One of the best French Cuisine.
It was good place. Went there few times before. But last time we went (beginning of December) it was very dissapointing. The waitress who served us was extremely rude with no reason. We asked her if we could change our seat as she placed us near the toilet with a bright light that's very hurtful for the eyes. She taunted and made a rude comment. After that she hardly responded to our needs or paid any attention. Sick staff behaviour for a place that's pretty decently expensive. Also, the atmosphere has changed with brighter lights and uncomfortable seats. Perhaps our last time here!
Everything was really nice. We had three gallettes in total and each of them tasted unique and nice. The cider was especially nice with the apple aroma and sweetness.
We had the best experience here! The food was incredible and the service and hospitality was outstanding. Unique, elevated take on crepes/galettes, it was hard to choose! We felt so welcome and had a wonderful evening. We will definitely return next time we are in Rennes!
A wonderful place for a traditional French meal. All in French. Server was helpful and patient, but we needed to use a translation program to understand the menu.
As a coeliac this was heaven. Lots of choice for gluten-free and the galettes (savoury and sweet) were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would love to come back.

Unfortunately the food was quite a disappointment. I ordered the risotto au curry Breton and got some sort of porridge with random vegetables on top. The interior of the restaurant however was quite nice.
A big variety of different galettes and crêpes, and tasty too. The atmosphere is very chic and the staff are friendly!
I was in the area for a business trip, just glad the names place caught my eye i couldn’t bare the idea of going to rennes and not trying its famous dish.

For what i have ate is crepes with praline chocolate and vanilla ice cream and one espresso cafe. The quality of the crepes was exquisite. You cd tell its worth every penny

Tucked behind the central Place de la République, Sarrasin, meaning buckwheat in French, is a fancy yet cozy restaurant that specializes in Breton galettes and sweet crepes. I made a reservation via Google Maps and was greeted with excellent service and delectable cuisine.
I savored a mouthwatering galette filled with organic smoked salmon and creamy potato puree, which was a delightful combination of flavors. To conclude the meal, I indulged in a superb crepe adorned with juicy strawberries and a tantalizing namelaka, crafted from cream, milk, white chocolate, and gelatin.
Not only did the food impress, but the price was also very reasonable, making this dinner a fantastic way to conclude my visit to the charming city of Rennes. Sarrasin offers a warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with friendly service, making it a must-visit destination for galette lovers. I wholeheartedly recommend Sarrasin for a delightful culinary experience.

Nice spot to take a drink or snack in this really nice park. Situated at the top end. Very popular hence only 2 for service as you have to wait a while

Not always opened but a perfect place where to have coffee, an ice cream or a glass of wine in that most amazing park of Le Thabor
This place has very nice interior, staff was very friendly. Food tasted well also. Overall, I was very satisfied here.
Quick service and the guys are friendly! Always get my pizza there!

We went without reservation around 8:30 pm, offcourse it was fully booked. I asked if we can comeback when a table will be free sooner? Then the lady on the reception accepted my proposal . Then I asked it is raining outside if we can wait in their lobby then they reply for surealso we might have a drink while waiting a table. After the weighter offer us free drink
But at the end it is 100% worth to wait . I love the taste of galettes👍 verry verry delicious

Just happened to pass by this restaurant and the patio looked amazing. Decided to have lunch there. Enjoyed a 25 euro 3-course meal, and it was excellent. The Paris-Tokyo black sesame praline tastes so good! Highly recommend

Great place to go to get shouted at, insulted and riduculed infront of all the other customers. The service was absolutely terrible and the staff were unbeleivably rude towards foreigners, one of the severs shouted at my 82 year old grandmother because we POLITELY told her she got our order wrong, she then proceded to shout "I'M NOT YOUR DOG!" whilst waving her arms at my grandmother. Would not recomend...
Wonderful. More than wonderful. Five stars are not enough for these restaurant. Elegant well decorated, true napkins, cloth ones. And the food. My god. I just have "le plaît du jour". A posisson. It was haddock. The best I have ever eaten. The price 15 euros. Plus the beer. This time I will publish pictures. My recommendation. Go.

Great food, inexpensive, friendly staff. A beautiful restaurant and location. Would recommend for couples, families and small groups. Very attractive bar area and grear food choice.
Lovely bar, the waiters were pleasant and attentive, we tried some very good non alcoholic cocktails.

Walked in before 9 pm, still packed with locals. We love stylish decor and very friendly and helpful staff who chose galettes for us based on our preferences. She did a great job, galettes were super delicious.

Truly excellent cocktails, wine and beer selection, and service. The ambiance and interior design are among the best in Rennes.
This Parc is absolutely fabulous. You could spend the whole day here and not get bored. It has something for everyone. These gardens have been really well planned out and updated over the centuries.

This is probably one of the finest restaurants in Rennes...it's exactly that refined french style, which I love! Situated in the centre of Rennes, near the city hall, the terrace has a wonderful view, and also the interior is very cosy, chic & refined 😍

Sweet little cafe serving up local specialty crepes, sandwiches, beer, wine, and cider for visitors to the park. Service is sweet and attentive and there's a lovely patio for the warmer weather. Recommended.
Love the atmosphere here and usually come for a nice coffee. Tried the food a few times and it was very nice too.
Attended a work related dinner event, found staff to be very attentive dining room was in basement a converted cellar. The menu was a fish dish very good for full meal including wine 30eu.
Midday they started opening. It was raining lightly, outdoor fire was on but blowing smoke around, we had a coffee and was as expected, nicely done. Place got busy quickly. Nice atmosphere
We had a wonderful dinner at this lovely restaurant, the server was very friendly and the food is just great! 19.9 euros for entrée plat dessert, it's really amazing. Love it!
