Small Cosy Diner with many english breakfast options and great variety for kids meals too. They have halal meat options and portion size was huge for price.
Visited Symposium cafe for the first time, was quite amazed with the quality of food, portion sizing and the wonderful customer.
We were served by Olivia, she was wonderful and very humble. The owners came to check up on us as well. Must say the overall experience surpassed by expectation.
Will surely be back 👍

Great experience at symposium milton The service was top-notch, thanks to sunshine who made our desst. the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was amazing. Every dish was flavorful and expertly prepared. Highly recommend!
Had a lovely brunch at this restaurant for Thanksgiving, their weekend brunch was not available but they were open which was awesome to say the least !! Some amazing chicken waffle, symposium burger, sweet potato fries, I can give the teriyaki bowl a miss for sure, the waffles and pancakes were yumm!!
Loved this small but cozy restaurant. Food was great, our server was very kind to us and they have some really good deals during the week and very affordable menu. Nice spot for a Saturday morning breakfast.
We had a group dinner for a party of 8. The service was really great. The food came out very quickly from the time we ordered. The inside is nicely done and kept. We have been to one other location of Symposium and that was in bad shape.
Vegetarian Wrap and Side Greek Salad - was pretty underwhelming. Nothing special, just a bunch of fresh veggies and some dressing.
Vegan Beyond Wrap - Again a Beyond Burger with a bun and lettuce tomatoes pickle and onion. No creativity, specialty, or something that one couldn’t do at home. The fries were done perfectly.

Very good food, service was good, nice man came over as we waited and asked if it was for here or to go. Food was good. I felt the value for the price we paid was fair. Most places I need two wraps to fill me up, here one was filling and was quality tasting!! Will be back !!!
I came in for a quick dinner. The sandwiches are my go to. Super filling after a work day and healthy for a great price. The soups are fresh and delicious too. It’s worth the trip. Highly recommend. Staff were super nice and friendly, even managed to happily accommodate all of my girlfriend’s requests.
Visited this place for brunch on September 15,2024, the food was good but the customer service was below average. The person attending to us didn’t seem experienced in customer service, we weren’t offered coffee or any drinks and we had to ask for water, and once we asked for water he gave us two cups and a bottle even though we where a group of three, I’m assuming he thought we would share cups lol. Then we had to ask another waitress for an extra cup and she seemed very experienced wish we had her attending to us instead. We have been here a couple of times before and have always had a pleasant experience but the waiter we had last time ruined it, if you’re dining in and if you are planning on having a good time with your friends or family please make sure you have one of the ladies as your waitress they do an excellent job, I hope the guy who tended to us improves or learns proper customer service.

The menu has a fantastic variety of options, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the fish and chips, which was perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality.
What truly stood out was the attentiveness of the staff. They made sure we had everything we needed, and their genuine care made the experience even more enjoyable. The cafe was also spotless, which is always a huge plus.

We tried the beyond meat burger with Mediterranean salad , Pad Thai and some desserts . The Pad Thai was a tad bit sweet rest were good . We enjoyed the Italian soda

Very Very Disappointed and Uselessly Expensive Restaurant!!
I recently visited The Chopped Leaf and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Spinach Power Salad Bowl with grilled chicken, which cost me C$18.06. For such a high price, I expected fresh ingredients and a generous portion and include all ingredients as posted on their menu boards. Unfortunately, what I received was far from that.
The salad was not fresh, the Dirty Balsamic Dressing and the portion of grilled chicken was incredibly small, around 10 to 15 grams. It felt like I was paying an exorbitant price for very inexpensive food. The portions were very short, and the overall quality did not justify the cost.
I would give this place minus five stars if I could. It’s a uselessly expensive restaurant, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for value for their money.

Had a great experience ! Good breakfast, great service by Louna and beautiful atmosphere. Owner came over to the table to make sure if the food is good.
I've been here a few times for lunch when I'm in the area, and the quality seems to be declining as well as the customers. Empty other than staff having lunch.
I tried Eggsmart while visiting Milton. It was a great halal brunch option! Just sure to ask for halal because they don’t do it by default.
We enjoyed these items: the chicken and waffle club sandwich, chocolate waffle (Chocohalic), southwest scrambler and Smash burger! All the food was tasty but my personal favorite was the Southwest scrambler. Perfect combo of sauce, veggies and soft scrambled egg!
The Sunday brunch time was crazy busy so sadly the only 2 staff waiting tables struggled to serve us properly like forgetting our water 😅. Still giving a 5 star because the servers were kind and food was tasty.

We have been thinking to give it a try this place after getting a lot of praising from my friend. So we got a chance and tried meat lovers, veggies platter and my son wanted to have sausages. Server Almas helped us to place an order according to his choice. Coffee was also perfect. We didn't feel to have lunch later today.

The spicy chicken order was particularly underwhelming. The sandwich had just three small pieces of chicken, which was quite disappointing. I've included a photo for reference.
Our experience with the Santa Fe and Southwest salads was no better. Not only did the staff forget the dressings, forcing us to make a return trip, but we also found hair in one of the salads, which was the final straw in our overall poor experience.
Considering everything, there are definitely better dining options out there. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

my boyfriend and i are frequents at this breakfast place, our favorite date time is our breakfast dates, and sunrise grill has always provided warm, and welcoming service! after you have been there once youll feel just like family! we have gone to other restaurants before but always end up coming back sunrise. they are just the best in every way, best food, best staff and definitely the best owners!
Absolutely disgusting sandwiches, will make you sick and overpriced. Don't waste your money here.
Good halal food! Good service! The southwest skillet was delicious and portion size was good. Meatlovers omelette was loaded with bacon, sausage and veggies, just the way we wanted. Orange juice was freshly squeezed and coffee was fresh too. The server also brought Chai when asked to.
The owners of Sunrise Grill (Milton) were very accommodating for our social group of 20 people. We had breakfast on the patio and greatly enjoyed the food and service. Timing of food was perfect and very friendly staff. It was the first breakfast event with a unanimous agreement to come back! Thank you for an amazing experience Sunrise Grill! See you soon!!
One of the saddest sandwiches I've ever had. No idea what I was expecting but this is not it. Ordered through Uber eats and was super excited to try the sandwich. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich on multi-grain. The lettuce was browned, the chicken tastes gross, the buffalo sauce was not good. Overall the sandwich is not tasty at all. Even the Dell sauce on the side doesn't taste the greatest. There's just something about it that's off.

They use to serve their salads in boxes that were great now they switched to very small portions that are fit for a toddler. The lemon is just for comparison but the portions are outrageous now for the price. At least before we’d get a nice size box of salad now we get this?
Good breakfast spot! Chef's special is really good value. Owners are super friendly. Great to have a wonderful local breakfast spot nearby.
We love the place as a family. Excellent menu items and very nice service. We loved it - from our little one to myself. I had a great suggestion on the Avocado with Salmon sandwich. We also ordered Trifecta.
Excellent breakfast option in Milton. Good serving size, fast service, bright & clean interior and good sized sitting area.
We had the traditional egg & toast breakfast which was good. Eggs were exactly like we wanted, toasts were well buttered & home made fries tasted good as well.
French toasts were also tasty & were quickly wiped out of the plate.
Overall, good breakfast experience that we will try again.

Amazing breakfast. Everyone was so awesome. Michelle served us and was so attentive to our numerous needs. The Chef gave us his excellent hot sauce. If you like heat, do try it. The Western Skillet was divine.
My fiancé and I ordered through Uber Eats today and I made a mistake on my meal. Not only did the staff call to let me know, they included some of the food item I mistakenly left off the order on the house, even though it was near the end of the day and the driver had arrived. Above and beyond kindness and service, plus super yummy food. Thank you very much to all the staff working today!!
This review of mine is long overdue! My family and I always enjoy a hearty and wholesome breakfast here! Courteous and friendly service, delicious hot breakfast and wonderful owners who are genuinely kind, warm and hospitable. It’s a pleasure to enjoy a yummy breakfast at SG!

The bowl I ordered was delicious! You order at the counter and sit and a staff member will bring it to you. The salad was full of fresh ingredients. The staff members were friendly.
The restaurant caters to vegans and those gluten-free.
Being vegan I selected bowl #2 and would get it over and over again.
The only thing was in regards to first impression: there were a lot of tables not cleared and cleaned, wasn't as tidy upon walking in.
I will be back, looking forward to it!
