I recently booked a facial and it was amazing. Very relaxing and refreshing. Since my facial was amazing, I thought I'd book myself a massage. As a new mom, I took the opportunity to treat myself for Mother's Day. I was planning to relax and unwind a little. However, my massage was far from relaxing. I booked the salt stone massage and it was the most aggressive back rub I've ever had. There was no communication regarding pressure preference or comfortability of the temperature of the stones. I was unable to relax because the masseuse was rubbing my back and arms in such a quick manner. The "head massage" was a rough scratch through my head. The "foot massage" was a rough pull of my toes.
Moving to my neck, there was no communication to see if the stones were at a good temperature. She put the hot stones on more sensitive parts of my skin and left it sitting there until I asked her to move it.
When the massage was over, she threw an eye mask over my eyes and then continued to gather her belongings.
It was NOT a relaxing experience for my first Mother's Day.

I suffer from chronic back and neck pain. I try to self care as much as possible but it always needs the additional help. I regularly go for acupuncture and it helps deter the spasms. I've been looking for at least a decent and good deep tissue massage for more than 6 years!!!
I'm relieved (no pun intended) to have found Belmont Shore Spa. Nancy is by far the best deep tissue I've had! Pressure is on point and relaxing, especially when she worked the complimentary hot stones. Plus they offer affordable rates and specials.
I will be returning as often as I possibly can.

My husband and i were at Spavia last Saturday for a Couples massage. It was amazing. Matthew was my masseuse. He is awesome. Will definitely be going back

This was a great massage, therapeutic for my body and relaxing for my mind. Allyson really listens to you and adjusts her techniques and pressure as you need. Her knowledge and her intuitive methods really created a great comfort zone for my first experience with Allyson.

I've been coming here for years. It's conveniently located on 2nd street. I found my favorite in Mike. I'm sure the others are good as well. Very good pricing so tip well with your savings.
Great experience from beginning to end. The ladies at the front desk are kind and do a fantastic job explaining everything about the different treatments and procedures available. Clean and relaxing atmosphere.
Friendly welcoming staff. Atmosphere was nice and clean. Relaxation room has water and teas, coloring books, smoothing music, warm pillow. They have lockers and 1 shower. They offer robes and sandals. As a plus size woman the robe didnt fit well.

I went into Spavia today from a Groupon coupon. First time being there and I was impressed with everything I really enjoyed the business and everything. The moment I get into the bed, I’m unsure what his name was but an older gentlemen was massaging me and kept coughing really bad. I feel bad because he seems like a nice guy and everything but if you’re coughing that much you shouldn’t be working especially massaging. He was not even wearing a face mask to cover his face so he can be respectful of the people around him. Again, nice guy but really didn’t respect his distance when coughing or using a face mask.
I was very happy with the massage I got at Moonlight at Naple. My back was especially bad and I could not make it to the chiropractor. I was able to schedule an appointment for a Thai massage and was very happy with the service I received. I have a piched nerve and the stretching they do really help relieve the pain.I have found my new spot and would recommend it to anyone.
I have had so many great massages that provided greater range of motion, relaxation, and pain relief. All I can say about this was awkward and average. The spa facilities were somewhat tired. The shower was out of service and the table wobbled terribly. I also wasn’t told beforehand that I would be having a male masseuse. I don’t mind, but I have never not been told. Victor the therapist, felt very mechanical in his work. I am all for unconventional movements and techniques when they provide results, but I literally couldn’t tell any difference after the massage. It was a disappointing hour.
Michelle literally healed me - my shoulders/upper back are awfully tight with knots from sitting at a desk/posture. I usually have to say where exactly to go, but she zero’d right in on the exact areas and it felt amazing. It was on a level of physical therapy. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be going back!
Dee Dee Thai Spa is my go to when I need a massage in Long Beach, they are the best. If you like deep tissue and Thai massage combo, I recommend Jenny, she is amazing!
Good experience and decent prices. My friend wasn't pleased with the 60 minute massage but it was what I needed. I've had worse, so can't complain. Only mishap was they confused what my friend and I requested, so she received the focus and extras I wanted, and vice versa. She's highly sensitive in her feet and they gave her my requested foot scrub which set her in anxiety.. hence her disapproval, which I completely understand.
This place is the best! My go to for massage in Long Beach for years. Nana is an excellent, intuitive therapist who I highly recommend. Thank you Dee Dee Thai Spa and Nana!

What a wonderful experience! Parking is easy in the back and there’s some parking on the street. I made the appointment for two 1 1/2 hour massages and a facial and it was a very easy process. The day of the appointment, I received a text message from the spa, giving me parking directions, and pictures of the outside of their spa, which was very helpful! Once we checked in, they greeted us and asked us immediately what areas on our body we wanted more work on. I loved that! we took a room with two beds and as soon as we undressed, they turned on the heating blankets, and begin getting to work. The ladies were so strong and very thoughtful with asking us about the pressure of the massage. There was even one point when the masseuse was working on my shoulders, and I was stretching my leg because my back was very tight. When she got to my leg, she spent more time on the leg that I was stretching. I love the details that they put into the Massage. Once we were done, they gave us some tea and some candy. I’ll definitely be back! Also, the music in the room was very calming. The place was clean as well.
Today was a great relaxing time. Ron gave awonderful massage and Christina a great facial. I felt like a new person at the end!

Came here for my birthday and had a great time. Did the whole body scrub, 1 hour massage and end up with the hot tub. They serve champagne to accompany the experience. Will definitely come back here!

Very nice spa. I was beyond impressed with Joshua’s body knowledge. He could identify areas of discomfort and would release the tightness, knots or scar tissue. Great pain management massage therapist. Highly recommend seeing him.

Fantastic. I have neglected getting a good deep tissue massage for years but wish I had sooner. M Xue was my masseuse and she could probably flatten a bent steel beam with those elbows. Will definitely be back for more muscle tenderizing soon! I recommend this place.

I give this place no stars and don't waste your money here. My husband decided to give me a birthday massage here. First of all, they couldn't decide what price to charge. The owner told him one thing and when he got there the workers wanted to charge 60 dollars more. And they kept talking not in English and I had a bad feeling. I told my husband I don't want or need it here. But he insisted because he wanted to make my night special. I'm a RN so I told them what place to rub and that I didn't want it roughly. That night and the following days he and I were on so much pain we had to go see a doctor and he recommended us to a chiropractor who had to fix the damage they did. My husband always gets a massage and this was the worse place he has ever been. BEWARE DONT GO HERE!!!! YOU WILL PAY IN PAIN!!! Go there and u end up getting treatment from the doctor!!! My receipt for therapy!!
I have been there twice now. Both times with my wife for a couples massage. We were greeted politely and walked through our options along with pricing (reasonable for the amount of time). The entrance was clean and welcoming. The rooms were also clean and nicely decorated. The space was quite and there was little to no outside noise or disturbance. The therapists were very detailed and asked where our pain points were and what amount of pressure we would be comfortable with. They are accurate with their time as well as making sure to preserve your dignity. My wife and I both left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. This will likely be a place we will come for massage when we want extra attention. I would recommend this establishment.
Lay was an amazing masseuse. I got the 60 minute Swedish massage and she found all of the right places to work. I feel so much more relaxed after this session. I would definitely recommend Dee Dee Thai Spa and request Lay if she is available!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I've been seeing Mike for the last 7 years. I see him at least once a month and he is beyond amazing. The pricing is awesome and being on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, it's nice to know you're getting the best of the best. Not gonna lie, one of my favorite parts is getting a bottle of water and a Hershey chocolate at the end.♡♡♡

The receptionists were both very helpful and nice! I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience as I had neutral expectations going in. My massage therapist Angel did a great job and was very open to communication regarding the massage. I hope to make an appointment for a deep tissue massage next!

For a great, deep tissue old fashion, no frills massage, this is the best value for a massage anywhere! Just be ready to go to sleep, because it's so relaxing you will want to!!! Zzzzzz
Allyson takes the time to ask what areas you would like her to focus on. She always makes sure I am comfortable with the intensity the of pressure. She is professional and personable and the atmosphere is very calming and soothing.
This spot was recommended from the Westin Hotel in Long Beach since they don’t have facilities at their hotel. Since it was recommmended from such a large hotel - I figured it would have the normal spa feel and ammentities. (minus 1 star) It was Not in the best area of town at night, I took an Uber home after walking in. Went with the Spa soak, scrub, then massage and I was quite relaxed at the end of it all. Only thing that bugged me was there was no shower to rinse off at the end - I had to wait until I got back to my hotel. They had a sign on the shower closed for renovations. (minus 1 star) I would have skipped this spa if I had forewarning that I could not shower off after a treatment.
Dropped in for a deep tissue massage, and mentioned to focus on my shoulders right at the start. If this is considered “deep tissue”, it’s the lightest of touch - I’ve had deep tissue massages across OC and in various countries, this is at best a typical spa “pleases don’t apply too much pressure” type of massage - a hand glide at best.
Rates wise - seem reasonable initially till you see the multiple signs at the counter stipulating a MINIMUM 25% tip.
I saw the look of disappointment when I tipped 25% for the mediocre massage, which begs the question if these therapist are even reasonably allocated the base price to begin with. I left with a feeling that this is one of the many places riding on the insane tipping train we find ourselves in right now in this country. Also note, the minimum gratuity is not listed on the webpage.

The ugly: Wife canceled 1 appointment out of two about 20 mins before appointment, and this is when things went wrong.
Strike 1: The scheduler got super mad. Even though my wife explained that her period had just started. She gave my wife a bad attitude anyway.
Strike 2: They took me into a room where I waited for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment at all. I felt like she was taking things out in me.
Strike 3: The lady working on my body said she had left some marks and I did not make a big deal, but when I got home, I saw a nasty scratch. (See pics).
I rate business frequently and take into consideration many factors such as customer service, pricing, parking, quality of goods, etc. I rate this place low because of bad customer service and a horrible attitude.

Yesterday, I had a massage with Tom, and it was wonderful! He's super nice guy and an excellent massage therapist. Plus, he listened to the issues I was having and addressed them. The place follows great covid protocols too so I felt very safe during my visit.
I found Moonlight to be a godsend as it's so close to my home and the parking is excellent. Additionally, others have commented on how clean and aesthetically-pleasing the environment is. However, what I'm most grateful for are the skilled massage therapists who always manage to target precisely what areas need attention. Each time I leave,I feel an improvement in my posture that lasts for days afterwards. I eventually decided to sign up for the subscription when I realized that I was using the service on a regular basis--it only made sense financially speaking.
10/10 experience! We received a couples massage with a foot scrub add on and cupping. Easy to make appointments. Great location, friendly, knowledgeable massage therapist and staff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Love this place so much! WE WILL BE BACK SOON.
Put me in on tight notice - just be mindful it’s cash only. I got deep tissue and I’m a big guy but the women there are so friendly and really know what they are doing. I highly recommend this place. It’s around the side of the bakery and up a flight of stairs.
This is an excellent spa. I go there once a month or every six weeks for the 90-minute bodywork. I've had a few different masseuses, and they're all fantastic. People here are able to get into places in my body that I didn't know existed. They maintain it very clean and have additional protections in place for Covid, which makes me feel completely secure coming here. If you're seeking for the type of massage that leaves you sore (in the best way possible) and relieves tension in your muscles, come here!
After finding this little gem of a place on Yelp, I was very excited to visit. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their craft--Vanna gave me an amazing massage! Everyone should go here when they need some relief from all that tension built up during these hectic days at work or school (or whatever).

I can't get enough of this place. It's one thing to have a great massage, but it feels so much better when you're in love with your therapist! I've had 3 different sessions and every single masseuse was excellent especially Cherry - they were all very skilled at traditional Thai massages too (which is my favorite!).
This is THE BEST Spa in the South Bay. From the moment you walk in the door you feel at peace, like a weight has been lifted and that you will be safe and pampered.
The staff is AMAZING. I've been going here for years, I miss Alison (best massage ever) but everyone there still always exceeds my vision of what a DAY SPA should be.

Nancy gave me an amazing massage and I was able to be seen same day for a MUCH NEEDED 90 minute massage therapy session. I have been dealing with chronic shoulder pain this past year and Nancy did a wonderful job focusing on the areas I needed help in and she made me feel comfortable. Very affordable price with a great masseuse. Included hot towels, hot stones, and a mix of massage technique. Tip well!

Okay, so we were not impressed at first. Kind of a run down part of town (we walked to it), small facility, and they were running behind. Once we got to the tub and settled in though, it was great. We did a couples tun and massage. The wine and champagne were served a little on the cold side so weren’t super tasty but we enjoyed them nonetheless! Chocolate covered strawberries and the end were fantastic!

This is a great place for a Thai massage (probably any style of massage). I have been getting Thai style massage for years ( in Ontario) so when I get a good massage I know it. Price is good and the lady who gave me my massage was extremely skillful.
Allyson is awesome. She modifies the session as needed and checks in frequently to make sure you are comfortable and she is addressing any issues. Highly recommend!!

I recently booked a Body Beautiful Wellness package with Allyson, which included a 90-min massage, a foot scrub, and facial massage. I came in with a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck and some pain in my mid-back from running and sitting for work. My treatment with Allyson was excellent in that I left feeling wonderful and literally free of tension. She was very communicative about how much pressure I was comfortable with and checked in with me regularly. I highly recommend a treatment with Allyson.

I started going for deep tissue massage about fifteen years ago and usually went to high end places like Burke Williams. Then a friend suggested Allyson. The quality, time spent and prices beat out anywhere I have ever gone. To top it off her charming and warm personality adds to it. She is a master at what she does!
