Crowded, bustling, noisy vibrant centre of Bogotà. I went on a Sunday and the vendors were fully set up in the square which I didn’t expect. There were so much crown I couldn’t move! Vendors sold everything from Colombian traditional bags, jewlery, Lama rides, traditional Colombian street foods, cotton candy and candy apple…it was like going to the fair or the Carnival. Police presence was heavy everywhere and lots of security guards too. It is something everyone must experience.

Very interesting it's a must go place, walking around political buildings, its a cultural entertainment and there's a museum Santa Clara, with an interesting history cost was $5usd, completely worthy

Many historical, cultural, and government architecture in the area. Very busy, lively, crowded, and vibrant. A lot of street vendors sell eclectic mix of food, local products, and souvenirs. Good place to feel the vibe of local people and culture. Worth visiting

Nice plaza to look around at the centre of the city. They have souvenirs and artisan market going on, sometimes there are different events happening here. Beaware of the llama trap tho. It’s not too too expensive but they do ask money to take photo with the llama.

Worth visiting. The main plaza within the historic center surrounded by beautiful religious and government buildings. Lots of pigeons within the area. Some vendors selling pigeon food. A nice place to take pictures of the cathedral and other government buildings.

The surroundings are full of art, history, great food and culture, its the place from which all interesting sites of the historical centre of the city can be reached. Its a must to vosot place when in Bogota
There is a lot of culture and things to do here. The best days to go are Sunday and Saturday. On those days the square is usually very lively and full of people. The street vendors might annoy you if you do not buy anything from them. It is mostly safe, just exercise caution and have common sense. There is also a beautiful basilica here too. A lot of people normally sit on the steps and eat or watch performances.

Lively place. I visited on Saturday Evening and witnessed dance performances and live music. Good vibes. A lot of people. I found the plaza safer than what I had read online. 20 minutes walk from the museum. I recommend visiting here if you're in the city. There are few coffe shops and vendors around.

Be super careful because is a hot place. It's dangerous, like you can not show valuable things neither an afraid face. If you buy something there always bargain a lot, and the best is you can get cheap prices.
The plaza itself is not particularly nice, but there are lots cheap shops around for stationary and clothes. Expect to pay more than the locals, but still cheaper than chain stores.

Good prices. Just be careful with your belongings.
I'd like to walk through this Square with totally freedom without being stolen by a thief
