Their staff is highly unprofessional, rude, and insensitive. I am a level headed person who works in customer service. I could never imagine having the attitude they have, especially towards people who have lost loved ones. My call was incredibly unproductive as I couldn't even finish a sentence or ask without being rudely being interrupted with assumptions.
Always the best service , never an issue. People who leave a bad review for this place are mad cause they can’t get monetary information about someone else.
This place is great and really know how to treat their pensioners. They are extremely knowledgeable and patient.

Covid had changed a lot of things, and everyone had to pack their patience.

However, Central Pension Fund gets two thumbs up for me.
Hard to get anyone to answer the phone. Plus they have east coast hours. Close at 330 central time
I had to jump through more hoops to get my 1st check that you have thought it was their money . Start early and have your t s and I s crossed and dotted.
This location was very dirty inside. We had to whipe our table down before we could sit at it. I literally walked the whole seating area and every table was dirty.

Floors had fries and wrappers and garbage on them as well. It was very dirty.

Food was good. But judging at the cleanliness of the seating area, I'm frightened to know how dirty the kitchen coulda been....
Try and get ahold of this place after 3 pm what a joke your hours of operation are 730-4 quit watching the clock and pick up your phone and answer a simple 1 min question laziness at its finest
Dad died 11 months ago and yet to receive any money. Have called multiple times and haven’t been able to talk to anyone yet. Something is fishy with this “union.”……
Even after five years, the other reviews are still corrected. The customer service is lacking effective and friendly communication skills.

My account was hacked in JUNE. I HAVE NO STATEMENTS since August. My lawyer is srill investigating the theft of a large sum of my funds. What's NEXT? I AM DISGUSTED. PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES. What's the function or purpose of FDIC?😣
Took Geico over 1.5 years to collect. Good luck with these folks.

Only one Teller, with long lines. Do they have a branch mgr?

I am having a very difficult time getting any type of answer from this company. I've been calling for several weeks and keep getting told someone is working my claim and they will call me back. Emily Lin is the only one who I've ever spoken with and she can only take in messages. I submitted my claim paperwork in November 2017. It is January 2018 and there has been no decision yet and I have still not received a call from anyone despite my weekly calls asking for an update/decision/help. I am driving a damaged car that was rear ended by a DC taxi that was insured by them.

Convenient location and parking is OK. Rhode island ave gets busy though.
