I love the chicken shawarma! The chicken is really well seasoned and the garlic sauce is great.
Went with family on Saturday for Dinner. Ordered Chicken Pad thai, Basil Noodle, crab Rangoon, chicken Satay. They messed up my pad thai order but because it was busy night didn't offer to make it again instead gave it to me at 50% off, I was disappointed as I couldn't enjoy my Dinner but rest of the food was flavorful and fresh. Very limited parking at the restaurant, try close by parking lots.
Delish! Wish I’d gone here sooner. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and it was very big, lots of sauce and tasted really fresh.

Usually this place is good but this time I was left feeling disappointed. Pad Thai no longer tastes like tamarind but ketchup now (too sweet) and and the pad see ew was kind of bland. Very expensive also compared to other Thai places.
It’s my birthday and this was my first choice of restaurants to eat at. The food at Taste of Thailand was delicious! We loved the crab Rangoon especially. We ordered their platter, pad Thai, and mango dessert & received shrimp chip on the house! A meal costs between $20-30 but feeds at least 4 meals! I would highly recommend ordering from here!
Had a quiet brunch here. The service was great and the food was excellent. I had a Bellini and avocado toast. Everything was tasty! I would definitely be back. Easy parking too!

Iraqi Fish Mezgouf, their signature speciality fish supremely delicious with seasoning and traditional cooking technique. Highly recommended!
I loved the Dolma, it’s was supremely flavourful, & their signature marinated lamb MeGhouf on a bed of rice was also amazing.
The appetizers, (hummus, tabouleh, Iraqi salad, coleslaw) were super fresh and delicious.

Drove by this place many times! Very impressed with the food. Had it buffet style but you can order a la carte.

Checked this place out with some friends tonight , food was amazing, staff was very helpful & I really enjoyed my experience. I definitely recommend this place if you love Iraqi food!
So me and my family ordered food from here my dad ordered seafood i’m not sure what’s it called but the seafood was rotten and not fresh they also gave us un cooked noodles with the food, we had to wait a long time for the food too i also ordered a grilled chicken plate with rice and the chicken was mid but the rice had pig fat on it i never heard of that in my life, then we asked for shrimp spring rolls and they gave us really small rolls and the shrimp tasted weird, then we ordered ware beef noodle soup (pho ) they gave us barely meat in it but the broth was okay, over all i would never come here and i don’t recommend you to come here!

I ordered food yesterday from this location and I used to go there few years ago and used to be delicious but yesterday I was surprised and very very very disappointed my friends and I didn’t like the food at all, no flavour it tasted 0 I don’t know if the change the owner or the chef but was not pleasant at all.

The shawarma here is very tasty! I recommend everyone try it...not to mention the owner is very welcoming and dedicated. So glad to have found this gem in Etobicoke.
The is a very good Middle Eastern restaurant that is well decorated and has a decent atmosphere. The food is delicious, but inconsistent - some things were fantastic (the bread, hummus, foul, saj shawerma) while others were less of a hit (the Zaatar manakeesh as an example). The servers were attentive and helpful. There's a small indoor play structure for the kids, it's a nice touch for families.
We came for breakfast right at 11 am when they opened. We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere we liked. The employees were courteous and helpful. We were 2 families 5 people each; 6 kids and 4 adults. We placed our order within 15 mins, the food started to come out. It was presented nicely and was good. While the level of lemon in some dishes was high in my opinion some on the table enjoyed it. Overall we had a good time.
this place is the best! I needed a good meal, and it's so hard trying something new by reading reviews and menues... well search no further.... this place has you. Great service, no pretention. authentic, clean and delicious. next time I'm in town, I will be eating here agian... sure.

Hands down the best saj wrap, shawarma in the city. Huge saj wrap portion that can easily feed two people. The garlic sauce is heaven. Presentation is on point. Great value for the price. The nicest owner. I just wish the tables were a little less sticky.
Dined here with 4 others and the food was amazing. I got the chicken satay skewers and really loved the peanut sauce it came with. Shared the taste of Thailand plate that came with fried wonton, crab rangoon, fresh rolls and chicken satay. The peanut sauce and sweet chilli sauce really kick it up a notch! Also tasted the Thai ice tea which was sublime!

Roman is great! He is attentive, communicative, and fun to be around. You can see how much care he puts in to the drinks he makes, connections he builds with others, and making sure he gets exactly what you want. Highly recommend Roman to anyone who comes to this location.

So my tomyum soup was super watered down and tasted unpleasantly…. Instead of writing a silent review… I decided to complain to the cashier. She was super helpful and polite, apologized profusely and offered to get me something else…. Had to go with my regular pick… pad Thai… was much better. But much more improvements need to happen in the taste department.

I went to the restaurant in the 2nd time. They served shrimp chip on the house. I ordered Papaya salad, Swan egg, Crab Rangoon and Jasmine green tea. The taste was so amazing. Fast and great services. I would love to return again. Definitely recommend coming here.
Great pho place in the neighborhood! The broth is delicious. I find it a lot smoother than many Toronto chain, ie. less salt and MSG! The restaurant is fairly quiet on a Friday night and the service is very fast. The only downside is the beef tendons are a little too fatty. Spring rolls are quite authentic as well. We will definitely come back.
My own dish, which I think was a curry pad thai, was tasty and plentiful. Two people in our party ordered the grilled chicken which was disappointing. Another person ordered a Thai curry which was well spiced and delicious. The spring rolls were also well prepared. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Overall, we had mixed feelings about the restaurant, particularly since it was not inexpensive. There are other options in the neighborhood that we prefer.
Coming all the way from Calgary to try this place out....came with the whole family so we were a big group....the service was 10/10....service was fast....servers were quick and super friendly...the manger was on top of things and kept checking in on us which Is amazing....they kept restocking water and bread quickly. Food was soooo delicious....it was so worth it....the fish was made fresh and so juicy...tastes exactly like the mesqouf they have in Iraq. The kebabs and Tikka were amazing....the Shrimps were very good ...the food overall is 100% . My favorite part was the fresh bread...no other restaurant does bread the same way....so very happy with everything....highly recommend this place.
Love coming here for their lunch special. It comes with soup of the day or salad, a spring roll, and a main dish. My family has been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The deep fried banana is a great dessert too.

I immediately gagged... I have no idea what meat this was but it was inedible and I couldn't stop gagging after first bite. There pho soup is good tho

I liked to eat pho here, but today's service was the worst. I asked for to go, but they seemed annoyed and just handed me a plastic bag and left without having anytime to ask for another bag. I had to carry like that all the way back home, and I also found a hair in the soup, which isn't even my hair colour. I was really disappointed today, I don't know if I'll go there anytime again.

The quality of this place has really went down. The prices went up though! But the quality went down. Every meal I get is inconsistent, and same dishes taste different every time. They also barely put any meat in their orders anymore. Last order I received I paid $19 for a bowl of noodles. No thanks.

Great service and excellent food. Super accommodating for people with allergies, I usually worry a lot at Thai places that serve peanuts as I am allergic.

I was in the city for 2 days. Read some reviews before going. I was a little skeptical after reading a few, but went with gut and decided to try it... it was fantastic!! Being one person didn't think I would get the service as a large group, but Fatima my server was an absolute sweetheart! The food was amazing! The service even better! Highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely experience Fatima!
Delicious middle eastern cuisine having a good number of vegetarian options makes it a wonderful place to change your mood via taste buds. Hummus is evergreen option here and falafel tastes very good. All other veggie options were also equally good in taste and flavours. It’s never late to visit this place if you haven’t tried here.

Best family restaurant I've been to in the GTA. The atmosphere is clean and family oriented, and the food was amazing! The service was impeccable even on one of the busiest days of the year. The price for large groups was also top tier, so I would definitely recommend for ordering takeout for functions or just family dinner in general. Also has a good selection of dietary options, I found that the menu included something suitable for everyone.
I had the worst experience with Paramount today. I have tried another locations but this time it was the worst. The customer service was very poor . They were literally throwing things and food on the table. The food was cold and when we asked them they refried the food that was immersed in oil and burnt them. The potatoes were cold from inside

Disappointing.The basil rice witb shrimp that my niece ordered was not as delicious as usual. The shrimp that i tasted was not cooked.
I personally love Thai food. I have to say this is one of the best I’ve had. Everything and I mean everything was super delicious and very fresh. Highly recommend the Pho (very flavourful and authentic), Pad Sew Ew Beef, Cashew Chicken and Pad Thai. Service was impeccable. Super friendly and fast!
My friend introduced me to Green Mango yesterday. We got there much later than we wanted to due to a last minute work emergency. Even though we came 10 minutes before the kitchen was closing, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hostess even gave us complimentary spring rolls that were delicious. My friend and I ordered the street styled pad Thai (hers beef, mine chicken) and I was blown away at the high quality food and great portions. It was the best Pad Thai I ever ate! I will definitely be coming back.

Took take away and the food was just ok. Better Thai restaurants in the area. My cashew chicken had no cashews, quality of the chicken was also not the greatest with me finding some cartilage in my dish as well. Nuff said.

I was in the GTA for a business trip and stopped here for dinner.
It is a nice restaurant, professional staff, great atmosphere, good foods and drinks and also a nice place for a group dining.
I ordered Grilled Salmon and i admit it was to perfection. You can see from one of my photos, i cleaned my dish.

Milestones new revamped menu is 10x better than what it used to be. I always found their food mediocre but after returning after several years I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was cooked to perfection, the shrimp was succulent and the ribs were fall off the bone. The excellent service here also goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. Apart from a revamped menu, the restaurant also got a makeover.. gone are the days of the dark and dusty environment and dreary decor and hello to the new, bright, fresh and modern look.
Worst thai food ever. General Thai mango with NO MANGO... and tooooo sweet. We also found chicken in the vegetarian fried rice. I got stomach ache after eating that disgusting food. Please, DON'T BUY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR STOMACH.
This is the only Pho place in the area. The food is fine, there are some beers in the fridge. Portions are of good size. Service was good too. There is some room for improvement, the dining room can be a bit cozier. Overall if you wanted Pho on a cold day - you will get what you want.

I don't know why restaurants in North America add so much salt to food. I guess it's the lazy person's seasoning.

It kills me to write this review but it also means that some small businesses need to do better and shouldn’t take support for granted. Picked up an order of deep fried spring rolls and pho tai. Paid $25 (tipped $2.50) only to come home to burnt spring rolls, the smallest portion of pho I have ever had (5-6 thinly beef), NO Thai basil, no chopsticks.

The location was decent. Went after 6pm for dinner and it wasn't packed. So you can still have a conversation with others. Our server was great. He was very attentive. The food was great too. We had a overall great experience. You will leave here being stuffed!
Thai Express is located in the middle of the Bloor Islington Plaza food court near the A&W. As part of the food court for the plaza, it's closed on the weekend. It's conveniently accessible via Islington Station underground and an indoor pathway through the plaza.

Fast and fresh. Quick polite service. The food court is quiet with lots of seating. There is a dedicated cleaner who keeps the food court neat and tidy.
This Pad Thai is super yummy, normally it’s hit and miss for me at Thai Express but this was delicious! I did delivery to my office and they gave me utensils, condiments etc but the price is just waaayyy too much. Almost $15 for Pad Thai is very overpriced but I’m sure that’s the chain set price not this exact location. I also added extra noodles and got medium spice, it’s definitely spicy haha so if you cannot tolerate spicy get none at all and I suggest to ask for it in a bowl instead of the small containers! Overall it’s super delicious but I probably won’t go here too often based on the price because this did not even include a drink or side.

Super friendly service. I always call in to order the Beef pad thai and beef thai noodle soup in advance. I grew up on Thai Express and always have the thai noodle soup. This location's thai noodle soup is the best i've ever had! Its a shame they are closed on weekends.
Worse pad Thai. Look at the picture. how much watery it is. Too much sweet. Hardly any chicken in it. Very less quantity.

Honestly the worst Thai Express experience I've had. I love eatting to Thai Express when I'm at a mall but this has to be by far the worse experience. The pad thai had no flavour and was very watery. Pad thai is supposed to be a dry noodle.
I went back to complain and they told me thats how pad thai is. I've had pad thai many times and this definitely isnt how its supposed to look or taste. They would not offer to remake it properly or a refund.. horrible customer service.
This is also the only thai express that does not serve take out in the regular take out boxes. The owners instead deem to use cheaper styrofoam containers. I feel like a lot of corners are probably cut at this store.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The amount of food they give is ridiculous and they are shamelessly ripping off their customers. I ordered chicken vermicelli and it came with 2 thin, small and dry skewers of chicken. The pho did not taste anything like pho is supposed to. It came with 2 pieces of thin beef. I spoke to them about the quantity of food, how I’ve ordered vermicelli from many other Vietnamese restaurants and the portions are never this tiny, even a child would not be full or satisfied by this portion and their response was “that’s how we do it, other restaurants do it differently”. Needlessly to say I was ripped off and over payed for tiny portions and VERY mediocre food. I will never give this place my business again.

The green papaya salad though was on the soft side. We were thinking the green papaya would be more crunchy in texture.

Even though it was a straight forward order, it’s absolutely messed up and now the establishment is closed for the night so I can’t bring it back and get it fixed.

Their $12-ish lunch menu features extensive Thai authentic food - just enough to satisfy your cravings and your wallet. While the actual meals come in at a normal restaurant price, their bun beef as shown in the picture below, is a savory stir fry beef with lemongrass paired with chopped salad and vermicelli. I'm also a big fan of their lemongrass soup.

Definitely one of the better places I’ve had Shawarma/middle eastern inspired eats. Would say the best samosa I’ve had in a VERY long time (will have to go back for the chicken one as they were sold out but the beef was unreal). Chicken shawarma plates were delicious, chicken salad amazing with generous portions. The garlic sauce tasted very homemade and authentic. Will definitely be going back. Very friendly staff as well.
Contrary to other posts here, this Thai Express has a better flavour than any other Thai Express I've ever been to, in a mall or on the street.

On top of everything, plenty of other Thai Express locations have been very easy on the meat, never enough, while this place, I can have meat in every bite and then have some left over at the bottom.
Huge disclaimer, I only get the Pad-Thai and Bok-Bok Bag (basically popcorn chicken, super tasty), but these have been so good, that they have me coming back here all of 2020 and 2021 so far, and there's no stopping in sight! I get food at least once a month from here!!

First time here. Very little vietnamese restaurant in the middle of no where almost but great tasting food! My broth was very delicious and had lots of beef flavour. Also the meats in my pho were very tender, more tender than other places making me pleasantly surprised. My friend said her noodles tasted very good as well. Ambiance is a bit dated and the place is a bit smaller but the young kid working is very polite I would definitely return next time I'm in the area and craving some good pho and I do also recommend to those who like to eat pho as well.
Green Mango, more like Great Mango. Always friendly staff, never really too busy and the food is excellent. I always start off with the Curry Pumpkin Soup and I'm never disappointed. I would seriously just come here for that soup. The Pad Thai with chicken is always very well done. It'n not greasy like a lot of other Thai places. The chicken isn't stringy where you feel like you got the throw away parts of the chicken. They used the good bits. I wouldn't hesitate coming back.
Friendly service and delicious food. This is a great place to go with family and friends for affordable, yet delicious Thai food. There are also a few Vietnamese options on the menu, such as pho, to add some variety. The restaurant is very neat and aesthetically pleasing on the eye. A comfortable and low-key atmosphere. There are also many interesting drink/sweet options on the menu as well for those who have a sweet tooth. I have yet to try those myself to be honest! More reason to go again.
This is the worst Thai express. Avoid at all costs!!! First of of all the guy was rubbing his nose a whole bunch of times without gloves and then back to the wok and touching the food. The pad Thai was soaked in sauce almost like a soup and the general Thai beef was disgusting it was so dry and the battered beef was hard. It tasted so old. Will never return here.
Ok for mall food. Quick. A little high on the price side. We had general thai chicken and a small soup. Soup tasted more like pho vietnamese style.
This place is HORRIBLE. Tom yum soup had no flavour. No taste. Bunch of sticky carrots stuck to the bottom of the bowl. Horrible experience. Customer service won’t help. Left the bowl at the counter. The server has no clue about cooking or customer service.
Beautiful authentic flavours. Their fresh rolls and fried spring rolls are fantastic. This bun was delicious along with their pho. The pho was so flavorful. It is a simple no frills eatery. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely go back often.
For fast food, I find Thai Express usually hits the spot. The server who took my order seemed relatively disinterested but the man who gave me my food was much more invested and friendlier. When on the move and you don't have time for "proper" Thai, this will do in a pinch.
Food tastes great, freshness is hit or miss and sometimes he will mix in old meat with fresh meat while refrying it on the grill. CASH ONLY so be ready, but prices are reasonable. No matter if you stay or go you will get your food in a Togo container.
Highly recommended***!! So delicious! Ordered peanut and basil chickens. Both dishes were amazing. A lot of fragrant basil! And I've never had peanut chicken this good! Must ask for their special hot sauce. It's not only homemade but preservative free and so well balanced - spicy, sweet and savory. I will definitely come again!
The Banh Mi is so good that I didn't even have time to take pictures! Highly recommend the Duck Banh Mi and Tom Yam soup.
Disappointed with the service.. during a not so busy Sunday in the mall. I had to wait 10mins for my order because they misplaced the order tag so it was never made. My Chicken Pad Thai had no taste.. A really bad all-round experience for $10!!!
I've ordered here several times, never had a flubbed order, though I don't make any odd requests. Staff is friendly and efficient. I don't have experience with other restaurants in the chain, but the food seems like pretty decent Thai fast food.
