in the back and gets quite congested at times so mostly avoid it. Nicest and most efficient employees at checkout.

Busy, crowded place with great prices. Mexican drinks and ice cream are featured along with Mediterranean fare, that's interesting.

I ordered a Shish Kabob sandwich for 6.99. Marinated beef, lettuce, tomato in a pita with hot sauce and a creamy sauce. That's a lot of good food for seven bucks.

Good food, great value. Staff is friendly and efficient and your food comes up fast.

Four and a half stars, rounded up.

Gotta love Trader Joe’s. It’s always just a bit cheaper than you expect it to be which is saying something in 2024 at the grocery store. As always, they rotate products through so, while it’s nice to see new items, there’s always the risk one of your favorites isn’t carried anymore.

I usually like Trader Joe's, but this one in glenview, the floor staff I felt were kinda rude. My mother-in-law asked one of the workers a question, and they responded back very snarly. Then she asked another worker about a soup that wasn't on the shelf (they were restocking the shelves) if they had anymore that worker said"if its not one the shelf then I guess we are out!" I don't think that was the right answer! 🤔

The food was excellent and hot, and the service was on time and friendly. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Overall, it was a complete and satisfying experience.
Food is very fresh. I brought a number of friends and family to this restaurant. I was very disappointed to find out that the lentil soup is not vegetarian. They use chicken bouillon cubes, which I only found out after asking. Great place if you are non-vegetarian. Fewer options if you are vegetarian.
Very good food and fair prices, they have a complete variety in meals and soft drinks, I’ll highly recommend coming here.
The food is absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. Will be back again!

The inside is ok, but the bathrooms smell like a musty old basement. We prefer to pick up. The food is always FANTASTIC. We take many people here to show them REAL SUSHI. DELICIOUS. DELISH. YUM.

We came here for dinner, and the food was great! We ordered 3 plates and baklava, and everything was tasty. For the 3 plates, we ordered a steak kabob plate with Armenian rice pilaf, cabbage salad, and baba ghanouj; a lula kabob plate with mushroom pilaf, cabbage salad, and baba ghanouj; and a lula, steak, and chicken kabob combo plate with mushroom pilaf, cabbage salad, and hummus. In particular, we thought the Armenian rice pilaf was excellent, and the kabobs were all freshly grilled and flavorful. The baklava was also very good. Definitely a great spot for reasonably priced Armenian food!

I have been coming here for at least 7 years. The quality never lets me down. It’s always soo fresh. The prices are great too. We love the lula (beef)! It’s so tender and juicy. Pictured is the lula wrap and plate. With 1 drink total was $23. Can’t beat it!

The food options were plenty, and the food quality was top notch.
First time here and it is delicious. Served hot and fresh. I picked up the Two Way Plate with chicken and beef. The amount of food is great given the price. The staff was fun and friendly. The place is clean and tidy. Definitely coming back to try the kabobs.
This place is delicious and the best value you will probably find in the entire Chicago area. I fed two adults and 4 kids out of a Combo plate. The Lula (ground beef) was our absolute favorite, yet everything was extremely flavorful. This might become a regular place to eat when in the area. Totally recommend.
Love shopping at Trader Joe's here. Consistent and reliable availability of product on shelves. Always well-stocked. Makes grocery shopping a pleasant experience. Freshest floral product and cute greeting cards. Excellent bath and body/ self-care section. Great wines and chocolates posted at the registers 🥳 To top it off, the wonderful employees are consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Excellent sushi with a beautiful and clean dining area and fast service for takeout orders. I'll definitely be coming back.
Great food! I got the lunch special #1. Only reason it's four stars is because 2 of the meats were dry i believe it was the chicken and karma kabob's. The third meat was great though! The rice was delicious! You can eat that all by itself! But their portions are pretty big, I didn't finish my meal.
Going back tomorrow!!
One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants. Great food, and impeccable service. The owner is kind and attentive to customers. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Reasonable prices for a generous amount of food. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern fare. Love to go back again.
Got to check out this place yesterday and it was alright. I called in my order at 720pm, 10 minutes before closing, qnd picked up at 735pm. They were nice to take my order last second so I appreciate that alot. I ordered their kefta kebab wrap and I say for $6.50 plus tax, its good. Maybe not the best wrap I ever had, but it was solid. It comes with the red and white sauce you would expect and gives extra flavor to the wrap. Service was prompt and friendly. Maybe I will try their lunch specials if I'm in the area again. They appear to be similar to Pita Inns, at $6.99. Small parking lot, but it works. They follow all the covid precautions. Give it a try!

The sushi and udon were almost adequate. The “Big Calif. Roll” tasted of rice, mainly. White wine of unspecified origin costs 10 for a 4.5 ounce serving in a tiny old school wine glass. Wholesale, they cost $ 2.00 or so... I actually spilled the wine and broke the glass. They added $ 9.00 to the bill because of the broken glass. Karma’s a B, Nobori San. We won’t be visiting you again...

We don't get to come here for lunch often, but when we do it is always really good. They have some really good deals for lunch and the full menu is also available. The service is always good and Nobori is there serving you many days and nights. It is easy to tell he really cares about his business and wants to succeed. In the burbs it's a great place to go for lunch or dinner highly recommend!
Wow. I am so impressed. This has to be the best sushi restaurant in the Chicagoland area. If it's not number 1 it's hands down a contender for it.

We got 4 rolls and we're nothing short of blown away. I know the spider roll isn't something that's loved by all but I always love trying them at every sushi restaurant I go to. Putting my guilty pleasure aside (which was also perfect) the rolls were seriously perfect. The fish tasted so clean and the rice was the perfect temperature. They have plenty of fresh fish (non-spicy) options as well as spicy ones.

The major factor that separate this restaurant from your typical spot:
-very clean fish taste
-spices and auxiliary flavors were not overbearing
-the rice, the rice, the rice!
-the simplicity and beautiful of the rolls
-the atmosphere and service

Me and my fiance sat down and when I first opened the menu I will admit I was a bit overwhelmed. There are a lot of entrees/appetizers. With that said, when you get to the sushi section it's clear, concise, and has things for every sushi lover. Also also also, don't skip the back page!! That's where I picked up the yellowtail and spring onion roll!! This was probably my favorite of the 4!!

If you're ever in the area I seriously cannot stress enough how much I loved this place. It brought me back to Boston and Japan which were the 2 best sushi experiences I've had. That's saying something.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the north shore! The owner goes to Japan regularly for fresh ingredients and products, so it is always fresh and delicious! I always get the tuna here - it's truly some of the best around

Side note : they do charge for the green tea now - $5
Overall, very good food and experience for a counter-service Mediterranean restaurant.

Pros:
Great Falafel and Babaganoush
Kid-approved chicken tenders and fries
Spotless Restaurant and Restrooms

Cons:
Pita (quite dry and flat)
