We had an amazing spring day event at this venue. Lawn bowls, paddle and great food and atmosphere enjoyed by all.

I was not a fan of Indian cuisine before I stepped in this restaurant! And now I need to go once a week. The quality of dishes is superb. Staff are friendly and I like the atmosphere.
I recommend Afaghni Chicken. It is delicious 😋

We decided to check out the country club since we live just two minutes away and are considering moving to a closer home club. We expected the usual experience you get at most country clubs—a warm welcome, a tour of the facilities, and an explanation of what the membership entails.

Instead, when we informed security that we were there to inquire about memberships, we were told that only members could enter the premises. We explained our purpose, but the response was that we needed to sign a form to register for membership, without any prior information or tour. When we questioned how we could consider membership without knowing anything about the club, we were directed to call reception. After being transferred to the membership coordinator, we were told, quite dismissively, that they aren’t accepting new members at the moment and that we should just sign the form to be on the waiting list.

There was no offer to show us around or explain the process in detail—just a quick brush-off. This lack of basic customer service was disappointing and put us off from even wanting to sign up for the waiting list. We’d rather drive further for better service.

Lovely restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, cannot fault any of the dishes. Our waiter was attentive and polite. Definitely going back to try more dishes. The chef coming to check if we were enjoying our meals was a nice touch.

What a great tasting pizza, not sure if you have a new chef as we have ordered the pizza before and did not taste as good but today it was absolutely delicious

My husband and I had the seafood platter, it was a lot of new things we had not eaten, so when hubby booked the appointment, he asked about stuff he is allergic to. They called him and confirmed they did not cook or even stock what he is allergic to. Then, when we got our food, the chef came out and again comforted us on not using those ingredients. It gave us such a sense of ease to continue our evening and just enjoy it. The waiters never let our glasses run dry. Friendly and lovely staff. And honestly, some of the best seafood we have had. Will definitely go back!

I made a reservation and dines in the wine cellar. It was relaxed and comfortable. It was also romantic and quiet for a date night. The service was quick. I had the cheese wheel pasta and my boyfriend also had pasta and we had cheese came for dessert. The food servings were also great. This including drinks (non alcohol) amounted to R650 total, so pretty affordable.

We had a lovely evening here and had a perfect spot in the wine cellar. It's a great Italian restaurant with beautiful aesthetics and incredible ambience. The service is always remarkable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is scrumptious and well prepared.

My wife and I have been here a twice before and we always have an amazing experience. The starters were out of this world. Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed with my main meal. I ordered the Trinchado pasta, I wouldn't recommend it. It wasn't at all what I expected, it lacked flavour and seasoning. The sauce wasn't to my satisfaction at all, the entire meal was very underwhelming. I will definitely try their seafood next time, my wife's salmon meal was delectable.

They should also consider having more draughts on tap, such as Stella, Jack Black, Leffe Blonde, etc.

Booking early is essential as it does get quite full. You're looking at spending around R900 to R1,200 for a couple.

Food was tasty. Fair portion sizes. Good service. Worth trying

For the life of me I still don't understand how I always make the perfect pizza. Awesome place. Helpful staff.. just don't make the the mistake of making a pizza with no cheese. Seems ridiculous, but its a mistake you can make. Andiccios!! Please, make it a question after the fact.. "do you want cheese BRO??!" Lol

Sea food maestro in the area.
They have the quirkiest and ambitious menu for sea food.
A great wine selection.
Warm atmosphere.
The waiters and waitresses are great - they are quick on their feet.
The meals come at a premium price, some of them costing as much as or more than an average monthly grocery list
For once in a while date night especially for sea food enthusiasts, this is a good joint.
Feel free to ask if you have no idea of what to order, the staff are really helpful.

We frequent Fego at Montecasino at nights when we in Jhb. Today, 05 July 2024, we were having lunch here and while dining, we saw the most shocking thing one could ever see at any establishment. The lady baker removed a carrot cake from the oven, stuck her finger in to check whether it's done yet. My son-in-law immediately confronted her regarding her disgusting act, and she promptly responded that she does this with all the cakes she bakes to check whether it's done, it's normal practice for her. We were disgusted to learn this. We reported this to the manager and left.

Amazing curries and chaat variety is off the charts. Portions are so generous! They always make you feel comfortable and sometimes you find a lot of the South Asian community having dinner, and it just adds to the vibe of the place. Thoroughly enjoyed tonight's lamb bhuna and Tikka momos, which I polished before I could take pics 🤭😋

The waitress was so kind and professional and always checking if we were okay or needed anything. The food was also so amazing and tasted perfect. It is affordable and is a very cozy vibe. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Excellent service and food … spent a wonderful anniversary dinner with the family recreating an evening spent here over 20 years ago … food was better than I remembered, wonderful selection of wines … a special evening indeed !

Vegetarian starters were amazing, had the Chaap Tikka and Paneer Tikka.
Dhal Makhani was delicious, had a takeaway for my son after our dinner.
Starters are served on a hot plate/sizzler took us back to Great Ganga Rishikesh.

Seriously not a delicious pizza, at all. And for that price you would at the very least expect avo that isn't brown. Couldn't even eat the avo, ended up in the bin

We usually love the pizza from Pizza Bar and their delivery time is decent - tonight it took over 1hr and 20 minutes with no communication from the restaurant. Really poor. And the pizza received was the wrong order. We had to then wait for the correct order to be delivered (a further 30 minutes) - to be told to give back the original pizza and were told to pay in the difference. More than happy to pay for what we ordered but when you've waited close to 2 hours and dealt with the level of service we had dealt with I'd expect some kind of compensation or apology (FYI: driver was pleasant and this clearly indicates poor management). Will be finding a new local pizza place after tonight.

This was my first experience dining at Andiccio24. I have always heard by word of mouth that their food is excellent, and I can agree to that. The pizzas are incredible! I particularly enjoy Hollywood. They perfected the base, and somehow, their combinations of toppings really compliment each other with taste and flavor.
Now, the menu is a bit on the costly side of things. However, it is so worth it. This is money well spent.
In terms of service...well, my partner and I were the only customers in the restaurant at the time, so we had all their attention.

No problems with their service. Cheesecake was heavenly. Chocolate cake was stale. Worst coffee ever.

Pizza was amazing, try making one with Cheese Foccacia lamb, feta, grilled onions and balsamic 🤤 also 24h

Fine dining experience, amazing staff that are friendly and accomodating. Food was so good, everyone that joined us raved about it. There wasnt a single meal we ordered that was not good. Take the fondant potatoes over the chips, thank me later! Highly recommend the steak with lemon butter basting! Excellent food and service.

They are life savers and really kind hearted people who serve the best made pizzas at all hours of the day and night. Never disappointed and always satisfied. The staff is also patient and accommodating.

Always a great experience with the service and food. Somethings changed - had to send food back twice. Chicken strips were dry, then ordered a chicken may sandwich - pic attached. Not spread well and the cheese covered where chicken mayo was not.

Just ordered it via Mr D and except for the delivery driver that got lost and couldnt understand directions (dont know how that happened as everyone gets my place quite easily). Except that the pizza was cold,it was super tough and dry. I should have rather ate the box...i ordered the Meat Lover's and it was processed junk. I would honestly rather recommend eating from a dumpster. Honestly the worst pizza ever...

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this will help the staff improve, I ordered a double shot of espresso which is meant to be much shorter 60ml and flavourful. I got something similar to a americano 100ml , watered down, and unpleasant it also cost me R36! . I’m willing to give the place a second shot… please improve 👊🏻

Buying food from the Marlboro location is a weekly staple. Have never had an issue with the food, always tastes good and especially paired with a fresh hot buttered naan! Portions are decent.

We stopped for a Lunch on a Wednesday afternoon it was quiet we where welcome by a Lovely gentleman.

We decided to sit and eat, the place was very quiet clean and has private rooms for hire.

We were given pompedoms and some sweet chilli and mint yoghurt as appetisers.

Their portions where big fresh and satisfactory.

I must say our food was soooo tasty we had the Navratan Korma and Kadai Paneer.

We enjoyed ourself and will be back

Great Course. Really really well kept. Ground staff on and around the course are amazing and super friendly, and the people working at the halfway house too. However, the facilitators on their golf carts are some of the most unfriendly people I have ever met. Absolutely ruins all the hard work everyone else puts into making the games worthwhile.

Samosas are really unhygienic and seems smashed potatoes used inside is couple of days old. I had very bad experience many times I bought samosas. I got 3 portions as samosas for a small party and all of them smells really bad. Noone even touched them after first bite.

The Chicken Tikka that we ordered from here was gone bad and tasted sour when we got home and I fetched this for dinner , and we ordered 3 of them .... then we had the chicken skewer and it was overcooked and burnt ... I will not be going there again ... and myself and my daughter suffered the entire night with tummy cramps and diarrohea

Good evening. I just ordered a mex veg pizza with NO tomato base as I am allergic to tomato. The restaurant sent me the pizza WITH tomato base and the manager (Housman or something like that) was extremely rude and refused to compensate me. This restaurant must not be on your books as they are rude and could have caused me severe illness.

Ordered the lamb bunny chow. Probably the worst bunny I’ve had ever (and I’ve had a lot!). Inedible as it was so salty. Meat was tough and tasted like it was cooked a while back. Very disappointed as I was starving and was really looking forward to a tasty bunny.

Delicious food. Poppadums served as appetizers. Food is hot when order hot but yummy. Good service and decent proportions of food served.

I'm in Sandton for a brief work stint and felt like Indian food. Took a chance and popped in here.... and very glad I did.
Good service, friendly, made me feel at home (pretty home sick) and well priced.... and the Chicken Tika Masala is just beautiful and fragrant, have not yet had this good in Cape Town. I may just go get the same for "breakfast" tomorrow!

Whenever I go to Sandton then at least my 1 meal during the trip is fixed there as it gives proper Indian feel through it's food and taste.
My colleagues from different countries also likes Indian cuisine served by them and mainly Rajasthani Masala Bhindi

Normally restaurants give more lettuce than anything else. But not The Pizza Bar, they don't skimp on ingredients. The Salad was really fresh. The Vegetarian Pizza also really good. :)

Bryanston CC were very innovative in their idea of a wine tasting today. They score 5/5 for this idea. The wine selections were top class as was the food. Well done to those who organised it and to those in the kitchen 👌👍

The food was really delicious and the service was great. If you looking for tasty, flavourful Indian cuisine then this place is a must. I had a masala dosa and the flavours were so good, ill definitely be back. For mains I had a paneer tika masala and it was simply delicious

Great value for money and a fantastic product. The bhoti with the white sauce is the best that I have had. All the food is spicy, so pls ask for mild if u can't handle heat.

I definitely recommend this awesome place, very chilled and it has great service. We enjoyed our time there, my friend and I. It was our first time going there... The pizza varieties are just so good and delicious too.

All though I have eaten here before, they provide simple yet good food.

However, the coffee at this place is really outstanding and hard to beat. All the drinks were brought at the same time, and were still of great temperature! A lot of times at other places they come at different temperatures.

The coffee has a lot of flavor and is far from bitter.

I would recommend their cortado’s for a coffee with a twist!

The service was excellent from the get go, as well as the service in between serving us and leaving.

If you want a great coffee, this is your spot!

Pizzas were excellent (Margarita and Pepperoni) filter coffee was excellent, staff super friendly and prices better than franchise in the same centre. Only drawback is the seating area is either on the road or passage. It was throwing it down with rain when we visited and we found out that we can sit on the atrium of the burger joint next door.

If you are looking for original Pakistani tikka in Sandton area this is the place.Average meal costs around 60-70 rands(4-5 usd).Its not a fancy restaurant rather a house hold joint but with great food.The staff is friendly and service is good.

The food was very tasty however the amount of chips that came with the tikka was underwhelming, which was about 5 pieces. We ordered 2 tikka meals and the chips between the 2 meals still was still less than what you would get in 1 meal elsewhere. This was the only downfall. The food was really tasty and the naan(not roti even though they call it roti) was perfect, especially their masala roti, it's a must try! If they increase their chips and include the usual tikka sauce in that small packet, they would see me way more often.

Friends and I went for dinner, and decided on some Indian food for our evening out.
Very quaint and authentic Indian spot with Pretty décor.  I’ve always wondered where it was situated, as I have never driven past Benmore Gardens. Now I know.
They have a good selection of food to choose from, so there is a variety for any picky eaters. They brought us some “Papar” to nibble on with some Chutneys. A famous indian snack either fried or cooked made from sources such as peeled black gram flour, lentils, chickpeas, rice, tapioca, or potato.  We ordered a Veg starter Platter to share, with Tikka Paneer, Onion Bhaji, and 2 other items. I loved the taste and crunchiness of the Bhaji. My favourite. Service was pretty quick, and our food came in good timing as we were hungry.
For mains, I was craving a mutton curry but couldn’t decide on which one, so I went with the traditional and ordered a Garlic & Chilli Naan, as I don’t really like rice with my curries. My friends ordered the Chicken Breyani, and the Lemongrass Fish, with naan. We all ordered medium in strength.
Now, let me tell you this Mutton Curry kicked some serious butt!. It was really spicy but oh so tasty, the meat was tender and the gravy was just soo delicious. My naan also complimented it very well. The chicken breyani was also quite strong, but tasty even though i did expect something slightly different. The lemongrass fish, that’s something unique. It was completely different to what I expected. It has a nice taste, but need a bit of sauce to it.
We did order desserts, but this is something that all indian restaurants fail at in my opinion. I have not gone to any indian restaurant where I have enjoyed dessert to date. I wanted Soji, and my friends had the Gulab and the Ras Malai. For me all 3 was a miss, although my friend enjoyed her Ras Malai. My soji lacked flavour and the texture was too solid.
Would definitely come back for more starters and mains, decent food and good quality and service.

02.01.2019 I was craving curry and didn't have my car at work so i ordered via an app. I ordered a Chicken Roti Roll. Portion size not bad, but the Roti was very chewy/doughy and my chicken was filled with cabbage and carrots. Sorry but that's not curry, it's more like a spring roll filling.

This is a reasonably good breakfast/brunch spot. Highly recommend the Omelette and Chicken basket. Both are delicious and portions are huge. Coffees, milkshakes and hot chocolates are some of the tastiest around. Efficient and friendly staff. Tends to get busy but convenient for a quick meal and/or coffee date. Variety of delicious cakes daily to take your pick.

Had a function there. Food was incredible. The venue has stunning views especially at sundown. Sufficient parking as well. They have several different conference rooms and all events are marked clearly when you arrive and there are boards along the way to navigate you to your event. Very clean and professional. Bathrooms are beautiful and very clean too.

One of the best hangouts, good food, is always busy but provides excellent service. I always choose their fish and chips, my absolute favorite. I have never had a bad experience at the club. Keep up your good work 👏
