They have cool live music shows and events every now and then at a reasonable price. . It gets a bit confusing though because some people just want to sit at the bar and not the event so I'm not sure if everyone has to pay regardless.

Blu Jam used to be amazing. They changed their ordering system to sit and have the need to download an app and deal with a horrendous online ordering system or have the option to go inside.

The prices also increased, and then they want you to tip them on top of that, when no one is doing anything for you but running food. They don’t have maple syrup, it’s a breakfast and lunch place.

In my opinion this went from being a great place to go and eat, to one of the worst and most frustrating places. We used to eat here all the time and meet with those coming from out of town here. We will never be going back again. No one needs this level of frustration ordering overpriced food for breakfast.

After ten minutes of struggling and then finding out they don’t have any syrup, we left.
Seriously excellent food. Everything is good here and they have fresh squeezed orange juice!
Popped in here for a quick bite and what a treat! I ordered the tuna salad sandwich and my husband ordered the Reuben. Both were delightful and HUGE. I usually take a half of a sandwich home, but I could only eat about 3/4 of my first half. Second half will be enjoyed later. Same for my husband which is mind blowing. I cant remember the last time he didn’t finish a sandwich because he was full off the first half. Also, our waitress Shelby was a doll. Will definitely be back!
The food was absolutely delicious.
Service was very good.
We will be back as soon as we can.
Decent place. Good food and portions. Price is great for family's. Only issue I had was the steak was paper-thin so if your a steak lover I wouldn't bother. However everything else was very good. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic experience. The food was really good! We got the steak hash dish and the eggwich. The americano was legit!! Highly recommend this place.
The staff is so friendly and professional. The atmosphere is very laid back. Unfortunately, the food is just okay. Mostly bland unless you get pancakes or a sandwich. My CA omelette had all the best ingredients but it was tasteless. How is that possible?

Appetizer platter was amazing. Fish schnitzel was tasty but sea bass was somewhat bland. Would come back just for the fresh pita and hummus.
This place is definitely one of the best Mediterranean places in North America.
1- The mezze tray is fantastic. Everything was high quality and tasty. Great combinations of Middle Eastern appetizers. Beautifully designed and served.
2-Very rarely you can see a place in North America that serves real Hummus and doesn't mess up the original recipe. This Hummus tastes what you would get in the Middle East.
3- We had Sea Bream and Trout and both really delicious and beautifully designed.
4- Great staff and service.
5- Israeli salad was fresh and tasty. You could see the cucumbers had fresh cuts and sauce was enough, not less or more.

Today I visited the restaurant after receiving good recommendations about it and the truth is, I was not disappointed. Indeed the restaurant meets all expectations. The service was courteous, the food arrived quickly and was very tasty, fresh and the portions were large and indulgent. We only ordered breakfast, but in my opinion you can learn about a restaurant from simple rather than complicated dishes. The omelettes were fresh and not soaked in oil, we received fresh sourdough bread and a large selection of dips. Definitely a favorite corner for Israelis and not only in Los Angeles.

I recently visited the Tarzana branch of Bluejam Cafe and it was an absolute delight. The exterior of the cafe is modest, but once inside, the warm and cozy atmosphere immediately sets the tone for a great dining experience.

As mentioned before, the Crunchy French Toast is an absolute must-try. It is a perfect combination of sweet and savory with a generous coating of cornflakes, topped with whipped cream, and served with warm syrup. The portion size is also very generous, making it a great value for money.

In addition to the French Toast, the menu offers a range of classic breakfast and brunch items, such as eggs benedict, pancakes, and omelets, all served with a unique twist.

While the food is undoubtedly the highlight of the Bluejam Cafe experience, the coffee unfortunately falls short. It is decent but not exceptional, and I was left wanting more flavor and depth.

One thing to keep in mind is that there is usually a wait to be seated, so it's best to arrive early to avoid long lines. One tip is that you can put yourself on the waiting list through Yelp, which is super convenient. While the wait can be long, it is definitely worth it for the delicious food and cozy atmosphere.

Overall, I highly recommend Bluejam Cafe in Tarzana for anyone looking for a cozy and delicious brunch experience.

I love coming to eat shuarma at this place always have lots of sitting in and out
The always put so much on your plate with non of these “that’s an extra charge”
One of the cashier girls is really nice her name is Dior , she convinced us to do this thing called “kings table” that you get so much for it totally recommend this if you are like 5 -6 people it gives u lots of options to enjoy a great lunch at a really good rest per person which I had no idea about this before so it’s worth asking about. I don’t know if you can request specifically for this Dior to be your server but she is amazing she is super nice and polite. I also saw the sign but never asked about it what is this “king table package “. So if I’m coming here with few friends we get that all the time and then a server also service the table which is nice to enjoy a lunch or dinner like that with your friends and family, saves you the line also at their pick hours since u get a server and tip them ;)
And last (they don’t always have this available) so ask and if the do you must taste it! It’s this Israeli dessert called “Malabi” it’s so delicious!!!!!!
Well hopes this helps you, to enjoy best shuarma in town ! :)

Nice bowling alley to go with the family, it is an older place so it does have a weird smell I guess it's because of the carpet. They are kid friendly, the staff will put the bumpers up if you ask. They also have light balls and ramps for the kids. The arcade has a variety of games, I recommend hanging out there if you're waiting for a lane. They also sell alcohol so that's always a plus. It is budget friendly $ .
Great food and service. Portions were outstanding and well worth the cost. I had the Calistoga Salad with rye toast. Even the rye bread was very tasty! Service was friendly, fast, and obviously the staff cared about their customers positive experience.
The atmosphere is difficult to explain other than it is old, with very little area to sit comfortably if you have handicap equipment. Although one can maneuver a walker there is nowhere to set aside for easy access. It would be great if this establishment could become a little more handicap access friendly.
Finally, I was pleased with their take out containers. Washable and reusable.

In an area totally unfamiliar to us and it was breakfast time. Had a quick look on google, saw the five stars and thought, ‘let’s give this a try’. Not disappointed at all. Had breakfast, tapas, fresh breads salad and poached eggs. Latte and fresh orange juice. Everything was so nice and presented well. Our server was very sweet and attentive. It was busy inside so we sat out. A little bit warm but we had shade provided with large parasols. Would definitely recommend for food quality, for service, for clean bathrooms. Great experience
What a wonderful find in the valley. Great food, good service and menu selections. Breakfast and lunch are the best times for us. Bacon, eggs, ham and sausage with country potatoes. Add coffee and it’s less than 20 bucks. Quiet atmosphere and quick service makes this the place to be for satisfying meal.
My goodness! This burger was one of the best I have ever tasted! The owner Manuel was very warm, welcoming and friendly. This restaurant made me feel at home.
Excellent and delicious. I can best describe it as a Middle Eastern Fish Grill. Nice sized portions, with lots of delicious dips and sauces! (personally I like the fries more well done)

Lots of very friendly staff.

Prices are very fair.

PS Was there again today. Really packed, and yet non stop excellent service.

I came here for the first time and I loved their food. Starting from their small plates the pita bread was delicious. It was soft like it just came out of the oven. You combine that with the hummus oh my god I was in heaven. haha I cant even begin to describe the white fish with lemon and garlic which was seasoned and grilled perfectly. I also ordered some oven roasted potatoes mixed with sweet potatoes which paired well with the fish. Those were good too. The service was excellent. Friendly staff. Very cozy restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back soon 😌

Updated review: ordering is easy but their website is cumbersome and not user friendly. Service is pretty awful. Paying and tipping before receiving food leaves no incentive. Mimosa and coffee never arrived. Water was never refilled. It seems to happen often because they have rehearsed lines asking if you still want it or should they issue a refund. Food is still pretty good.

Original 5 star review:
It's pretty hard to be disappointed here. From coffee to meals to dessert, it's all amazing. You may have to come multiple times to cycle through the menu (a couple times) and find a favorite. It's seems like everything new item I try becomes my favorite. Meals come out beautiful and fresh. Everything is super flavorful, with zero need to add condiments. Hot sauce is fine though. I'll have to update my comment when, if ever, I find a favorite.

The best breakfast ever if you want to feel like a king go eat. Enjoy the food enjoy the atmosphere. You will never go anywhere else to eat breakfast. This is the best breakfast I've ever had. Our waitress was checking on us every 5 minutes that we have everything. We need since they have refill for the salads. The owner was on top of everything all the table needed and you could fill it so I highly appreciate good service and I recommend everyone to go and eat and enjoy.
Located in a strip mall, Greystoke Grill is a hidden gem in the Valley. It has an old school diner type of feeling and that's because it's been around for 40 years! I love the decor and its prime location - found parking easily on-site. Immediately upon entering, our party of 5 was greeted with a big smile and quickly seated.
I personally loved the variety in their breakfast menu. I got to try a little bit of everything since all ordered different items. The Huevos a La Mexicana are superb! They had jalapeno but it wasn't overwhelming or too spicy; just right. Their homestyle potatoes are well seasoned and addicting! Their toast and coffee was on point, and our server did an excellent job in ensuring our mugs were never empty. We finished with a breakfast dessert of pancakes with whip cream and chocolate syrup topped with strawberries and bananas. Needless to say, our group devoured the whole thing! Overall, this place is an excellent establishment. I love that it's been under new ownership for over 5 years, because it shows! Staff is super attentive, courteous and the food was reasonably priced and large portions. Two thumbs up!!!

Fantastic experience. Clean professional environment. Spacious tables. excellent quality food. Has an outside dining area and two main dining areas inside connected by a walkway leading to the front. Wonderful breakfast place with excellent quality food and affordable. I got the California omelette and added ham to it. My sister got the sicilian scramble. Came with toast (with Butter and jam) and diced hash browns. The water had mint and lemon in it. I could tell it was cooked with chef expertise and experience by the taste. Phenomenal. Would go again. As a matter of fact I intend to.
