The dinner menu at the Royal Oak Hotel is excellent. A great variety of fresh, well-prepared dishes, perfect for a midday meal. Generous portions, quick service, and fantastic flavors. Highly recommend...!!!

This pub is my new favorite spot for drinks! Love the selection of beers, wines, and cocktails, all without breaking the bank. This place has got something for everyone. Plus, the happy hour deals are unbeatable.

Amazing food, with even better service. The staff went above and beyond to cater for our family of 5. The meals were large and incredibly good value for money. When we visit Melbourne again, we will definitely come back!

How rare is it that you love every single dish? So rare, it’s worth writing up about. We had the tasting menu for $110. The bread - yum. A fresh baguette. Kingfish - fresh and tasty, the beef tartare - save some of your bread earlier for this, snails - amazing, prawn dish a treat. Our daughter can’t eat prawns so they happily swapped it for a vegetarian dish. The main was duck with orange - sooooo good - I’m not exaggerating! Husband paid a little extra to swap out his dessert for the apple soufflé with raisin ice cream. It was spectacular. I had the mango dessert. It was well balanced and delicious. We had room to enjoy our meal in peace and did not feel rushed. My only negative thing I can think of is that the young casual wait staff need more experience or training. Not explaining the dish that was delivered to the table. The permanent waitress however was professional, warm and thoughtful.

Excellent food, delicious flavours. Crème brûlée in particular was fantastic. Duck confit, Parisian gnocchi, and white asparagus was also great.

On a week night Noir boasts the tranquil ambience of a french fusion dinner experience. A group of 4 of us decided for a dinner outing at Noir. To our suprise we were met with a dimmed dining room, and well taken care of by both the server and manager. The food was scrumptuous and provided an explosion of flavours, the deserts were a great addition to the 3 course meals. The wines list was extensive and with the resturant’s manager, the accompanying wines made dinner more enjoyable for everyone. I highly reccomend that you give Noir a chance for an adventerous dinner experience.

Delicious French cuisine that was enjoyed by everyone. We ordered the set menu ($59) but had vegetarian requirements and they were happy to change the menu to cater. We also wanted to try the snails which we ordered separately. Small compact restaurant but very comfortable and not too fancy that we had to eat quietly. We were served by a lovely waitress (name was Meaghan I think) who was so accommodating and gave us a lovely friendly happy vibe. Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and great service what more could you ask for.

Delicious set lunch under $50- two courses with a glass of wine. We both had the kingfish tartare as a starter and it was light and fresh and delicious.

My bouillabaisse as a main was wonderful and felt like a warm hug on a cold autumn (feels like winter!) day. Again, the seafood was super fresh.

I tried my friend’s polenta w chestnut pesto and that was wonderful as well.

We vowed to bring our friends to try their dinner menu one night!

Highly recommended !!

Very delicious food with well presentation. The beef tartar, and seafood (scallops and swordfish) are all fresh. Every dishes are cooked perfectly, and not greasy at all.

The staff are attentive, they are so generous to share their secret olive oil recipes to us (they also have the best bread dipping olive oil!)

A delightful experience. If you are looking for Fresh cuisine, this is definitely the place you must visit :)

We were in Richmond for two nights after covid restrictions eased. We came across this pub. Best find ever! Huge meals & the food was divine! We came here every day either for lunch or dinner. Russell the chef is a lovely, friendly character. He made us feel most welcome & boy can he cook! You won't be disappointed! We'll be back.
