Great place for tea time or coffe time. The food was good also the dessert. I was here when have invite from Plaza Indonesia if have special event.
Came for business lunch. Beautiful place with good services and yummy food. Salted egg fish and the squid were my favorites.

Delicious foods and great atmosphere. Knowledgeable servers. They can modified their foods to suit our vegetarian lifestyle. Really like it here. And already went here a couple of times. Will definitely be back. 😊
This is very difficult review to write as i love the restaurant. 3 times here so far, but last one was so disappointing. Place is fantastic, food is very good. Price is not cheap but hey we know this already. What’s so so sad was the service:
1. We’re 8 people, some were fasting. One of us mistakenly bring a bottle of water from the car, the lady escorted us talked down to him and told him no food or drink from outside, like he was a peasant. While saying she basically snatched the bottle from him, i almost gasped and like to told her how impolite she was, but i am old but she’s much older. The rest of us were offended but we let it go.
2. We were waiting for breakfasting time and the food, so we went upstairs to the rooftop. One of the reason we went to this resto was the rooftop and we had first timer in jakarta visitors. They really like it upstairs so we asked the waitress to have our drinks upstairs, and one of waitress mouthing that ‘we were just adding homework- in indonesian: nambah PR” to one of us. The drinks did come but it just ruined the atmosphere.
3. As breakfasting time come, we were going down through stairs- 2 levels. And we brought our own drinks down, however as we ordered quite a lot, i carried 1 perriere bottle, 2 glasses and one sugar cup. I managed to went one level, and to the next level, i asked one of the waitress if they had nearby lift, he said it’s closer by stairs and did nothing to help me with the drinks, only when i started climbed down, one waitress running to me and said ‘let me help you with the drink’.
The whole time there i didn’t see the staffs smiling. Usually in the nice place, staffs are super nice.
Btw, i have been to all Plataran Resto in Jakarta and also in Labuan Bajo, this is the only place with disappointing service.

Exquisite fine dining in a colonial Dutch Indonesian mansion. Amazing ambience with impressive local dishes bursting with delicate flavours. We had fried bebek(duck), prawns on butter turmeric sauce, rice fried with lemon grass and anchovies. Can’t say enough of the outstanding service we received the whole evening. Highly recommended.

Wide selection of Indonesian food. I chose nasi rawon and really enjoyed it. Tasted just like Surabaya rawon with a strong taste of kluwek and other spices.

Delicious food..the staffs are helpful. We had dinner in a private room with karaoke.
The place is cozy, near the pool. They also have the outdoor area. It's not too big but good enough. The food and desserts itself...the variety is enough for the price (can't compare with Table 8 or Satoo). The taste...so so, nothing special. The price is ok, it's around Rp 350,000++ for dinner on weekend. Check their credit card promo (e.g. BCA buy 3 get 4).
Plataran Menteng not only offer delicious menu but as well fine dining experience in old historic beautiful colonial house. It has outdoor seating too with pretty small garden at the side of the house facing the street with many big trees. The house has 3 floors with both lift and stairs available, the first floor is the unforgettable one with beautiful tree and rows of orchids, lovely chandelier in their glory. The food are delicious local cuisines and surprisingly not being adjuster too much, there’s also many influence of Chinese Indonesia recipes making it much more delicious 🩷 the long row dining table suits well for small party, family gatherings or office team dinner. They also have small table for 2-4 persons but not much so better reserved in advance for best experience. Well done team Plataran! I am curious to try their other place with different theme… heard Plataran GBK with city forest theme also amazing!

Wonderful place serving authentic, luxurious fine-dining Indonesian food. Everything was incredibly delicious and well made. We ordered a few stuff but the highlights would be the dendeng batokok (so crispy!), rujak juhi (taste was authentic), fish soup and smoked fish with mango sauce.
The interior was beautifully decorated, definitely gives off a luxurious Indonesian house vibe. The courtyard near the entrance was also lovely. There are a few private rooms too, each with a slightly different decor from the other rooms. Great place for big family gathering/business meals/special occasion as they have extensive menu. Service was attentive and quick, definitely adds to the experience here.

For a working space this is more than enough. Locating in public area, easy to catch. Good coffee and meal. Nice interior. Normally I found cafe above or close camera store only 'just there' but space D kinda lovely. Open about 8AM but afternoon the sun shine so bright through enormous windows and quite hot. So choose your seat wisely.

What a royal and super luxurious dining palace! F&B service staff was super friendly, assisting us to out reserved table. BTW: you cannot just come as walk-in because they mostly require reservations.
Dining area was spacious, high ceiling, table was neatly set up with cutleries and napkin. Their table cloth was super neatly ironed!
Menu was quite pricey but worth it! Taste was just right!
Their location was just at the corner of the street so you might miss the entrance if not focused.

Coming back here after years of absence. Once a very popular spot for people enjoying a great evening or lunch together. Sadly a lot have change in what was once the benchmark of food and beverage service in Jakarta. The food are still great however the ambience that once a serene and warm are sadly no longer there. None of the service staffs are aware that the speaker played an out of tune music and thus create so what a fast food dining room feel. We still enjoy the food and its massive selection to choose from. We do hope Shangri-La management can look into refreshing Satoo and be more mindful on the very details.

Visited Central Restaurant at their Petojo outlet for birthday dinner. In this visit, I ordered the mandatory Bakmi Goreng Ulang Tahun (Birthday Fried Noodle, with the signature orange / red colored quail eggs garnish on top), Paikut BBQ (BBQ Pork Ribs), Udang Goreng Mayones (deep fried floured shrimp in mayonnaise sauce), Lindung Cah Fumak (Sautéed Fried Eel with Fumak) and Brokoli Scallop Szechuan (Broccoli and Scallops in Szechuan sauce). Overall, i'm pretty satisfied with all the order from Central Restaurant Petojo. However, their Brokoli Scallop Szechuan kinda have a fishy smell for my sensitive palate (maybe its just isn't to my liking). For this visit to Central Restaurant Petojo, i'm gonna rate them 3.5 out of 5.

Rich chocolate and cappuccino, nice beverages. Crispy fried cassava (tasted really good and decided to order more to take home), the lemon tartlet was refreshing, loved the lemon sorbet on the side. The service and atmosphere are very good.

Loving all the meat variations as well as side dish and buffet, especially the mini brownies, kimchi, n sweet corn🧡 there was a little problem with our grill but mba Siti helped us fix it so we can continue grilling. Thankyou mba Siti, murah rezeki dan sehat selalu 😊
First time here and it was great that they have distinctive choices of buffet menu. Love how their meat is so tender and juicy. Unfortunately, our table had problem with the grill, but it was solved by one of the waiter, Mas Syafri. Can't wait for my next visit soon

The place is quite large in which the parking lot can hold numerous cars and lots of table as well. It even larger than its branch in Cibubur.
But still, during lunch time, finding parking lot and a table is challenging.
The taste is simillar to the Cibubur branch. Sometime you're lucky to get a nice tender and juicy sate and if you're unlucky, you'll get those overcooked chewy sate. But still edible. Just need extra effort to eat them.
The beef soup is perfect all the time. Just make sure you get it served along with the rice in time.
The service is quite fast, considering there are lots of visitor dining.
Payment can be made with hard cash, qris and debit cards. Not sure about credit cards though. But I think they accept it as well.

Visited Sate Maranggi Haji Yetty outlet in Cempaka Putih after hearing a lot of good news about them. In this visit for lunch, I ordered 5 pieces of Sate Maranggi Ayam (Chicken) and Sate Maranggi Sapi (Beef). My friend also tried their Sate Maranggi Kambing (mutton). In my opinion both their Sate Maranggi Ayam and Sate Maranggi Sapi is pretty nice, but I totally recommended the beef compared to the chicken. I also order their gorengan (they offer fried tempe, beancurd, mixed veggies fritters by going around the eating area, so you guys can just call the staff whom will bring it to the table). For beverages, I ordered their Es Kelapa Muda Gula Aren (young coconut with brown sugar). They're using open space concept so it could be pretty hot on sunny afternoon. For this visit to Sate Maranggi Haji Yetty Cempaka Putih, i'm gonna rate them 3.5 out of 5.

Buffet was lovely, if you're into Indonesian or around Asia's cuisines, you would love it. Staff is helpful.
Delicious local food with hearty portions. Beef and vegetables are fresh and the corn patty is yummy. Overall very enjoyable. The staff do not speak much English but are helpful. Only downside is that the menu does not have an English version.
The goat satay is soft and delicious, different from the usual goat satay, which has a unique characteristic

great chinese restaurant with long heritage. dishes were simple but very remarkable. nasi manis was the highlight, unique sticky rice dessert dish only served in eka ria. also serve pork dishes.
This restaurant has a vintage vibe with its decorations and interior. Their speciality is Indonesian food and they have lots of coffee on the menu list. But do not expect too high. My Tongseng was so so, and they also need to improve their service.

My wife booked us a lunch for two with a promotion from Chope. Our reservation was for an all you can eat buffet that was advertised as being open from 1:30-3pm. As soon as we got there, we felt like we were being rushed out the door as our time had been shortened (without advance notice) just until 2:30pm, and waitstaff made sure to remind us when our time was running out. There were only a few other customers in the whole establishment and I’ve never felt like I was on such an aggressive time limit at any other hotel restaurant or buffet.
I understand we came for lunch on a Tuesday, but the selection of food was very limited, and most of what *was* there was old and stale, bland, or of lesser quality to what you could get outside. My wife and I live here in Jakarta, we’re not tourists getting scammed on 150rb plates of nasi goreng. We came to Open expecting a dining experience that matched the price we spent (IDR 600,000 for two people) and I almost wish we would have gone to a warung instead.
The nasi putih was old and hard. The sushi was 90% rice. The fruit and salad bar had flies everywhere. The fish was bland. Only water was available and we weren’t offered any coffee or tea as we have been at other hotel restaurants. We did not try the chicken or couple of soups that were available, but really that’s all that they put out. Not much of a selection of anything at all.
The pizza bar was great when it was fresh, however when we first got there, we tried a slice of margarita pizza that had clearly been sitting for a while. My wife and I also enjoyed the noodles (they were prepared fresh), but the broth was quite salty.

Authenthic and you can really feel the craftmanship of the food. Had the opportunity to talk with the owner, Chef Koko, this restaurant is really legit.
I would say the taste is not that common if you compare with other mainstream chinese food resto in Jakarta, it's quite not too salty, and since the food is more into Cantonese style, the overall taste is unique.

Having pre order the food and pay down payment, I expect the order is ready once we request it. Yet it tooks 30 - 40 minutes for first dishes to appear (not even rice) with a very serious complain to all the waiter. Without it maybe it will tae another 30 minutes.

Overall it ruin 50% of lunch experience where everyone become so tense and does not enjoy the food

Order 6 foods and all are delicious! The portion as request, small (1-2 person), medium (3-5 persons), big (6-8 persons). The places are very big, there are small rooms for private dine in, also for sangjit, and ballroom for wedding reception. However the parking lot is not many. So it could be parking outside the restaurant.
Satoo is one of the best buffet restaurants in Jakarta. Satoo has various menus that you can try, from Indonesian, Indian, Japanese, Western and Chinese food.
Their favorite menus are Indian cuisine and meatballs. But personally I love their peking duck.

Took so loooong to get the food. More than 30 minutes I believe. Even for a simple Pisang Goreng. Pisang goreng was not ok, the fruit wasn't ripe enough. The noodles were good though. Ice tea tasted bad

Great Chinese food, certainly worth the visit. The place is not really great decorated for a restaurant, since this is also used as a venue for weddings ea they need to be able to change quickly.

What a nostalgic place to go to. Not surprisingly, the delicious food haven't changed since I last visited 6 years ago. The food quality is and always has been great and consistent over the years.
The place is also spacious for events serving excellent food. And the value the restaurant gives is something that would make me come back for more!

The go-to spot for meetings in Plaza Indonesia (or even central Jakarta). Location is super convenient and very accessible with mrt station right in front.
Visited last week for a lunch meeting and decided to have the club sandwich. Portion was huge and I couldn't finish despite sharing fries with my table. Quality was as perfect as club sandwich could be, not surprising as La Moda is run by Grand Hyatt Jakarta 🥪 look forward to coming back and finishing it next time.

I like going to this place only because it’s strategically located, in the middle of Plaza Indonesia and not too noisy, a great meeting spot. The foods and beverages were sometimes inconsistent; sometimes they were good, sometimes they weren’t that good. As for the servers, they were always sufficiently polite, although I can’t say they’re the friendliest at times. Price is a bit high but regarding that it’s operated by Hyatt and where it is located I think it’s fair enough. The overall vibes are serious but enjoyable, not so much noise, which is good for me so I don’t mind to keep going back here.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Jakarta, selling old style chinese food like chicken nanking, lindung cah fumak, kaylan 2 rasa, old style tofu, etc.
Their chicken nanking is the best so far, crunchy and the shrimp is really generous, you can almost tell it's a shrimp more than a chicken.

Came here at around 12pm on Saturday. Not that packed. Parking can be hard to find. It's based on your luck. Friendly staff, decent food. Ordered oxtail soup and sei sapi. The meat on sei sapi was a bit chewy, but love the perkedel jagung. The oxtail soup was good. The restaurant has an oldies feel. A bit overpriced but it's a nice experience. Overall: food 4/5, service 4/5, ambience 4/5
After the long many months of the outbreak crowd avoidance, this was the first buffet dinner in which we were looking forward to but it was a little disappointing. I’m a fan of Shangri-La, but this time is a real disappointment. Here’s why a 3-star review. The guests capacity was alright, around 50% however the staff are seems to be overwhelmed. Requested for a glass of warm drinking water but it didn’t came. The satay was cold. The sushi was a little dry, taste is flat unlike the real sushi prepared by Japanese chef that is moist and a hint of vinegar taste to it. The Shashimi was a total failure - the bit and pieces of raw fishes cuts are in various size and some are really smaller loose pieces which looks like remnants from the cut. The braised lamb at the Chinese cuisine counter was overcooked, it’s hard and chewy. The only dishes that we enjoyed was the food from the Indian cuisine counter, it’s flavourful. Most of the desserts were just in flat sweet taste, except the chocolate ice cream which was alright. Wished that the buffet dinner come with hot drink (coffee and tea) which most buffets does.
Great experience during breakfast and dinner. Bread on breakfast tasted well, spaghetti bolognese and nasi goreng also tasted delicious for ala carte dinner. Special thanks for Mr. Wahyu for giving our son complementary ice cream.

The place has good ambience. The space is not as big as i thought it would be. Not sure if this is because they are adjusting to the COVID19 policy or it's just they way it is.
I'd say they give a pretty fair deal. The normal price is surprisingly cheap for an AYCE Lunch at a 4 star hotel. Some of the foods taste great, some of them are misses.
Out of all of the menu i tasted, i'd say their hainan chicken rice takes the cake. Their sushi and pasta... let's say the sushi tastes plain, and the pasta is undercooked.
One suggestion to the management, "perhaps give more lighting to the food stand to make it more appealing". I especially have some issue with the sushi stand. It's still too dark even though they have lighting on top of it.
I would suggest you to make reservation before coming and perhaps ask them if promo is available. Their admin on whatsapp is quite informative.
In terms of staff, i'd say this place has a more of a fun friend kind of energy. Not too formal, so i'm a bit taken a back since it's my first.
All in all, i'd give 3.7 of 5.

Had a Christmas eve dinner there. The ambiance was warm. Great selection of food. Loved the dessert. Friendly staffs. Definitely will come back.

It has one of the best pizza in Indonesia. The truffle pizza is very delicious. The price is around 180k, but it is on par with the taste that you are getting. The portion is very good, but most importantly the taste is excellent. Other foods are also great taste, though some is too expensive.

The ambience is perfect, as the place is located on the center of the lobby, thus the place is very airy, and the place is very comfortable. The restaurant also have live music, which add to the cozy ambience. The seating of the place is also great, it is comfortable and it is also quite plenty.
