I have canceled my plan since I found people were not really happy with services at restaurants.
I mean all 3 restaurants.
Vip room
They charge for it an extra amount of money, but it has no benefits over other table

I made my reservation through an agent which was recommended to me by the hotel, l was very surprised nothing like what I aspected, my reservation was for a room with double bed they told me they don’t have double they will put me in a room with two single beds which I refused then they put me in a room in the smoking floor which I also refused finally I was transferred to a connected room which I can hear the full conversation from the attached room. They offered me an upper floors room with additional payment, it’s not my fault so I refused because I couldn’t come to a compromise with them on the payment.
The personal in the lobby not to the level of 5 stars
Unfortunately It is not to my expectations

First, we went to Cafe Sunset in Lobby
Then Hostess told Us we’re full we will put your name on the waitlist we said okay we will wait then she called us and she said we have a table for you guys when we sit she got one of the chairs I told her our guests about to arrive here what are you doing Ma’am?
She told I Don’t care can you believe it
they served Espinas Brand in the first interaction the story does not end here then after 30 minutes of waiting I told why don’t you take our orders one of them told me don’t you see we’re busy.
I was furious that one of them told me sorry this is Espinas I liked his honesty but that wasn’t a proper answer for me.
Then one of the waitresses brings somebody else’s order for us and after
(1)hour our drinks arrived finally congratulations to all the team you bring our orders after one hour
We were about to go when I went to talk to the manager Called Miri when I was talking to him he was spitting he was Ridiculously impolite and furious
He doesn’t know how to talk to a guest
He defined his team totally and I decided to talk to F&B Manager SALAMI
That short guy was even rudest than Miri
They Only invest in their branding that’s why they are famous but as I told you they are Ridiculously horrible.

I'm not getting back to horrible Espinas again.

Great service with bigger spaces compare to the one in downtown. I was there when Omani delegation was in the town, very busy but organized. View from the top of the mountain is also better. Staffs are more talkative and we had interesting conversations. Breakfast was standard.

Charging a lot of money, not clean enough. The blanket had few drops of blood, even the staff didn’t care much about it, they just said the room manager asked a small apology! Their staff names were Shahbaz and khosravi.

The hotel is good the room view is great.
The only problem was the smell of cigarette inside the hotel corridor and the elevator was very busy. The hotel guests and ordinary people used the same elevator.
I recommend this hotel at all

Compared to all the hotels I stayed at in America which are mediocre but consider themselves 5 star. Espinas was a better hotel than Ritz Cartlon of San Francisco, why? Because I paid way less for clean, luxury, top notch service whereas in San Francisco, I had to deal with homeless.

Abysmal ethical standards. Horrible management and unacceptable attitude. There are no ethics codes in place to be followed and obviously inadequate training for the staff. It happens more than three times in only three days. On one occasion, I was stopped by the front desk staff of the breakfast venue. The reason is that I am wearing the sleepers that the hotel provides, and it is not acceptable for them. Do they expect the guests to wear shoes during their staying to have breakfast in the early morning? That is insane and unacceptable. I have to add that I was wearing socks. The lady was rude, and then asked her about the policy for attending the breakfast venue; she replied it was just unacceptable to wear sleepers and asked me to leave. For this price point and five-start hotel, it is horrendous. This happened on April 17,2023. And there are many other issues with the staff. I am very well traveled and this has never happened to me at five-star hotels. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO BE RESPECTED DURING YOUR STAYING.
