Je n'étais pas allée depuis un moment et j'ai appris qu'il y a eu changement de propriétaire. Très bonne expérience les plats sont très bons, service rapide et tarifs corrects. Mon exemple : une coupe un plat un dessert une eau pour 33e . En revanche il faut réserver c'est complet même un midi en semaine.
Très belle expérience, table non réservée mais la personne nous a trouvé un créneau et une bonne table. Assiette très bien servis avec consistance et un régal au palet . Pour moi à refaire sans hésitation.
Repas chers pour un repas pas bien difficile, c’était pas vraiment bon :( pas foufou mais la déco est sympas !

C'est un restaurant qu'il faut découvrir joli décor.

Un dimanche neigeux, mais un dimanche heureux après notre repas au Château de la Motte à Cambrai. Un service sans faille, la formule du dimanche est vraiment top dans sa formule tout compris : Entrée, Plat, Fromage, Dessert, Boissons comprises Pas de surprise lors de l'addition ! Nous aimons y retourner .....
Very tired property, specially the Orangery bedrooms. We stopped here as a crash pad for one night. Our room had broken furniture, cobwebs and cracked glass in the wardrobe door. The aroma was one of not being cleaned nor maintained. I would have carried on driving if not had already spent the day on the road. However, the restaurant in the main building was lovely food and service. Overall, I would advise avoiding.
I went there for a work trip, before arriving i couldn't find a taxi to get me to the hotel so i called the receptionist and she said " oh madame désolée je peux rien faire pour toi c'est comliqué de trouver un taxi à Cambrai" that wasn't nice at all. the room was not clean (dust+bad smell) + a clogged bathroom ( i had to move to another room just to have a shower because mine wasn't working) so for me the chateau was a terrible choice/experience.

Expérience très agréable dans ce restaurant, que je recommande. Le lieu (dans les caves) créé une ambiance feutrée. Le service est de qualité : les serveuses sont à l'écoute et de très bon conseil. Les mets proposés sont tous appétissants. Très bon rapport qualité/prix car les produits sont frais et cuisinés avec goût.
Restaurant agréable et nourriture assez bonne ; dommage qu’il y est un manque de goût visuel ( escalier d’entrée sale et aucune fleurs naturelles présentes fleurs en plastique sur la table , nappe classique , luminaire vieillot .. etc)
De plus restaurant avec pas mal de grande toile d’araignées, parquet sale à notre arrivée , et trou dans la porte …
Bref des travaux seraient à prévoir et il sera bien d’installer un déshumidificateur car l’odeur humide de cette cave prend au nez en arrivant.

Restaurant très agréable où les plats sont copieux et visuellement délicieux. L'ambiance y est calme ce qui permet de dîner en famille en toute tranquillité. Le service y est également très bien, les serveurs sont à l'écoute du client, agréables et courtois.
Je recommande fortement ce restaurant pour tous types de rencontres: professionnelles, en famille, pour des grandes occasions ou pour un dîner amoureux.

A beautiful chateau with magnificent state rooms, in parkland, located in the heart of a housing estate/block, on the outskirts of Cambrai and next to a canal.
The welcome and attentiveness from the staff was just right and the restaurant in the cellar was characterful and served us a delicious meal.
Our room and ensuite was large, comfortable and clean, although the decor was minimal and not in the style of the amazing reception rooms on the ground floor.
A nice venue for a quiet stop and a delicious meal which was good value for money.

Franchement à recommander pour des occassions tres spéciale anniversaire de gd mamie ou papy...... La cuisine est bonne,le service de même et l ambiance est exceptionnelle avec ces salles voutees.

We went on a road trip stopping at various locations this year (2022). Seventh stop Chateau de la Motte Fenelon. This is a hotel in an amazing chateau with plenty of parking. It is a fair way from the centre of Cambrai, but makes up for it by being such a delightful and traditional building run in a truly French way. The room we had was huge with a massive bed, table and chairs and ensuite Bathroom. Downstairs were rooms which look as if they have remained the same since the Napoleonic days, there was even a sedan chair in the corner. Unfortunately we stayed on Sunday and the restaurant was not open in the evening, so we missed out on the dining experience which the hotel has a reputation for. Next morning we had breakfast which was superb, even the orange juice was freshly squeezed not from a bottle. All in all a wonderful hotel with lovely staff.

Restaurant très cosy en sous sol dans les douves du Château. Ambiance calme et des prix assez élevés pour un service impeccable. Le menu du dimanche est pratique car tout est compris de l'entrée au dessert avec fromage ainsi que l'apero et les vins , si on compare à la carte le prix d'un peu moins de 50 € est intéressant même si le choix est restreint. Les plats sont frais et très bons.
On our way back from Bievres to home we stay overnight in this Chateau.

Atmosphere is so nice, well decorated. We book a prestige room (no.8) which is spacious and nicely decorated and clean.

Because the mansion is old, there are not enough plugs to charge electric devices, but we managed.

Un repas très agréable, dans un cadre charmant (vouté). Le personnel est au petit soin, et le volume de la pièce donne un coté intime a votre repas. Une halte à faire.
Le 109 se situe dans une cave voûtée du château de la motte fenelon. La salle de restaurant a énormément de cachet avec ses briques apparantes qui donne un aspect chaleureux. La decoration est épurée, chic et fais plaisir à regarder.
Pour ce qui est de l'expérience culinaire, ou du service, il n'y a rien à dire non plus. Les amuses bouches offerts sont délicieux, les plats succulents et les desserts un délice ! Les serveurs sont agréables et font tout pour vous faire plaisir, l'accueil met tout de suite à l'aise.
Nous reviendrons sans hésiter tester une prochaine carte!

They care about their food sourcing and preparation. The pairing is excellent. They strive for tasty food, elegant plating and great service. We made a wonderful choice to eat there!
Absolutely excellent, needs more than five stars. Staff superb, food is beautifully prepared.
Really good food for very reasonable prices. Buffet excellent value and quality for 10 euro.
