Celebrating my sisters graduation, 7 of us had a delightful dining experience! Excellent food, location and service! I had the squid ink linguini, whilst the perfectly cooked steaks and sides of baked potatoes, fries and a salad with toasted walnuts were outstanding. Pricey? Yes! But well worth it!

We were visiting our adult daughter in Sydney and went to Manta for dinner to celebrate my husband birthday. It was divine. The food, the ambiance, the staff - everything. It’s under new ownership and management and they’re going above and beyond !!!! We definitely recommend it !

At the far end of Woolloomooloo Pier, arguably the most pleasant ambience of all the busy restaurants there.
Food quality is good and reasonable (unlike some others there) pleasant staff but slow service, good variety, excellent ambience and views of the Marina.

We had a perfect dinner in every respect. Lovely location, buzzy vibe, comfortable seating, attentive service and sensational food. Everything was super fresh, expertly prepared and enjoyable to eat. You rarely get all these characteristics together but Manta nails it.

I highly recommend Manta for any occasion.

Exceptional view, high-end food, and friendly staff. In particular, the manager had an old-school, personable manner, engaging in chat from the get-go and throughout the evening. Reminded me of what the restaurant scene in Sydney used to be like in the good ol’ days. Nothing was too difficult for this gentleman, even though we were a table of many different dietary requirements. The food was high quality and cooked with skill and simplicity. We brought our own cake - a fancy multi-tiered designer piece - and the restaurant did an exceptional job storing it safely, presenting it with candles and sparklers, and bringing it out at the perfect time. There are lots of restaurants at Wooloomooloo but I think this one is a standout.

Food is exceptional, with a great atmosphere, good service. But their Sunday surcharges are through the roof. Defiantly will not come back on a Sunday to entertain guests.

My partner makes the reservation with a glass of champagne upon arrival and we hope that the staff will bring it to the table without asking since it was specified in the booking that it was intended to be a surprise upon arrival.
We got a very complete set menu, fresh seafood, king fish, super recommended, the main was good except the steak which was well done and no one asked us how we wanted it to be cooked , we paid $22 extra to have oysters and truffle fries which is not bad but dessert was not the best to finish a seafood dinner, something more delicate should be better.
The bottle of wine was delicious, perfect food paring.

Had dinner with my husband here for date night. The bistecca steak was way below average, was served only somewhat warm, it got cold very quickly, parts of it were quite dry and hard to chew. On the positive side, it came with four sauces, which were nice and interesting.

Staff were nice and friendly. Bone marrow and duck fat potatoes were nice.

With a $250 bill, for the quality of the steak at this price tag, having tried steaks elsewhere in Sydney, you would be better spending at elsewhere.

My partner and I had dinner here for an anniversary.
We were served by Sebastian who was great!
We were surprised to receive 2 complimentary glasses of sparkling wine for our special day.
Entrees were pork belly & beef croquettes.
The pork belly was yummy but the croquettes were too beefy without any other flavours.
Mains we had a steak each - melt in your mouth perfection.
The steaks had a crisp charred outer which was so tasty.
Side of fries were crunchy and delicious.
We are keen to go back again to try the other menu items

We had the dinner at the restaurant celebrating my birthday. The restaurant service is excellent. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The food are nice and the view is extraordinary. Great way to celebrate with loved ones and friends in special occasions

A bottomless rosè lunch on a sunny Friday afternoon by the harbour @kingsleys ? Why would I say no to that! To be honest, it all sounded so pleasant that I really didn’t put any research into food reviews but wow! The menu provided loads of options, serves were substantial & flavours were fresh & crisp. I don’t tend to choose calamari these days as there’s a high chance it will be soggy & bland but this was one of the best I can remember. Even Mr Picky was impressed with his steak 😮 Service was smooth & the rosè flowed freely. Shame this was the last weekend for this promotion but I’ll be happy to try whatever they’re running next.
