It takes something pretty spectacular to get 5 stars out of me. We decided to get off our campsite for breakfast and check out the locks, and what a gem we found in the Trading Post Cabin Cafe.
Loaded bagel and coffees for all of us. Some may say pricey, but I say you get what you pay for. The coffees/lattes were great, and the bagels with egg sausage onion… Out of this world!
Staff were all friendly with bright smiles, and the atmosphere of the whole place is very inviting.

Great environment!! Bagel was good, would try something different though next time. Coffee and carrot cake was amazing!

Ate here on 2 occasions during our week in Port Severn. Exceptionally good coffee and delicious pastries. The date square was delicious and we can highly recommend the chocolate chip banana bread, the morning glory muffin and the carrot cake - all were moist and memorable!

Visit Wednesday June 26, 2024, party of five for beverages and light snacks. Offering hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea and beer, pastries, sandwiches. Also a number of gift items and other sundries. Wonderful coffee and baked goods. Great atmosphere with dining inside and out. Lovely staff. Favourite cafe in the region.

Such a beautiful and rustic Cafe right by the water. A large assortment of coffees, teas, desserts, candles, sauces, smoothies and more. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Stopped here after lunch at the grill, glad we did. Grabbed some butter tarts, they were the best I'd ever had. Also a very delicious London fog. Thank you to the staff for making our stop in Port Severn memorable.

5 stars for their service, ambience and variety of coffees served by them.
They do even have out patio seating, best for summer time. For inside seating, they just have couple of tables of 2 people each.
Also, they have nice collection of local beers.

Beautiful cafe near the water. This is such a highlight of this town. They have amazing bakery and drink options. London fog, rose matcha latte, croissant, and butter tarts are all delicious. Only two table indoors but there are more seatings outside. Definitely worth a visit.

For a small town it's decent however it is overhyped. The chicken was too overcooked giving it a rubbery texture. The bread was by far the best part of the sandwich crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken and toppings on it were very bland and had very little taste. I also ordered a peach N cream Danish which wasn't good at all. There's so much bland tasting bread around the Danish. You have to take a few bites before reaching the center where all the good stuff is but once you're there it's very depressing. Nothing stands out, the Danish doesn't even taste like peaches. All you taste is light sweetened bread. The atmosphere was nice, they have a lot of gifts and sauces to take home as well as an outside patio. It's an experience worth trying however don't get your hopes up based on the reviews. I believe that because it's a small town the locals really try to hype it up.
