It's not really close to the things that I like. That's not saying. It's not close to anything. It's your normal room. Nothing special. It was clean. The people that worked there were nice. So. I'm not complaining about this place. I'm just saying that. My ⭐ system are different from Google.
So close to the airport, good for early flights. Very close to old Town. We didn't realize it was just a few blocks away. Rooms are a little dirty. Breakfast was good for the most part. I am gluten free and they has a few options like hard boiled eggs,, scrambled eggs (powdered), and yogurt. There is a pool and hot tub but we didn't use it.
Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but pretty close. It was dirty. The shower had visible dirt and the towels were not clean. Our check in experience was fine. Nice gentleman at the front desk. Only there for one night. Definitely convenient location but not clean.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is great overall - close to a lot of vacation attractions in San Diego. The staff provided excellent service too which made our trip even more enjoyable. We originally booked for 3 nights, but due to a health emergency we were unable to drive down to San Diego for the first night and gave late notice (called the hotel around 4pm the day we were supposed to be checking in). We figured we would have to pay for that night since we didn't give 24 hours notice. However, the front desk attendant was very kind and understanding and let us cancel that night with no charge. When we arrived the next day, she got us into our room early (around 1pm) and we had a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend this location.
Although the room wasn't ready when I arrived at 3:30pm it was ready half an hour later. It was clean and roomy. The air conditioning was slightly stinky but since the air outside was cool, we just opened the windows. It was quiet while we slept. The pool and jacuzzi were fun but both had way too much chlorine. Beware the additional costs for parking. It's $12 a night. You'll also pay around $2 for use of a safe everyday whether you use it or not. So read the website and all fine print before booking. I almost want to give it 3 stars for the ridiculous costs of snacks at the front counter. $3 for a freaking water, come on! All in all it was decent and safe.
The first room i checked into looked pristine. There was an issue with the TV (TV had a line in the middle of the screen). They kindly switched our room. Second room had some cosmetic blemishes but TV worked great. Room was clean and appeared bug free. Bed was comfortable and provided a good night sleep. Breakfast was great. Wife went to get breakfast and everything was available. I went with 45 minutes left for breakfast and choices were limited. I recommend going early for breakfast. They did surprise us with a parking charge. Parking is in the basement and it is tight. Had to pull vehicle out to let family out. I was lucky no one was next to me in the morning otherwise I would have had to enter through the back if the SUV. Old town is about 3 blocks from the hotel so we decided to walk. Overall, experience was was good.
By far the best hotel I've stayed at in a while. Pet friendly, no pet deposits or extra fees and at the time of posting this a very inexpensive parking fee though there is space you could park on the street to avoid it and the paid spaces were tight but doable with a fairly large car. Though right on a freeway on ramp our room was next to it and didn't hear very much road noise. A fantastic pool and spa and a really good continental breakfast. They do charge a safe fee which is in all rooms, so long as you tell them you didn't use the safe they'll wave it. There was a fridge and microwave in the room and the beds were very comfortable. Super clean and the bathroom was very nice but the water pressure was a bit lacking. The staff really made this stay great, friendly, always available and very knowledgeable of the area! 3 blocks from great restaurants and fun things to do. They were mindful of pet friendly activities as well. When I'm back in town I'll stay here again.
The location was perfect (right off the freeway)for us, close to the beach and Sea World. Front Desk could use another person helping out, but Elizabeth did the best she could. Rooms are nice, clean and cozy. Beds are comfy, and the restroom was clean. Cleaning service was excellent, trash was thrown out and beds were done when we got back. Pool was clean and not so cold. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would most definitely stay here again.:) oh and they serve complimentary breakfast, which is surprisingly good!!😊
